Sureality Event 1: Into Sureality
My first SF Story :D
I don't write much because it is often time consuming and I have trouble finding the right words XP

Event 1: Into Sureality
"Its dark... just dark" It hadn't stopped raining for days the gloom was beginning to take its toll on me. On top of that I was alone inside of the mansion I share with all of my friends... yet they had jobs and were all out working.
My names Kiwi I'm 16 years old. I have blonde hair and dark blue eyes. I'm not much of an athlete and a bit scrawny. I weigh 148lbs and I am 5'6" tall. The thing is I have a very short attention span, and I'm very impatient.
I was alone with nothing to do. I tried everything I could to ease the boredom but nothing kept me interested for long. So I just sat there staring out the window talking to myself. After a while the rain became more severe. The crackle of lightning filled the halls of the mansion. I didn't care at least the storm was good company.
"This is so boring" I said to myself "couldn't it rain any other day. I need something to do." There was a great flash followed by a huge wave of thunder. Then the lights went out "Oh great, power outage".
The house was dark and empty. There was no light but the occasional flash of lightning. I sat there staring into the shifting rains. Then suddenly an eerie feeling made my blood go cold. It felt like someone was watching me. "H-hello" I staggered to my feet "I-is anyone there" I heard a few footsteps going upstairs into my room. I was frightened for a second and then a feeling of excitement took me over. I quickly headed into my room to scout out the sound. "Anyone in here" I said as I walked into my room.
My room wasn't necessarily big, you'd probably expect it to be huge if you saw were I lived, but it wasn't, it was a small room that was nearly empty. I had a dresser, a TV, a small table with a laptop, and a bed. That was it if you didn't include all the clothes I had carelessly tossed to the floor.
I heard a few more footsteps leading into my closet. I turned then slowly crept forward, took a deep breath then flung the closet door open. There was a strange glow coming from the shelf at the top of the closet. It was a mixture of multiple colors, in the center it was white but on the edges of the glow it was all different colors of the rainbow. I grabbed the object and the glow began to slowly dissipate.
I could see what it was now. It was a strange stone that didn't look like anything I'd ever seen before. It was all in different colors, red, green, blue, and so on. "Well that's new" I said as I inspected the strange stone. "Where'd this come from?" The lightning crackled and the thunder shook the room, the stone began shaking violently in my hand, then it began to glow much brighter then before 'til I couldn't see anything but the bright colorful light.
After about 15 seconds the light dimmed and I struggled to see. I began to look around but the only thing that I could figure out was that I wasn't in my room anymore.
"Wh-where am I?" the light was still affecting my eyes and I had to strain to see. I saw what looked like a huge muscular lizard sitting on a throne looking down at me. He had a sort of pissed of expression on his face.
"Welcome to Sureality" He spoke with a deep thunderous voice. "I am Eticaius lord of this place"
"Sureality?" I asked him still straining to see him clearly. He was nothing but a huge red blur to me at the moment. "This place is a Virtual Reality that was designed completely by me" His voice sounded like the thunder back at home. He spoke with complete authority making it clear to me that he was an actual king of something.
"Why am I here then?" I didn't understand that a bit. Why did he bring me here? What was he planning to do with me? He was still blurry but I could see him smirk at me... an evil sinister smirk.
"Why I am collecting the most worthy of each specimen in the universe!" His words boomed like a child playing drums with a hammer. "Creatures like Tarkata, Doujini, and Torsorus, but never before have I collected a Human"
"Wha...?" I suddenly felt a chill run down my spine "What do you mean... Collect?" He slowly became less blurry I could see that he had wings. He was definitely not a giant lizard but an actual Dragon.
"I hoped you'd ask" He stood, leaving his chair and walking towards me. He held in front of me a controller. A large door opened then he pointed into it directly at cages full of all kinds of beasts. "I keep them all here... all kinds of creatures, for my... amusement. Though as I said before... I have never had a human"
I looked and saw all kinds of alien creatures, monsters, and mythical legends. Most of which had a resemblance to everyday animals like dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. It was scary but amazing at the same time. "What do you do with them?"
"It's simple really... I collect them for the enjoyment of anyone who's willing to pay" He grinned at me again this time exposing his enormous spiked teeth.
"en-enjoyment" I got what he meant the creatures here were all slaves. They were here to pleasure anyone and everyone ready for action, and by anyone they were probably all odd alien creatures.
"That's not exactly what you're here for. I have another job for you" I looked up at him confused "You humans are some of the smartest beings in the universe and it would be a shame to put that to waste" he patted me on the shoulder softly. "You are going to be working for me, keeping these creatures at ease and occasionally pleasing there needs as well"
"And if I say no" I quickly retorted.
"Then you will be caged" his grin grew giving me a sickening smile. "Anyways I can see you are still experiencing effects of the teleportation stone."
I rubbed my eyes then looked up at Eticaius again "how can you tell?"
"Your pupils are dilated and you've been straining since you got here" he pulled out a strange device it looked like a gun with a pair of goggles on the front end. "just stand still" Eticaius placed the goggle end over my eyes then a red light flashed a few times. Once he removed the strange device I could see, and much clearer then I ever had before.
I looked around the room I and Eticaius were in. It was a large throne room and everything that was inside was blue. All but Eticaius' chair which was a ruby red colored Throne, with crystal blue skulls on the ends each arm rest. The skulls weren't human they were some other kind of creature with long fangs, but they didn't look anything like Eticaius.
"This place is amazing" I was in awe the large throne room was like nothing I'd ever seen before it was creepy, but amazing as well.
"If you take up my offer then you will also be able to see the dining room and the guest rooms... but most importantly... your room" Suddenly I was ecstatic, I wanted to stay in this place no matter what the outcome was.
"Ok I'll take the job" Quickly before thinking twice I accepted the reptiles offer. I wanted to see this entire place. This Sureality...
