[Infinite Head Quarters. Year 3,586, Monday November 23rd, 3:40AM. The Shadow Gate]
"Your madness ends here, shadow master."The Justicar said confidently
Xoro'tanth quickly turned around, the black and purple portal crackled with energy behind him but before answering the Justicar he turned his head backwards to face the portal in his very subordinate torn. "Yes, milord I will eliminate them immediately!"he said quickly to the swirling vortex
Without warning Liken leaped from her position but the Shadow master lifted into the air up above the two heroes and held his staff with pride. "You are too late champions; this realm of mortality will belong to its true master in just a few moments the Grandfather shall devour all life in this plane! I am Shadow master Xoro'tanth, hand of the Grandfather!"
Shadow master Xoro'tanth flipped his staff around to build up his dark magic before firing a bolt of purple lighting at the two to finish off the annoyances once and for all but to his disappointment the attack failed as the Justicar protected the both of them with a black force field.
"What is this!"the shadow master angrily said
"Lay down your arms, zealot, the organic here is protected by my powers!"Lord Khaos answered his voice echoed out of Arjun's helmet.
"Lord Khaos, you're supposed to be dead! But this is no consequence, the Grandfather will personally enjoy adding your energy too his own!"
Like before the shadow master spun his staff around to launch anther purple projectile from up above as Liken kept quiet and tried to flank the floating darkspawn who cursed every time the Justicar blocked or dodged his magic.
She got low to the ground waiting for Xoro'tanth to drop his altitude along with thinking every painful way she was going to mutilate him. When the Justicar used his sword to absorb anther one of his projectiles Liken leaped from the ground onto the Shadow master's back pulling him back to earth. "This is for Sepress Prime!"Liken roared and slashed at the metal casing that covered his entire upper head. The half helmet fell over to reveal it didn't hide anything but the missing top half of the shadow master.
"This is for my people!"She yelled again and impaled the delicate magic user with her claw straight through his chest.
"And this is for Zhakaev!"Liken roared for the final time before devouring the darkspawns'head with her mouth crushing what was left of his skull between her teeth then ripping the rest off from his neck and swallowed it whole.
The Justicar looked away so he wouldn't throw up in his helmet; he turned to the large gate that was starting to fall apart as the Void God Pandemonium was coming through. "This is my stop, organic."Lord Khaos stated
"What? You're going to close it by yourself?"Arjun asked as purple lightning shot from various points within the portal striking random locations causing the target area to be completely engulfed in a purple flame.
"You have proven to be a capable transport, the powers of the Shadow master kept me from entering the gate in the first place. Once inside I can shut down the gate, never to be used again."
"Wouldn't the Pandemonium have a problem with that?"
"I will be killed yes, but I die today so that this realm will live. It is a pleasure knowing that organics are not completely useless."Said Lord Khaos who gave a backhanded compliment.
"You too"Arjun said. The infinite lord left his body, without any visual warning the gate began completely falling apart as a giant battle waged on the other side, the swirling vortex grinded to a halt as it became fully shut down, but not before it launched a purple bolt right at the remains of Xoro'tanth.
The Shadow master's body rose from the flames, his skin was melting away and his body falling apart but it still stood up some how. The purple haze that hung around it intensified so much that his body disappeared in the smoke, the corpse rose into the air and began to transform into something much darker. Xoro'tanth's skull was rebuilt; his old brittle body was now that of his youth, his yellow toothpick like teeth became large white fangs, even armor plating began to form around his body then became infused with it.
The haze disappeared and the corpse landed on the floor to reveal a very large demonic humanoid like creature, its black plating made up its abstract body while its head was a floating horned skull with fangs.
"Holy fuck"said the Justicar with fear
"By the moons what is it?"Liken asked to the Justicar who properly didn't know more than she did.
"My guess it's a "fuck you"from Pandemonium for blowing up his gate."Arjun answered as the demon inched closer to them who continued to fall back.
The avatar of Void God Pandemonium began running to the heroes as it disappeared in a cloud of black smoke then reappearing closer as it reformed back into reality. Liken's fear turned to anger and charged the demigod. As the avatar reformed back into reality for the final time, smoke formed around its right hand to form the shape of a gruesome sword, and then in a flash it took shape before becoming physical. "Wait!"shouted out Arjun as the valgary pounced at the avatar but it was too late the black plated creature from hell quickly dealt a mortal wound to the valgary by cutting a huge wound in her chest and severing her arm and tail in one fell swoop.
The monster didn't slow down, it continued running at the Justicar with its dark blade dragging across the floor creating black sparks to fly every where. Screaming, the Justicar ran at his foe with both hands around his blade and struck as the avatar lifted it's blade up with one hand to parry the Justicar full on assault.
The Justicar struggled to match the monster's strength that was only using one hand and didn't show any form of weakness. With it's free hand it lifted the Justicar up by the neck and made its blade go away in a cloud of black smoke, the floating skull of the demigod starred down at the Justicar with pure hate in its soulless sockets towards the organic. But the avatar of Pandemonium didn't drain his life energy then and there making the completely one sided fight end, no. it was going to make the human suffer to every inch of its short life for how much annoyances it caused its master.
The avatar shoved image after image into Arjun's head to eat away at his soul, he saw countless races around the universe being exterminated for their energy by legions of drones, along with innocent people being turned into fleshy constructs devoid of all life and personality, and the countless ways the avatar was going to murder the organic in the most horrible ways possible. When the Justicar finally stopped struggling the avatar tore off his helmet to have Arjun directly look at his soon to be killer to see the look of dread and pain in Arjun's eyes. But instead of a sad pathetic look of defeat in the organic the Justicar looked back at the monster with anger. "Eat shit and die you puff of smoke."
The avatar of Pandemonium roared and threw the knight into the wall, Arjun didn't bother to get up, his suit had already lost power and without power he wasn't able to pick up his sword let alone use it. The monster walked slowly over to Arjun its mind scrolling through the perfect way to make him die in agony and saver the moment to the end, its sword came back to reality and formed into its right hand.
Arjun's view faded slowly as the avatar made its suspenseful walk over to him when suddenly he blinked for a final time as saw a hooded figure with a gnarled wooden staff over by the destroyed portal. Its face was completely hidden and neither did Liken who was bleeding to death or the avatar notice so Arjun knew it was all in his head.
"Be the light and cast away this shadow."The hooded figure whispered into Arjun's head despite the fact it was half way across the room.
"What?"Arjun said weakly as the demigod came within striking distance but continued to take its time as there was no need to hurry.
"Restore balance my child, send this abomination back to its master. Become the dawn of light in this new dark age."The hooded figure whispered again before vanishing in thin air.
Suddenly the Justicar was filled with power before the half god could realize what was going on the knight swung his fist up and punched the avatar right in its chin sending it flying backwards as if someone pulled the tip of its forehead by string. The Justicar walked over to the demigod who disappeared and then reappeared standing up. Arjun picked up his helmet and sword along the way as well has healing Liken of her wounds by putting his hand on her, golden energy pulsed from his gauntlet that flowed over her.
In anger the demigod rushed the Justicar again as golden light engulfed the Justicar's view ports on his helmet, golden abstract angel wings sprouted from his back plating as well with his sword now bathing in light. The two forces collided with time its self freezing for a brief second unable to comprehend the magnitude of the powers that came in contact with each other as the two juggernauts clashed blades. Time resumed and parry after parry the two near gods met each other's attack blow for blow with neither gaining nor losing ground. Arjun felt a higher power was fighting through him to defeat the physical representation of the Void God but it felt natural and not force unlike what Lord Khaos did.
The empowered Justicar traded blow for blow with the Shadow lord until he managed to get a lucky shot and wound the demigod, it faltered backwards allowing the Justicar to get some room.
"Alright Pandemonium if there's one thing you never factored in your plan to take over the universe it's, me, Arjun Fiaz the kickassticar!"His golden wings faded away to make him glow with even more golden energy. He held his blade over his shoulder as more light began building up while the avatar started to fade in and out as it raced back to the Justicar to do what it should have done long ago. The Justicar took several steps forward as his eyes continued to burn with pure light; the glowing knight threw his blade at the oncoming demigod. The shining blade impaled the Void God's avatar causing light to enter its body destroying the monstrosity once and for all, beams of light shot out of its body before being completely disintegrated from the inside out.
Arjun's new powers faded from his body and fell to the ground exhausted when Pandemonium using the last of his grip on this realm sent the Justicar anther mental image. Inside his mind Arjun could see endless of endless infinite lords over looking and even greater number of infinite followers that only he could comprehend was shown and before the image ended he read the words in his own mind. "This will not stop the infinite, only slow us."Then the Void God's presence in this realm was completely erased.
Liken helped the Justicar get back up onto his feet but the armor being offline made it hard for the human to wear the incredibly heavy armor. "Is it really over"Liken asked desperately.
"Nah, I think were just getting started."
[Artificial world: Sierra, VALOR High Command Year 3,586, Sunday November 22nd, 7:40AM.]
High General Bismarck entered the circular room; pictures of former VALOR presidents hung all around the room and behind the President's desk were a view that overlooked areas were VALOR marines, tanks, warships and more mobilized.
"Mr. President."The High General said and took off his cap. "The former High General, The Dragon Lord along with his advisors and the shape shifting demon we captured are all imprisoned."He reported with a clear voice.
The black chair rotated to show the rather young VALOR leader. The white skinned human male look to be in his mid twenties and was extremely well dressed. He stood up from his chair and placed his gloved hand on the window were his loyal soldiers were getting ready for a major offensive.
"The deep space probes have identified our next conquest; shall I proceed to phase two?"the general asked
"Yes. Deploy the Vanquisher."President Scott ordered.
