"Rice to Meet You Pt. 1"

Power Fur Rangers,

Go, Go, Go, Go!!!

On the moon in the Evil Emperor's lair the mighty dragon sits on his throne glaring at Nega LongHorn. The Winged Ape stood nearby jeering as he saw the displeasure of his master.

"That foolish wolf failed to enslave the others," The Lord Emperor vented.

"That's why you never send a ranger to do a monster's job." Nega LongHorn remarked. The Evil Empress slithered in holding her rainbow staff and she sat on the throne next to her husband.

"I have finished it!" She remarked as she held out a green colored Power Ring.

"Excellent my dear," The Evil Emperor shouted gleefully. "Now we can create a Power Fur Ranger of our own!"

"S-S-S Because the power is based off of you, my love, the ranger will be more powerful than the others combined." She explained.

"We just need to find a species that is worthy of it. Someone that we can trick into joining us." The Winged Ape repolied as the others ignored him as they stared at the ring glowing in the limited light of their lair.

"In the meantime, what do we do about The Power Fur Rangers?" Nega LongHorn asked evilly.

"How many more clones can you create?" Evil Emperor asked.

"That may be a problem. Because the water is no longer contaminated by venom, I had to drain the entire crowd we had in order to make one. I'm not sure if I can find enough angry hateful species to even make another one."

"We need a new way to get them infected with venom. We tried making them drink it but what if we made them eat it? We could make a new food that everyone loves and once they eat it they will be affected by venom." The Evil Emperor mused.

"Something that both Predators and Prey will eat?" The Winged Ape asked.

"Something that even The Power Fur Rangers will eat!" The Evil Empress said.

"Pitiful, pitiful, pitiful," Gollip remarked as he appeared out of a shadow. "Rice is eaten by more than half the planet. Rice pudding is sweet to eat and a very tasty treat. Put venom in rice pudding and you might have a winner." Gollip said.

"Uh, what the tail is rice pudding?" The Evil Empress asked as she looked in disgust at Gollip. Gollip crawled over and laid his head on the lap of The Evil Emperor.

"Gollip!" The Evil Emperor shouted and the creature quickly raised his head and looked fearfully at the dragon. "Bring us a sample of this pudding you speak of. I want to know m ore about it." Gollip smiled and vanished into the shadows.

"What about the antidote The Power Fur Rangers put into the water supply?" The Winged Ape asked.

In the Gold City High School Brial was struggling as he carried a wingful of books. His glasses were slowly sliding down his beak from the sweat from carrying the heavy load. It was making it difficult to see as they kept slipping lower and lower. And he could not adjust them.

"Hey, beat it geek!" Slash said as he pushed Brian out of his way. Brian was tossed against a locker and the books fell from his wings as he tumbled to the floor trying to stop them from falling.

"Hey," Brian whined and Lisa went over to help him up.

"Dweebs," She shouted at Slash and Ghoul as they were leaving. She helped Brian collect the books and separated them into a pile for each of them. Brian adjusted his glasses then smiled at Lisa.

"Thank you," he replied softly.

"Anytime. LIKE we're friends after all. So LIKE what are all these books for?"

"With all the monsters that have been around lately I've fallen behind on my work. I was hoping to try and catch up." Brian whispered.

"I can totally understand," Lisa said. They started walking off together carrying the books side by side.

"Excuse me," They heard an unfamiliar voice call out. They turned and saw a ginger house cat wearing a dark forest green hoodie and dark green sweatpants. "Can you guys tell me where the office is?" he asked and he stared at Lisa.

"LIKE what are you staring at?!" she asked.

"You're a bird, I've never seen one up close before." He said as she made a Tsk sound.

"You must be new here. I'm Brian." He said as he extended his wing.

"Tom," The ginger kitty cat said and he curled up his paw into a ball for a fist bump. It took Brian a second to catch on then they bumped fists.

"LIKE I'm Lisa the sparrow and not your next meal got it buster!" She said harshly.

"Yes ma'am." he said as he gently took her wing and kissed it. She stared at him and he shrugged. "Can't blame a guy for trying."

"You asked for help, what do you need?" Brian asked as he tried to break the tension between Lisa and the new guy.

"Oh I'm looking for the office. Sorry I'm a little lost because I've never been in a place this big."

"Do all the cats act like you where you come from, hillbilly boy?!"

"Only the cool ones." Tom said, smirking. Brian pointed and Tom followed his direction. Lisa stared angrily as he left then her expression softened and her anger turned into blushing.

Gollip appeared and he had roughly a dozen snake warriors behind him ready to attack. Gollip looked towards a grocery store and he pointed, making the snake warriors run inside and attack the species inside. There were numerous screams as species ran in terror from the store.

Gollip casually entered the store and examined the shelves of food looking for rice pudding. Several containers he opened of random foods and he stuck his fingers in it then used them to scoop the food into his mouth to try. A couple he spat out because he did not like that taste.

"Power Fur Rangers," Zolton said and they were able to hear his voice because of the Power rings they wore. No one but them could hear him. The group was in Billy's Juice Bar and they went into the locker rooms to hide and reply

"Yes, Zolton." Lion said as he spoke into his ring.

"Gollip and some snake warriors are attacking some species in a local grocery store. Transform and get ready to be sent there. You have to stop them!"

"Shabot Ve Sum, Baby" They shouted as they crossed their paws in front of them making 'X' shapes then closed their eyes. They quickly opened their eyes as they extended their index and middle fingers as if they were unsheathing claws. They then clasped their paws together as if holding a ball of energy and motioned to pull their paws behind their backs.

"Power of The Black Power Fur Ranger." Zyler Shouted.

"Power of The Pink Power Fur Ranger." Lisa Shouted.

"Power of The Blue Power Fur Ranger." Brian shouted.

"Power of The Yellow Power Fur Ranger." Terri Shouted.

"Power of The Red Power Fur Ranger." Lion shouted. They then motioned as if they were throwing the energy like a fireball forward. The rings they wore transformed into a gray colored goo that quickly completely enveloped their bodies. The goo hardened and became their Power Fur Ranger outfits that looked as thin as spandex but stronger than the toughest steel. The helmets they wore had made blacked slots where the eyes were so they could see out of it. Their bodies seemed androgynous and the armor made it appear as if they made more muscle mass than they actually had.

They were instantly transported to the outside of the store and they looked in and saw the snake warriors throwing around boxes and knocking down shelves.

"It looks like the store is secure." The Black Power Fur Ranger said as he looked carefully inside.

"Time to clean up this mess." The Red Power Fur Ranger said and they charged inside. The snake warriors stopped once they saw The Power Fur Rangers and ran at them to attack. The rangers engaged by using their surroundings to both attack and defend themselves.

Gollip remained out of the way and he continued his search for rice pudding. He would occasionally jeer as he watched The Power Fur Rangers fight the snake warriors then returned to his task so he could please his master. He saw several pudding cups wrapped in 4 pack packages and he grabbed an armful then vanished into the shadows.

One by one the snake warriors vanished before The Power Fur Rangers could destroy them. They group looked around confused then once the last snake warrior was gone then exited the store.

"No More Power Fur Rangers, No More Power Fur Rangers!" A small group of U.A.P. F.R. shouted as they approached the store.

"How in the tail do they find us so fast?" The Blue Power Fur Ranger asked.

"Time to leave before things get really ugly." The Yellow Power Fur Ranger said. The Power Fur Rangers disappeared as they were teleported away.

Gollip stood with his head bowed as he received praise from The Evil Emperor for doing a good job.

"We should have enough of this goop to begin producing our own version." The Evil Emperor said and he reached out and began to pet Gollip. The twisted little creature was in rapture over his master praising him.

"S-S-S I have some of my warriors producing as much of this slop as they can. I acquired a warehouse under your pseudonym and have developed a label to attract attention to it." The Evil Empress said. She held up a package that had 4 cups of rice pudding bound in a cardboard container. The label had a picture of a smiling deer and it said Uncle Buck's rice pudding.

The Evil Emperor began to glow with a green light and smoke covered his body. A few moments later a male deer walked out from the shadows wearing a black suit with a dark blue shirt and a red tie. There was no pattern to the tie and he ignored the looks the others gave as they jeered at him. He looked exactly like the deer on the pudding label.

"It's time for Uncle Buck to make an appearance." he said as he stiffly smiled. His voice had been altered by his magic to sound softer and more friendly.

"S-S-S Never understood why you turn yourself into a deer when you try to fool those creatures down there." The Evil Empress said.

"Because my deer," he laughed at his pun but no one else got it. "This creature is Prey so they don't regard it as a threat but they ignore the weapons growing on my forehead. By underestimating me I get the upper hoof as I turn the tables against them. " Uncle Buck exclaimed.

"S-S-S Whatever,"

"Trust me my deer, those species will jump at the chance to buy our product. Once they become our slaves we will form them into an army and soon the whole world will be ours." Uncle Buck replied.

"Hey kids, I bet you're asking yourselves. Who is this guy? Well my names Uncle Buck and I wanna show you a treat that only the cool kids like us eat. Uncle Buck's rice pudding!" He said as he held up a package towards the camera. The shot zoomed in so that the product could be clearly seen.

"One of the best treats out there and it's sooo good that we cost less than the regular brands because we want everyone to have that natural, whole goodness our food has. No fillers, no artificial stuff but pure sweet goodness down to the last bit. So go ahead and try it, it's what the cool kids do." Uncle Buck said smiling and the television commercial ended. The group stood in the secret base of Zolton and Clank as they watched the commercial over one of the monitors.

"LIKE why are we watching this commercial, Zolton?" Lisa asked.

"This is Uncle Buck. I want you to pay close attention to him because he is a persona of The Evil Emperor." Zolton explained.

"No way! He looks and sounds like an actual deer!" Terri said.

"No, no, no, no, his magic allows him to be like that. He may act and seem like a nice deer but he is The Evil Emperor and should not be underestimated." Clank said.

"So why's he trying to sell pudding? Do they need money or something?" Skyler asked.

"He may have contaminated it with venom." Zolton replied.

"But my antidote will neutralize the effect." Brian said.

"For the time being yes but once the antidote is used up it's only a matter of time because the venom affects species again." Clank said.

"I think it's time to go shopping." Lion replied and the others nodded.

"Maybe we add another batch of antidote to the water supply?" Skyler asked.

"Sounds risky," Terri replied. "With those U.A.P.F.R. running around, think of the trouble they'll cause if they see The Power Fur Rangers putting something in the water supply?"

"Agreed. We need to b e very careful at this point." Zolton said and the group turned and looked at Skyler as he was holding his head and looking like he was going to pass out.

"Huh? What's going on? How did I get here?" Skyler asked as the others all looked at him.

"Huh, Gollip! Watch out!" he shouted as he fell to the floor and rolled out of the way.

"Skyler are you alright?" Lion asked. Clank took out a scanner and passed it over Skyler's chest then examined the readings.

"Last thing I remember was that Gollip struck me and my suit vanished and.... That's it." he explained.

"You must have been affected by venom. More than likely you were working for The Evil Emperor the whole time." Clank said as he returned the scanner to its place.

"I thought our rings would protect us?" Skyler asked.

"Only while you are in your suits. While you are your regular selves it is still possible for them to cast spells and take control of you." Zolton said.

"LIKE do you remember anything?" Lisa asked.

"Not a thing." Skyler confessed.

"The scary thing is that we didn't even know." Brian remarked.

"Could any of the rest of us be under their spell too?" Lion asked.

"I can scan you all to find out." Clank said. He took out his scanner and prepared it to check on the others. They remained still as he passed the scanner over them.

"Could I be a decoy to get close to them?" Skyler asked.

"That's crazy!" Terri replied and the others nodded in agreement with her.

"Terri is right, it's too dangerous. The Evil Empress will soon realize that her venom has stopped affecting you. Right now we need to worry about Uncle Buck because if his pudding scheme works he may move on to contaminating other foods until no one is safe." Zolton said.

"So what should we do?" Brian asked.

"We buy some of that pudding. We can analyze it and see if there is a way to neutralize it by some other means than the water supply." Lion ordered.

The group made its way to a nearby convenience store and saw a large cardboard cut out of Uncle Buck holding a pudding cup of his brand. They tried to not let it upset their stomachs as they neared it.

Inside the store Uncle Buck was shaking hooves with the store owner. The owner was a large gerbil light brown in color with a whitye belly. His large black eyes were showing signs of happiness to meet Uncle Buck.

"Thank you for being part of our community to sell wholesome snacks for everyone to en joy." Uncle Buck said and Lion watched him closely. The deer turned and saw Lion then turned his head to see the others shopping. He quickly approached Lion with a big smile on his maw.

"Hello youngster, here to buy some of my rice pudding?" he asked and Lion forced himself to smile.

"Yeah, me and my friends are curious how it tastes. To sell it soo cheap you usually have to cut corners. That usually ruins the taste of the pudding itself." Lion said firmly and Uncle Buck forced himself to smile politely.

"Well you're in luck because I have some free samples I could share with you so that you can all enjoy the flavor of my pudding." Uncle Buck replied and he waved his hoof gesturing for Lion to follow him. Lion stayed a few feet away but he followed the deer to his car.

It was a large black 4 door Mercedes-Benz with dark tinted windows was parked nearby. The headlights made the front of the car look like it was sneering and added an ominous air to the vehicle. The hub caps of the car were as black as the car itself and spread out like spider webs inside the wheels.

Uncle Buck pressed a button on a remote key fob of the car and the sound of the alarm deactivating was heard. The trunk then opened at the press of another button and Uncle Buck gestured for Lion to take a couple packages of pudding.

"Help yourself take a package for you and each one of your friends." Uncle Buck said, smiling again. Lion was beginning to suspect that each smile was actually the Evil Emperor sneering at him. The spell seemed impeccable because he could not tell that it was a disguise.

"I know who you are, who you really are," Lion said. And the deer continued to smile at him.

"Well of course, everyone knows Uncle Buck." he replied.

"I know you're the Evil Emperor," Lion clarified.

"Really?" he replied then his face turned into a sneer and his voice changed into the Evil Emperor's voice. "I knew as soon as I was seen that your little master, Zolton, would tell you who I am."

"We will stop you no matter what it takes!" Lion said. Uncle Buck kept getting distracted as other species called out to him and he turned and smiled and waved to them.

"Listen ranger, you are out of your league with us. I've been playing with you and your friends but even you can see that you are no match for us. Zolton picked poorly when he chose you as The Power Fur Rangers. Slowly my net is closing in and soon there is nothing that you or your friends can do to stop me." He then turned to face another group of species and he waved and said hello as his voice returned to that of Uncle Buck.

Nega Longhorn appeared out of the shadows and approached Lion. Lion took up a fighting stance as he saw the creature.

"But we destroyed you!" Lion exclaimed.

"Actually you destroyed a clone I made of myself. What you see here is the real thing... this time."

"Hurry up and take your pudding... I'm sure you want to test it for secret ingredients and such. I want you to test it! So grab some because my monster is going to be a BIG problem downtown in a few minutes." Uncle Buck reached into his vehicle and removed 5 packages of pudding and placed it in the arms of Lion.

"See you around ranger." he said as he vanished along with his car. Lion looked around in panic as he saw that the monster had also vanished. The rest of the group exited the store and saw Lion standing there holding the packages.

"LIKE where did you get those from?" Lisa asked.

"The Evil Emperor gave them to me. He said he knows our plans and doesn't care. He wants us to test this stuff." Lion explained.

"Ah man, you mean I bought this for nothing." Skyler whined as he held up the package he bought.

"Keep it! We can use it as a control to make sure Uncle Buck hasn't given us a fake sample." Brian said.

The Evil Emperor glared at his monster from his throne. He growled then turned his special gaze towards his monster and yellow laser beams shot out of his eyes.

"You my monster will reach the Sky, as I watch you with my Dragon's Eye." He shouted then twin yellow laser beams shot down from the sky and when they hit the monster then he began to mutate and grow as large as a skyscraper.

The Power Fur Rangers were transported near to where the monster was. Nega Longhorn was in the center of a city and there were screams as species ran to avoid getting hurt by the gigantic monster.
