The Plushie Problem

The hypno plushies require new friends, will the mouse and his wolf friend manage to avoid them?

The mouse was packing away his stuff, getting ready for his next big move. He was going to be getting out of his little dingy apartment above the dive bar into a much nicer apartment in the city of his dreams, he was almost amazed when the job he applied to half-jokingly there actually was interested in hiring him. He was rummaging around in his closet putting clothes and the odd occasional knick knacks into his box marked Gaia's stuff in sharpie. He kept up this rhythm until he found a box covered in dust tucked away in the very back corner of the closet marked stuffies. He thought to himself it was odd that he kept them all those years, pulling it out of the closet into better light he dusted it off with his sleeve quickly before opening the top. Staring up at him with what almost looked like longing eyes was his favourite stuffed lion, it was enough to make him almost guilty for forgetting all his stuffies in that tightly packed box all those years. But he was an adult now and so he moved the whole box into the donation pile he had made before getting back to work packing his other things.

Hours later and just a little sweaty Gaia stood up and looked at his life packed away neatly into, move, donation and garbage piles. Yet he still couldn't let go of one nagging thought at the back of his head. Going back to the donation pile he pulled out his stuffed lion again and gave its mane a little pat.

"Well maybe you'd be alright to keep..." Gaia said to his pal, looking deep into his glass eyes "Huh, that's weird he said looking really closely into the middle of the iris of the stuffed lion. Inside was a spinning spiral, or what looked to be one, but how could that be? It was spinning slowly but spinning for sure, an odd blue and yellow swirl deep within the lion's gaze. The longer Gaia stared at it the harder it was to look away, but eventually he shook his head and snapped himself out of his little trance.

"That was weird..." He said dropping the bear down into the move pile and going to take a shower. While the shower was running his stuffed lion started to move on its own, first wiggling its arm before popping up onto his plush feet and stretching out with a big yawn.

"Wow, how long has it been since I was taken out of that awful box? I almost forgot what it was like to actually move." The lion looked over to where the mouse had left his friends and noticing the box marked stuffies, but with a new added word, donation, below it. "No no no, that just won't do..." He sighed and jumped up, using his plush body weight to topple the box over spilling all his plush friends out, who, just like him started getting up and stretching themselves out with various words of how long was I asleep?

"Alright guys listen up, Gaia is thinking about giving us away and despite him locking us in that closet for all this time, we still love him, so we're gonna make sure he never does that again yeah? Here's the plan..." The lion pulled all the plushies in describing their course of action while the occasional giggle escaped one of their mouths. They quickly went and set the box back upright and all the plushes ran into the closet, except the lion who laid out on the floor.

Gaia got out of the shower wearing just a pair of shorts and started toweling his hair off when he walked into his room. His foot kicked something and when he looked down, he saw his stuffed lion sprawled out on the floor.

"I swear I put you in the keep pile, how'd you get there?" Gaia said bending down to pick him up, noticing those same swirling colour's in the lion's eyes, only this time they seemed bigger. His mouth drooped open a little bit before he felt a push from behind, causing him to lose his balance and falling over. Free from his trance, he looked behind him and nearly screamed when he saw the army of living plushies pouring out from his closet running directly towards him.

"No don't look at them look here." A sing song voice commanded, and when he turned his head back, he saw his stuffed lion standing up and smiling at him.

"You can t-talk?" Gaia stammered out confused and panicked as the plushies because to surround him.

"Oh, I can do so much more than talk... Let me show you..." The lion said glass eyes completely filled with the swirling yellows and blues, spinning faster with each second he looked into the center of them.

"NO!" Gaia cried out trying to rise to his feet, but a few plushies with supernatural strength grabbed his arms and held him down on all fours. "Wh-what are you going to do to me?"

"We just want to remind you how much you love us all, and how much you need all of us." The lion said confidently.

With that, the mouse found his shorts being pulled down, falling into a pile at their knees and two plushies came out from the closet carrying a white bottle on their shoulders. He wasn't sure what the bottle was but when he saw a smiling teddy bear with a large plastic rectangle in his hand, he started squirming trying to push off all the plushes holding his arms and legs down.

"Is that a diaper? Where did you even get that?" Gaia cried out in confusion.

"We have our ways..." The lion replied, mimicking a bad German accent.

"Do it guys." The lion commanded to his plush friend with a nod. "Don't worry about that, all you need to do, is look into my eyes, and everything will be juuuuuuust fine..." He added ominously.

Gaia shut his eyes as hard as he could, trying to ignore the feeling of large amounts of powder hitting his butt and tickling his nose, giving him a whiff of pure nostalgia. He heard a light crinkling noise and felt a soft and warm pillow feeling hugging his but and wrapping around his waist. He felt something approach his still shut eyes, and press up against his face, before a paw touched his eyelid and slowly pulled it up.

Gaia was staring face to face with the deep glass eye, filled with spirals and the effects were instantaneous. Quickly he forgot what was worrying him about all his plushies holding him down and putting him into a diaper. His other eye opened to stare deeply into the deep and hypnotic eyes of his lion. His mouth opened, drool started to run down his chin as his brain was being scrambled by the lion. The plushes holding him in place let go as the mouse slumped down and rolled onto his back. He giggled absent minded as the lion climbed up onto his chest to keep the mouse entranced.

"goooood boy" the lion said, grabbing the mouse's arm and maneuvering it so their thumb was in front of their face which they instinctively began to suck on it. Hours later the mouse was still drooling around his thumb and his eyes were filled with rings of yellow in blue that were swirling on their own, no longer needing the lion to stare him in the eyes to keep him under his hypnosis. Instead he was playing around with his plushes giving each of them the years and years worth of love they missed while tucked away in the closet. Playing with them, cuddling with them letting them rub and pat his padded butt. The next morning he woke up on the floor, still diapered and all his plushies were laying around him not moving. He heard a honking outside his window and looked out to see his friend with the u-haul truck they rented waiting outside. He got dressed slipping jeans on over his diaper and packing all his plushies away in one of his moving boxes. Before quickly running outside to meet his friend and start loading his boxes into the truck. They made a stop at the thrift store to drop off his donations and then the dump and they were off to their new apartment. Gaia side eyed his friend, knowing the message the plushies left him with, bring more friends...

Weeks later the mouse and his friend were moved out into their apartment, the wolf was sure he caught a flash of something white sticking up out of the back of his friend's pants when he bent down to grab a box when moving in, but he was probably better off not asking about it.

"Hey, Splicer just fully finished decorating my room wanna see?" Gaia cried out from behind his room's door.

"Yeah! For sure, give me a second!" The wolf called back, adjusting the poster he was hanging on his wall.

Walking into the mouse's room the room did a quick spin seeing all the posters the mouse had hung up, catching a glance of a pacifier on a dresser that the mouse snatched up bashfully hiding it behind his back. Weird the wolf was thinking, maybe it's a stress thing though... Suddenly his eyes stopped on the bed, or what should have been the bed. Instead, it was plastered with plushies, so many plushies he wasn't actually sure if there was a bed underneath them all. He might honestly not know but he could barely make out the bed's frame underneath the mountain. But most attention grabbing, was the plush lion sitting at the very top looking like it was looking directly into his eyes.

"Yeah this one is kinda cute Gaia... Gaia?" Splicer had picked the plush lion up and turned to look at his friend, but when he looked he saw the door to the room closing with a light click. The plushes watching from the closet were waiting with a diaper in hand, trying to suppress their giggles. "That's... weird..." Splicer muttered looking back at the lion, catching something that looked like it was moving in the glass eyes. He brought it closer to his face and looked deeper seeing blue and yellows spirals deep inside, spinning slowly....
