This is what Daniel read after the barrage of bone arrows knocked him out.

Chapter 19: Intro of Darkness

The bone rain went unceasing until blood from every fur was spilt. Qurrah would only allow six to survive for his own twisted purposes. The dark panther Qurrah had made his first apperance. Only a few knew what he looked like. Each arrow crunched under his mighty feet as he approached the unconcious human and picked him up by the neck. "Is this the human...Benson?" The red fox appeared from the shadows, nodding under his black hooded robe. "He's not as powerful as the prophecy portrays him...his success in his first round was luck of the draw." Benson knelt down and kissed his master's feet. The panther bent down and brought Benson's chin up, smiling down at him with his glowing yellow eyes. "Rise, my child. You have earned my respect. I only ask that you be locked up with the others to ensure that they do not escape."

Benson bowed, shifting through the shadows. The panther threw back his cape as he stretched out his slender arms. A dark cloud spread throughout the arena, smoke filling the lungs of all the furs that perished. None had escaped death but the six chosen ones...Daniel, Uraku, Jalhamut, Aveyi, Nick, and Benson. Qurrah threw Daniel's body into a group of dead furs that started reconnecting haphazardly, holding him steady above their heads. "Bring them all to my lair, my children. They have all finally gathered...my lord...we shall feel your blessing once again."

The panther walked toward the waterfall, laughing maniacally as his undead carried the six unconcious bodies to his hideout.

The five furs were thrown into a dirty cage that swung unstably from a ceiling. Below them lied sharp iron spikes, skeletons resting among them to mark where other's had fallen. The cage's slots were wide, forcing them all to cling to a bar for dear life as they woke up from being tossed into the cold metal container. Daniel was in Qurrah's arms, the panther laughing at the fear the furs were displaying. "Ah...at long last. With this one's demise I can finally resurrect that which YOU have taken from me...Aveyi. Oh how Drayak will love to see my collection of the greatest threats to his empire...bunched up in a cage."

Nick growled loudly, barking a message. "Daniel! If you're reading this! Rambo!" Qurrah tilted his head confusedly at him, as did the other furs. Qurrah just laughed and turned around, heading to the room where the sacrifice would be made.

The grand hall that Qurrah walked through was filled with giant bats, each of them flapping down to look over the human that was brought in. Qurrah laughed, knowing well what these bats wanted. "Now now, my pretties. This one must be pure. However...if you wish to fool around with the ones in the cage...go right ahead. Be careful though...they might be fiesty.

The bats flew off toward the cage to get what they wanted. Qurrah sighed in bliss. "Scat loving bats...one of my favorite tortures."

The dark room they entered was a simple black walkway, blood flooding on both sides of them. Qurrah basked in the scent of death that surrounded him. They approached a circular pit at the edge of the walkway. Qurrah laid the human down on his back, tying his arms and legs by the wrists and ankles to the edge of the walkway where four hooks jutted out. Daniel was stripped naked, giving the panther a view of his silky smooth skin. "My my...what a handsome young creature. Oh well...I can't have them all I guess." The panther raised his arms up into the air, chanting an ominous tune to the void in front of him.

A deadly wind began to blow in every direction, the blood climbing up the walls and gushing into the void in a spiral fashion. Qurrah began to laugh maniacally again. He pulled a large dirk from his side, holding it up high. "The moment you wake up...it'll be complete. So...RISE!" The panther kicked Daniel in the head to wake him up...

Back to the present for a bit.

Daniel had thought about it over and over in his head...if he didn't return to the book, their world would be saved...but at what cost? Everyone he loved was there...Daniel didn't want their existence to cease. No...he had to go back and rescue them all. Nick told him what to do..."Rambo".

Daniel arrived at the gunshop around night time when the store was closed. He hated stealing as much as he hated lying...but this was a special case. Daniel's righteous thirst for destruction would be used for good. He picked up a brick in the nearest alley and broke in the glass to get inside the shop. The alarm sounded loudly. Daniel only had so much time before the authroities arrived. Daniel needed to hurry...he would do anything to get what he needed and get to his friends...he would even kill humans to do it.

He quickly gathered body armor to help protect his vitals. He found a .50 Beowulf assault rifle and fell in love with it. He strapped it to his back, packing the pockets of his overcoat with ammo...tons of ammo. He took two hunting knives and put them each in a pocket on opposite sides. He heard sirens in the distance, and made his exodus. He ran into the alley before the cops had shown up to storm the place. He hid behind a dumpster, holding the two knives in his hands as he listened to the police shout at each other and search for the culprit. Daniel stayed in that nasty spot for the night. He was tired, and needed sleep before he returned to the book. He closed his eyes and nodded off after the last of the sirens and police had faded away.

The next morning he was shaken awake. "Hey buddy, whatchoo doin' in my alley, huh?" A street thug jerked him upright, Daniel dropping his book on accident. Daniel still had his knives in his hand. "Oooh, a reader! Tough guy!" The thug shoved Daniel away as he bent over to pick up the book. Daniel got up slowly, looking at the man with annoyance. Whoever he was...he was nothing more than an ant to him.

The thug pulled out a lighter, flicking it on and holding his lighter under it. "I wonder how well this burns...hahaha!" Daniel's arms moved quickly, sheathing his knives and pulling out his Beowulf, pointing it straight at the thug and arming it to fire. "Put the book down before I blow your head off. I don't have time for your bull shit." Daniel sounded demonic...like he was someone else now. Human life meant nothing to him if it got in his way.

The thug laughed. "That piece of shit? You don't even know how to..." Daniel was done waiting and risking the book to catch fire. He shot at the thugs head, the burst easily alerting anybody around them. Daniel walked over to the corpse of the thug, kicking him onto his back as he reached down for the book. Daniel shook his head. "Idiot..." He then put his gun away, held the knives in his hand, and put his hand on the paw of his book. It was time to take care of the evil in Uraku's world...

One more chapter before we move on to book two. This will be epic...I hope D:
