Summer Splash
Would you look at that? A second story in one day. This was a WIP that I worked on yesterday and just didn't finish cause I couldn't bring myself to keep working on it. So I finished it today.

White fur glistened in the midday summer sun as a smiling absol splashed around in a lake. She didn't get many chances to enjoy such lovely days since she was usually busy either searching for food or defending her territory. Which was why she had taken advantage of the bountiful season and was swimming around the deepest parts of the lake, unaware that she had caught the attention of its resident predator.
