Lynn's Ancient Adventure

Lynn sat at her desk, tapping her pencil against her calculus book. The green dragoness had been staring at the same problem for an hour now, but was getting no where. Even though her eyes were focused, her mind was not. It continuously returned to the conversation she had with Becky the previous day.

Ever since their trip to the beach, Becky had jump started the search for answers, hoping that it may lead to a better understanding and That was why the plucky ferret girl had paid her a visit. She had finally found some very useful information regarding Lynn's unique abilities!

It was the most excited that Lynn had ever seen her friend and even though at the time it was a little bit of an overload as her friend babbled rapidly about Iceland, and planes and going to investigate over winter break, she too was excited to know a lead had been found.

According to her little friend, it was all in a book she had stumbled across. She had insisted on flipping through it, muttering under her breath that she regretted not marking it better as she paced back and forth in the dragoness' room. Eventually though she exclaimed and passed the book to Lynn open to a pair of pages near the back. Lynn had kind of read it then, well, more like glanced over it. It was now laying on her desk, still open and waiting for her to actually pay attention to it.

The green dragoness continued to tap her pen, eyes drifting between the book and her Calculus work. She leaned back in her chair, not sure of what to do. If she read the book, her mind might be put at ease and she would be able to finish the work. However, she wasn't sure if she really wanted to look at it. Her mind was wrestling with the idea of staying mysterious or having an explanation, not to mention what if it said something about dying at an early age or it was a disease?

She looked around her room, trying to see if there was anything else she could occupy herself with. Then, Lynn looked out the window, the blue sky going on forever. Could she go on forever not knowing? Would she even be able to go on at all? She closed her eyes and tried to imagine a time when she didn't care, when she didn't even know. Even though it was only three months ago that this began and her whole world change, it seemed like a hundred years.

A knock at the door made Lynn's eyes snap open. She sat up and blinked a few times, bringing the world back into focus. Another knock was made, this time being louder and harder.

"Who is it?" she said loudly.

"It's Jake!" he said, voice muffled by the door.

Lynn smiled and got up from her desk. She had not been expecting a visit from her boyfriend today. He had classes and practice until late at night and then he was to tired to really even talk! She opened the door and hugged him tightly.

"I've missed you!" Lynn said, releasing him from her grip.

"I've miss you, too," he said with a chuckle. He kissed her forehead lovingly, making her smile. She stepped backwards, allowing her space to walk through the door. Jake shut the door behind him and walked over to the bed, sitting down on it and watching as Lynn went back to the desk.

"Busy, love?" the black dragon asked.

"Yes, well no. I can't get through this calculus."

Jake looked at her questioningly. Lynn typically didn't have to much of a problem with math. "You okay?"

"Just distracted," she said, eyes glancing over at the book on her desk.

" Wanna talk about it?" he said, following her gaze to the book.

"I'm not sure yet. I'm just scared, I guess," she said, eyes still held on the book.

"Becky find something?" he guessed.

Lynn simply nodded, finally looking back at him. She knew that he would probably be confused at her hesitance. At the same time, her mind told her that she should open up and talk about it before it really got her down.

"Yeah. I haven't really gotten to fully read it yet though," she said, turning around in her chair to look him straight on.

"Wanna do it together?" Jake asked, trying to be supportive of his mate.

Lynn smiled in return and nodded, pushing once again out from her desk and standing. She picked up the book from her desk and walked over to the bed, sitting close Jake. She held the book in her claws for a while, just staring at it. This could be one of the biggest things in her life, yet she wasn't sure if she really wanted to explore it. Jake put his arm around her, holding her close to him. She took a deep breath in, claw at the page that Becky had marked. As she let the breath out, she opened the book, a picture of a large dragon facing both of them.

"She really out did herself this time," Jake said as he scanned the page. Lynn nodded, reading the passage slowly.

"What does it mean the dragon goddess will come to save the world?" she asked out loud. Jake shrugged.

"No clue," he said. He then pointed to a sentence in the book. "It seems like more information can be found in Iceland. They certainly do mention this one place a lot."

"Becky had said something about that."

"Well, I'd believe her. Probably would be worth taking a look at. When should we go?"

"Go?" she asked, looking back at him in disbelief. How could they just go? There was school and practice and studying to do. Not to mention that Lynn hated planes. She simply stared at him, mouth slightly open and eyes wide.

"Be careful...you might catch more than a fly with your mouth open like that," he said, half joking.

Lynn shut her mouth, but there was no change in her expression. She couldn't think of the words to say to him, to explain all the emotion that was running through her. Her body did though.

Her breasts started to grow rapidly, the weight pushing her back down on to the bed. She dropped the book onto the floor as her arms started to lengthen and claws out grew the now tiny object. The bed squeaked slightly under the growing dragoness. As she continued to grow, Jake stood up before he was pushed off the side of the bed, watching her and realizing there was very little he could actually do.

"I'm scared of all of this, Jake," Lynn said, huge tear drops now coming from her eyes.

"I know baby," Jake said, putting a claw on her abdomen. "I'm here for you though, and you don't have to worry about me going anywhere no matter what."

"I don't like planes," she said.

"I'll come with you to that, too" Jake said with a smile.

"It is cold there."

"I'll keep you warm."

"We have finals coming up in two weeks."

"We shall go after wards," he said with a smile.

"I highly doubt this old story means anything," she said, grasping for any reason not to fly.

"Either way your a goddess for me."

"Do you have an answer for everything," she asked, an upset look coming across her face.

"Only when it pertains to you."

Lynn sighed and pushed herself up, massive tits jiggling around, her head bent so that she could fit in the room. She shifted her eyes to look at Jake, observing him. He really was completely sincere about what he was saying. She gave a meek smile to him, lifting one of her claws to wipe away her tears before they got her carpet soaked.

"Alright," she said, taking a deep breath in.

Jake smiled brightly back at her. He jumped up onto her knee, then standing on the tips of his feet, kissed her lightly on the snout.

"It will be okay, babe," he said, attempting to look into her eyes. "We will get this figured out."

"You won't give me a choice, will you?" she said. Lynn lowered her snout to the top of Jake's head, placing a kiss there.

"I will, but I won't make it easy for you," he said.

Lynn took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She focused on her body and let the breath slowly out of her mouth. Her torso and legs began to shorten. Her neck straightened as she shrank back down to her normal size. Her breasts began to go back to an so-called normal size. Jake fell backwards off her knee, landing on his back and looking at his mate as she went from giant dragoness, to normal sized dragoness with quite the nice ass and rack.

"Better now?" he asked, pushing himself up.

Lynn nodded, standing up from the bed and offering a claw to Jake. He grabbed it and pulled himself up, then pulling his girlfriend into a tight hug, claw reaching up to stroke her head.

"Good. We will schedule the trip around school. I wanna say just the two of us, but," he started.

"Becky is the researcher," Lynn finished.

Jake stepped back and nodded. He let go of her and bent down to pick up the book that was half under the bed. He turned back to Lynn and held out the book to her.

"Together?"

Lynn nodded and smiled brightly at him.

"Yes."

She took the other end of the book in her claws. Jake released it and she brought to her chest hugging it close. Her eyes cast downward looking at the floor. Her face had a conflicted look on it, as if still unsure of what she was supposed to feel.

"I guess...well...I just don't know what I really want," she said, gazing at the book.

"Well in the least, a real vacation would be nice."

Lynn smiled at first, but slowly began to chuckle and then laugh. She realized that no matter what happened with this and what they found, they would at least have each other. She placed the book down on her desk again and walked over to the window looking out at the vast blue sky that gave her a sense of calm.

Jake walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around the green dragoness. She leaned back into him, feeling her muscles finally relaxing and her mind finally clearing. An answer couldn't be that bad, could it?

With that Jake, Lynn, and Becky began to plan for their trip. Along with the coming exams, of course. Lynn mastered the final set of calculus problems and Jake's team at least won the last game of the season. Becky, well, the ferret did what she normally does; absolutely excel at all of the subjects.

As the exams came to a close and the weather grew cold, the friends packed their bags to a place much colder than they were used to. Becky was the luckiest one, she did already have a natural fur coat and warm blood. Yet, on the other hand she had to bring a whole extra bag for her books.

As they packed up Jake's Mustang and headed to the airport, Lynn was silent. She had never been on an air plane before, nor did she really enjoy the idea of them. The dragoness felt her pocket for the medicine the school doctor had given her to ease her nerves and hopefully put her to sleep on the ride over, along with the note saying that she could carry them on the plane. Those were the only security she had.

Jake pulled off the exit that was for the airport, getting in the lane that would take them to long term parking. They would be gone for a week, which typically wouldn't be long term, but with the way the flights worked out it would technically be 8 days. Then to add on delays and whatever else happened, well better to be safe than sorry.

As they parked Lynn popped open the water bottle and tossed back one of the pills, her muscles already tightening from the anticipation. She didn't like the feeling of her heart pounding in her chest like this, it almost gave her a head ache.

Becky tapped the dragoness on the shoulder, still sitting in the back seat as Jake opened the trunk.

"You okay?" she asked her friend.

"Yeah. I think so, anyway," Lynn said, absently looking back in the mirror.

"Well, do you plan on getting out?" the ferret girl asked.

"Oh!" Lynn exclaimed, still not moving, "Sorry. I guess I'm just getting my courage up."

Becky chuckled a little. For being such a big dragon, Lynn certainly was unsure of a lot of things. Then again, from the sounds of her childhood, the ferret thought, I suppose I could understand why.

Finally, Jake walked around to the passenger side door. He pulled the handle and opened it up, sticking out a claw for Lynn to take.

"Come on. I'll be with you the whole time," he said gently. She nodded and went to get up, the seat belt holding her back.

"Oops," the green dragoness laughed nervously. She pressed in the button, releasing the belt and allowing her out of the seat.

Becky pressed the button to let herself out of the back of the car, shaking as her foot paws hit the concrete. Her small round ears twitched at the sound of plane engines in the distance while her nose wrinkled at the smell of parking garage. She watched as the dragon pair picked up their bags and stepped off to the side, waiting for her to retrieve hers. Becky shut the door and walked back, lifting her significantly heavier bags out of the trunk.

Jake reached up and pulled the trunk down to shut it. The group then started to walk towards the entrance to the air port, ready to pick up their tickets and check in their bags. Lynn held on to Jake's claw the whole time, her muscles tensing throughout the whole ordeal.

As they came to the security check point, Lynn threw back another pill. At this time, her muscles were tense and throbbing, saying that they wanted to grow so that she would not be as scared. Thankfully though, the medication put her mind at ease for the most part, allowing her to concentrate on staying an average size.

After the beach fiasco, people knew of the giant dragon that flooded the town. In fact, most people were now terrified of going to the beach in case something of that magnitude was to happen again. She didn't want it happening in the airport, where she would draw more attention and cause more trouble for her friends.

She watched as Becky went through the metal detector, the light flashing green and giving the ferret the go ahead. Lynn looked over at Jake, her eyes attempting to plead with him. He smiled at her, pulling her closer to him.

"It will be okay. Just put all your things in the bin and step through. I'll wait right on the other side," he said, pecking her on the cheek and then stepping up to the silver machine. Lynn did as he said, trying to both pay attention to Jake walking through the detector and putting her stuff in the bin.

"You're good," the bear of a guard said flatly, "Next."

Lynn froze. She stared at the machine, body quivering, chest pounding, each cell throbbing.

"Ma'm?" the bear said.

"Sorry, sir," Jake said. "It is her first time in an airport."

The bear nodded. He got up from his stool and walked over to Lynn. He had a silver bar in his hand, something that was equally frightening to Lynn.

"If you don't wish to walk through, I can just scan you with this," he offered.

Lynn shook her head. She just wanted to be on the other side with Jake at this point. This place was not her favorite, that was for sure. The white walls and plastic gloves reminded her of the hospital, she thought as she stepped into the metal frame. It clicked and beeped before flashing green and telling her to go through.

Both Becky and Jake let out a sigh of relief as the green dragoness walked through, still at normal size and without fainting. Lynn let out a yawn, the medication finally full getting to her. Her two friends chuckled at her. Jake wrapped an arm around Lynn's waist, guiding her to where the bucket of carry on items was. She absently picked up each of the items, putting them back in her pockets or in her bag.

"Is she okay?" Becky asked Jake?

"I think so. The medicine seemed to just have taken effect."

Becky nodded at him. She watched as her friend trudged along, her only direction being decided by the way Jake was walking. The idea of being some ancient goddess, along with the thought of flying, was probably bothering her. That medication at least put the large dragoness's mind at ease. The ferret glanced down at the plane ticket, looking for the gate number they needed.

"We should be just up ahead," she said, not looking up from the ticket.

"And some time to spare," Jake added.

"And sleepy run away time," Lynn said in a partially slurred voice.

"Yes, of course hun," he said.

Jake smiled at his mate, hoping that this would last the whole ten hour flight over to Iceland. To have Lynn panicking mid-flight over the ocean probably wouldn't be the best idea in the world. The black dragon listened as Becky read out the numbers to each of the gates. To be able to put down Lynn and take a seat himself would be fantastic.

"Here we are!" the ferret girl squeaked.

Jake let out a sigh of relief, but before he could even make it to a chair the sign flashed 'Now Boarding'. He groaned both at the thought of walking more and the squeeze that he got from Lynn.

"I'm still scared. But I'm also really tired," she said. Her eyes looking at the little door way with dread. If there was any true fear though, it was subdued by the calming effect that the medicine had on her.

Becky ran up to the attendant and flashed her ticket, obviously excited for the trip. Jake and Lynn were quite a few steps behind, going much slower than the ferret girl. The black dragon rubbed his mate's back, trying to support and comfort her. He handed the lady the tickets before stepping through the door and into the narrow hall leading to the plane.

Jake could feel Lynn shaking in his grasp. He stroked her back faster, trying to help her calm down. The shaking turned into the tell tale muscle pulse and he almost started to panic a bit.

"Let's just get to our seats," he said in a soft voice, "Then you can go to sleep."

Lynn nodded meekly, trying to put herself as close to Jake as possible. The sound of the engines got louder and she could now see the entrance way to the plane. She swallowed hard and began fidgeting the the corner of her jacket. They walked through the plane's hatch and found their seats.

Lynn listened to what the flight attendant said, watching the cat lady demonstrate the seat belt, the air mask and pointing at the exits. She could feel Jake trying to find her seat belt and she shifted so he could find the straps. He buckled it over her waist and pulled it tight. Lynn shut her eyes, the last sight she remembered was the attendant sitting down. She felt the plane rumble around her as her mind slipped into the dream world.
