Part Five

Jason grins happily as he says, "Let's hurry. I am hungry. Besides, you don't want to keep me waiting for food. Jason grins, "Yeah, it is okay. It is great to have some chips too. There should be a bag of nacho cheese chips in there. If not, the potato chips will work." Luke finds the regular potato chips but none of the nacho cheese ones. So he brings out what he could find and says, "The nacho cheese ones are not in there. So he does his part by pouring some chips onto each plate.

Jason hums happily as he says, "Well, that must mean the nacho cheese ones were finished off. Maybe we can go shopping for my parents sometime this coming week so mom can paint and dad can relax when not working. It would be good practice for when we get to have a house of our own."

Luke loves how that sounds and he can see it. He can see a nice home with at least three bedrooms maybe more. The tiger nods as he says, "I like that idea. I wouldn't mind getting used to that early. Honestly, part of me wants to get a house for us as soon as we are done high school in the spring of next year. But maybe that is still too soon."

Jason takes his plate and hands Luke a plate. The cat thinks about it and says, "Well there is still college if we want to go past high school. But the local college does have great programs that we both have looked into. So if we really want a house, as long as we can find a way to afford it and a child if I really am pregnant. Then I think we can find a way to make it work. First let's see what is happening before we plan a house."

This is how they have always been with each other. Ever since they were kids, Luke and Jason would be honest with how they felt and about the future. Jason is now thinking of their past as he leads the way to the living room. The cat asks, "Do you remember how we met?"

The cat just grins like he always does when this memory is brought up. Jason is settled on the couch with his plate on his lap. Luke goes to sit next to Jason and settles into a similar position. Luke has the remote on his side so he picks it up and asks, "So what should we watch?"

Jason thinks on it and finally says, "I think a comedy would be great. I think there is one on one of the stations." As the tiger goes through the stations, Jason watches to see if there is one that catches his attention. Finally they find a movie to watch and start to eat their lunch while it plays on the screen.
