All of the other humans using the dumbbells were noticeably large for their species, hogging some of the weights in the middle of the rack. Ziggs didn't inherently mind that fact, but he wondered if that would give him trouble in his makeshift experiment. Only one way to find out.

While he wanted to jump to an impossible weight right off of the bat, he knew that he had to be able to lift it first. He got into position after selecting ones fifteen pounds heavier than the previous ones. Yep, they were heavy, alright. His face uncontrollably scrunched up as he attempted to heave them upwards. Okay, that had to have proved that he had his limits, right?

He finished the rep to his utter surprise. One moment he was striving to even move them from rest, and then the next they were at his shoulders. He shook his head - not good enough.

He bounded back and picked up heavier dumbbells, skipping another few in the process. It amused him that he even got this far considering the trouble that he had even starting; the first weight was a fraction of what he was holding now.

Ziggs clenched his teeth as he fought against gravity, barely budging the dumbbells as he snorted from his whole body tensing up. It seemed like this was the pair that would beat him, only for his arms to abruptly complete the rep out of seemingly nowhere. "Goddamn it..." He sighed. Oh well, next!

The entire act of picking up a new set of weights to exercise with only to return them because he outgrew them started becoming innate to him. Mental notes were made every time that his current dumbbells didn't reach his apparently lofty goals before going to get a new pair. His testing was the only thing that he paid attention to, not even catching the humans around him occasionally flicking their gaze to him as he dashed back and forth from the rack to his spot.

He let out a sigh of frustration when he was able to lift new weights again. He honestly couldn't believe it; literally every single weight ended up being hoisted without difficulty, regardless of how heavy it was. He was on the cusp of breaking three digits - completely unheard of for a yordle - and was just reaching the middle of the rack.

And then he hit a snag - the next section of dumbbells was gone, all pairs preoccupied by humans. He pursed his lips in irritation. Theoretically he could jump ahead to the next available one, but that was nearly a good hundred pounds ahead of what he just lifted. Maybe he'd have to come back to this later.

It was only as Ziggs was heading away from the rack did he notice what the increasingly heavier weights had done to him. He'd been so preoccupied on testing his limits that he didn't even watch himself in the mirror. His arms had positively exploded in size, appearing comparable to the bodybuilders honing their physiques. To say that he was stunned was an understatement.

Each flex of his limb doubled its size, causing his bicep to show-off its newly-gained split peak, and his tricep to form into the monstrously thick croissant-shape that the humans seemed to covet so much. But that wasn't all as he eventually recognized that his muscle shirt didn't fall straight down anymore. Indeed, his chest had ballooned outward, making the fabric contour around his pecs as if it were near skintight. "So weird..." He muttered. Yordles never got to this kind of size, and yet here he was.
