"The Negative"

Power Fur Rangers,

Go, Go, Go, Go!!!

Skyler stood still in a secluded area of the city's park and Gollip stood in front of him passing a scanner over his body. Gollip was taking careful notes of the readings and Skyler remained still as a statue with his eyes glowing red.

The Winged Ape approached them as he finished pacing as he watched tro make sure no one approached or was spying on them.

"Aren't you finished yet?" The Winged Ape complained.

"Almost... pitiful, pitiful, pitiful." Gollip checked the scanner a final time then smiled to himself. "Done." he said and he ran over to some shadows and vanished.

"Go to your friends and don't let on that you are working with us." The Winged Ape took out a vial with a rose colored liquid in it and handed it to Skyler. The wolf opened it and drank the contents greedily.

Wings unfolded behind the Ape and he made an incredible leap as he flew off into the sky back towards the base on the moon. Skyler tossed the empty vial on the ground and went to find the others.

"I have the scans, master." Gollip replied as he clung to one of The Evil Emperor's legs. He handed the device to his master and the large dragon smiled as smoke billowed out of his mouth. The Evil Emperor reached down and began to pet Gollip as his slave began to purr affectionately.

Where is my wife?" The Evil Emperor shouted and after a few moments The Evil Empress slithered in.

"S-S-S What do you want? Besides giving me a migraine." she yelled.

"The scans are complete so I can begin creating a Power Fur Ranger of my own. It will still take some time so I need 4 more vials of Venom. We can use The Black Power Fur Ranger to try and use your venom on the others." The Evil Emperor monologues.

"S-S-S if we have all five Power Fur Rangers under our control then why do we need another one?" She asked.

"As backup just in case." The Evil Emperor replied. She rolled her eyes but he did not see it. "Plus, with the scans we took I can make a Ranger more powerful that the five combined. I just need to find a candidate tro receive the power."

"Hey guys," Skyler called out as he ran up to meet Lisa, Brian, Lion, and Terri. Lion and him bumped fists

"We were wondering if we'd see you today." Brian said as he used his wing to adjust his glasses.

"Sorry, I had some stuff to do." Skyler lied. The others did not see his eyes briefly glow red then return to normal.

"Well glad you're here." Lion said.

"How come you guys aren't at Billy's?" Skyler asked.

"Slash and Ghoul were having another membership drive for their anti-Power Fur Rangers group, so we needed some fresh air." Terri explained.

"Is that how they really feel or are they still under the control of Venom?" Skyler asked. The others shrugged.

"It's tough to say because the antidote affects different species.... Differently." Brian replied.

"Like where were you this whole time?" Lisa asked.

"I had stuff to do, but I finished and I'm here now." Skyler replied.

"Either way it's great to see you." Lion replied as he bumped fists with Skyler.

On the moon base of the Evil Emperor Gollip was examining the scanner he had used on Skyler earlier. The Evil Emperor was watching The Power Fur Rangers with interest to see what they were up to.

"Might I suggest we send down a team of Snake Warriors to distract the Rangers? It might give The Black Power Fur Ranger time to put the Venom he has in their food." The Winged Ape replied.

"Not yet. If he gets spotted then we'll ruin our advantage. He'll have a better chance after they destroy another monster. They celebrate at the juice place after a victory. It will be the best time for him to spike their drinks." The Evil Emperor said while his wife was busy in the background summoning her multicolored staff to create her Snake Warriors. They turned into a large glowing green energy ball and flew off towards the planet.

"I have an idea! Get down there and try to separate The Black Power Fur Ranger from the others." The Evil Emperor commanded and The Winged Ape dowed then unfolded his wings and flew after The Snake Warriors.

Skyler was playing Lion in a game of basketball as the others watched. Brian used one of his textbooks as a clipboard as he kept track of the score. The girls cheered the guys on when the glowing green orb crashed to the ground making an explosion.

The Winged Ape landed next to the hole as The Snake Warriors slithered out. He laughed as the group looked started by the noise then took up fighting stances.

"Shabot Ve Sum, Baby" They shouted as they crossed their paws in front of them making 'X' shapes then closed their eyes. They quickly opened their eyes as they extended their index and middle fingers as if they were unsheathing claws. They then clasped their paws together as if holding a ball of energy and motioned to pull their paws behind their backs.

"Power of The Black Power Fur Ranger." Zyler Shouted.

"Power of The Pink Power Fur Ranger." Lisa Shouted.

"Power of The Blue Power Fur Ranger." Brian shouted.

"Power of The Yellow Power Fur Ranger." Terri Shouted.

"Power of The Red Power Fur Ranger." Lion shouted. They then motioned as if they were throwing the energy like a fireball forward. The rings they wore transformed into a gray colored goo that quickly completely enveloped their bodies. The goo hardened and became their Power Fur Ranger outfits that looked as thin as spandex but stronger than the toughest steel. The helmets they wore had made blacked slots where the eyes were so they could see out of it. Their bodies seemed androgynous and the armor made it appear as if they made more muscle mass than they actually had.

The Snake Warriors charged at The Power Fur Rangers as The Winged Ape sat by and watched. He caught the attention of the The Black Power Fur Ranger and nodded slightly and he then ran to attack The Winged Ape. knowing that this was part of the plan the Winged Ape kept blocking and back stepping in order to move out of view with The Black Power Fur Ranger. The other Power Fur Rangers were unaware as they fought The Snake Warriors.

"No More Power Fur Rangers!!!! No More Power Fur Rangers!!!!" An angry crowd yelled as the raised and lowered signs denouncing The Power Fur Rangers.

"LIKE what are they doing here?" The Pink Power Fur Ranger asked as she saw the crowd while locked in combat with a Snake Warrior.

"Dunno, but make sure no one gets hurt." The Red Power Fur Ranger ordered. The crowd kept advancing despite the warnings to stay away that the Yellow and Pink Power Fur Rangers yelled at them.

"What does my emperor command?" The Black Power Fur Ranger asked once he and The Winged Ape were alone. He bowed respectfully as The Winged Ape sneered at him.

From the base on the moon the Evil Emperor watched The Black Power Fur Ranger and he was able to detect the evil energy coming off of him. The Evil Emperor then took out his staff and fired a beam of pure energy at The Black Power Fur Ranger. When the blast struck instead of damaging the ranger it began to siphon off the negative energy and created a monster.

The monster looked like a large black bull with razor sharp pointed horns. Its eyes were glowing red and it glared at both The Black Power Fur Ranger and the Winged Ape.

"Nega LongHorn Arise!" The Evil Emperor shouted with glee as his creature came to life.

"I don't know who you two are, but if you know what's good for you then you'll stay out of my way." Nega LornHorn said with his voice sounding deep and evil.

"After the others destroy this new monster use this vial of Venom to turn your friends into slaves of our master." The Winged Ape instructed as he passed four vials of venom to The Black Power Fur Ranger.

"That's not gonna happen," Nega LongHorn remarked. The Winged Ape laughed then unfolded his wings as he jumped and flew back to the base on the moon.

"Hiya!!!!" The Blue Power Fur Ranger shouted as he struck the last Snake Warrior and it broke into multiple pieces of tiny snakes and slithered away.

"We have a responsibility to stop these creatures from destroying the city!" Slash shouted to the angry mob. He spoke using a megaphone so that his voice carried so everyone could hear him. The Power Fur Rangers stopped and stared at the mod folding their arms across their chest.

"Be cool, we don't want to give them a reason to hate us." The Red Power Fur Ranger instructed.

"Our children and our children's children must be protected!" Ghoul shouted.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here? Something smells.... Delicious." Nega Longhorn said as he approached the crowd. He was attracted by the scent of their hatred.

"We do not support The Power Fur Rangers!" Slash shouted at Nega Longhorn.

"Good..." He said as he inhaled deeping and fed off the hatred from Slash. A moment later Slash shook his head as if he woke from a dream and then fell as he saw the monster standing next to him.

"Help me!" Slash whined as he tried to craw away. The rest of the mob just watched and mocked his cowardness.

"We gotta do something." The Blue Power Fur Ranger cried.

"Get in there and form a perimeter around the monster." The Red Power Fur Ranger ordered then he yelled at Nega LongHorn to distract him. "Hey bull face! Try picking on me!" He shouted then removed his Fur Sword and pointed the tip towards the monster.

The Pink and Yellow Power Fur Rangers snuck around Nega LornHorn and Grabbed Slash and pulled him to safety whispering for him to be quiet as he tried crying out to thank them for saving him.

"Your move, Red Power Fur Ranger." Nega LornHorn said as he and The Red Power Fur Ranger slowly circled each other. The monster pulled a grenade out of a pocket and showed it to the Ranger.

"This is between us, let these species go." The Red Power Fur Ranger said.

"Oh they'll go alright... Go to pieces!" Nega LongHorn jeered as he started laughing and used his teeth to pull the pin from the grenade and tossed it towards the mob. The Black Power Fur Ranger jumped and caught the grenade then tossed it towards The Red Power Fur Ranger. The grenade landed and exploded and sent The Red Power Fur Ranger tumbling towards the ground. On the surface it appeared as if The Black Power Fur Ranger was trying to help the civilians but only he and Nega LongHorn knew the toss was deliberate in order to weaken The Red Power Fur Ranger.

"Sorry bro," The Black Power Fur Ranger said to The Red Power Fur Ranger as he ran over to help his teammate stand up.

"Everyone protect the monster from the evil Power Fur Rangers!" Ghoul shouted and the mob surrounded the monster as the Rangers watched trying to figure out how to both defeat the monster and make sure no one was hurt.

"We gotta retreat. Fall back everyone!" The Red Power Fur Ranger yelled and the Rangers teleported back to their base.

"I'm sorry Zolton, but I saw our only option was to retreat." Lion said as he and the others stood in their base without their helmets on. As he stood there in his Power Fur Ranger suit he could feel energy being transferred into it recharging it.

"Lion, you and the other Power Fur Rangers did the right thing. Protecting those other species is top priority." Zolton replied.

"But they still hate us, Zolton." Skyler said.

"No, no, no, no they don't hate you it's the spell they are under that is making them act that way. However, the one you call Slash immediately returned to normal as the spell was broken on him." Clank said.

"Look at the screen! 7 more have been freed from the spell." Zolton said and as the group watched one of the monitors. They saw several members of the mob appear to become light headed and shook their heads before they ran away as they saw the monster standing over them. The species still under the spell laughed at them as they watched.

"Is that the monster's doing? Slash broke free as the monster fed off him." Brian asked.

"Not exactly. As we said, the antidote may take some time. It's true your friend was freed after the monster fed on his hatred but that is not in their case." Clank said. An alarm began to sound and the screen showed that Nega LongHorn had grown to be the size of a skyscraper.

"It appears as if the monster has fed on enough hatred to make himself grow gigantic in size." Zolton said.

"All the more easier to destroy it and go out and celebrate after." Skyler said. The others seemed to ignore as they watched the destruction Nega LongHorn was creating.

Helmets on." Lion ordered as The Power Fur Rangers reattached their helmets and teleported back to a nearby location where Nega LongHorn was attacking the city.

"Zords Arise!" Lion ordered and in the distance a loud crash was heard as 5 different colored robots began to crawl out of the ground. These robots were as big as a skyscraper and they looked like humanoid knights in armor. They began to run at top speed towards the Power Fur Rangers and stopped once they reached them and the Power Fur Rangers entered them.

"We need the MegaZord!" The Red Power Fur Ranger said.

"Right!" The others agreed and the Zords jumped up into the sky and began to transform and combine ingo the MegaZord. The Red Knight Zord became the body and the Black Knight Zord became the Arms. The Pink and Yellow Zords each became a leg and lastly the Blue Knight Zord became armament for the MegaZord and began to generate an energy field to protect it.

The MegaZord summoned a double sided katana called The Tanto Katana. The MegaZord slowly approached as Nega LongHorn noticed it.

"You honestly believe your little toy has any chance against me?" He jeered at the Rangers.

"Prepare to meet your end!" The Blue Power Fur Ranger replied.

"Not while I have this!" Nega LongHorn held up Ghoul as his enormous hoof gripped him by his skunk's tail and dangled him in front of The Power Fur Rangers.

"Let him go, Creep!!!" The Pink Power Fur Ranger shouted.

"Bad choice of words, don't you think!" The monster laughed hysterically as Ghoul cried out in fear.

"Help me Power Fur Rangers!" Ghoul pleaded as he remained suspended by his tail in the monster's hoof.

"Can we destroy the monster and cry and catch him?" The Black Power Fur Ranger asked pretending to care about the hostage but in reality he could care less.

"Whether it's Ghoul or anyone else, I won't risk their life like that. I need ideas." The Red Power Fur Ranger said.

"Could we teleport him?" The Blue Power Fur Ranger asked.

"No, no, no, no, I can do it but you need to have Nego LongHorn to hold still while I lock on to the hostage. This could take a few minutes." Clank said.

"What do we do?" The Yellow Power Fur Ranger asked.

"We surrender," The Red Power Fur Ranger replied. He then turned towards Nega LongHorn. "OK, you win. We surrender but just don't hurt the hostage." The Red Power Fur Ranger pleaded. He was hoping to stall for time so that Clank could save Ghoul.

"Then you Power Fur Rangers better be on your best behaviors."

"LIKE we'll do what you want." The Pink Power Fur Ranger said.

"What are your demands?" The Red Power Fur Ranger asked nervously.

"You will exit that hunk of junk and give me your Power Rings and once you're in my custody I will release this skunk hostage." Nega LongHorn said.

"How do we know you'll release the hostage?" The Red Power Fur Ranger asked.

"You don't... but if you don't do as I say, I'll drop him immediately." Nega LongHorn sneered.

"Don't!!!" The Red Power Fur Ranger screamed.

"You Win!!!" The Yellow Power Fur Ranger cried.

"Give us a minute and we'll give you our Power Rings." The Blue Power Fur Ranger said. They waited breathlessly hoping Clank could teleport Ghoul to safety

"Now what?" The Black Power Fur Ranger asked.

"Locked on and Ready!" Clank said and Ghoul was instantly teleported out of the monsters hoof and to a safe location.

"What's going on?" Nega LongHorn growled softly as he saw his hostage disappear.

"Time to end this!" The Red Power Fur Ranger said and the others agreed then set the controls to perform the final attack. The MegaZord stomped a foot then it stomped the second then it began to rapidly stomp it feet as it leaned forward getting ready to attack with the double sided katana it held.

The MegaZord ran forward and made a single slash that made the energy of the Tanto Katana amplified by the momentum it had created. The MegaZord ran past the monster it held onto its side as it fell forward and exploded as fragments of its body flew in different directions as they shrunk to their original size.

Gollip appeared and collected the fragment of the monster and shook his head dismissively.

"Pitiful, pitiful, pitiful." He said and then he looked in horror as the fragment he held vanished from his clutches. He searched all around but there was no sign of any of the fragments. He grumbled as he faded into some shadows nearby a tree.

"So thanks to all the negative emotions I absorbed I was able to make a copy for The Power Fur Rangers to destroy." Nega LornHorn explained as he stood before The Evil Emperor. Gollip sulked as he appeared and saw the monster standing before his master.

"Good them with any luck my spy can turn the rest of The Rangers towards our side." The Evil Emperor said. He turned his gaze to watch the group as they sat in Billy's Juice Bar.

"Come on guys, drink up, it's my treat." Skyler said as he gave a milkshake to the rest of his friends.

"No thanks," Lion replied. "There isn't much of a reason to celebrate. Slash almost got hurt as we stood by helplessly."

"Yeah," The others replied and they placed the drinks on the table untouched.

"But guys, we can't control everything the monsters or The Evil Emperor does." Skyler countered.

"No, we can't. This is why we need to be better prepared because we've just been going along not really doing our best. This time that kind of attitude nearly got someone hurt.

"There is both good news and bad news." Brian said. "The species under the venom has all broken free. The bad news is that while they were under the spell they managed to convince certain members of the public that The Power Fur Rangers are the bad furs."

"I'm gonna talk to Zolton and find out how we can better train so we can do a better job. The city... no the planet deserves us to be better." Lion said.

"I agree," Brian said and he held out his wing and Lion placed his paw on top of it. Lisa and Terri also touched Brian's wing. Skyler looked skeptical as the others watched to see if he was going to join iny. He hesitated then placed his paw on top of his friends.

"Power Fur Rangers!" They all whisper shouted as they broke by raising their paws in unisone.
