Hello! I'm going to write a journal to explain the story of Mona's curse for those who are interested. I'll update the journal story as I release chapters that will flesh out the story and its content in transformation! Thank you !

Chapter One : the beginning

We see Mona who has finished her hard day's work. She starts to look at the full moon which seems to attract her. She looks intensely at the full moon which eventually begins its transformation.

To understand this beginning, it's not just something I put like this at the beginning. Maybe it is ! But I ended up fleshing out the story as I work on this manga.

Celestia, goddess of the moon is trying to restore a kingdom of Lycans and were-creatures of all kinds.

She had lost her kingdom a long time ago. Long before the Archon war. So when Mona looked at the moon so intensely, it was a kind of call from Celestia who chose Mona to be her first Lycan and made sure she received her blessing or curse as the case may be!

She hopes that Mona will join her cause and found her kingdom that she so desires! Mona as the first lycan of a new lineage. The Alpha Lycan!

Chapter Two : the trouble starts

We find Mona lying naked in the forest. She looks completely lost and doesn't understand what happened to her.She goes home thanks to her teleportation spell, gets dressed and goes to do some research on the why and how of this curse.But too late, while she understood some bits on this curse the full moon is back and hits Mona hard and so begins again her transformation.

In Mona's book and the explanations she gives, Celestia seeks to re-establish a new kingdom. This kingdom where only Celestia reigns over the world of Teyvat and had as subject Lycans main citizen of her kingdom who constituted the major part of its population and who received the blessing of Celestia herself.

We have other werecreatures like weredragons, werebat, werefox etc... But they are less important in the kingdom of Celestia because they are considered inferior because they are not of the lineage of Lycans.And then at the bottom of the ladder we have the humans, fragile beings but useful to work in the fields or for the constructions.

Sometimes a human can become a Lycan if Celestia deems him worthy but very rare and very often they end up dying of fatigue because of work or illness. So how do werecreature reproduce? Just like humans! Sex of course. A pure lycan will always go with another lycan to perpetuate the lineage but there has never been inter-species love because it is forbidden and very prohibited.

About the transformation of humans into werecreature. A lycan can bite a human to transform him, but it is not necessary that he becomes a lycan. He can become a weredragon, werefox or simply die if he can't stand it! In general the bite often leads to the transformation into a diverse werecreature but sometimes another lycan can come out of it because this one will be considered pure.

We don't know why this process is like this but some say that it reacts to the blood of the host and its former lineage. Mona can be descended from an old line of Lycans from thousands of years ago, who knows?

If a common werecreature bites a human, it will turn into the creature that bit it. He can never become a lycan but into the creature that bit him. A werecreature that comes out of it can recognize a lycan even in its human form and will never attack it.

It is engraved in his blood.Mona is the only lycan for the moment, but maybe one day she will find someone who will become a lycan in her turn! Unless Celestia does her work?

Contamination of humans to make them diverse and varied subjects is very easy. A simple bite is enough for the victim to convulse and transform almost instantly. Slime and body fluids can also be a vector of transformation of the contaminated as well as a banal scratch can quickly become a source of transformation!

The transformation will take longer if the Lycan is in human form and bites a victim in that form. The transformation can take several moments before the victim feels the first effects.The transformation is very slow and painful for the victim when it is the first time.

At this stage the victim is completely lost and wants it to stop as soon as possible. He can try to resist but his ordeal will be even more painful.

You can't stop a transformation in progress, at least no one has managed to do so. Usually the victim does not remember what he did last night and wakes up with a huge headache and the urge to vomit.

We have also seen rare cases where the victim can't control himself and can transform in the middle of a street if for example he feels something that excites him!

The victim can also lose control. Sometimes his bestial urges are too strong at certain times of the day and can attack people and bite them if the urge takes him! Maybe it's an effect of stress or a secret urge to fuck someone who is dear to him but totally unattainable?

Experienced lycans have mastered their transformation and are able to transform whenever they want. Often the novice Lycan or other were creature transforms at night when the full moon is in the sky.Their bestial urges take over and it is very difficult to resist the call of the moon and therefore Celestia itself!

A human can escape his transformation if he hides away from the lunar rays that do not touch him! But his night can be a real ordeal for him.Sweating, sexual urge increased tenfold, the desire to attack someone.

Sometimes the person can get sick! With willpower the infected person can resist his transformation but he won't be able to do this every night.

There will be a time when his bestial urges will be too strong and even an experienced lycan is forced to transform several times a month. It is said that Celestia has a werewolf form but no one has ever seen it with her own eyes, maybe a legend ?
