"Your wish was winning the lawsuit, not receiving money." Arioch laughed. "I've granted your wish."
"How am I going to pay back the lions? How will I raise my fawn?"
"You're the first to ever win a lawsuit against a natural disaster," the judge said. "I'm surprised that no one tried so far. There have been a few loonies that tried to sue god."
"Finally." Arioch floated into the sky. He sprouted black wings and conjured a trident out of thin air. "Foxes are the devil, don't you know? I'll take some well deserving mammals with me."
He threw the trident down into the center of the court. A massive rift appeared which swallowed the judge and the other lawyers in the vicinity.
Jane watched as the world fell apart around her. She stood in the middle of a giant crater.
"I'll see you around, my dear." Arioch flew down into the rift.
She couldn't face the lions nor care for her fawn now that her plans have fallen apart, she leaped into the rift.
