The Silver Wolves Passion

Chapter 1

Prologue

There was once a boy who was adopted into the Kamui clan on Kamuykotan, little did both brothers know that their fates had already been intertwined before that fateful day.

13 years later

A thirteen year old young, silver canis therian with three golden stripes, one down his back and one on both sides of his body dressed in the same attire as Horkeu Kamui with the exception of a hooded cloak,

tackled Horkeu Kamui himself throwing all of his weight into his tackle to try and knock the older silver canis therian over.

Horkeu had braced himself for it and slid several feet back in the snow, his little brother had indeed gotten stronger and Horkeu couldn't have been more proud of him.

Over the howling wind the brothers heard their mother calling them home, they made their way home slowly and Horkeu sensed that Amaroq wanted to talk to him but didn't know how to start the conversation.

"Precious little brother Amaroq, you did so well in your training today and made me proud. I sense there's something else on your mind though, is it about someone else or someone's departure from Kamuykotan?"

Kamui asked in a gentle but sincere tone.

He knew that Amaroq had found out someone was leaving but the young wolf didn't know who it was.

Amaroq looked up at him with sad and pleading eyes while they walked.

"Horkeu please promise me something, promise me that no matter what happens we'll always be close and that you won't leave me."

The younger Kamui said, he sounded so small and it was as if he was begging him not to go even if Horkeu himself had no intention of leaving just yet.

"Amaroq my precious little brother, there comes a time when people leave even if they don't want to.

I promise we will always be close and that I have no plans of leaving just yet."

Horkeu Kamui explained, he saw Amaroq's expression go from worried to realization.

Before either of them could say anything else they reached their family home. Heading directly upstairs, both of them took a shower together. Their parents didn't care that they were brothers and they had learned long ago not to separate them.

Once finished both of them dried off and got dressed. The Kamui family ate dinner and when he was done Amaroq was sent to bed early since tomorrow was a very important day for him.

Meanwhile Horkeu Kamui sat downstairs long after his parents had gone to bed, tomorrow Amaroq would become a young man in the Clan's eyes and Horkeu worried about what that meant for his precious little brother.

It would be disastrous if Amaroq got overwhelmed or if something went horribly wrong, with the abilities his precious little brother kept secret from the rest of the clan besides his family the amount of damage would be devastating.

Each year when one of the Clan's raised young men or women came of age they were sent out on a mission to slay the lord of the Barren Mountain.

Horkeu believed Amaroq could find a way to either slay him or find another way to defeat him, his precious little brother was special after all and everyone expected great things from him. When would the cycle end, how many lives had the clan sacrificed to put an end to the dark lord of Barren Mountain?

Why did Amaroq have to be next? Sure his little brother had gotten stronger and his muscles were finally beginning to show results from his hard work. None of that mattered if he died fighting the dark lord of Barren Mountain though, that was the one fear that constantly plagued Horkeu's mind.

The fear of losing the only precious little brother that he'd ever had, Amaroq and himself had developed such a close bond with one another. Ever since Amaroq was old enough to walk and talk, he'd followed Horkeu everywhere and Horkeu had always watched over him even when he trained in the mountains of Kamuykotan Amaroq had always been there.

They cheered one another on, slept together, ate together and trained together when Amaroq was old enough to start learning how.

All of the fear was getting to him and Horkeu needed air, getting up he headed outside to calm himself anyone who stepped outside would have their mind cleared due to the extreme cold weather.

Horkeu Kamui was tired of this life but he didn't want to leave Amaroq behind, his little brother was the only one who understood him even if he was still very young.

Suddenly a rainbow, transient light enveloped him and he was in a completely different place.

The next morning Amaroq woke up and prepared for the day. The sense of dread that filled him was so overwhelming but it wasn't just the fact that today he became a man in front of the entire Kamui Clan. Where was Horkeu, he hadn't been in his bed in their room this morning.

Had he left Amaroq all alone on the most important day of his life?

No, there was no way that he'd do that...right?

The day went on, Amaroq got dressed and had breakfast. He prepared for his long journey away from the village, the only place he'd called home his entire life.

Before the young canis therian was supposed to leave and be bid farewell by the entire clan though. His parents pulled him aside and told him that he was adopted, naturally Amaroq was completely shocked since he had never known.

"NO YOU'RE LYING! I WAS BORN AND RAISED HERE, THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I'VE KNOWN AS HOME FOR MY ENTIRE SHORT LIFE!

FIRST HORKEU LEAVES AND NOW THIS, WHAT'S NEXT AM I GOING TO BE KILLED ON MY JOURNEY?!"

Amaroq screamed, he could feel his powers building up inside of him.

Boiling just below the surface, getting ready to serve their purpose if needed.

His adopted parents tried to calm him down and reassure him that this changed nothing, that they still loved him and that he'd see Horkeu again.

Amaroq didn't believe them and his body erupted in a ball of brilliant light, all of the raw energy that had been building up inside of him boiled over. The screams of his adopted parents echoing in his ears along with many others.

The light vanished and when Amaroq came to the entire village was gone, burnt to the ground and reduced to ashes which were now dust in the wind.

Getting up Amaroq grabbed his things and left the village, there was nothing left there for him now and he wouldn't look back even if he was crying as he left.

13 years later

Amaroq Kamui had just arrived in another world, apparently the world was called Tokyo but it was still strange. The last thing that he remembered was fighting a pack of starving therians in Kamuykotan, when a rainbow, transient light enveloped him and he was suddenly in a foreign land all alone.

That was when he felt it, the presence of the one person he had grown up to love but every time he thought of him rage and anger filled him up.

Horkeu was in this strange land called Tokyo but Amaroq had no desire to see him. Even if after all of these years part of him desperately wanted to but the other part of him wanted otherwise.

A white lion therian in a butler's outfit just happened to be walking by, he saw the light leave a wolf therian that closely resembled Horkeu Kamui. The same clothing style, a muscular frame but slightly less muscular than Horkeu. He had his own sword and three golden stripes, down his back and both sides of his body, everything matched Horkeu except for a hooded cloak surrounding him and the three golden stripes.

The white lion butler walked over and spoke to the young wolf therian.

"Young man, are you lost?

Pardon me, where are my manners? My name is Snow and I work and live here in Tokyo, you remind me of someone that I know but I won't pry.

You have no place to go seeing as you just arrived here, perhaps you would like to come with me to the place I work and live at?

I can assure you that you will not need to worry. The man I serve is very reasonable and generous.

So what do you say, Young man?"

Snow asked, he was surprised at how mature the young man seemed.

The young canis therian looked him in the eye with a serious expression that mirrored Horkeu Kamui's serious face.

"You know Horkeu Kamui I can smell his scent on you, if I accept I don't want him near me and he's not allowed to know I'm staying there. Should he somehow find out I will leave and stay somewhere else, I don't want to see or talk to that Himbo. I also accept your offer, thank you Snow I'm sorry for using such a vile word. Horkeu and I have a past but I won't go into that, it's a very touchy subject."

Amaroq replied, thanking and apologizing to the white lion butler at the same time. Snow nodded in understanding and told Amaroq to follow him to what is known as the Ikebukuro Coliseum.

Upon arrival Snow took Amaroq to meet his darling master, Claude welcomed Amaroq with open arms.

"Welcome Amaroq Kamui to the Ikebukuro Coliseum. I've heard a lot about you from Horkeu Kamui.

All good things I assure you, Snow has explained the conditions of your living arrangements and I assure you Horkeu Kamui will know nothing from us.

Will you be joining the guild and the ranked battles as well, young warrior?"

Claude explained, while he assured Amaroq that his brother would know nothing of himself staying here before asking him about ranked battles.

"That sounds right up my alley, Claude. Yes I'll gladly participate in them to test and improve my skills as a warrior.

I would like to request a match with Horkeu Kamui when I'm ready though.

You've got yourself a new guild member, I look forward to meeting my fellow guild members but for right now I'd like to see the room you had prepared for me while we chatted. Oh I should tell you that I can read minds but I don't do that intentionally, I'm sorry Claude."

Amaroq explained, wondering what some of the other guild members were like.

"What an interesting turn of events, Snow you did well finding young Amaroq here, he truly is a hidden gem. Someone with unique talents and a mysterious background, this will attract more attention from our regulars and new customers alike!

Think nothing of it, dear Gladiator! Snow will show you to your room, Horkeu Kamui is currently involved in a ranked match so don't worry about him seeing you. This has been an exciting meeting, please let Snow or myself know if you require anything and you shall have it! Until our next meeting, farewell Amaroq."

Claude explained, Snow thanked his darling master for the praise and proceeded to show Amaroq to his room.

It was quite late and Horkeu Kamui's match was the last one of the evening. Arriving at their Destination Snow gave Amaroq his copy of the room key and let him in.

"Welcome to the family Young master Amaroq, dinner awaits you inside and in three days your debut match will take place. You can use that time to get yourself acquainted with our guild and your new guild mates.

Oh tomorrow I have some important errands I need to run but I am unable to do so due to a scheduling conflict. It would be a big help to me and you would get to see the city if you wanted to. Just come see me in the morning if you'd like to take me up on this offer.

Just summon me if you need anything and I shall fetch whatever it is you need, sleep well young master Amaroq and have a good night."

Snow explained to his new guild mate before seeing himself out and shutting the double doors to Amaroq's room.

Amaroq sat down to eat, showered and then went directly to bed after a long and exhausting day.

The next morning came very quickly, Amaroq was up early to take care of his personal and dental hygiene, then he cooked himself breakfast and ate before going to see Snow.

Snow had asked him to run some errands and Amaroq was happy to do so since Snow and Guild master Claude had been nothing but kind to him by offering him a place to stay and even a job.

Upon arrival Snow greeted him and beckoned the younger Kamui in and handed him a list.

"Thank you so much for this young master Amaroq, you're really saving my hide here I shall owe you one for this."

Snow explained, grateful that the young wolf warrior had accepted the task he couldn't do.

"I should be thanking Guild master Claude and yourself Snow, you guys took me in and gave me both a home and a job.

I just arrived here and yet I already have a place to stay and a job to do. Just how much did Horkeu Kamui tell Guild master Claude and yourself about

me?"

Amaroq Kamui explained, asking the question that had been plaguing him since the other night.

Snow sighed, he knew that he'd said too much and now he would have to clean up the mess.

"Horkeu Kamui told us all about you, including your unusual abilities.

He didn't think you'd show up in Tokyo Amaroq, please believe me when I say that.

Horkeu is so proud of you, he spoke with such love and affection whenever he talked about you young master Amaroq.

He also spoke of the day he left, how he wished that he could've seen you off on your journey to slay the dark lord of the Barren Mountain. Horkeu regrets being taken away on such an important day in your life, the guilt in his eyes when he speaks of that day is truly heartbreaking.

I am very sorry if I have crossed the line, young master Amaroq. Your guild mate Bathym will be accompanying you today, he's a tall purple therian with two small horns on his head and a yellow eye on his tail, wearing a pink jockstrap. He should be out in the lobby waiting by the main door. You really can't miss him, he's quite a flirtatious fellow young master Amaroq."

Snow explained, deciding that a change in topic would probably be best.

"It's fine Snow, I should get going though there's a lot to do and I need to meet up with Bathym.

I hope I don't run into Horkeu Kamui though,

I'd avoid him but knowing Horkeu he'd follow me if he saw me. Anyways, that's beside the point. If I should ever run into Horkeu Kamui, you should clear the room since things will get ugly between us. With all of that said, I'm off to do the list of errands to earn my keep around here."

Amaroq explained, sighing before he left Snow's office. Snow followed him at a distance to make sure that things went smoothly.

Amaroq made his way into the lobby and saw Bathym waiting by the main door to the Coliseum. Walking over to the purple demon Amaroq smiled at him and held out his hand which Bathym shook enthusiastically.

"You must be Amaroq, Snow told us about you this morning at breakfast.

I must say you look incredibly sexy but not as sexy as yours truly though.

The name's Bathym it's a pleasure to finally meet you~"

Bathym explained winking at Amaroq before letting go of his hand. A familiar wolf came into the lobby and Amaroq sensed him right away.

"We need to get going, I don't want Horkeu Kamui knowing I'm here after all I'm not ready to face him just yet."

Amaroq explained, taking Bathym's hand and sprinting for the door.

The sound of heavy footsteps caught up to them and two strong hands grabbed Bathym causing Amaroq to sigh in defeat and turn around to face their owner.

Snow had cleared the lobby out as soon as Horkeu Kamui had entered, this wasn't going to be pretty at all so it was a good thing his darling master and himself had magic-proofed the entire guild building long before Amaroq had arrived.

Bathym was pulled away and tossed aside landing on his ass on the floor.

"Hey, watch the merchandise Kamui!"

Bathym snapped, getting to his feet and walking over to Snow.

Horkeu didn't seem like he'd even heard Bathym, his focus was entirely on Amaroq; his precious little brother was in Tokyo now too and they were reunited at last!

"Don't say a word Hokreu Kamui, I didn't even want to see you yet because I wasn't emotionally or mentally prepared-!"

Amaroq began yelling before Horkeu cut him off by hugging him tightly.

"Amaroq my precious little brother, I am so relieved that you are safe and alive! You have no idea what it has been like living here and not knowing whether you were dead or alive-."

Hokreu began before being thrown backwards by Amaroq's abilities.

The younger wolf was furious and seething with rage, how could Horkeu just stand there and act like nothing happened?!

"DON'T TOUCH ME HORKEU KAMUI, YOU DON'T GET TO TOUCH ME AFTER LEAVING ME ALL ALONE IN KAMUYKOTAN!!

DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT I'VE GONE THROUGH THESE PAST THIRTEEN YEARS?!

THE DAY YOU LEFT I LOST CONTROL OF MY POWERS AND THAT WAS THE END OF OUR PARENTS AND THE ENTIRE KAMUI CLAN!

I LOST EVERYTHING THAT DAY AND YOU WEREN'T THERE TO HELP ME, ON THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY OF MY ENTIRE LIFE I LEFT THE ONLY HOME I'D EVER KNOWN BURNT TO THE GROUND WITH THE PEOPLE I LOVED DEAD!!

YOU WEREN'T THERE TO HELP ME AND BECAUSE OF YOU THE PAST THIRTEEN YEARS OF MY LIFE HAVE BEEN HELL!! I FOUND OUT I WAS ADOPTED AND Y0U NEVER EVEN SAID GOODBYE I WAS LEFT THERE TO DIE!! I MANAGED TO CONVINCE CHERNOBOG TO BE MY FRIEND AND ALMOST DIED IN THE PROCESS!!

I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO SAY TO ME, I DON'T FUCKING CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING WILL FIX THAT!!"

Amaroq screamed with rage, his entire body was shaking and his fangs were bared in a snarl.

Several heavy objects in the room began floating in place in mid-air, Horkeu knew that his precious little brother was truly pissed off. Knowing that Amaroq had held such a grudge against him hurt, it hurt like hell but there was nothing that he could do at the moment but let his precious, little brother get everything off of his chest even if it put him in danger.

"DID YOU EVEN KNOW I WAS ADOPTED AND IF YOU DID WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!

YOU DON'T GO TO BED EACH NIGHT BLAMING YOURSELF FOR YOUR PARENT'S DEATH, YOU DON'T HAVE THEIR BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS LIKE I DO!!

YOU DON'T HEAR THEIR SCREAMS ALONG WITH THE SCREAMS OF THE ENTIRE KAMUI CLAN OVER AND OVER IN YOUR HEAD EACH NIGHT WHEN YOU TRY TO SLEEP!!

DON'T ACT LIKE EVERYTHING IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD JUST BECAUSE WE'VE BEEN REUNITED!!

WHY, WHY DIDN'T YOU COME BACK FOR ME?!

WHY DID YOU JUST LEAVE ME THERE ALL ALONE ON THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY OF MY LIFE?! EVERYONE WOULD STILL BE ALIVE IF YOU HAD JUST STAYED IN OUR HOME WORLD!!"

Amaroq screamed, the words just kept coming and he couldn't stop them.

Seeing Horkeu again brought back all of the terrible memories of that day.

Bathym and Snow were shocked, neither of them could believe the verbal thrashing Amaroq was giving Horkeu Kamui and with such hatred no less!

It only showed how much Amaroq had needed his big brother at the time even if the young man was adopted he needed his brother, who probably hadn't had a choice when he left Kamuykotan in the rainbow, transient light.

Horkeu kamui stood there in both shock and disbelief, he had not foreseen this level of hatred for himself from Amaroq before.

It hurt much more than any physical wound ever could.

Was it too late to make amends with him?

They weren't blood brothers but he had grown up into an incredibly handsome young man.

Part of the reason he had to leave was that Horkeu had fallen in love with Amaroq Kamui who was only a young teenager back then so it wasn't the right time, plus now that he knew they weren't blood brothers was it possible that Horkeu could be with him in the future?

"Amaroq, please forgive me. It doesn't have to be right away, I do not expect that to happen but I know that I have caused you great pain and heartache.

For that please know that I am truly sorry for causing you so much trouble and damage."

Horkeu Kamui explained, Bathym and Snow had seen him weather the fierce psyho-kinetic storm Amaroq was causing.

Amaroq hadn't noticed either his eyes were shut tight and tears had begun streaming down his face while he'd been yelling at Horkeu Kamui.

The truth was that deep down below the hate, Amaroq had been in love with his older brother from the tender age of ten.

They were brothers though and it just couldn't be back then, now that things were so messed up between them was there even the slightest chance that Horkeu felt the same way about him?

A familiar scent flooded his senses before he felt a pair of just as familiar arms wrap around him,

Horkeu had gotten through his psycho-kinetic storm to comfort him.

"Please forgive me, precious Amaroq."

Horkeu Kamui thought, while kissing Amaroq fully on the lips.

Shock filled the young wolf warrior to his core, he'd dreamed of this so many times that it'd hurt so badly.

Amaroq's tears and the storm stopped before he kissed Horkeu back, everything faded away and the only people that existed were just the two of them.

Locked in a passionate embrace and kiss each Kamui filled with years of longing for the other, now both of them were able to express that freely knowing that they weren't blood brothers.

Bathym and Snow watched on in silence, whispering to each other about the two men before them.

"Did you know about that, Snow? I thought they were brothers but if Amaroq was adopted that would change everything.

Aww, look at the two of them you can practically see the longing both of them hid.

Such passion and longing are finally being made known, it warms my heart to see such a shameless display of love since both of them obviously love one another."

Bathym explained, the sight of Horkeu Kamui and Amaroq Kamui freely able to express their hidden feelings was truly a beautiful sight.

Snow simply smiled and motioned for Bathym to stop talking, both men had obviously been waiting for years to just express how they felt and a kiss would do that and more perfectly.

A loud thud echoed throughout the lobby as a black and purple blur knocked Amaroq loose from Horkeu's arms,

a canis therian in a purple suit with chains on his wrists and ankles had the younger Kamui pinned to the ground growling and barking in his face.

"Horkeu Kamui, don't worry Garmr saved you from the bad man!

Leave Garmr's friends alone or Garmr will make you pay, bad man! Grrrr!

Awoo! Garmr saved Kamui!"

The canis therian whose name was Garmr barked, howling at the end of his statement.

Snow was mortified, sighing and pinching the bridge of his nose the white lion therian intervened and pulled Garmr off of Amaroq while Horkeu helped the young wolf warrior up.

"Garmr Amaroq isn't a bad man, this was all just a big misunderstanding.

In fact Amaroq is your fellow guild mate, please calm down you've interrupted a very beautiful moment-"

Snow explained before being cut off by Garmr.

"Garmr ruined something special? Garmr was only doing job, how did Garmr ruin anything?"

Garmr asked, explaining himself beforehand with tears in his eyes.

Amaroq smiled, Garmr may be a simple good boy but his loyalty shined brightly for those who knew where to look.

"Garmr please look at me, you're a good boy and I can tell how loyal you are to the guild and your friends.

Horkeu and I were just arguing before since we parted on bad terms, I wasn't going to hurt anyone in this building and I even made sure Snow cleared out the lobby when Horkeu Kamui walked in so that innocent people wouldn't get hurt."

Amaroq explained, hoping that Garmr would believe his explanations since he'd pointed out several good points that wouldn't makes sense if he was a bad man.

Garmr didn't this, you are wise man. Perhaps Garmr underestimated you, Garmr is sorry.

Will Amaroq be Garmr's friend?

Garmr asked, although a simple good boy there was no reason not to be friends.

Amaroq walked over to Garmr and shook his paw while he smiled at him.

Of course we can Garmr, I'm your new guildmate. It would great to have such a loyal friend and guildmate. Hey, you know. I was thinking of cooking for everyone. Perhaps you could help me gather the ingredients, would you like that Garmr?

Amaroq explained, he wondered if Garmr would accept or not. Garmr nodded his head and smiled telling the younger Kamui that he would help.

Thank you all, you've been so kind and welcoming. I should get going though since I have to go run some errands and earn my keep around here. We'll talk later Horkeu, I'm not going anywhere I promise. With all of that said, shall we get going Bathym?

Amaroq explained, asking Bathym if he was ready to go. Bathym opened the door of the Coliseum entrance and lead Amaroq out by putting his hand on his shoulder.

Don't worry Kamui he'll be back later, for now focus on your guild work. Amaroq will be safe with yours truly~

Bathym explained, looking back at Horkeu Kamui and winking at him. The door closed behind them and both men disappeared from sight into the crowds of people coming and going.
