Anatomical data:
Males: Stronger appearance, wider chest and more developed muscles. Shorter muzzle and slightly smaller ears, yet larger than females. Ram-like horns that spike upwards at tips with sharp points. Human-like reproductive organs.
Females: Gentler appearance, possibly for dealing with young. Horns tend to curve towards front of face, typically without sharp points. Wider hips for bearing young, breasts for feeding. Human-like reproductive organs. Breeding cycle similar to humans, no 'heat' cycle, instead entering menstruation cycles once monthly.
Plantigrade legs with medium-sized pawed feet. Animalistic muzzled face with ears atop head on inside of ram-shaped horns (featured on both genders) that frame the face. Covered in a gentle fur. Hair is common, and comes in a wide variety of colours, from blonde, black, brunette, and even blue. Species posesses a powerful heart, fair-sized lungs and digestive system using acids to break down foods in a stomach. Other organs equivalent to humans' present, including liver, kidneys and spleen. An extra organ, attatched to the windpipe, helps to filter toxins from air breathed. Muscle tone is fairly average, depending on specimin's own fitness level. Tight skin, slightly tougher than human, yet still easily damaged by bullet or sharp. Slight immunity to fire due to fur coat, which has flame-retardant properties. Bones are standard calcium-carbon composite. Haemogoblins of Iron are used to transport blood through body, red colouration. High intelligence, prone to chivalrous behaviour.

Species information:
The Archethal hail from a planet in the Pegasus cluster, temperate temperatures are common, with most winters reaching temperatures as low as -30 centigrade. They were once a violent race, clan wars rocked their very world and almost drove the now proud species into exctinction. Their history books cite an 'angel' that descended from the heavens and taught their race away from their violent ways. Within one hundred years they rebuilt their society around justice, and flourished as a people. Their diet consists mainly of meat, being a carnivorous-omnivore, though they are capable of digesting fruits, vegetables, nuts, and even baked goods. Their diplomatic communications are small, being a solitary species, but they have good connections with the Rindar and -through the Rindar- the Highborn.
Archethal, translated from their natural tongue, means 'Reborn by Fire'; and their planet is named Nu'riché, or 'Bloodied Soil'. These are both testaments to their violent past, and supposedly a promise to future generations that it will never happen again. They are a religious and supersticious people, and are also very suspicious of everything, despite the curiocity that permeates their society. They're a very just people, with laws and unwritten social dos and don'ts, generally they are comfortable with foreigners who are unaware of said laws treading on toes so to speak, who will be given a warning about it for future socialising.
Their breeds aren't so much breeds as different colour of fur coat, and they are so interbred that there is very little difference between the two. Both feature horns and tail, complete with a tuft of fur at its end. Goldenfur are generically yellow, while Bronzepelt are more an oak-brown. Love, as humans know it, is also part of their courtships, and no two pairing will ever be forced together without first trying to establish a relationship. Their society is ruled by a long established monarchy, dating back since before their 'rebirth'. Commonly they have been named the 'touched', as their family is believed to have been the first to be turned by the Angel, who gave them special attributes that distinguished them from commoners. The main distinguishing feature of the royal family, surname Heritance, is vibrant red hair.
They have a great love for good music, and have been known to trade expensive silks, rare elements, and even other music for it. Their greatest weakness, however, is heat. Hyperthermia is easy to get when coated in fur as they are, and their species goes through different rigors as a result. Typically they become violently ill, followed by falling into a coma and possibly death. When they manage to survive, the sufferer will become suicidally depressed while their body checks itself for damage caused by the heat.
They're a fun loving and peaceful society, cursed with a dark history and belief in karma.
