«Mom... uh... huh». He was still half asleep. He glanced at the watch. It said 6:46PM. It was still less than a quarter until that annoying beeping would commence. He decided to snooze til then. But since he wasnt quite awake, Time whent on quicker than expected, and the alarm whent off. He rubbed his eyes with his right paw, while he looked for the off-switch with his right. A long yawn escaped his lips, as he got up, and stumbeled into the bathroom. He carefully brushed his teeth, groomed his short, spotty fur, and splashed some cold water on his face. He looked up. In the mirror, there was a 16 year old spotty dalmation looking back at him. The dalmation had a slim, but not skinny body, and a long, slim tail. Two black ears crowned his cute puppy-face. He did like his looks. Ofcourse, it was hard work maintaining such a body, but he hoped it one day would be worth it.

On the bathroom, he found his clothes, baggy, and a size or two to large. He put them on, and instantly looked smaller than the usual 5 foot 7. As that wasnt small enough, he though, for a 16 year old. He put on his watch on his left arm, and with a small grin, a rainbow-coloured bracelet on his right. «Dinner's ready!» His mother shouted from the kitchen downstairs. He finished some touches, grooming his muzzle. Eventually, his snout caught the scent of bacon puttering in a steel pan, while the eggs were waiting for him. He ran his tounge across his muzzle. A spot of bacon surely couldnt hurt, because he was starving.

In the kitchen, his mother was running systematically around, fixing breakfast for him and his father. His two brothers were still asleep, as their school wouldnt start for another two hours. He quickly fixed himself a plate from the pile his mother was carrying around, and nicked an egg and some bacon. It was a loveley morning, and the sunrise was illuminating the kitchen, bathing it in a warm orange light. «How're you feeling, Boy?» His dad entered the kitchen, kissed his mother, and sat down besides him, awating the food, like any old dog. «First day at a new school, I know all about it» His father had lived in the same town for 30 or so years, so he found that hard to believe. He grinned, shook his head, and finished the last bit of egg and bacon. Before he rushed out of the kitchen, his mother grabbed him, and gave him a big, embarrasing hug. Though he liked her concern, it made him feel like a child, witch he absoluteley was not.

He hit the door after a brief goodbye. The school was a few miles away. «I can easily cover that distance» he thought. He was a bit late aswell, so he started jogging. At his old school, he had been on the sports team, as a long distance runner. It was that way he kept his body looking like it did. After 20 minutes, he arrived at the school. He was hardly out of breath. At the same time he arrived, a schoolbus parked outside the schoolyard, and several people got out of it. They, as everyone else, crowded up around the door, where an old badger overlooked them. He gathered up with the others. The badger, who apperantly was the headmaster of this school, held a long speech on the school rules. After the dreary speech, He called everyones names, and aranged them in groups, after witch, they were allowed to enter the main building. He was asigned to a class in the far end of the corridor. He entered the classroom, witch was bigger than the ones from his old school.

«My name is mrs. Skinner, and I'll be your teacher in Maths» The lady in the front said. «aaw» The whole class sighed, before they all said «Hello, Mrs, Skinner». Mrs. Skinner figgured they should all have a name-game, so that they would get to know eachother better. They started in the front. There was a Mark and a Jen, and some Mike's. «And your name is?» He had'nt been paying attention, and now it was his turn. «Oh!» he looked around, and his floppy ears peaked somewhat «I'm Reece»

The Maths class whent on. There was very little maths, and very much briefing. They were told everything they were supoused to learn, and what they were supoused to do. Reece spent this time examinating his class. The teacher handed out their scedules. Reece overlooked it. There was very many boring classes, and a PE class right after this one. He looked forward to that.

«Psst!» A slim little otter in the back tried to contact him. «Hey, Reece, is it?» Reece turned his ears, but was currently under the teachers eyes, so he stuck with that. «Yeah, who's asking?». The otter leaned a little bit forwards. «I'm Spence. You new here? I havent seen you around» The class neared its end. «Yeah» Reece replied «moved here just a couple of da..» He was interupted by the clear chime of the class bell. Reece and Spence walked down the corridor towards the shower-rooms. «As I said, I moved here just a couple of days ago.». Spence smiled. He was just as tall as Reece, as a contrast to the rest of the school's guys. «Oh, then i can show you around a bit» He seemed enthusiastic. «Sure!» Reece looked him over. He wasnt at all bad looking, actually. Reece figgured he shouldnt toss himself into a relationship without knowing more about his counterpart. He had only just fallen for his looks. «I'm on the schools swimming team, by the way. What do you do in your spare time?» Reece woke up from his little daydream. «Oh, I'm.. I dont really do any sports, i just run around. I used to run for my previous school. We finished second in the state championship» Spence looked up. «Hey, that's really good. We didnt even qualify. Our running team is really poor. They could use one like you.» He smiled «You just talk to coach Davis» conveniently, a sporty Doberman apeared infront of them. They werent taller than his shoulders. «Something, something Coach Davis?» he asked them. Spence took the initiative. «Hi, coach, This is Reece, he's new here. I think he could be a nice adittion to the running team». The coach overlooked him. «Oh, really?» The Doberman smiled. «Well, we'll have to see about that... Reece?» Again, with his daydreaming, Reece wasn't really paying attention «What? Yeah!» he said. «Great!» the doberman replied, «Meet us at the track, its just behind this building, after school.» He passed them, as Reece put together two and two, and figured out what he had just agreed to do. «Anyways, Reece, Why did you move here?» Spence asked. «I dunno, Dad has some work stuff here» He fiddeled with his watch. «I really hope moving here was worth moving from my friends» Reece sighed. With a slur of australian accent, Spence said «Hey, i can be your mate» He smiled, and reached out a paw «Spence Cutlass, here» Reece giggled «Reece Spotty, I know.. Ironic name, isnt it?» He grabbed Spence's paw. The otter had a firm grip, but soft, smooth hands. «Well, it does suit you, doesnt it» He laughed, friendly. «Its a Dalmation name, isnt it?» Reece nodded. His family could trace its roots back to the 16th century, all purebred.

Spence and Reece found the PE. Class, and met up with the others. Another briefing ensured, and then they set about playing a spot of baseball. Reece got a chance to look around the grounds. There was an outdoor pool, a football-field and an oval track. The class whent on for a bit, and Reece and Spence had to run to the next class, Not much happened in that one either. Eventually the day came to an end, and They headed to the training grounds. A young buck was running around the track, while the football team was tackling some dummies on the field. Without warning, Spence slipped out of his clothes, and stood left in his swimming outfit. Reece couldnt prevent himself from looking. As every swimmers body, Spence's was smooth, sleek, but very muscular. It didnt help anything that his swimmingtrunks were very tight. In order to get his mind onto something else, he started changing. Reece had put on his training-wear. It consisted of the ordinary mixture of tight fitting trunks and a loose, very light jacket. He looked around. Spence had hit the pool, and had started swimming back and forth. He glided so well through the water, It caught Reece off guard, and he stood mesmerized, and stared at Spence.

Coach Davis approached him. «Reece?!» Reece woke from his daydream, again. «I'm here, coach, now what?» The coach whent straight on busines. «See that track over there?» He bent down, so that their eyes were on the same height. «I want you to do a lap. See how fast you are. But first, i want you to warm up. But i guess you know the procedure. When you're ready to put in a lap, come over to me, im coaching the Football team, right over there.» He pointed towards the field, where a bunch of oversized dogs and large cats. They smiled and exchanged some words, as they laid their eyes on the little dalmation puppy.

Reece started running. He was just loosening up, but he was quicker than the buck already on the track. Before he could catch up, the buck got of the track, and dropped down in the grass, exhausted. They looked at eachother. The buck gave him an encouraging smile. Reece smiled back, and carried on. After a couple of laps, he felt ready. He jogged calmly up to the Doberman. «I'm ready coach, break out the stopwatch. His tail wagged slightly out of expectation.» He turned to the little dog. «Ah, sure, follow me» Davis headed of to the start of the track. Some of the guys made discret suggestions on his sexuality, not positive. Reece chose to ignoore them. He followed the coach to the track, waited for him to give the signal, and set off.

Reece had put in a very decent laptime, and now he bumped down on the grass. He panted and reached for his waterbottle. The coach sat down besides him, and put a paw on his shoulder. «That there was awfully close to the lap record» he said, astonished «You totally made the team, alright!» Reece panted happily. «I'm here every day, apart from the weekends, after school, but you're free to come here and train whenever you want to.» He scratches the puppy behind his ear «Good job, boy» Reece rolled his eyes as the coach whent over to the footballers. He had sure grown out of that stuff. After catching his breath, he whent down to the pool. Spence was still doing lenghts, after almost an hour. «And he's still going» Reece thought. He sat down by the poolside, so that the water could cool down his pads on his paws. Spence took a break from his training, and swam up to Reece. «How'd it go, Reece?» He looked Reece's shiny fur, indicating that Reece had been giving it his all. «Weeeeell.. I made the team...» He smiled. The otter gracefully jumped out of the water, and sat down besides him «Aw man, that's great!» Spence shook his head and neck, sprouting water everywhere. Reece didnt complain, though, because he was boiling. «Hey, Reece, What's that bracelet there?» He pointed at Reece's pride-bracelet. «Oh, this» He examined it. «This means that I like other guys, it means I'm gay» Spence looked at him. «really?! I mean.. Oh» There was traces of red to spot all over the otter's face. «yeah, I have been for a while now, what about it» Reece was a bit suspicious to Spence's sudden reaction. «Oh.. uhm.. its nothing.. really...» Reece looked at him. «okay.. anyways.. What is there to do around here?» Spence got his mind on other things. «hey, you can come with me, I'm going down to the mall» He looked hopefull at the dalmation. «Sure, I could» The puppy and the otter hit the showers.

They finished showering, and hit the streets on the way to the mall. Spence opened his mouth again, for the first time since by the poolside. «gay, huh?.. I cant say i didnt expect it, to be really honest.» The dalmation looked back at him, scanning his face for answers to what he was aiming at «hmm, well, I do take care of my looks, i guess, and i dont think I'm the manliest guy in the world..». Spence looked down. «I just wasnt sure, because when i first saw you, i though, I hope he's ga...» The otter blushed wildly, realizing he had spoken to quickly. It was out there, now, no chance of turning now. Reece smiled. «Are you really?» he asked curiously, with his floppy ears peaked. The otter nodded, and smiled a little. «Wow! That's.. Thats great!» Reece's tail was wagging happily, and he blushed a bit. «To be honest, I was hoping you were.» He smiled to Spence, and looked him in the eyes. «And it would be really nice to get to know you better». Spence smiled back, and grabbed his paw. «You're the first one to know about this» he said. «I havent dared to come out on my family, and well, I dont know what the reaction would be like, but I'm guessing: not good». Reece enjoyed the softness of his hands «Oh, why is that?». Spence sighed. «Lets just say that my family is a bit.. Chatolic...». «Aw, I know how that feels like. That's my old school in a nutshell, that is. Don't worry, though, I wont tell anyone, if you dont want me to». Spence lifted his head a bit «Nah... I can't keep hiding it. Well.. not from the school, atleast.».

Reece was jogging. He knew it would go faster, and besides, he enjoyed getting sweaty and tired. He arived back home just in time for dinner. «Hey Dad, I'm home, what's for dinner?» His father stood outside, hosing down their car. «Uh, I dont know, ask your mother.» Reece whent inside, and found his mother, over the stove, preparing something that smelled meaty and delicious. «What's for dinner, mom?» he didnt really need to ask, because he could smell the pork-chops from where he stood. «Nevermind that, Reece, How was school?». Reece sat down by the table. «Oh, it was great!.. well after school was probably better. I made the running team and... i met someone» He blushed a little. And hoped his mother wouldnt question him about it. «You met someone? Who would that be?» She put plates and cuttlery on the table «Well... He's an otter, and he's on the swimming team, and i like him, but i've only just met him, so dont expect me to know any more about him than you do» Reece said. His mother scratched him behind his ear «Mom, stop that, im not a puppy anymore» His mother giggled «You'll always be my puppy. And I'm happy for you, Reece, good luck with him... Oh, and can we meet him?» His mother put the pork-chops on seperate plates, and filled up with rice and salad «I've only known him for a couple of hours, and already you want to meet him, Cant you give it a break, mom?». «We're just curious, Reece... I guess we can wait» His mother smiled. «Take your time, Reece. And dont touch that pork-chop! Wait for the rest of the family» Eventually they all gathered around the table, and told eachother about their days. They all seemed to like it here.

At the school next day, despite the threaths from the jocks, nobody seemed any the wiser. It wouldnt seem like the rumour had spread. Hopefully this was the case, because Reece could only imagine what people around here thinks about guys like him.Reece walked down the hallway. He felt younger than all the others, due to his height. He rounded a corner, and spotted Spence. He wagged his tail, and whent over to him. Spence stood with his back to Reece. He hadn't noticed him, but when he turned around, his eyes lit up, but his face was stricken with sadness. When Reece got closer, he could see the red in Spence's eyes. The fur under his eyes was moist. «Spence, is something wrong?» Reece looked at him with his curious eyes. «Hm, yeah, Something's wrong... You see...» He whiped some tears from his muzzle. «I decided to tell my family about you... It didnt go as well as I had hoped». Reece tilted his head to one side. «Aw, Spence, What happened?». Spence sighed «Could we go somewhere else..?» Reece nodded, and brought Spence to the back of the school. The first class had started, but they weren't gonna start before the seccond. The hallways were almost empty, and the few people walking in them were preoccupied with other things. «Tell me, Spence, What happened» Spence sat down, and leaned his muzzle in his paws. «You know i said my mother was a bit Christian, right?» Reece nodded «Well...» He jolted, as the tears came back «She... She threw me out...» Reece ghasped «She said: Pack your stuff, and get out tomorow!» He buried his face in his hands. «What am I gonna do, Reece?». Reece didn't know what to say. He sure as hell didn't want to confront Spence's mother. He embraced Spence in a long warm hug. «I'm sorry, Spence, i didn't want that to happen» He held a paw on the back of the otter's head, burying Spence's wet eyes into his shoulder. «Damn hillbillies» Spence said, muffeled by Reece's t-shirt. «I'm here for you, Spence, I'll see you trough the rough times». Spence was completly crushed, he emptied his eyes into Reece's shoulder. «We'll figgure out something, Spence, It isnt over» He stroked the little otter's fur. «Come on, You can come with me after school, My parrents would love to meet you» As soon as the otter looked up from his shoulders, Reece planted a kiss on his lips. It was a very emotional moment for Spence, and he let out a whimper as their lips met. Reece parted with him, and held him on an arms length distance. He examined the otter, from his eyes, and down his muzzle. «But before anything, we have to get you looking propperly» He wiped a final tear from Spence's eyes, and pulled him into a nearby toilet. «But.. Reece.. are you sure your family is okay with me?» he splashed some cold water into his face, and cleared out the saltwater. His eyes returned to the natural colour, but his cheeks were still red.

Spence and Reece whent trough their classes, without having anything more happen. It looked like those jocks from yesterday didnt spread the rumour after all. They kept contact by sending notes, under the teacher's nose. When the day finished, they regrouped a bit outside the school perimeter. Training was out, due to maintenance, and now they were strolling down one of the many streets heading towards Reece's street, where his new house was. When they arrived, it had clouded over, and it threatened to rain. It was a good thing Reece offered him a place to stay for the day. Spence looked around. «Aw, Thats a nice house» Spence complimented, to make small talk. «Heh, I've only just teatched myself where it is compared to the other stuff in this town.» Reece smiled, and opened the door for him. Spence pulled off his jacket, and hung it up on the rack. Reece guided him into the kitchen. His mother was doing the dishes, when she heard Reece and Spence enter the kitchen. «Hello Reece, and.. Oh, you must be that boy Reece have told us about» Spence reached out a hand «I'm Spence Cutlass, pleasure to mee..» He was interupted by Reece's mother giving him a hug «Oh, Hi!» she said «The pleasure is on my side, really» She smiled at him. Spence immediatly felt in safe hands. «Mom, would it be okay if Spence could stay here for a while.» Reece looked at the otter. «Poor guy's been thrown out from home» Reece's mother sat down, with a suspicious, but curious look on her face. «Thrown out? Really?» Spence sighed, and sat down besides Reece. «It's my family. They're sort'a... Christian...» Spence told Reece's mother about what had happened yesterday, and this day. «Oh, Spence, you poor thing... Ofcourse you can stay here, You can stay here for as long as you like. And there's no tricks, I'm not gonna call your parents, if you dont want to» The sad little otter at the other end of the table looked at her with his best puppyeyes. «Oh, please, dont call them. I cant take more arguing.» Reece laid an arm around his boyfriend. His mother, very touched by it all, did however, set down some basic ground rules for the otter, witch was only to happy to oblige. «First of all, I'm not gullible, so I'm giving you the guest room». She grinned, and Reece died of shame. «Second, It would be very nice if you could help out in the house, every now and then. We all have to pitch in here» She hadn't decided, but judging by the looks of Spence's amitious eyes, He would be more than willing to pitch in. «Third... But since you come from a christian family, I think you know how to behave» She smiled a bit more, as the otter nodded. «Finally, You gotta meet the others. Hope you like fish» It was a silly thing to say to an otter, really.

As dinner arrived, and Reece's family gathered around the table. They were all interested in Spence, and he was very busy telling about himself, so he didnt have time to put the delicious fish into his muzzle. This did annoy him, but he could mannage. Eventually, there was no more fish to eat, and the family had run out of questions. Spence was feeling a whole lot better. He felt like a part of the family. Reece could, however, sense that Spence was running out of things to say. «That was delicious, Mom» He picked up his empty plate, and placed it in the sink. He signaled to Spence to do the same, before he dragged him out of the kitchen. «Hey, I release you from my family's booring grasp» Reece giggled, as they entered his room. «And i thank you, noble prince» Spence smiled, and kissed him on the cheek. «Got'ne homework? I know i have» Reece picked up one of his books. «Care to join me» Spence sat down besides him «I'd love to, I have so much unfinished work» Reece started with his maths. «God, I'm no good at maths..» he mumbeled, and started writing down the answers as if he didn't even think about it. Spence paused, and watched in amazement, as the puppy wrote down his entire 5 page math-homework in 5 minutes. «How do you do that!» he asked «That's amazing!». Reece looked up. «what? uh.. oh.. Yeah.. I wouldnt go as far as calling it a gift. I guess I'm just good with numbers» He smiled innocently. Spence let out an amazed whistle. «That is hugely impressive» He whent back to his own biology task. It was easy, compared to maths. Biology had always interested Spence. «Ah, Theese guys have the best job in the world» He pointed at a picture of a couple of divers. «They're marine biologists.» Reece smiled. «You wanna be one aswell, i suspect?». The otter nodded. «Its my life-long dream». «I cant think of anyone better fit to the job than someone like you. An otter, and a very good swimmer» Spence grinned «Aw, Reece, you flatter me». Reece smiled, and put down his maths homework. He had finished a long time ago «Want me to help you, Spence?» He looked through some pages. «Nah, I'm good». The dalmation ran a paw across his spotty chest. «Uhm... mind if i leave you for a bit and take a shower?» He slipped out of his t-shirt, and stood left topless infront of his boyfriend. «Go ahead» Spence had his muzzle burried in the book. He only caught a glimpse of the fit dalmation, but that was enough to make his mind start wander. He could hear the shower being turned on, and only imagine what was behind that door.

After a moment of unabillity to concentrate, he mannaged to finish his homework, and now he only waited for Reece to finish his shower. Eventually Reece entered the room, only draped in a towel, with his fur shining in the light of the work-lamp. Spence looked up, and his dreaming eyes met Reece's. He smiled at the otter. He knew exactly what was on the otter's mind. «Dont get carried away, now, Spence, I just came here to pick up some new clothes» Spence smiled «I wasnt thinking about that, Reece» He didnt even try to hide his lie. Reece was flattered, and his tail wagged, but he wouldn't jump in the bed with the first and best he could find. He would atleast try to follow the norm, and wait til' the third date. «You're such a cute one, Spence» Reece scratched him behing his cheek, before taking his clothes back into the bathroom. Spence kept close attention to his backside. Where his pointy tail stuck out from between the folds of the towel, Spence spotted parts of his cheeks. His jaw dropped, and it would absoluteley not go back up again. The little wiggle of Reece's hips were just a bonus.

Reece came out, just a minutte later, and noticed the state of his boyfriend. He sighed, but not at all annoyed. «Spence.. Are you there». He waved a paw infront of his vision, and the otter awakened. «What was on your mind, Spence?» he laid his arms around the Spence's neck. «anything special?». Reece grinned, knowing exactly what he was thinking about. «Hey.. Let me show you where you'll be staying» He grabbed the otter's hand, and tugged him out of his room, and into the room next door. «Look, mom has set up your bed, and all.» He looked around the room. «here's a closet, you know.. clothes and stuff» Reece opened the window. «Look.. Conveniently, just outside your window, there's a large tree» He climbed out of the window, and onto one of the large branches. «It leads right from your room, to mine» Spence smiled «That's convenient, actually» The otter smiled, and stuck his curious head out the window. The second he did that, his lips met Reece's in a surprise kiss. Reece jumped into the room, again, and sat down on the bed. «So.. what do you think?» Reece smiled satisfied. «I'm staggered, Reece. This is so much more than i could ever ask for.. I dont know what to say» Reece smiled, «I'm only to happy to have you here». «I find that easy to believe» Spence giggeled. Suddenly, Reece took a look at his watch. «Hey, Spence, Are you any good at running?». Spence looked curious at him «Well, sort'a, but not nearly as good as you» He replied. «You see, I always go for a jog at this time... you wouldnt wanna join me, or anything?» Reece asked. Spence smiled, «Ofcourse, but be nice to me, and dont leave me behind» He grinned. The two lovers hit the door, and started jogging around the block.

Reecen and Spence got home after about an hour. Reece had hardly broke a sweat, but Spence was bathed in it. He wasnt really tired, though. «Oh, I'm used to this sort of workout. Alright, but well.. I'm usally in water, so i dont get sweatty» Reece giggled. He opened the door, and got inside. «I think you did well, this was after all, a long run. Go and get a shower, now» Reece ran a paw down the otter's sweatty back. «I think you need it» He smiled, and whiped his paw on a jacket. Spence headed upstairs, and hit the showers, while Reece rummaged around in the fridge for something edible. He grabbed a sandwitch, and sat down in the couch in front of the TV, and started stretching out. His family wasnt home, so he turned on the TV. They didnt like him eating in the livingroom, but frankly, who was gonna stop him?

Ten minutes later, Spence came down, in a pair of short shorts, and a slim t-shirt. Reece liked what he saw. Spence sat down on the couch. «What'cha watching?» He asked. Reece made a 'dont know' gesture. «I dont know, I never really watch television.». Reece let out a yawn, and rested his head in Spence's lap. Spence stroke him over his head. «You know, my birthday's comming up in a couple of weeks» he said. «I wonder what It'll be like without my family». He sighed. He obviously hadnt gotten over the family calamities. Reece let Spence scratch him behind his ears. «Your birthday? Really?» Reece grinned, and leaned his head back, so that their eyes met. «Well, Like it or not, I'll have to get you a present» Spence smiled. «Aww, you dont have to». «No, no, i really want to, you see, I think you deserve it» Reece stated. «I'm sure the whole family would like to celebrate. Birthdays in this house is so much fun» His tail wagged slightly. «Aw, you mean that? Birthdays at our house was always crap. It was ethnic that, and eco-this. I mean, who likes carrot and wheat cake?» Reece smiled. «Its my pleasure» He said «So, when is this, then?» Spence looked at his watch. «Its less than a week, actually.». Spence grinned. Suddenly, and for one time's sake, he was truly looking forward to his birthday.

They lounged in the sofa until Reece's parrents got home. «Hey, boys» His dad yelled into the house. «A little help, please?» Reece and Spence got up, and outside, where they saw what Reece's father needed help with. It was no getting away from it. It was a large brown box from IKEA. «Hey, dad, what's this?» His father grunted and lifted the box out of the car. «Catch!» Reece grabbed one corner, and Spence grabbed another. «This, is, a, desk. Its for the guest room». They shuffeled it up the stairs, and into the room. «I guess you two can put this together». His father whiped his forehead. «I need a break» He sighed, and stumbeled down the stairs, only to drop down on the couch. The two boys sat left with the incomprehensible instructions, and insuficcient skill. «Hey, we can do this.». Spence looked worried. «I hope he didnt buy that because of me, I dont wanna be a burden, or anything.» He picked up a bag of screws, and examined them closely. «Dont worry about it, Spence» He flipped over the table surface, and figgured out where the legs were supoused to sit. «You know, you're likely to become one of the family, So you better get used to it.». Spence sighed. «I wonder what my parrents would say» He looked out the window, «I really hope they wont intervein with this... I really do...» He sat down with a sad look on his face. «I dont miss them... They are dead to me...» Reece looked up. «Spence, please.. Don't worry about them.» He got up, and held Spence's hand. «You dont ever have to think about them». Spence looked him into his eyes. «Good, because I dont want to have anything to do with them anymore» He put his arm around Reece's back, and scratched him over the root of his tail. «I just want to think about you» He smiled. Reece really liked being scratched there. He planted a big kiss on the otter's lips, and held it there for many long seconds. «I love you, Spence» He said, blushing madly. He had never said that to anyone before, but it felt so right to say it to Spence. «I love you too, Reece». This was getting to mushy for Reece's father, who had been eevesdropping the whole time. He left them to it, and whent downstairs again.

After a long time, interupted several times, They mannaged to put together the desk. It had gotten really late, and it was time to get to bed. Spence had unpacked his stuff, and made himself comfortable in his room, when Reece came in. Spence wondered what now, but he didnt complain, when he saw what Reece was wearing. Technically, Reece wasnt wearing anything, but he had his bathrobe on. «I just thought i'd say goodnight, and all» He smiled, and walked over to the otter's bedside. «Oh, Well.. uhm goodn...» The puppy pushed Spence down into the matress, and kissed him furiously. The otter had his work cut out keeping up with Reece's kiss. All this got Spence really worked up. Reece knew this, but he still wouldnt jump to bed with him. He had to be patient. Reece parted the kiss, and got up. «Goodnight, Love» He finished, walking out of the door. Spence ran his lip across the muzzle. He could taste treces of Reece on his lips. «Goodnight!» They both fell asleep soon after.
