She sat on the couch watching her brother walk back and forth looking as if he's carve a hole in the floor where he was walking.

"Trigger... will you stop?" she asked softly all most unheard.

"No... some things wrong here..." he said holding in one place since they walked in the door.

"You mean... there's something wrong with me?" she questioned looking at her jeans.

"No, no nothing like that Brittny..." he said looking at her with sad eyes.

"Then what?" she said wondering why he was worried about the stranger that saved her.

"What if this guys helping Jaz...What if he's out for you too?" he said raising his arms.

"He was just a random stranger..." she said in a whisper.

"Who it seems will see you again if you'll know his name..." he said glaring at his young sister.

"Not like I plan on it!" she yelled letting her anger get to her.

He glared at her a moment more before grabbing his jacket and storming out slamming the door behind him.

"Trigger..." she whimpered moments after he slammed the door.

She sat in the silence before she heard a small tap at the door.

"Who is it?" she asked sliding to the door peaking through the small peak hole.

"You dropped something" he smiled shaking her wallet in front of the peak hole.

She made a small crack in the door eyeing the black wolf.

"Might I ask your name first?" she asked still staring at him not able to look in the blue eyes staring in her emerald ones.

"My name mhmm..." he paused before he let out a smooth sigh "My name is Alik" he said with a shy look away from her.

"Ok then" she said opening the door wider not one hundred percent sure to let him in or not.

"Come in if you'd like" she said shocked how weird her voice sounded.

He bowed his head and walked in looking around placing the small wallet on the couch.

She walked in trying to not stare at his long body moving swiftly around the small room his black fur was amazing she noted looking down to her wallet picking it up looking through the few things she kept in it. Her small amount of cash, a photo of her and her brother, and her I.D. She sighed looking after him again only to see him looking up with his head tilted in the kitchen.

"What?" she asked confused.

"What, might I ask, is that?" he said pointing to the pink stain on the roof.

"Long story" she said with a heavy sigh.

"I've got all the time in the world." He said smiling looking at her.

They sat on the couch as she told him about the spill her brother taking her in but nothing of Jaz.

"And what of this?" he asked pressing the side of her neck making the collar appear.

"Nothing." She said looking away.

"I'm not as dumb as I seem I can smell the sent from it and on you still" he said looking at her with his blue eyes.

"Just Jaz..." she said slowly starting to tell him the story of everything that happened.

He didn't stop her from talking he just sat there listening to every word she said. She thought he'd stop her but he just kept staring at her his blue eyes burning in to her own emerald eyes.

"Well then" he said clearing his throat before she could move further then the scene in her kitchen.

She blushed looking down. He sighed before lifting her head kissing her cheek before standing.

"Is it ok if I visit you here tomorrow? Same time?" he smiled glancing at his watch to see it was close to midnight.

"Sure if you'd like too Alik " she said still shocked by his kiss.

"then i'll be back then" he smiled walking to the door glancing back at her then turning to walk out.
