hushed springs
Id hate to tell you a boring old story but if you understand the past ... maybe you'll make the future better
in the old times in the area that would later become known as hushed springs... there was a tribe of people things where good for a long time
until one day there was no food to be found no animals to hunt so the people prayed to anything everything
two of the tribes people where contacted by two different gods each turning to the tribe telling of what the gods told them
one was told by the being of the silver water in the sky had blesse the top of the High land if properly cared for and obeyed the god would make sure the tribe will live on forever
the other was given visons of a sacrifice a ritual that must be done to restore the land a heavy burden but a very necessary thing they must do
they two now profits tell every one else in the tribe but both of them have the same number of followers ... the second insisted the ritual must be completed and attacks the first
there is much blood shed and many die on both sides the first profit prays to the being of the silver water and a long silver streak falls from the sky crashing into the mountain the blast shaking the ground and forcing the fighting to stop
the tribe now split in two one dwelling in a lake formed by the blast the other living not far where bodies of the dead had been gathered and sacrificed
the tribes would then only interact with each other for war
many years later there would be a third tribe that would settle in land not far from the other two they thought themselves pure and all powerful blessed by their all powerful god to cleanse the land and make all things right and as they enacted their gods holy will and attempted to destroy the other two tribes...
at some point the fighting did stop and the people and land healed but the old gods of these first 3 tribes still linger and the scars still run deep everything is now set for the war to start again with each believing their god will insure they alone will achieve victory and peace
