A Wolf on Sauria Ch.2

Krystal yawned and untangled herself from the blankets enough to stretch out. Fox lay beside her, uncovered from her movements. She ran a hand from his chest down to his stomach and then the dangly bits below. Playing at the entrance to his sheath with a finger for a moment, it didn't look like any morning wood was going to bloom. She had exhausted the poor fox last night. For the time she left him with a light kiss on the cheek.

After a quick shower, she stepped out into the ethereal golden morning. Even on the tropical planet it was a little brisk considering she was wearing only her Saurian flight suit. Basically a leather thong and bra connected with straps, plenty of places to clip tools or weapons conveniently while keeping the rider as light as possible. The imprint of her labia was visible behind the thin triangle between her hips, while the strap in the back sunk between her bubbly cheeks. An ivory ring clasped the base of her tail, nestled at the top of her butt crack. And her spear strapped on a hip meant she was all set.

She liked to start the day with a flight on her pterosaur. On the path to his roost, a light breakfast could be plucked from the jungle. She spotted a bush laden with reddish striped berries. Foxberries were her pet name for them, for their resemblance to his fur's coloration. Small and tasty but not very filling. Hanging just above was a cluster of bannanas. Long, thick and quite a mouthful. They made her tail raise just looking at them. Her lips passed over the girth of the fruit and she rubbed the blushing warmth in her muzzle once done eating.

Shrike was in his usual spot, perched on a fallen log in a nearby meadow. He stretched his wings wide at her approach, then hopped down. She gave his beak an affectionate pat as he nuzzled her.

Takeoff was an especially thrilling experience this morning. Scantily clad, riding something big and powerful. Able to rise straight up toward the clouds. Spiralling up the pillars of fluffy white, cruising over transient landscapes of ghostly islands. Always the same circular route around the lagoon but with different scenery each day.

Today though, she unknowingly had company in the lofty wilderness.

It felt like his old spacefaring days as Wolf cruised along on his great pterosaur. The dinosaur itself was large and dangerous like other beasts from the volcano lands, but the modifications were what really made it feel worthy of bearing the Gray King of the Sharpclaw.

With tools looted from a fallen cargo pod, he had the lizards disassemble his wolfen. The armor plating was attached to the pterosaur, making it nearly invincible to any tribe on Sauria. Its talons were enhanced, now curving longer and sharper with spacecraft-grade metal. The targetting optics were affixed to the beast's crest, wired back to a screen on the front of the saddle. And last but not least, the repurposed leather seat from the cockpit made for a comfortable and stylish saddle. Wolf was back to being the most dangerous thing in whatever airspace he stalked.

S' good to be the King

Far below, a shadow fell on the other much smaller pterosaur and its rider. Wolf's mount gave a guttural clicking noise as it homed in on them.

But it could be better...

Looking back over her shoulder, Krystal scanned the sky for the source of the shadow. High above them, she spotted a rift torn in a feathery strand of clouds. Down from that- it was swooping toward them incredibly fast. A flapping monstrosity of metal and outstretched claws, shining in the sun it could have been mistaken for a meteor.

Krystal cried out as she whipped the reigns over a shoulder and yanked hard to one side, bracing for the impact at the same time. She squeezed her eyes shut and clenched her teeth as Shrike banked hard enough to roll over into a nose dive. They felt the wake of the speeding monster buffet them, even before her stomach could flipflop from the change in velocity. It pulled up hard and then glided on its metal wings, lifting one to circle back around.

The pterosaur had jet black hide visible between the armor plates, with a sickle shaped beak bone white at the tip and a serrated ridge leading back between its dark eyes. Then there was the rider- a steel eyed being, a barrel chest armored in red scales and the glint of sun on a weapon. Somebody attacking her. This was certainly a distraction, just not the type she would prefer.

Drawing her staff, it extended and then folded forward into an angular bow while a thin strand of the golden metal spanned the jeweled tips to form the string. She drew an arrow from the quiver strapped to the saddle and took aim. The shot bounced off the monster's head, just above the eye she had been aiming for. Another aimed at the rider, but was swept aside by a wing. It was beating them hard, slowly regaining its altitude. She had to turn her attention back to flying as it was on her tail again.

How to get this bitch on the ground in one piece? Clip the wings

Wolf took aim with his scattergun, at the wide leathery wings of her ride. At that moment she banked sharply and nothing connected. As she cut back and forth through the air, he couldn't get a clear shot. His finger twitched just an instant too late each time.

"Catch that whore already!" Wolf shouted as he jabbed his mount's back with the tusk serving as bayonet for his gun.

There was a terrible noise in response, grinding metal blended with the roar of the great pterosaur as its body curled up in a sharp metallic fist threatening to close over Krystal and her dinosaur both. Only for her to slip out at the last possible instant in a nose dive. He was quick to swoop after her.

As they shot into a cloud, she pulled up on her reigns directing Shrike into a sharp loop. She stood straight up in line with the dinosaur's back and then hooked her legs under the rear strap of the saddle. Wolf looked up in time to see the vixen hanging upside down at the top of the loop, drawing her bow. In the same instant he fired, an arrow buried itself in his bicep.

Shrike tumbled from the top of the loop, straightening out in a nose dive and trailing a wounded wing. He pulled up, flapping frantically as the two traced over the treetops and thrashed into the jungle. They bounced between branches and came in for a hard landing at the forest floor.

"Get home. Find Fox. I'll see you there, promise,"

She only had time to spare her mount a sympathetic touch on the beak as she dismounted and dashed into the jungle. The wolf was not far behind judging from the sound of metal wings crashing into the trees, shaking or knocking them askew and sending birds or small dinosaurs scrambling away in terror.

The vixen's slinky form wove through the jungle without leaving a single shaking leaf, while oversized paws pounded the ground in her whispery wake. He could see the flourish in her tail each time that pert butt darted around a rock or tree, flicking faint hints of her presence into the air.

This little bitch is in heat!

Wolf growled and clawed at the trees as if to hurl himself forward, closer to the tight body contained in nothing but strings and scant leather. Hips, thighs, firm rear end...he wanted to feel every inch of her under his claws.

Somewhere ahead, Krystal leapt and caught a low branch with her stomach. Spinning her body over it, she came to a halt crouched on top and concealed in some foliage. The wolf's footsteps drew near and then thundered past her. In their wake, thoughts returned to Fox. She'd have to get back and warn him about this stranger.

Heavy footfalls were circling back around and suddenly two massive clawed hands reached up taking hold of the log between her paws. She gave a yelp as the claws raked into the wood and it was yanked down, fighting to keep her balance. Wood cracked and the entire branch fell out from under her. Wolf brought down an avalanche of splinters, wood, leaves and booty.

She scrambled to stand as he tossed the branch aside and lunged. Nearly tripping over her own feet, she tried to retreat backwards thrashing through the bushes. Huge hands closed around her waist, lifting her up in front of the monstrous grinning wolf. She took a hard hit as their momentum slammed her back against something metallic.

"I'm gonna tie you to the biggest tree on this planet and rape you until it's time to yell timber!"

He put his face between her legs, squishing his nose against her barely covered mound and inhaled. She yanked on his ears but to no avail. There was no way she was going to overcome his strength and so drew her spear. Bracing it against the metal surface behind her, she extended it toward the wolf's chest. The tip shot out, biting into his armor and forcing him backwards. He had to drop the vixen to twist his body aside and avert the spearhead from impaling him. It left a large gash in his scale armor and cut across his side, tracing a line of blood in the steely fur.

Before he could pounce again, he noticed the object they had collided with. Shocking enough to give Krystal an opportunity to roll backwards under it and dart off into the jungle.

A phantom straight from his past, sitting out here in a clearing in the wilderness. An arwing. He wanted to call it a hallucination. But it was too solid, too detailed with a dusting of pollen on the canopy and all the imperfections of wear and tear. He turned his eye back where the vixen had fled. This time, he began to track rather than chase her.
