Leah heard the soft click on the other end of the phone, signaling the line had just ended, and knew that Devious had just hung up on her. She knew it, but couldn't believe it at first. Leah just laughed back at him, shook her head and left.
Returning to her room and closing the door behind her, she padded over to her mirror mounted on the wall and looked her reflection over. The line went dead.
