Dodger finds himself in quite a predicament. He has no idea of what's going on and he sees a pair of red eyes whenever he closes his own. Wonder what's going on...

5th Zonktober story written for Dodger (https://twitter.com/DodgyWrites). Hope you guys enjoy it!

Dodger was barking.

He'd been on all fours for the past few minutes, tail wagging at his back excitedly as he jumped around, trying to catch Max's attention. The rat had snickered at first when he'd walked there to jump on his knees, but then had stopped minding him.

Gary, on the opposite, was much more affective. The golden retriever was squatting next to Dodger, petting his head and scratching under his neck. It felt good, but Max's attention would have felt even better. Dodger wasn't entirely sure why he knew that, but he did.

"Wow. So you weren't lying," Gary said, still impressed. "Does he do any tricks?"

"Only the ones we teach him," Max replied, still grinning.

Dodger barked again. He was a clever dog, so of course he knew many tricks! He just needed to be asked to do them by Max, who was leaning on the wall with his arms crossed on his chest. The dog whimpered and switched his weight from one leg to another, as if trying to look pitiful in order to catch his eye. It didn't seem to work very well, so he resumed his excited barking and jumping mere seconds later.

"It's really cool," Gary admitted.

"Yeah. Wanna see a trick he knows?" the rat asked, finally getting closer to Dodger.

The dog's barking got even more excited and his tail swished back and forth like a whip. Max kneeled right in front of him, placing one hand on his head. Dodger remained perfectly still.

"Sleep, boy," came the command.

Dodger passed out.

There was something in the middle of the black emptiness that swallowed him whenever he went to sleep like that. Something that remained the same, no matter where he was or who he was or what he was. He hadn't always been a dog, had he? Before that, he'd been...

But it didn't matter. There were eyes. The eyes were staring right into him, keeping him frozen in the vast empty space inside his head. Keeping him in place. They were glowing and sending feelings down his spine, feelings that Dodger couldn't even begin to comprehend, but that kept him there, in the dark, mindless void.

"Wake!"

Dodger was frozen.

No matter how hard he tried to move, his body simply wouldn't respond. This time he was a liolf again, but his muscles were solid and his eyes remained wide open. He was staring ahead vacantly, watching at the two figures standing in front of him as they looked at him - one with curiosity, the other with satisfaction.

"This is so awesome," Laura said, taking a step towards him. Dodger felt like saying hello to the cheetah, but his mouth didn't even budge. "So is it real? Can't he move?"

"I think he's as stiff as a board now," Max mentioned. For some reason, something about those words really seemed to affect Dodger, whose body got even stiffer somehow.

"Can we move it?"

"Sure, you can try."

Laura grabbed Dodger's hand and moved it as if she were adjusting a mannequin. Dodger could barely watch as she bent her arm until it was placed in a completely different position. Then, she laughed.

"Okay, that's hilarious."

"I know, right?" Max said, chuckling.

Dodger tried to understand what was going on, but for some reason his mind also felt solid, as if the gears of his thoughts were rusty and had decided to slow down their turning just to be safe. It was difficult to come to any coherent conclusion in that state, plus...

"_Sleep_now."

Down again.

It was like floating in a dark ocean, only those eyes to guide him like a lighthouse in the distance. If Dodger had been more aware, he would have noticed he was walking in his sleep, mindlessly following orders as they were given to him, but right now that part of his brain was completely shut off. He simply floated adrift blindly, staring into those red eyes that seemed to melt his brain with each pulse. Always sinking, yet always about to sink, as if he could always somehow go deeper into the abyss.

"_Wake_up."

Dodger was... edging.

He had no idea for how long he'd been like that. His hard member throbbed between his legs as he stared helplessly at the rat that towered over him on the bed, those red eyes glowing like burning charcoals. Now that he wasn't a dog, now that he wasn't a statue, he could finally speak.

"I... I..." he whimpered. "P-please..."

Max's hand caressed his cheek and then slid down to his chest, drawing a semicircle on his abdomen until it reached the shivering liolf's groin. The expert hand cupped his balls and Dodger moaned weakly as a bolt of pleasure went through his body.

The intense feeling made him close his eyes, and yet, he could still see the rat's gaze in the darkness. If he were to open them, the stare would still be there. There was no way of escaping those eyes, no way of running away from the mind-melting stare.

He could only keep looking into the eyes.

"You've been a good boy today, Dodger," Max assured him, a wide grin on his face. "It was just this morning that you came to me and said you missed being hypnotized. And it really looks like you did. You only had to look into my eyes for a few seconds before you dropped like a rock. But oh, we did so much stuff today. And so much else you don't remember."

A teasing finger moved to Dodger's length and the liolf moaned, this time a bit louder. Being in control of his own voice felt weird, but the memory of having lost control over it - which was embedded on the liolf's weakened mind - felt hotter by the second.

He couldn't recall a single minute in his life he'd felt more submissive or helpless than he was feeling right now for the rat on top of him.

"Okay, okay. I think you've earned it. Come on, boy. Cum for me."

Pleasure intensified, taking over Dodger until all he could do was squirm beneath the rat, a firm hand pinning him down to the bed as he finally unloaded all over his shivering body. Gasping, still trying to collect parts of his shattered mind as thoughts came and went, Dodger's heavy eyes turned to Max's gaze.

It made the liolf tingly in his afterglow as it glowed in the darkness like a fire.

"That's a good boy. And now, sleep."

Still buried in the remnants of his pleasure, tangled in the heavy post-hypnotic feeling, there wasn't much Dodger could do but drop hard. There would be time tomorrow to understand what had happened, to make sense of everything.

For now, all that remained was the deep, dark abyss of mindlessness and a natural, instinctive compulsion to keep, keep, keep staring into those eyes.

They would go whenever Dodger went, anyway.
