Note: This was written in two parts, but basically it was one long writing run. I'm also absent my favorite and best proof reader, and I hate going over my own stuff once I've written it, though I have doublechecked most of it. As such, there may be some minor errors and mistypes. If you find something important, feel free to point it out so I may fix it. Thank you, and enjoy.

"SHIT!" Sin leapt thru the doorway as he saw the explosive tags light up around the arch, detonating just as he passed thru the doorway, tons of rock collapsing the tunnel he was just in. He stood up, brushing the light brown dirt off his black robe, as voice rang out in the hollowed out cavern, making his ears twitch, "You always were too concerned with how you looked Sin . . . "

He growls, ears turning towards the noise, "and you never did learn to listen . . . I told you I'd kill you if you ever came back to haunt the village . . . " Sin turned to look across the room. Standing in the shade between two of the lamps, Kam steps from the shadows. His pale white fur contrasted against the black as he glared straight back. "I dont think you can make good on your promise old dog . . . "

Sin growled, "This dog isnt so old that he cant put you in your place brat . . . . " Sin whipped three kunai at him with a lightning quick flick oh his wrist, watching as Kam grabbed them from midair a second before they hit him, spinning and launching them right back at him with a single paw. Sin reached out and caught each of them easily, despite the spread he put on them. "Then put those toys away and fight me ninja to ninja old man . . . " Kam smirks at him, grinning wickedly, "besides, you wouldnt really be satisfied with taking me out with a few kunai, would you?"

Kam stood there, smirking, as if he'd already won. Still panting a litte from the sprint thru his traps, Sin glanced behind him, tail flicking as the cave entrance finished collapsing, sparse rocks and dust sprinkling from the rubble blocking the doorway. He growls, his eyes locked on Kam, ready for any sudden attack, "whatever it takes to stop you Kam . . . . "

"Your not going to get away this time Sin . . . " Kam grinned, tightening his gloves, standing at the far side of the massive underground cave. Sin laughed, "classic, havnt even started but you are already planning your victory meal . . . "

Kam growled in fury, spitting as he screamed at Sin from across the cave, "I plan a beef bowl and rice for your quake old friend!"

Sin stands there, adjusting his robe lightly, chuckling as he glances at Kam from the corner of his eye. "You never did learn to use precision of power . . . "

Kam grins, bolting suddenly as he takes off around the edge of the room, "You would think!"

Sin tenses, gripping the ground firmly with his toes as Kam sprints for him at full speed, grinning; Sin puts his arms up, ready for the initial strike, "Head on? You fool . . . "

Kam growls deeply, dust in his wake as he dashes up to Sin, leaping; he spins, whipping his foot out sharply, aiming for his head. Sin's arms rise up. crossing, blocking the direct attack easily, reaching out, Kam grabs the ground under him firmly, digging his claws in as he feels his foot connect with Sins arm, and twisting around to sweep his other foot under him as he jabs with his kunai, aiming for his ribs.

Sin's arms tense tightly as Kam's foot connects, far more power then expected forcing his feet firmly into the ground under him as he grits his teeth, dirt and stone crackling as the kinetic force dissipates into the earth below his feet. Keeping his focus, he watches Kam twist, as if in slow motion, seeing the shine of the kunai's blade as he steps back, footclaws digging into the wall as he uses it for leverage just behind him. Sin wraps his paws around Kam's ankle, lunging off the wall behind him and flipping over Kam, his blade and foot both missing completely as Sin turns his kicks energy around, throwing him across the room; Kam flys through the air, tumbling as Sin hits the ground where Kam was standing, one knee on the ground as he looked up at Kam, about to impact the wall with his back at high speed.

Kam growls in fury as he backflips, hitting the wall with his feet gracefully, barely raising a spec of dust as he flips forward, landing on the ground softly; his paws clenched as he glared at Sin, "I've gotten alot stronger then the last time we fought Sin, you wont win this time . . . "

Sin grins, slowly getting up, wiping the dust off his robe lightly as he snarls back at him, "You may be able to hit harder, but you'll never be able to beat me with power alone . . . " Sin moves into sa defensive stance, one leg back, arms in front to react quickly, 'You've gotten alot quicker, I'll give you that Kam . . .' he thought to himself, claws extending to grip the ground under him, locking into the stone under foot, as he kicks with his back leg, launching him into a sprint towards his target.

Kam lanches himself as well, sprinting straight towards Sin, footclaws leaving scars in the floor as he covers the ground quickly and leaps at Sin, he brings his paw back to punch, hoping to land a blow in his shoulder and take out his arm. Sin's ear twitches as he see's Kam leap, the moment his feet leave the ground, Sin twists, letting himself fall backwards, his paws shooting up to grip the ground as he arches back, he brings his feet up together, planting them firmly into Kam's chest as he howls in pain, the surprised look on his face fading into rage as Sin's kick sends him flying across the room once more.

Kam was unable to stop himself this time, the ground shaking a little under Sin as he landed and steadied himself; a cloud of dust and debris obscurred his view of the hole Kam's body had made in the wall. Kam slumped to the floor as the dust cleared, crawling from the crater his impact left, coughing hard, a red streak appearing on his arm as he wiped away the blood he had coughed up. Pushing himself upright, he growls at Sin, leaning up a little wobbly on one knee, "That was a lucky shot Sin . . . "

Sin smirks at him, ears and tail twitching a little as he remained ready for the next attack, "So was every other hit I've ever landed against you, according to you anyway" Sin grins as Kam howls in fury, remembering all the times Sin had beaten. Sin tenses as Kam stands up and howls, his voice echoing across the room, hurting his ears a little. "I'll tear you apart with my own claws you bastard!"

Sin braces himself as Kam launches, sprinting across the room with unbelievable speed; stepping into the strike, Sin blocks his first punch, reflecting the force back at Kam. Kam had expected this, and used the couter force of the block to stop his momentum, jabbing out with his other paw at Sin's ribs.

Sin catches his paw and pushes it away, swinging out to jab Kam in the shoulder. Kam spins, kicking his leg out to sweep Sin as he dodges the jab; Sin easily hopping over his leg and leading down with his paw to nail Kam square in the muzzle. Kam grins and snarls as he catches the ground with his claws, gripping firmly; leaning back, he barely dodges Sins punch, whipping his leg up hard in hopes of snapping Sin's arm in half.

"Your still slow Kam!" Sin growled as he saw his counter coming, twisting his paw and gripping Kam's ankle as he catches the kick, he wraps his other paw around tightly as well. Kam's eyes went wide as he felt this, knowing instantly that he was screwed. Sin used the momentum of his kick, twisting, footclaws digging into the dirt under him as he grunts in effort, pouring all the strength he can muster into whipping Kam around and sending him flying towards the same hole he had made minutes ago.

Kam howled as he flew towards the wall, knowing that if he didnt catch himself, he would not get another chance. Twisting as best he could, he manages to turn himself towards the wall, catching himself with all fours. Tensing, he turns to look towards Sin, his muscles ready to launch him back at the hybrid for a final strike. He froze as he saw a flash of grey from the corner of his eye, just before he could turn his face fully towards Sin.

Kam's howl of pain was muffled by the crash of several tons of rock being forcibly torn from their centuries old bed. Sin didnt wait this time, he didnt even think this time; Sin created a new technique in a moment of desperate fury. The moment he released Kam's ankle, he focused his power, forming a protective barrier around him. He had used this technique many times to deflect light, thrown weapons and the such, but this time he had a different intent.

Sin launched himself after Kam, pouring all his power into the barrier as he sprinted, watching Kam twist in midair in front of him. As if in slow motion, Sin watched Kam catch himself on the wall, he watched him turn towards Sin, and he watched his eyes go wide the moment before he hit him. Kam was crushed into the wall as Sin leapt at him; his barrier flaring white and exploding outwards as it collapsed around him.

Sin hopped back a bit, cautious, in cast the hit did not finish him off. Rocks and sand crumbled from an enormous hole in the wall, dust clouding the room as the tremors slowly came to a stop, the cavern shaking a little, threatening to collapse. Sin shielded his face from the dust, his eyes darting here and there, following every fallen rock and pebble, looking for any sign that Kam has survived. Sin frowned depite himself, walking over to the rubble. Near the base of the rubble, half an arm lay uncovered, the prestine white fur, marred with bits of blood, and shaded with dust and sand; and on the arm, Kam's forhead protector; the village symbol on it, a sharp, jagged line etched across the symbol, indicating the ninja's former affiliation and current status as a rogue.

Sin bowed his head for a moment, before untying the protector from his arm; wrapping it up carefully and tucking it into his robe, Sin nods one last time to the body of his former rival. "Unfortunate, that it had to end this way old friend . . . . their should have been another way . . ."

Sin sighed as he looked back one last time, before jogging down the only remaining open tunnelway, his footsteps echoing lightly throughout the room before dying away completely, leaving the room in silence, as if the mountain itself was solemnly contemplating this ninja's grave. The lights in the cavern flickered, slowly burning out one by one, casting shadows as the timeless room grew darker, the last burning torch, coincidentally, the one closest to Kam's rocky grave, begin to flicker as well, slowly smoldering into nothing.

As the last bits of light faded, a sound echoed quietly thru the dark, empty room; ignorant of the fact that nobody was their to hear it, it continued to bounce around in the dark, starting so queitly, even it's source was not sure the sound was even their. Slowly, other sounds joined in, dancing with that one sound as it became stronger. Sand pouring, pebbles rolling, rocks crumbling, and a single, furious voice, filled with loathing and hatred, echoed once again thru the dark, empty room.

" . . . s . . . s . i . n.........S.i.n............SIN!"
