Two Lovers Alike
The sun rises on the mostly-destroyed city of Philadelphia. Standing on a rooftop was Techie, a hitman to kill off his doppelganger. He jumps down from the building and rushes off, searching through the rubble to find his evil self. It was no use. Just as he stopped running to catch his breath, a car accelerated straight towards him. Instinctively in half a second, Techie unholstered his blaster and fired at the speeding car. The vehicle went up in a blaze, however Techie can make out a silhouette emerging from the inferno. It was Eihcet, Techie's evil self. Slowly, Techie backed away knowing that he will be killed by just a single touch from Eihcet. Eihcet slowly approached Techie, combat bayonet in hand. Techie fumbled with his blaster, setting it to a teleportation mode. He gave Eihcet a peace sign and attempted to teleport away but alas, it backfired. Techie rushed to a nearby abandoned car and with his superhuman strength, ripped the car door off with very little effort. The arctic folf utilized the sun in two ways, one to blind Eihcet and another to recharge his blaster's battery.
Techie then charged towards Eihcet, bending and eventually snapping the bayonet due to the high collision. The collision also sent Eihcet flying towards a concrete wall, knocking the air out of him. Thinking he's won, avenging Philadelphia, he walks over to collect the unconscious Eihcet. Unbeknownst to Techie, Eihcet grabbed a rebar beam and slammed it against Techie's shins. Techie screeches in anger as Eihcet summons a portal. Eihcet walks through the portal to the country's capital city, Washington D.C. Eihcet's plan had a flaw, however. Techie crawled through the portal and used the emergency button on his blaster to put the country Capitol and White House on lockdown under a few hundred feet of dirt, sand, and clay. However, the city was about to be demolished by a missile. Techie saw this, tackled Eihcet and knocked him unconscious. Techie also removed Eihcet's powers with the help of power-dampening cuffs the metro police gave him. He then went out of his way to head to the office of the CIA.
After arriving at the CIA, Techie explained to the guards what had happened even showing the guards Eihcet. The guards agreed to keep an eye on Eihcet while Techie made his way to the main control room at the top floor. He had an hour to hack into the missile mainframe. One wrong mistype and the United States would be in shambles, struggling with crime without a proper government to keep it functioning. He knew this. The CIA knows this. Fifteen minutes pass and Techie hacked into the missile mainframe, the missile being at a high fifteen thousand feet in the air and rapidly descending. Minute by minute, Techie tapped away on numerous keyboards, swiped away on countless touch screens, and swiped right on a Furnder profile he liked. It has been fifty five minutes to the destruction of the D.C. metropolitian area. Techie found the kill code and typed it in during the last five minutes. He disarmed the missile as the dead bombshell crashed-landed just outside the office. The bomb squad was quickly dispatched to remove the warhead from the scene and verify that it was inactive. And it was inactive. Cheers roared through the office as Techie walked through the office, telling the military to experiment on Eihcet and see if he was capable of any world destruction. The military obliged and transported Eihcet to the most secret military base in all of mankind and furrykind. Area 51. The White House and Capitol building was unearthed again as the threat was now neutralized. Techie is now seen as a national hero, offering to rebuild Philadelphia. The citizens joyously agreed and helped Techie out with rebuilding Philadelphia. After the city was rebuilt, Techie noticed the citizens erected a statue of him in the middle of the city. A statue of him holding off a missile. Techie was overjoyed and returned back home to rest as he did not get a good night's sleep in five days, mostly due to Eihcet. But little did Techie and Eihcet know, they are two lovers alike.
