Counseled at Camp

You should always say goodbye to those closest to you before you leave. Chester's about to learn that lesson in the best way, in this story commission for IrvingWrites!

Chester is just getting ready to pack up and head home for the fall when this story kicks off. The annual staff party is well underway and drinks are flowing, but the young man finds that the bed of his truck is better company for taking his mind off of Juliette.

After going another summer without telling her how he feels, Chester is ready to drink the night away alone, sitting in the bed of his truck. Instead, Juliette comes to find him, call him out on his distant behavior, and confess that she's been feeling the same way about him for as long as she can remember.

With one last chance to make a connection and no one around for miles, Juliette takes her shot with her fellow counselor, and Chester gladly answers the call...

Chester was never ready for the summer to draw to a close, but that year, there was a week of relief to be had at the very end of it, rather than the three months he was used to finding in the middle.

The greater regret, however, was the fact that he was going to be away from all the friends that he'd made at camp that year for an untold time, and worst of all, some of the other counselors had already declared that they weren't coming back for another year.

He wasn't sure if he was on that list or not, but Juliette was...and throughout the summer, the more often they worked together, the more Chester was forced to think about the moments of privacy they had, however rare, and the things that she said to him when no one else was around to listen.

"We'd love to thank all of you for another successful summer at Camp Anora," the lead counselor spoke to the rest of the staff at the final meeting of the year; the whole crew was seated around a bonfire, sharing drinks and knowing that they could let their guard down for the first time in literal months. "And for those who are onto bigger and better things at the end of this summer, we wish you the best of luck!"

A 'cheers' went around the bonfire as plastic cups met with a dull tunk , and drinks continued to flow, now that the last batch of teenagers had been sent home from the day camp.

All that was left was a host of adults that had exhausted themselves in a good cause: keeping vulnerable youth away from dangerous situations, teaching them valuable life lessons and skills, and helping them adjusting for the later years of high school and early college were just a few of the things that the counselors did at Camp Anora, but after everything was said and done, the counselors had a habit of indulging in some of the bad habits that they told others to avoid.

After being in such a stressful and tense environment with almost no contact with the outside world and limited electronics, it was hard to blame them for needing to blow off some steam, and each of the counselors had their own cabin to retire to; small as they might have been, they had more than enough room for relieving some of those tensions, as it were.

A few people had already snuck off from the final meeting of the year in the pursuit of relieving tensions with another counselor, instead of with their own digits, but Chester was still lingering around the fire, sipping his drink quietly and shifting from side to side on a log bench.

With each sip, he felt his inhibitions getting a little weaker, but instead of feeling the confidence to ask Juliette what she meant when she said he really liked his shorts the night before, he felt his boldness fading little by little, just at the idea of never seeing her again.

So great at giving vague, hopeful advice to endangered youth, but so terrible at acting on it yourself, he thought, knowing that some of the kids would have judged him for having a single sip of the booze in his cup. If I was talking to one of my group from this year, I'd probably tell them to go for it...that they've got nothing to lose and only themselves to blame if they don't take the chance.

As friendly and magnetic a woman as Juliette was, she was constantly surrounded by the friends she made at camp, and that made it even harder for Chester to consider the possibility of talking to her in any sense, more than passing.

Might as well get the truck loaded up, he thought, as he gulped down the rest of his cup and made his way back to the cabin. The floor's more comfortable than that crappy bed, anyway.

**

There weren't many things for Chester to bring to camp in the first place: a tent, a sleeping bag, some basic toiletries and a week's worth of rugged clothes fit in the bed of his truck so easily that he felt silly for ditching the party early, but just sitting around the fire, he was starting to feel awkward, as if everyone could tell that he was struggling with his melancholy.

He wasn't going to bring down the mood at what _could_have been his last staff meeting, especially after previous years of sitting around that very same fire pit and enjoying so many fond memories with his friends.

"No point messing up the last one for the rest of them," he muttered, as he slammed the bed of the truck closed and turned to lean against it.

Chester only made it as far as propping his elbows over the edge of the truck when he saw that he wasn't alone: his ears flattened bashfully at the idea that anyone was listening in on him, but he couldn't have thought of anyone he wanted to see more...

...Nor anyone that he was less prepared to address.

"Pretty sure you're the only guy at camp who's never messed anything up," Juliette assured him. "In fact, I'd say you're the most reliable guy around this little campground...place would probably fall apart without you, y'know."

Gulping back his nerves as quickly as he could and wishing he had a fresh drink in his paw, Chester gripped the edge of the truck bed and tried to relax, but there was no way he could push the stiffness from his posture as Juliette approached the edge of the truck.

"Giving me too much credit, as always," Chester replied, hoping that his voice wouldn't sound too cheesy...but he was struggling to stay on top of his tone. "I always did like that about you, though...to what do I owe the honor?"

"The honor, hm?"

Juliette cocked a brow as she stepped a little closer, her boots skidding across the gravel of the parking lot; there was such a gap of silence that only the distant chorus of bugs and crickets filled the evening sky.

"If you think my presence is such an honor, you could have come and said goodbye before you shoved off, Chester."

Her tone was flirty enough that Chester didn't think she was genuinely insulted, but when she used that tone, his throat locked up and his head spun, the way that it always did when she was talking to him.

If he didn't know any better, he'd have thought that she was doing that on purpose, and some part of him truly hoped that she was...but it left him without a leg to stand on when he needed something to say.

"I'm, uh...I'm n-not leaving yet," he trembled over his words, knowing how obvious it was that he was flustered; he pretended that she didn't notice, but the adorable smile at the corner of her lips told him that she'd already gathered it. "Just getting a jump on things for tomorrow morning."

"With all the five things you had to toss in there?" Juliette teased. "Good thing you took care of that now, or you might have needed to start unpacking for next summer by the time you were done."

He'd never managed to roll his eyes at her, even when she was being so dry and sarcastic. "Very funny," he groaned. "At least I can wake up and get rolling in the morning...but what about you? I saw you were partying with everyone by the fire...they're probably wondering where you ran off to."

"Actually, they were all wondering where you ran off to. Everyone could tell that you were feeling a little off, but when you toddled off without saying anything, we thought maybe you were feeling sick. Glad to see that isn't the case."

She seemed annoyed with him, but it was hard for Chester to put all the pieces together, until her gaze narrowed on him. "Y-yeah," he admitted, "I'm fine."

"No, you aren't."

"...Okay, well...I'm not sick , anyway."

"That, I believe," Juliette admitted. As she closed the last gap between them, she didn't pin him to the truck like she had in so many of his late-night fantasies, but instead, she rested her forearms against the lip of the truck bed and looked past him, as if she was struggling with her own emotions. "But what's got you feeling so down? You've been mister chipper the entire summer...for like...the past five summers."

He wished it was as easy to just blurt out the honest truth as he felt like it should have been.

His mind was racing with the answer: Because you're not coming back and if you're not, maybe there's no point for me to come back either, he thought, but getting those words to his lips had proven impossible for the last month, and carrying that emotional burden was simply too much, any longer.

He hadn't been able to hide the outward display of those feelings as well as he thought.

"Just lots of things changing, lots of people leaving," Chester went as vague as possible with his answer, hoping that he wasn't insulting her with his generalities. "It's a lot to handle when I'm not sure what I'm gonna be doing next year, either."

"Thinking you might leave too, huh?" Juliette asked. "We're all getting older...can't just be camp counselors every summer forever. Gotta find a proper, year-round job eventually."

"How are you able to say that so easily, though? What about the people you might lose?"

"So you're finally admitting that you like me."

Chester blinked. "I didn't say t...I mean...I...uh..."

Giggling and giving his elbow a nudge, Juliette stood upright, still dwarfing Chester with her height as a grown adult. "Relax, dude. I'm just messing with you!" she assured him, but there was a little something more to her grin than a simple tease. "Unless...y'know...unless that's the real reason you've been such a stick in the mud this week?"

The fact that she said it first made it easier for Chester to confess, but she'd taken all the punch from his words by bringing it up first.

Sighing, he slumped onto his backside, sitting on the edge of the truck. "Was it that obvious?"

This time, Juliette blinked, but she didn't have the same stammering reaction as Chester.

"You've actually had a crush on me? For how long?"

" Years ," Chester confessed. "And I know we've got phones and texting and everything, but I kinda figured that...if we didn't talk about it now...m-maybe we never would have."

"...I've been dropping hints at you since the first day I met you, and you waited until our last night together at camp to say that..."

It wasn't clear at first if Juliette was more depressed or frustrated by that, but whichever side she was leaning, she was leaning that way with the help of the drinks she had before...and a brief sway of her rump, bumping against Chester's shoulder, made it clear that she wasn't that upset.

"You must have been building dramatic tension or something," she teased. "Waiting to get me alone so you could tell me how you really felt. You totally planned this whole thing."

Chester's ears were already completely flat, but feeling her rump against his shoulder perked him back up a bit. "Didn't plan a thing, and if this was going any worse-

"Any better," Juliette corrected.

"...Are you serious?"

She nodded. "Keep going. You don't get anymore freebies from me, so say what you're gonna say, big guy."

Her teasing pet name for him never felt more inappropriate, and behind the kindness in her grin, there was a hint of lust that Chester _thought_he'd imagined...but he knew he didn't imagine the shift in her line of sight, as her eyes drifted toward the bulge in his cargo shorts.

"...I really like you, Jules," he offered her nickname back to her, but he couldn't keep her gaze any longer. "And you probably think I'm a t-

"Okay, I lied. One more freebie," she cut him off, knowing what he was about to say about himself. "You're not a loser, this wasn't weird, and I...I'm just as much to blame, Chester."

"But you said you were dropping hints ever since we met!"

"I was," Juliette assured him, "But...you've always been such a little sweetheart that sometimes, I thought you were just being nice to me, and you...you probably thought the same thing about me."

"Someone being as nice to me as you were, that...t-that was the kind of thing that got me into trouble in high school," he confessed. "Always thought a girl was interested, and she was just really friendly. I was afraid to make that jump again."

"Can I tell you how glad I am that you did?"

Her arm wrapped around his shoulder without warning, but as Chester felt his heart skip a beat, he felt the contrast of comfort, rushing from his mind and flooding his body in a way that he wasn't sure he'd ever known before.

It was electrifying, and yet, absolutely soothing to feel her touch...and the moment defied his expectations so much that he wondered if he was dreaming.

"Feels like you're s-showing me, instead," Chester teased, hoping to prove, with a single statement, that he could learn to relax and play along with her.

He never could have known what kind of a sexual goddess he was set to unleash upon himself with that simple phrase.

"...If you really want me to show you...w-well...we do have a lot of lost time to make up for."

Chester felt his body being tugged up by the neck of his shirt, and by the time his feet planted, the lip of the truck was opened: he barely had a chance to blink before he was pushed over that edge, and an eager Juliette was crawling into the bed of the truck with him.

The whump of his backside hitting the padded bed was followed not with the words he meant to ask her, pleading with her about what she was doing...but by the muffled gasp of his excitement as she crawled right into his vacant lap and sealed her lips against his own.

It was only then that she hesitated and realized what she'd done, but acting on such intense passion, Chester wasn't going to allow his own nerves to get in the way of a good thing any longer: it was a subtle push back against her own, but his muzzle parted slightly, hoping that she'd get the silent message that this was unbelievable...impossible, even...

...but he didn't want it to stop.

Jules, you're not really doing this, are you?

His thoughts continued to wander, but his paws didn't have the same luxury: just as soon as they were done catching his fall into the bed, Juliette captured them and intertwined her digits with his own, wanting to hold him in whatever way the awkward, organic position would allow.

It wasn't much, in hindsight, but in the heat of the moment, Chester could feel every single place their bodies were touching, skipping over the series of dates that should have come beforehand.

They'd denied themselves such a luxury, forcing Juliette to clean up her own mess and pick up their mutual slack; they'd know each other for such a long time that it stood to reason they'd both thought about this kind of thing before.

There wasn't time for them to stop and ask each other how this evening had gone in their minds before, but they'd both imagined this moment so many times that it should have felt familiar.

"Th...this was too much, wasn't it?"

Breaking back from his lips and blinking before him, Juliette made it clear how much she'd allowed her passion and instinct to guide her actions, rather than listening to the slower burn of logic and reason.

She didn't know if she could bring herself to pull her fingertips away from his own; she needed the comfort of knowing that this wasn't scaring him off.

"Is it s-so bad...if I say that it might n-not be _enough_yet?"

Flat on his back and pinned under the gorgeous mare, Chester couldn't avert his gaze any longer: his honest stare looked up into the enchanting, flustered gaze of the woman above him and told a silent story, revealing to her that everything was going better, and at that, further than he ever imagined it would.

That wasn't keeping another part of his body from getting ahead of itself, and the pressure of the same was so evident against Juliette that she actually gasped when she felt it pressing up against her covered womanhood.

"...Oh...o-oh! So that's what you mean," she whispered, letting a giggle take some of the sting from her voice. "If that's the case, you really haven't had enough yet, have you?"

It was easy come, easy go for Chester's boldness, and where his voice failed him, his body was still trying to keep pace with Juliette in a slow, easy push against her body.

"We can't send you home from summer camp with something like that...just imagine if you had to wait another year to take care of this!" she teased, hoping that Chester would pick up on how much she was enjoying the press of his tented erection against her...but the lesson of the night, overwhelmingly so, was the fact that she'd been too subtle with him, before.

She wouldn't make that mistake again, even if she was feeling all the same nerves that he was at what she was about to do.

"You know that's n-not how a hard-on works, right?"

"...Yes. Yes I do," she answered dryly. "It's called being playful, Chester...and based on the fact that you're still jabbing at me with your cock, you were enjoying it quite a bit. You could even try it yourself, sometime."

Chester swallowed back a nervous gulp. "What if...what if I'm not that playful, though? What if I'm not fun enough for you?"

"That's really what you're worried about right now...?"

He's thinking about me beyond this moment, she realized. He's a good guy...a nice guy...he's not just thinking we're about to have farewell sex or something. That's...new. I think I like that.

"Kinda?"

He was simple, honest and sweet, and the longer Juliette sat in his lap with her sense of indecision, the more she realized that she was hoping for just that kind of guy to fall into her lap at some point in her life; she was already sick with regret at the idea of how long they'd been silently harboring feelings for each other.

Chester hadn't fallen into her lap, but while she'd landed in his, she wasn't going to waste the opportunity to officially claim the lucky equine as her boyfriend...and to put a serious exclamation point on that statement.

"Chester, you...you and I have had so many good times here at camp, together," she told him. With a tremble in her fingers, she eased them away from his palms and ran them along the insides of his wrists, watching his body quiver in response to every bit of flesh that she teased. "You are fun, I promise...and...I wanna have a little more fun with you, tonight."

He blinked, and her fingertips were sitting at the waistline of his shorts, dancing over his zipper.

"If you...if y-you'd have me, anyway."

Chester wouldn't blame the drinks that he'd had previously: compared to the thrill of Juliette sitting in his lap and grinding on his covered length, there was no worthy sensation that alcohol could provide.

He wanted to act purely on his desire for her, praying that this one time would make up for the years of passing glances, flirting gestures and time that they'd missed out on.

"I...I know I should just say yes," he admitted. "It should be that easy..."

"Nervous?"

" Horribly."

That part, he could be honest about with ease, but hearing a tiny giggle and seeing a smile to match it helped to ease his concerns a bit.

"I like you a lot, Chester...so...if it helps? I'm kinda nervous too," Juliette confessed. "You're a nice guy, and I don't wanna mess this up..."

His own thinned lips began to curl, at that. "I don't think there's any way you could mess this up, Jules."

"Should I just do what it feels like you want me to do, then?"

Her fingertips were already pulling the zipper. A breath came into his lungs, he winced, and he felt the soft cotton of her panties against the naked tip of his erection, letting his precum soak against her already dampened fabric.

"As long as that's w-what you want..."

"If you're still questioning that, I guess I'll just have to do a better job of showing you how just how much I want you, Chester..."

The button-up top of her uniform was already open when she approached, making it easy for Juliette to shrug out of it. Everything was such a thrill to Chester that he felt like he was missing little bits of detail, but he didn't dare to complain about the sudden heft of her breasts as they were freed from her brassier, or the soaking heat of her bare womanhood as she tugged the crotch of her panties aside.

Rolling forth and shifting so the underside of his tip was kissing against her folds, she took in a heavy gasp, but just like her body, she held it and held still, waiting to see Chester's reaction.

"That's a lot...m-more than showing," he claimed, keeping his slightly aloof nature alive all the way through the peak of their passions. "Not that I'm complaining at all."

"The way you're throbbing against me, I can't imagine you'd call that a complaint, no."

They shared a brief chuckle at that, but there was nothing silly about the pleasure that jolted through their bodies when her form shifted, guiding the flared tip of his equine cock past her tight, tender folds and into her entrance.

"Hmnn...nnn!"

There was no concern about the risk of getting caught, until Juliette realized that she was about to cry his name at the top of her lungs; far away as they were from the bonfire, the silence of the night around them would let her voice carry a very long way.

"Jules, d-did...you just..."

"Do something that I s-should have done a long time ago?" she asked, staring him down and letting the full intensity of her desire for him come across in a single gaze. "Yes...and I'm not stopping there..."

It was rushed, but it was simply blissful: the mare slammed herself down the rest of the way, bucking the old, creaking bed of the truck and pounding on Chester's hips with the overflowing wealth of sexual frustration that they'd caused themselves.

Her soaking passage embraced his whole length with a desperate squeeze; a silent clutch that begged him to stay with her when everything was said and done.

"But you're w-working so fast...don't you w-want to take it easy?"

"No!"

Chester blinked at that, but he saw such twisted desperation in Juliette's stare that he understood her logic, even before she spoke.

"If I'd done what I should have...a-all those years ago...we'd have been fucking like this f-for months now," she explained, all while bouncing faster and faster in his capable lap. "I'm not waiting to learn every f-fucking inch of you...I'm not w-waiting...to c-cum all over you, Chester!"

He could hardly believe what he was feeling, but once it started, there was no denying the full, internal quiver of her womanhood as she unleashed a rapid and powerful climax around his shaft, milking it and reminding him almost immediately of what they'd forgotten to place between their bodies when they started.

She was addled with need, and that need extended to the first gush of seed that erupted from the very tip of his cock, pouring right into her womb and alerting her to the same thing they'd forgotten; there was only a brief moment of wide-eyed panic and hesitation as they looked at each other and held still...

...The next moment was the second meeting of their lips, as passion overtook judgment, and bodies started moving once more, splattering their mutual juices with even greater fervor...

**

The tiny windows on the cabins didn't let much sunlight in, but there was plenty of that drifting through the canopy of the trees above when Chester stirred awake the next morning.

The bed of a truck was never such a comfortable place to fall asleep as it was that night, and the cute, quiet breath of the mare against his chest was a better sign that he wasn't dreaming than any pinch could ever have been.

"You were the only reason I kept coming back, y'know..." he whispered, not wanting to disturb her peaceful form. "So if you're really going...I hope you don't mind me going with you."

The tiny, tired smile on her lips didn't change a bit as she slept, but when he repeated that confession to her in a conscious state later on, there was no telling how wide her smile would become...
