A Cold Embrace
In a rusty, dusted part of my chambers window pane
Carved into frost by ghostly fingers lies my restless name
Sickened and dismayed at this ghastly sight of which
Speaking of the dreadful encounter, nerves began to twitch
Wiping clean the glistening gleam of the crystals winter gifts
Violently shattered on the floor by my now bloodied fists
Whispers persuade my anger, and change it into fear
For it is now that i hear your haunting footsteps creeping ever near
With chaos do the angels call, with sounded fury dreamers stall
A wispy flutter dancing there, vehement through the autumn air
With each cold breath my spirit withers, my will to fight begins to splinter
And with this night ill surely fade, and not return amongst the day
