Okay, because I don't feel like changing it, I'll post the chapters in reverse order (or at least that's how they'll appear). Chapter 3 of my story.

Chapter 3: Raising the Children

Months had gone by since Dusik and Fierra fucked that night. Yes, Fierra was pregnant. She was hoping that more than one child would survive this time though. Dusik helped his wife out as much as he could. He got a job as a lumberjack, cutting the trees down with the moves Cut, Tackle, and Iron Tail. Besides getting a job, Dusik did all the house work and other chores.

"Baby you don't have to do everything," Fierra told Dusik one day.

"I don't want you pushing yourself. Last thing I want to happen is for any of the children to be harmed in any way or die," Dusik explained. Fierra frowned as she lowered her head. "Is something wrong honey?"

"When I gave birth, three little Eevees were in front of me. Of the three, you were the only one that lived." Tears started dripping from Fierra's eyes.

"Please don't cry mother. I'm here and alive. I will love you always."

"Oh Dusik," Fierra said as she buried her face into his chest, sobbing as she did so.

"Shhhhhh, it's okay mother. I'm here for you," Dusik whispered into her ear while he rubbed her back. Fierra calmed down and stopped crying shortly after Dusik comforted her.

"I'm sorry."

"Don't be. You lost something close to you. You have every right to be this upset. I know you want to help with the chores and stuff but I just don't want to you to push yourself too much."

"Okay. I'll go lie down. Would you mind bringing me something to eat?"

"Yes my love." Fierra was eating a lot. This was due to her pregnancy. Dusik had just gotten back from gathering some groceries. Once all the food was put away, he began mashing some berries up. Once finished, he brought the dish to Fierra.

"Thanks," Fierra said. Before Dusik could get a word in Fierra had gobbled down the entire dish in seconds.

"Wow. That was rather...quick," Dusik responded after his mother finished licking her lips.

"Sorry if I seem like a slob. I just get these huge food cravings."

"It's okay. You don't need to apologize." There was a brief silence. Dusik laid down next to Fierra and nuzzled her. Fierra then fell asleep. "Sleep tight my love," Dusik said as he kissed her. Dusik decided to go for a walk. He didn't go too far cause Fierra was due to delivery anytime soon. When he got home, sure enough, Fierra was screaming in pain. Dusik ran over to her.

"Fierra are you okay!?"

"I...I think I'm going t-to..." she tried to squeeze out. Dusik knew what she was trying to say. He was able to get a hold of the hospital. Once there Dusik waited for her to give birth to their children. After what seemed like hours, Fierra had given birth to four Eevees. Once the newborns and Fierra were all clean, they went home.

"They look so adorable and peaceful," Dusik said as he looked at his children.

"We need to name them. Two of them are males and two of them are females," Fierra said. Dusik put on his thinking look.

"Well we could name this one Sheena," Dusik said, pointing to one of the female Eevees.

"Okay. Lets name the other one Kilandra," Fierra said. She then looked at Dusik. "What shall we name the boys?" Dusik thought hard.

"How about we name this one Leefal, and this one Aquenus."

"Okay. Now that we've named our children, shouldn't we start making their rooms?" Fierra asked.

"Well we don't have enough space for four separate rooms. Lets make two rooms. One for the boys and one for the girls. Give them each their privacy." Dusik responded.

"That's reasonable. I'll help to make up for all the things you did while I was pregnant."

"Thanks honey." The two nuzzled each other and got right to work on making the new rooms. Once done they placed the four sleeping Eevees in their respective beds. Dusik and Fierra went into the living room. They sat together, silent, for awhile.

"This day has been wonderful. You've made me so happy," Fierra whispered to Dusik. Dusik's face went from happy and content to horrified. "Is something wrong baby?" Dusik shook his head then looked at Fierra.

"No, nothing's wrong my love," he replied. What the hell just happened? Why would she ask me if something was wrong if I showed no signs of being troubled? Dusik thought. The day was getting late. Fierra and Dusik headed into bed and fell into a deep sleep.

Dusik and Fierra raised their children well. The next five years were a struggle, between work and the kids. No matter how tough things got, Dusik and Fierra stuck together and did the best they could. The four little Eevees grew and, by age three, could speak. Aquenus loved to play jokes on his two sisters, while Leefal enjoyed their company. By age five, all four children had chosen what to evolve into. Fierra, even though they had chosen already, had still sent them to school.

"I win yet again!" Aquenus said with pride one day. The four siblings decided to race home. Aquenus finished first, followed by Kilandra, then Leefal, and lastly Sheena.

"Not fair! You tripped me halfway!" Sheena yelled. Aquenus put on a somewhat devilish grin.

"You ran into my foot. I can't help it if your clumsy," Aquenus said with the same grin. Sheena growled and was about to attack her brother when Fierra walked in.

"Quit picking on your sister Aquenus," she scolded him.

"Sorry mommy," he said quietly.

"How was school?" Fierra asked her little Eevees.

"Great! As I guessed, I stand final with my decision to evolve into a Leafeon," Leefal said.

"It was okay," Kilandra said with her head down.

"What's wrong?" Fierra asked.

"I..."

"Did a face plant right into the ground trying to show off," Aquenus interrupted. Kilandra turned red and hid her face in her tail.

"Aquenus! Go to your room now!" Fierra yelled at her son. Aquenus did as he was told. Sheena hugged her sister.

"Don't let him get to you sis," Sheena said to her sister.

"I wasn't showing off. I was just doing a trick and I fell." Kilandra started crying.

"Don't cry sis. It's okay. Leefal and I thought it was a wonderful trick." Kilandra sniveled and lifted her head out of her tail.

"Really?" Sheena and Leefal both nodded. "Thanks."

"Alright children run along. Your father will be home soon and you don't want to be in his way," Fierra said.

"Yes mom!" all three Eevees exclaimed. The two girls headed to their room and Leefal headed to his room. Once he got in he saw Aquenus pouting.

"I didn't do anything, and I get yelled at," Aquenus pouted.

"Yes you did. You took something that wasn't true and said it about our sister. You embarrassed her. Why can't you see that?" Leefal said angrily.

"Okay so I said she was showing off! Big deal!"

"It is a big deal brother! You made her cry."

"I did?" Aquenus questioned.

"Yes. Sheena and I comforted her but you did make her cry."

"I didn't mean to make her cry. I was just trying to be funny."

"You should apologize to her the next time you see her."

"Okay, I will." The two brothers then laid in their beds, wondering what dinner would be.

"I hate him! He's such a jerk!" Kilandra yelled.

"Calm down sis. I don't want you hurting yourself," Sheena said with a small amount of worry.

"Why does he treat me like this? I mean he's a jerk to us all but me more than anyone else."

"Who knows? Lets just throw the ball around while we wait for dinner." Kilandra grabbed the ball and they started tossing it around. Dusik had finally arrived home, a bit later than usual.

"Baby is everything alright?" Fierra asked him when he entered his bedroom.

"Yeah, just a small problem with the new guy. Nothing bad or major," Dusik answered. He hopped onto the bed and closed his eyes.

"Tired?"

"Yeah."

"Aquenus was picking on his sisters again." Dusik sighed at the sentence his wife just said.

"That kid is always getting into trouble. When will it end?"

"I don't know, but hopefully it ends when he evolves. I need to go make dinner. What would you like baby?"

"Sitrus stew please. I could use the energy." Fierra left the bedroom to make dinner. Dusik sighed again and started to nap. Fierra had dinner done in twenty minutes.

"Children! Dinner time!" Everyone came into the kitchen to eat.

Things got smoother as the children aged more. Once they hit thirteen, the four Eevees started to learn about love. Aquenus got more mature and stopped bullying his sisters. It happened when he saw Kilandra come out of the bath. He was walking towards his room when he saw her leaving the bathroom. Her body was a little wet, leftover water that the towel couldn't dry off.

"She's beautiful. A lovely girl, and I've been being mean to her. I need to change or I'll never get any girls." Ever since that day Aquenus had a secret crush on Kilandra. He was afraid to tell her how he felt cause he thought it was wrong. While Aquenus was falling for Kilandra, Leefal had grown attached to Sheena. He was spending more time with her than anyone else. Sheena felt the same way as he did for him. She decided to confront him one day about it.

"Leefal, can I talk to you?" Sheena asked her brother. She was at the doorway to his room.

"Yeah sis. Come in." Sheena walked over to him. "What do you want to talk about?" Sheena at first was very shy and nervous. She stayed silent for some time. "Sis what did you want to talk about?" She couldn't help herself any longer. She leaned in and gave Leefal a quick kiss, shocking the Eevee.

"I love you brother. I want to be your girlfriend."

"You...you want to be my girlfriend?"

"Yes brother! Oh please! I love you so much!" Sheena pulled him into a tight hug.

"I want to be your boyfriend," Leefal whispered into his sister's ear. Sheena's eyes went wide with shock. "I love you sis. I want to be your lover."

"Oh brother. I love you so much," Sheena said. Leefal then kissed his sister. The two nuzzled each other for a little while. Once they stopped they left the room to go outside and play.

"Aquenus has stopped bullying his sisters," Fierra told Dusik one day.

"I wonder why," Dusik responded.

"Leefal and Sheena have been playing together a lot."

"Something tells me those two are in love with each other."

"Well if that's the case then I'm happy for them." Fierra said. She then pulled Dusik close to her and started making out with him. Dusik pulled away. "What's wrong baby? Usually you get on top of me when we make out."

"I saw him. I saw Might." Fierra's eyes went wide with fear.

"Did he attack you?" Fierra asked, fearing gripping her tightly.

"No. He just stared at me with a disgusted look." Fierra breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank god. I was worried that he hurt you."

"Why do you fear him so much my love?"

"He's the one who is responsible for your father's death." Hearing those words filled Dusik with sadness and rage. "Calm down Dusik. Please. Last time you lost your temper you scared our children." Dusik immediately calmed down, remembering what had happened last time he got pissed.

"Sorry."

"I can understand your anger and sadness. I loved your father so much."

"He was your brother, wasn't he?"

"Yes. Zapper was my brother. I loved him so much. God I wish he were still here." Fierra started crying. Dusik rubbed her back.

"Shhhhh it's okay. I'm here my love. Shhhhhhh." Fierra calmed down.

"Thank you."

"Lets get some sleep." Fierra and Dusik then laid down and fell asleep.

For three years Aquenus hid his feelings for Kilandra. One day though, when they were sixteen, he confronted her.

"Hey Kilandra," Aquenus greeted his sister.

"What do you want?" she asked with a hint of roughness in it.

"Okay, for the past three years I've...well, I...I've been..." Aquenus tried to speak, but was struggling.

"You've what?"

"I...I...I'm in love with you!" Aquenus blurted out. Kilandra took a moment to take in what she just heard. After a bit she responded.

"You may have feelings for me, but I have none for you. You may have stopped bullying me, but the pain you caused me when you did is too big." These words hurt Aquenus but he knew they were true.

"I understand. I'm sorry for how I treated you, but if you have no feelings for me then I see why." Aquenus then walked away, tears dripping from his eyes. It took a week for him to get over what she said. "I don't deserve her. Not after how I treated her," he cried. "I can only do one last thing. Prove that I can make her feel good and happy through my actions." Aquenus tried his best to prove to his sister that he cared for her and wanted to be with her. At first she just ignored his actions, but he did something that opened her heart to him.

Aquenus and Kilandra were walking home from school. Leefal and Sheena were home from school cause they got sick.

"So, how is everything?" Aquenus asked his sister. Kilandra ignored him. "Please, at least answer me. It's one thing if you ignore my actions, it's another when you won't even talk to me or acknowledge me."

"Just leave me alone!" Kilandra yelled and started to run ahead. Aquenus tried to catch up to her. It was only shortly after he started running that he heard her scream. Now he was bolting as fast as he could. When he caught up he saw Kilandra cornered by an Electrike. She cowered in fear as the Electrike showed his razor sharp teeth. Aquenus charged him, knocking the surprised Electrike into the wall. Aquenus was somewhat dazed after making contact.

He's defending me. After all I've done to get even with him he still defends me. Kilandra thought. He must really be in love with me. To be defending me against an Electrike without hesitation only shows how much he loves me. Kilandra started falling in love with Aquenus as he battled the Electrike. No matter how many times he got knocked down, Aquenus got right back up.

"Why won't you stay down?!" Electrike yelled at Aquenus.

"You want to hurt my sister. I won't allow that!"

"Stubborn Eevee. Maybe a Thundershock will keep you down!" Just as the Electrike was about to prepare his attack, Kilandra tackled him.

"Brother lets go while he's down!" she yelled to her brother. The two of them bolted home. Once they were safe they tried catching their breaths.

"Are you...okay...sis?" Aquenus said, trying to catch his breath.

"Yes...I am...thanks...to you," Kilandra said, also trying to catch her breath.

"I guess I better go now." Aquenus started to leave.

"Wait," Kilandra called out. Aquenus turned around, and as he did so, Kilandra kissed him. This shocked him greatly.

"Why did you kiss me?"

"Well, you saved me from that Electrike. If you didn't love and care about me then you'd have just let him attack me. It showed me that you truly loved me and changed."

"Does that mean..."

"Yes. I will be your lover." Kilandra nuzzled Aquenus. The two new lovers spent the rest of the day playing together.

Finally, at age eighteen, they were finally going to evolve. Dusik and Fierra attended the ceremony with their children. All four Eevees were very eager to evolve. After some time one of each Eeveelution appeared.

"Hello Eevees! We'd like to first of all congratulate you on making it this far," spoke the Umbreon.

"Before you are able to evolve we need you to make a line in front of the Eeveelution you would like to become," said the Vaporeon. The Eevees all rushed to the spot they wanted to be. The four siblings said their farewells and headed off.

"I'm so proud of them!" Fierra exclaimed, a tear falling from her eye.

"I am too. Lets go home and wait for them to get back," Dusik said. The two parents left the field and headed home to wait for their children's return.
