An idea i had to improve tags
An ideia to improve the tags system.
"Cartrige" System.
1. System Objective:
Make easier to tag posts in specific ways and to make easier to search for specific things.
2. Explaning the System:
Basicaly this system would make possible to agroup tags to represent characters and anvironment.
In this system to agroup tags we put them between square brackets (or other characters with similar function) forming a "cartrige". So the search mechanism retunrs results that have "cartriges" with the same tags, but not precisely only the searched tags, inside the "cartrige".
For instance, if you search normaly the tags:
Female, Wolf, Male, Fox
The research will return any result that contains all these tags.
But, if you search with the "cartrige" system, like this:
[Female, Wolf], [Male, Fox]
The research will return posts that contains: Female and Wolf in a "cartrige" and at the same time Male and Fox in other. In other words, it will return results that cotain a female wolf and a male fox.
Now let's supose that you want at least one of the characters to be feral but not specifying. Then you can search like this:
[Female, Wolf], [Male, Fox], Feral
Because what is outside of "cartriges" will be searched in any part of the tags in the post.
3. The problem with this system:
the great problem i see in this system in order to exist posts with "cartriges" it depends on content creators. This problem is not so bad to new posts, it becomes really bad with old posts, because who would edit the tags of hes olders posts to add the "cartriges"? Thies problem would no be so bad at platformos in which registered users can edit tags of any post.
About implementation problens, i don't know if it would be hard. I'm no a web developer.
