Dragon X Human, Lore Reference, History, Theory.

Many people have many fetishes and fantasies.

The questions of why often come up. Some new fans would indeed be questioning themselves. I may have some answers.

First of all, attraction to dragons is nothing new. In many folklore stories of various pagan/heathen religions, which predate Abraham in religions including Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, there are many not so well known stories of humans and dragons having inter species sex with eachother. This kind of fantasy or fetish is indeed nothing new, nor is it in any way related to anything disgusting. The idea of a human setting aside their fears of a creature so powerful and the idea of a creature being so incredibly powerful, yet gentle enough to not harm the human during acts of passion is indeed an ancient thought as well as a beautiful thought. If dragons did indeed exist and such things did occur, it'd be a beautiful thing.

Most great leaders, usually emperors in ancient China, Japan, Vietnam, and other oriental nations where once thought to be birthed from a human mother, and a dragon father.

In Ancient Slavic Lore, female humans slept with A Zmag, a benevolent dragon. The woman then giving birth to great warriors who often won great victories against the Turks, a long ancient enemy of the Slavic region.

The most popular dragon individuals are attracted to tend to be no doubt the western dragon. Nor would I blame them... The raw power and savage appearance is indeed allureing. Besides being a beast of fire and destruction, or eating virgin maidens, such as St. George and the dragon, there's not much lore on western dragons. Unless... You look real deep into it.

Some things are lost in time due to change of lore However, there are a handful of stories in medieval lore that show a western dragon's more gentle side. There are a handful of stories of human/dragon relationships.

Medieval stories that survived Christanized Europe:

Griselda and the Dragon Troubadour

The Dragon Jilocasin

Melusine, the Lady Dragon

This brings the question... Are Western Dragons truly nothing but fire breathing beasts killing and eating people? Or are they passionate, deep loving, and sapient? Well, I have a theory...

When St. George, a Roman military man and a Christian with the Church of Rome. He arrived in Ireland, he saw that they'd sacrifice women to a dragon. The dragon would devour each sacrificed woman or it would burn villages. He slayed the dragon and rescued the fair maiden only to marry her soon after. He also played an important role in Ireland's conversion to Christianity.

My theory is, the dragon did not devour women.

You see, Christianity values purity, particularly sexual purity as all Abrahamic religions do.

Upon St. George's arrival, Ireland was still pagan land. Pagans tend to not see sex or sexual fetish as something unclean. But welcomed, cherished and an important role in life. It is completely possible that women willingly went to the dragon's cave for a good time. In Celtic folklore and fairy tales, interspecies sex isn't so uncommon. St. George could be a story that is actually a politically changed version of what really happened. Are dragons ravenous, man eating beasts? Or are they passionate winged serpents that'll pounce on you and fuck your brains out?

I vote for them pouncing on you... lol

Not a lore story, but a medieval superstition is this...

In medieval Britain, Scotland, and Ireland, there is a superstition on dragons... If you see one and it attacks, you are to disrobe and be naked. The creature will be embarrassed and flee from you.

This is a true medieval superstition... and being naked is a sexual subject...

I believe the dragon being "embarrassed" and fleeing because of it is indeed a christianized version of an older superstition.

The original superstition is probably older than the Middle Ages and even Christianity...

It is entirely possible that it originally comes from a pagan superstition of sleeping with the dragon to appease it. Damn I wished I lived in a time and place where dragons weren't fantasy... I'd be disrobing before every female dragon and scream "pounce me, ravage my body! I want to explode in every hole you got!" lol

I hope you've enjoyed the fun research I've done on dragon lore... Decoding christianized stories and myths of dragons means finding what pagan tribes thought about the creatures before Europe's conversion. This was very difficult to theorize because original stories are truly lost in time, and the only way to see behind the scenes in stories where picking the few tales and lore that survived, and comparing them to the lore of the dominant faith that changed it all. This meant Christian tales had to be decoded to see what really happened. This is how I formed my theory.

And rest assured, being sexually attracted to dragons is 100% normal and history just may prove it to be so...
