Power Fur Rangers,

Go, Go, Go, Go!!!

Lion and Zyler were regretting the favor Billy asked of them. He was planning to open the swimming pool for the summer so the local cubs could have a place to cool off. Billy has a very limited budget so he asked the most responsible of his patrons to volunteer and clean the pool out. Lion and Zyler were willing to help but they had no idea how big a job it was.

"So Billy's willing to let me be one of the lifeguards this year. I may get a couple of bucks outta it." Zyler said and Lion smirked at him.

"So bucks as in cash or bucks as in actual bucks?" Lion mocked.

"Oh, ha, ha, you know my dad's been on my butt about a summer job. This should do nicely in case a...." Zyler lowered his voice here. "A Black Power Fur Ranger is needed."

"Shhhhh, I'm hoping for a quiet summer with as little Evil Emperor as possible." Lion replied as he lowered his own voice to match.

"So the Power Fur Rangers want a quiet summer huh. How about if we make a splash!" The Evil Emperor mocked. The Winged ape laughed hysterically and cheered at his master's pun.

"S-S-S a little of my venom in their swimming pool will spell the end of The Power Fur Rangers as their friends turn against them.

"Prepare your worst my dear because we'll infect the water while the rangers are distracted.

"Pitiful, pitiful, pitiful," Gollip muttered as he stepped out of the shadows and prostrated himself before The Evil Emperor.

"S-S-S what do you know? You white booger!" The Evil Empress said. She curled her snake tail as if ready to strike as she watched Gollip grovel before her husband.

"If you make a bad bet, then you'll get wet.... Pitiful, pitiful, The pit is full, pitiful." Gollip replied. The Evil Empress rolled her eyes as the Evil Emperor rose from his throne and reached down to pet his servant. Gollip squealed with delight that his master was pleased with him.

"Let's prepare for the hottest summer ever!" The Evil Emperor said as he lifted his head then spat a fireball towards the planet. The fireball slowed as it reached a small fountain and began to draw the water into it. The water began to coagulate into a body and as the fire was extinguished a monster with a gelatinous clear body, almost like a jellyfish, landed. Red eyes opened as he looked around and thin blue veins sprouted inside the clear body.

"Summer heat got you down?" It asked with its voice sounding like a used car salesfur. "Then try Flood Buddy!" It said as the tone took on a more omnivorous and evil nature. The monster teleported tgo the lair on the moon.

"Need a refreshing drink? Try Flood Buddy"

"Once my venom is ready you can place it in the swimming pool and those miserable creatures will be under my control." The Evil Empress explained.

"Why wait, when you can act now?!" Flood Buddy said.

"I get it! If we tamper with the water supply, we can infect more than just the cubs swimming in the pool." The Winged Ape explained.

"Ambitious, but you need to make sure the Power Fur Rangers don't know about it." The Evil Emperor said. Flood Buddy began to change his form until he looked exactly like Lion.

"I've learned the importance of regularly changing my motor oil." Flood Buddy said in Lion's voice. The Evil Empress hurried off to finish her venom so they could contaminate the Gold City's water supply.

Lion walked angrily towards the entrance of the water treatment plant. A checkpoint had been set up at the entrance With a guard's booth and a movable barrier set in place to prevent vehicles from driving in without first receiving clearance.

The guard was a squirrel and he had the name tog Bucky on his uniform. He stepped out of the booth and approached Lion.

"Excuse me son, this area is off limits." Bucky said and Lion turned and smiled at him.

"But Wait, if you act in the next 30 seconds you can get this fabulous prize!" Lion said and Snake Warriors materialized from behind him and charged at the security guard.

In the secret lair of the Power Fur Rangers, An alarm was going off as Clank checked the monitors.

"No, no, no, no, Lion is attacking the water treatment plant with some snake warriors." Clank whined.

"Check again Clank, if you freeze the footage right here," Zolton used the panel in his containment unit to reveal that at the moment the Snake Warriors appeared that Lion's eyes began to glow red. "It is obviously an imposter. Contact The Power Fur Rangers!" He ordered and Clank sent a message to them as they spoke into their Power Rings. The monitor showed the team standing together as they waited to receive orders from Zolton.

"Power Fur Rangers, a new monster has been sent by The Evil Emperor. Be careful because it has the ability to change shape and went to the water treatment plant looking exactly like Lion." Clank explained. Lion flinched as he heard his name being called and the rest looked at each other with concern.

"We're on it, Zolton!" Lion shouted.

"Shabot Ve Sum, Baby" They shouted as they crossed their paws in front of them making 'X' shapes then closed their eyes. They quickly opened their eyes as they extended their index and middle fingers as if they were unsheathing claws. They then clasped their paws together as if holding a ball of energy and motioned to pull their paws behind their backs.

"Power of The Black Power Fur Ranger." Zyler Shouted.

"Power of The Pink Power Fur Ranger." Lisa Shouted.

"Power of The Blue Power Fur Ranger." Brian shouted.

"Power of The Yellow Power Fur Ranger." Terri Shouted.

"Power of The Red Power Fur Ranger." Lion shouted. They then motioned as if they were throwing the energy like a fireball forward. The rings they wore transformed into a gray colored goo that quickly completely enveloped their bodies. The goo hardened and became their Power Fur Ranger outfits that looked as thin as spandex but stronger than the toughest steel. The helmets they wore had made blacked slots where the eyes were so they could see out of it. Their bodies seemed androginous and the armor made it appear as if they made more muscle mass than they actually had.

A white light enveloped them as they were teleported to the entrance of the water park. The snake warriors ran around and kept Bucky trapped in his security booth. The Red Power Fur Rangers pointed and gave orders to the others as they proceeded to charge into battle to save Bucky.

The Black Power Fur Ranger ran to the security booth and jumped kicked a snake warrior then ran over him as it laid on the ground from the attack. The snake warrior remained stunned as The Black Power Fur Rangers continued to try and save Bucky. He ran to the entrance of the guard shack.

"Hey are you alright?" TheBlack Power Fur Ranger asked. He was immediately kicked as Bucky stepped out from it. His eyes began to glow red and The Black Power Fur Ranger saw the real Bucky tied up and sitting on the floor gagged.

"Two for the price of one," The fake Bucky said as his appearance changed into Flood Buddy.

The Pink Power Fur Ranger kicked the last snake warrior in the head and it fell and broke into multiple snakes that slithered off in different directions. The others ran and joined her as they faced the monster.

"We're slashing prices in half." Flood Buddy jeered at The Power Fur Rangers.

"You wanna be slashed? You got it!" The Blue Power Fur Rangers shouted and he jumped and kicked towards the monster. The Blue Power Fur Ranger's body went completely through Flood Buddy's body as if the monster was translucent. He landed on the ground and looked up in surprise as the monster stomped his foot on him and the impact struck him in a brilliant spray of sparks.

"What the?" The Black Power Fur Ranger exclaimed and he ran at the monster and tried to punch it but his fist passed through Flood Buddy as if it were an apparition. The monster was untouched then it punched The Black Power Fur Ranger sending it flying backward in another explosion. The Red Power Fur Ranger looked in astonishment and ran over and began to try punching the monster. Flood buddy stood there laughing as the pounches went through him harmlessly.

"Just do it!" Flood Buddy said as it punched The RedPower Fur Ranger and his puch exploded on his chest and The Red Power Fur Ranger rolled towards the others.

"Our attacks aren't doing anything" The Yellow Power Fur Ranger said.

"LIKE they just go right through it." The Pink Power Fur Ranger said.

"Back to base we need a new plan." The Red Power Fur Ranger ordered. The Power Fur Rangers teleported back to their secret lair.

"Our attacks went right through him as if he wasn't there." Zyler said as the team faced Zolton. The Power Fur Rangers had their helmets off and their weary faces showed how tired they were from the last battle.

"He had no problem attacking us." Terri said.

"It seems The Evil Emperor gave his monster the power to phase through time and space." Zolton explained.

"How can we fight something like that?" Brian asked.

"No, no, no, no, this is not the first time that The Evil Emperor has done something like this. Because of it we have created power weapons that can hit the monster no matter how it shifts." Clank said and he brought up a screen on the monitor showing various weapons.

"On the screen choose a weapon you would most likely be comfortable using and it will become your own personal weapon. Be careful once you choose it you cannot change your mind later." Zolton explained. Each of them went to the monitor and examined the weapons and after each had chosen a weapon they returned to face Zolton.

"Now hold out your paws and call upon your weapons.

"Fur Axe." Zyler shouted and a black colored axe with lightning symbols on it appeared in his paw.

"Fur Bow." Lisa said and a pink bow with the same markings appeared in his wing.

"Fur Staff." Brian had a blue staff appear with sharp points sticking out the end.

"Fur Daggers." Terri called out twin yellow daggers with long blades and a metal strip that curved from the guard to the handle to protect the user's fingers.

"Fur Sword." Lion shouted and a red handled sword appeared with a double bladed sword with curved guard that had the ends pointing towards the blade.

"No, no, no, no, I'll need time to fully calibrate them. However, you better get down there before that monster contaminates the water supply.

"Should I stay here and work on an antidote?" Brian asked.

"That is an excellent idea. I'll send you the research we have on the poison The Evil Empress uses."

"Come on team, helmet up!" Lion ordered as The Power Fur Ranger's helmets were placed instantly back on their faces and they teleported back to the water treatment plant.

Flood Buddy approached a large tank of water with the top exposed. He stood at the edge holding a bottle of a yellow glowing colored liquid that appeared to be swirling within the vial. Flood Buddy prepared to open the vial when The Power Fur Rangers ran in.

"Not so fast!" The Red Power Fur Ranger shouted. The monster was abruptly startled and stopped as he turned to face them.

"Free refilled with every purchase." Flood Buddy shouted as it charged at The Power Fur Rangers. They immediately called upon their weapons and it looked and laughed at them.

"Better luck next time." He said as he ran at The Red Power Fur Ranger. The Red Power Fur Ranger raised and slashed at the monster with his Fur Sword and the blade struck the monster and the impact exploded in an explosion of sparks. Flood Buddy fell to the ground and rolled away as the vial flew out of its hand.

"Tough on grease." Flood Buddy replied as he stood up to face The Power Fur Rangers.

"LIKE give it up or you'll be sent back to your master in pieces." The Pink Power Fur Ranger said as she drew back on the bow and an arrow made of pink energy appeared in the arrow rest part of the bow. The others looked at her and shrugged at the wasted pun opportunity

"Time to dry up this drip." The Yellow Power Fur Ranger said as if to cover for her teammate.

"Watch this grease go down the drain." The Black Power Fur Ranger said, trying to join in.

"Get ready for a dry summer." The Red Power Fur Ranger said.

What The Power Fur Rangers failed to notice was that Gollip appeared out of the shadows and took the vial into his hand. He carefully crept towards the water tank. He chuckled silently as he emptied the vial into water while The Power Fur Rangers had no idea. Once he accomplished his mission he stepped back into the shadows.

"HA!!! I told you their overconfidence would be their own undoing! Now that Gollip has completed the mission there is no further use for Flood Buddy." The Evil Emperor said as he rose from his throne and walked off to his chamber.

"So what happens now, my lord?" The Winged Ape asked. The Evil Empress slithered in with his eyes gleaming.

"S-S-S Once the species drink the water they will become my servants. I will turn them against The Power Fur Rangers and once they shut The Power Fur Rangers down, we will then conquer the planet." She said,

"Gollip, did good, mistress?" Gollip asked as he appeared and began to kiss the hem of her gown. She looked down in disgust at him and used her snake tail to swap him away from her.

"Vile creature." She said,

"Pitiful, pitiful, pitiful." Gollip said as he vanished into the shadows again.

The Blue Power Fur Ranger teleported to join the others holding a large canister. The other's greeted him as he joined them.

"I got an antidote, am I in time?" He asked.

"We stopped this creature before he could use the venom." The Red Power Fur Ranger told him. The Blue Power Fur Ranger breathed a sigh of relief.

"Then we won't be needing this, I'll send it back to our lair." The Blue Power Fur Ranger said and the canister was teleported away.

"Take two of these and the pain goes away." Flood Buddy said as snake warriors materialized and charged at the rangers. The Blue Power Fur Ranger drew his Fir Staff and used it to attack the snake warriors as the others used their own personal weapons on them.

"Like chopping tree branches." The Black Power Fur Ranger mocked as he used his Fur Axe to destroy one of the snake warriors. It shattered into multiple snakes that quickly slithered away and dematerialized.

"Hey look!" The Yellow Power Fur Ranger shouted as Flood Buddy changed form and tried to make an escape disguised as Lisa.

"LIKE not on my watch!" The Pink Power Fur Ranger shouted as she drew and arrow into her bow and fired it at the imposture. The fake image of her disappeared as it exploded in a shower of sparks. Flood Buddy rose and his red eyes glared at The Power Fur Rangers.

"Power Fur Rangers," The voice of Zolton echoed in the earpieces of their helmets. "Clank has finished configuring your Power Fur Weapons. You can combine them into a powerful laser blaster to finish off this monster." Zolton explained. An image appeared in their helmets showing them how to combine their weapons as they instantly had the knowledge on how to do it.

"Combine Power Fur Weapons!" The Red Power Fur Ranger ordered.

"Right!" The others replied as he held their personal Fur weapons.

"Fur Axe." The Black Power Fur Ranger said as he threw his Ax into the air and it transformed into gun stock with the ax head turning into a gun handle.

"Fur Bow." The Pink Power Fur Ranger said as she threw her Fur Bow up to where the Fur Axe remained suspended. The bow began to transform as it attached itself to the axe the long way with two small arrows becoming sights used to aim.

"Fur Staff," The Blue Power Fur Ranger shouted as he tossed his staff into the air and it transformed into a large arrow that set itself on top of the bow.

"Fur Daggers," The Yellow Power Fur Ranger shouted and she tossed her Fur Daggers up and they transformed and attached themselves to the tip of the arrow and began to spin around like saw blades on the left and the right of the arrow.

"Fur Sword," The Red Power Fur Ranger tossed up his sword and it attached itself to the top of the arrow and spun around as if it was a drill bit. The weapon landed in the paws of The Red Power Fur Ranger as the others stood behind him.

"Fire!" The Power Fur Rangers shouted as a laser beam shot out immobilizing the monster as the large arrow shot out and cut a path through it. The Power Fur Rangers watched as a large hole appeared in the chest of Flood Buddy and it fell backward and exploded with various fragments being scattered about.

Gollip appeared and gathered a piece of the monster and vanished back into the shadows as it muttered to himself. The Power Fur Rangers separated their weapon from the blaster.

Back at Billy's Juice Bar the group was relaxing drinking their favorite health shakes. Lion sat in his seat with his arms folded across his chest with a stern expression on his face.

"Come on, Lion, we won, it's time to celebrate!" Zyler said as he slapped the lion on his back. The others turned to look at him questioningly as they wondered why he seemed so upset.

"We got lucky this time. If this was a taste of what The Evil Emperor has in store, we need to be better prepared because who knows what they'll try next?" Lion said stolicly.

"He has a point," Terri said after making a few clicking noises.

"Or... you could be overreacting. Look, so far Zolton and Clank have come through for us," Brian cleared his throat. "With a little help from Brian. I have confidence we can face whatever comes our way." Zyler said.

"I'm just saying we need to be more careful. Did anyone realize that The Evil Emperor did not make that monster grow? It's like he gave up for some reason and left the monster to be destroyed." Lion said.

"LIKE maybe because with our new Fur weapons he lost the advantage?" Lisa said.

"Maybe," Lion replied skeptically.

"You don't think so?" Terri asked.

"Something doesn't feel right, it might be nothing but even if we won it doesn't feel like it." Lion explained.

"Bro you need to lighten up!" Zyler said and he looked to the others for support but Lion's mood had been passed unto them as well.

Slash and Ghoul entered the Juice Bar and Slash raised his sunglasses as he stared at the group. His eyes flashed red as he watched them then tapped Ghoul's arm and he turned with his eyes briefly glowing red as he watched them.

"Destroy The Power Fur Rangers!" Slash said.

"Destroy The Power Fur Rangers!" Ghoul agreed as they sneered at them unaware.
