Necron402: let the finale contiue!

[Planet; Earth. Year 3,586, Sunday November 22nd, 11:40AM. Sector #10, World Devastator Hope _'__ s wane_]

The massive four legged turtle like walker finally came to a complete stop to begin its paramount task of destroying the entire planet's ecosystem. A small detachment of void soldiers, infinite drones and a wide array of various cult members were accompanying the walker, massive even by infinite standards. Liken was to busy looking at the ground thinking about the deal she made with Xoro'tanth the Shadow master to notice the convoy came to a stop, she slammed into the void soldier In front of her. The disfigured monster didn't bother to turn around instead it just awed as the world devastator slowly unfolded into its deployment phase.

Baphomet placed her left hand on Liken's right shoulder and smiled to the best she could without taking a less abstract form. "It's going to be alright Liken. You did the right thing."

"I know...I have seen what the Grandfather can do. I guess I'm getting distracted about my people's rebirth and more importantly, Zhakaev."Liken blushed when she mentioned him.

"One planet at a time and soon you will be rewarded like all of us, just give it time the Shadow master has been busy on the Shadow Gat-"answered Baphomet before she was cut off from the sound of a VALOR rail shot fired from orbit into the chest of a drone sending it flat on its back, a massive hole burned through its chest.

Several VALOR fighter jets and drop ships flew past overhead of the defenders as even more rail shots from orbiting VALOR destroyers continued to obliterate the drones. Liken looked at the once empty buildings to see the humans in their power armor, their bright blue and white coloring infuriated her. Entire squads leaped off various points of the many buildings that surrounded the world devastator, void soldiers and cultists rushed in a blind rage at their attackers for a bloody brawl, drones fired upon various types of VALOR vehicles all ranging from heavy tanks armed with dual rail cannons to light jeeps. The entire city of Londonwas engulfed in one glorious battle as several combined VALOR regiments tried to destroy the world devastator before it can wipe out their home world. The bodies began to pile up as rail shots from orbit obliterated drones and large concentrations of cultists while the brutality of void soldiers wiped out countless squads single-handedly along with the infinite drones who proved more than a match for the human's combined ground and air forces.

Liken was finished disemboweling a marine with her claws who dared tried to harm her when she looked up and saw a battle that she couldn't believe was real. A marine in red and black power armor caught the blade arm of a rampaging Void soldier with one hand and tore it free from it's socket, he then quickly ripped the monster in half with its own weapon and proceeded to kill more void soldier with the dismembered limb. Liken wiped the blood from her mouth and knew that if she managed to kill a target such as that she would be one step closer to her beloved Zhakaev.

She rushed into the marine on all fours like a wild animal and was able to leap out of the way from oncoming bullet fire from various directions. She leaped towards the red and black armored marine who was distracted fighting off void soldiers and cultists single handily so the marines around him could concentrate their fire on the powerful drones. As Liken came close to ripping apart the soldier he caught her mid leap by the neck without him even looking at her, she whipped and flailed around widely to get free which she did only after when the Vanquisher threw her as a projectile against several void soldiers he was already fighting.

Liken shook her head and felt a large drop of blood on her head, she wiped the blood away, smearing it on her claw and head accidentally then returned her attention to the super soldier who was now in the air propelled by the jet pack on the his back. He held a void soldier by the closet part of its body that could be called its neck, while holding the monster in one hand the hovering marine flew towards a damaged building to gain momentum but before he hit the apartment he threw the monster into the last fragile supports causing the void soldier to be crushed by tons of debris. The Vanquisher turned off the blue thrusts from his jet pack several hundred feet in the air and landed safely when he smashed into the ground. Liken felt hesitant to attack the human but the feelings of love for Zhakaev was much stronger than the fear of this unknown adversary.

With sheer determination for his downfall Liken charged the marine once more, in a second the Vanquisher spun around instantly and pulled a large knife from his left shoulder pad and flipped it around in his hand several times as the valgary charged him. Liken pounced at the Vanquisher with her claws and mouth opened wide but the red and black super marine used his jet pack to blast forth towards the mid air predator and used his right shoulder to slam Liken in an uppercut motion sending her to the sky. She watched her flying adversary sail past her and waited for her at the top of her flight parabola. In a flash the Vanquisher threw anther one of his punches sending her straight into the concrete roads. Liken struggled to get back up, most of her protective scales were completely torn off along with several of the bone spikes that were on her back whenever she meant business. Even though her vision was diluted by her blood she could make out the Vanquisher landing abruptly and started to make his way over to her slowly.

Until a rail round from orbit penetrated the World Devastator straight through its abdomen, the four legged machine fell apart as even more strikes continued to rain down on the doomsday weapon. The Vanquisher looked at the explosion without a care then back at his wounded prey that was now on one knee, then the human seemed to laugh to himself and walked off as VALOR troops began leaving the now burning city now even bothering to finish her off, she struggled to stay awake but gave into her wounds.

[Infinite Head Quarters_._ Year 3,586, Monday November 23rd, 1:00AM. The Nexus]

"The Shadow Gate draws my father closer to this plane, organic, we must hurry."Said Lord Khaos

"I heard you the first damn, I mean no pressure right?"Arjun said sarcastically

"No organic, there is plenty of pressure. If he enters th-"

"Sweet lord I got it! Hassling me every second is not going to make me run faster! Besides you haven't told me how you got into my head."

"Your mind is much too small to grasp the nature of my people, just know that your suit's A.I is now replaced by me."Khaos answered.

"We've been in this damn place for hours, and more than likely VALOR is getting their shit kicked in, now what is your plan that will magically defeat an enemy who has a number of soldiers so high there is no number for that many, and by the way you described it, the name "infinite"sounds more like an understatement for their numbers."

"One of the most powerful infinite technologies is a Shadow Gate, with it they can bring in an unlimited number of infinite at once the one I was brought through was a pathetic attempt at making one."

"Blow up a portal to stop an interdimensional god from adding this realm to his collection as well and if I don't well...as you said my race does not have the words to describe in our vocabulary the pain and suffering that will endure. Peachy. Say I don't suppose you can be a little less doom and gloom?"Arjun said about the course of action

"The quickest path to the Shadow Gate is through Xoro'tanth's construction quarter"

The Justicar drew his sword and gestured to the closet doorway. "You take me to the happiest of places, just don't you?"

[Infinite Head Quarters. Year 3,586, Monday 23rd, 1:50AM. Xoro'tanth's construction quarter, failed dump site]

Liken awoke in a massive circular like chamber, hundreds of bodies hung from the ceilings on huge hooks holding the rotting bodies like meat in a freezer. The room itself was filled with pillars all through out holding the ceiling from crushing the floor and many operating tables were randomly spaced around in no particular design or order. She turned her head and examined her position to see she was strapped to an operating table but her wounds were completely healed. The other tables near her had valgary bodies on it, some hollowed out while other completely torn apart and had the limbs placed around like a half finished puzzle.

"Must not fail again."Muttered Xoro'tanth to himself, who softly rubbed the metal casing around the top portion of his head. He was rearranging the body parts of a human on anther table. Liken continued to struggle, even trying to bite at the straps but all it did was alert the Shadow master.

"Yes, awake we can now operate, we can"Xoro'tanth said happily to himself. The darkspawn scampered over to Liken who was now going completely ballistic. "That was one was a failure, but what's progress without failure?"Xoro'tanth asked hypothetically

Liken turned her head to a valgary on the closet operating table who had a huge tumor growing out of his right shoulder that looked like a mushroom and his arms were replaced with the crude weapons void soldiers use. "You monster!"Liken screamed at the insane magic user.

"Stupid you are! The master would never waste his power on the likes of you!" Xoro'tanth laughed. "The infinite are gods and the Grandfather is a god amongst them! But I can fix you..."Xoro'tanth whispered and he stroked his hand on her cheek but quickly retracted when she tried to bite it off.

"Your organic shell will be used to create a powerful warrior for the master, it's a shame that the organics before you didn't make the process, but you have been touched by the seer, making you very interesting."Stated Xoro'tanth who only answered by more whipping and lashing. "The rebel commander made a fitting void slayer while the half breed is taking more time than usual to succumb to the Grandfather's grace."

Liken began screeching loudly, not even forming real words just animalistic noises, the shadow master backed away when he saw the restraints starting to break and just before when the shadow master was going to flee anther combatant entered.

"Did somebody order for a kickassticar?"Arjun yelled

"There can be no distractions!"the Shadow master yelled back. The twitching darkspawn slammed his staff into the bloody floor sending a shockwave of purple energy to all the corpses in the entire chamber. "My failures will be your down fall, organics!"without anther word the darkspawn disappeared in a cloud of black smoke.

Inhuman yells and screams echoed through the chamber as the failed experiments began rising from the operating tables or ripping themselves free from the hooks that held them from above. Countless monstrosities crept towards the knight each of them having a deformity; small arms, no head, or even half their bodies missing but each of them still walked as a purple haze hung around them all, the magic of the Shadow master allowing them to fight once more even if the bodies wouldn't allow it.

The Justicar drew his sword against the army of undead that was made up of humans, darkspawns, valgaries, demons and some he didn't even recognize as how mutated and screwed up their bodies were. The Justicar began cleaving through the horde of experiments with every swing of his blade while Liken ripped free from her restraints to join in on the blood bath. The Justicar slew the rejects by the ten folds but the wave of failures never seemed to end. The two heroes met in the centre of the horde of undead with their backs against each other.

"So what you too pretty to be a zombie?"Arjun laughed and slew anther failure. Liken didn't want to mention to the Justicar her reason for joining as it would give the human more chances to mock her, she just held her focus on the monsters.

"Lord Khaos, got anything in your bag of tricks to help us?"asked Arjun which got Liken's attention.

"What?"

"Don't ask."

Purple energy glowed from Arjun's palm and the infinite lord forced him to place his hand on the ground sending his own shockwave to dispel the magic on the undead making them fall apart on the spot.

"Remind me to add that to the list of things I want for Christmas"Arjun said as he got up.

"How did you get here?"Liken asked sharply.

"I was dead but Lord Khaos being the nice...infinite and gave me some life energy so I can live again, or something."

Liken nodded just so the human could shut up. "So I got to take down the Shadow Gate or else we are all space vampire chow."

"I'm going with you."She urged.

"Hell you aren't."

"Organic, shut up. My power may be limitless but my patience is not! We will need all the help against the Void God's minions."Ordered Lord Khaos

"Fine, let's go scale head."

[Infinite Head Quarters. Year 3,586, Monday November 23rd, 2:20AM. The Shadow Gate]

"You complete incompetent, unless creatures! First the World Devastator and now I have the Justicar and Liken in my very base! The void god is only a few steps away from entering this plane and you let this happen!"Lord Anarchy yelled

"Milord I believe it was you that has failed."

Anarchy couldn't fathom what he heard; his once subordinate jittering darkspawn now had the audacity dare to talk back to his lord. "I FAILED!"Anarchy yelled. "It was your cultists that allowed the Justicar to come back -

"And it was your forces that failed to protect the walker, milord."

Anarchy had enough backtalk from his minion and sent an orb of purple energy to kill his shadow master, but to his surprise the energy was absorbed into the shadow master. "The Grandfather has chosen me to lead his new army against the organics of this plane."

Anarchy was shocked. "The Void God would never let some pathetic fleshling be in charge of his forces!"

"Like the human and valgary, I too have been empowered by the seer. You have done nothing for the great one but lose his children to the organics; I have on the other hand made the most powerful organic force ever, a perfected necromancy that Carpender could only dream of!"

"You back talking swine! You serve me through the Void God, not the other way around and if you would have me believe you to be a chosen? I will kill you for associating yourself with the Void God like this!"

"Milord."Xoro'tanth said calmly as Anarchy started to now see the Shadow master was now mocking him with the title. "I am still alive because the Grandfather knows this, and I have followed out his plans to the letter, start the civil war so I can collect bodies for his own organic army, banish Lord Khaos so his return would be unopposed, and now to restore the Shadow Gate so the Grandfather can enter this realm without the need of a suit, his entrance into this plane will wipe out all organic life just for being on the same level of existence!"

Anarchy felt something very dark within the shadow master, a powerful energy using its organic flesh as a shell as a means of interaction and transportation. For the first time ever, Anarchy was concerned about his own safety around the unpredictable darkspawn who continued to argue with himself along with switching languages for almost every word during it.

"Then do your job and kill those organics that you ran away from!"Anarchy demanded.

Before answering, Xoro'tanth finished muttering to himself then turned his attention back to the infinite lord. "They will certainly meet their demise, yes they will, but not after your own failure as been answered. The Grandfather will not tolerate failure as losing such an important servant as a world devastator suit!"

The Shadow master twirled his staff around with such maneuverability and skill that would seem impossible for such a fragile looking creature to do, with every motion the dark energy at the tip built up until it reached critical levels for the darkspawn to launch the projectile created from his staff to waste Lord Anarchy away into nothingness. The shadow master twitched again. "Yes, milord. The human and valgary will be next..."

[Infinite Head Quarters. Year 3,586, Monday November 23rd, 3:00 AM. Xoro'tanth's testing chamber]

Liken and Arjun entered anther circular chamber surprisingly even more disturbing then the one they left from, individual limbs hung from the ceiling and the walls and floors were made up from entire skeletons creating a crunching noise every time they took a step in.

"The Grandfather himself has given me the simple liberty of adding your life energy to his own, I present to you, my ultimate void soldier. My most perfection creation! Minion devour them!"yelled the shadow master over the dirty communication system

Just up ahead the main gates that lead to were the shadow master crept opened up just a bit for a silver and fleshy like ball to fly out and unravel mid air to reveal a slender humanoid monster. The perfect void soldier stood perfectly upright, its arm blades were much better taken care off as they were far sharper and cleaner, its legs were also replaced with blades but it did not un balance the acrobatic monster but simply made it more agile and precise. The Heads up Display in Arjun's helmet lit up as the suit located an identification chip in the mess that was the skinny void soldier.

"Oh fuck man"Arjun said like he saw a ghost

"What?"Liken asked who was wondering why the undead monster didn't attack

"That's Commander To'vash! Sweet Jesus, what the hell did they do to him?"

The blade dancer raced towards the two at frightening speeds, constantly jumping to various locations along the way erratically. Liken tried to tackle the leaping monster but it easily evaded her and singled out the Justicar who quickly took out his blade just in the nick of time to parry the first blow of the hyper void soldier.

"Any tips, great god?"asked Arjun to Khaos as he slowly became un able to parry every single attack that the former To'vash threw at him, spark flew as metal hit metal over and over again.

"Magic will be useless against this abomination; the dark power of the shadow master protects it you're alone on this one, fleshling."

"Thanks for the support..."

Liken quickly raced back to the undead that was dancing circles around the Justicar, attacking every single possible angle. It was only a matter of time before it would land a hit. As Liken went to grab the monster it back flipped over her head, then continued back flipping on till it reached a safe distance where it went on all fours and crawled around like a spider then walked up the wall using its blades for limbs to climb.

When it reached the ceiling it jumped off, right over the head of the Justicar who quickly rolled to the left avoiding the attack as the construct smashed into the graveyard like floor, Arjun quickly retaliated but the monster used its arm blades now as its feet and using its bladed legs to fight the Justicar.

"Holy hell, this is fucked up"Arjun stated as each of his strikes were parried by the blade dancer's legs then held its whole weight on its right arm and began swinging at the Justicar's legs with its free arm. Liken came to help but the acrobatic undead used its right leg to fight off Liken and quickly slashing with the only limb supporting its weight before rebalancing itself perfectly.

Liken grew more and more frustrated as her own attacks keep missing the target who seemed so easy to hit but the spinning blade dancer was just too nimble until Arjun just became so fed up he tackled the monster to the ground and pinned it there with his knees on it's chest.

"Some perfect creation it can't even es-"Arjun said with great confidence until he looked back and he was just sitting on the skeletons, the blade dancer had vanished in a black smoke and reappeared behind Liken.

"Mother fucker"Arjun swore and looked at his target that Liken was already engaged with. Liken was now on the offence using her claws and tail to injure the former ally in anyway she could but the nimble and flexible blade dancer was a tiny bit faster than her animalistic rage but she got distracted when she saw the Justicar just standing there holding his sword over his shoulder as his suit directed energy to it. "Dodge this, bitch!"the Justicar roared

The blade dancer leaped from Liken and raced towards the Justicar who had his sword fully charged with excess energy, using the power of gravity the knight walked a few steps forward as he hurled his sword as near the blade dancer as best as he could do, the elegant monster dodged the sword but was caught in the explosion from the mini nuke aftermath. Liken was thrown backward as To'vash completely disintegrated in the explosion. The Justicar tiredly walked over and drew his sword from the crater. "Let's hope we don't fight more of those things."Arjun hoped. The valgary nodded silently

The Justicar took point, with his sword at hand as he walked toward the opened gates leading to a small torture chamber, nothing hung from the ceilings, and oddly enough it wasn't dirty. Only two operating tables were in the private lair of the Shadow master, one was recently used most likely for the blade dancer while the other had the remains of anther test subject. "The Shadow Gate is beyond this room organics, we need to hurry right now and stop this madness once and for all"said Lord Khaos with fear in his voice

Arjun nodded and tapped Liken on the shoulder who was busy looking at the body on the table. "Hey, come on lets go, we only got the realm to save."Sarcastically said the Justicar

The body Liken was looking at had most of its limbs amputated with only its left arm intact that was covered in fleshly tumors. Despite the fact she couldn't identify what or who it was it was still familiar. "Hey, scale face. Come on! Any second now we will be ruled by a space ghost!"urgently harassed Arjun as he continued to point the way out with his head

Liken touched the head of the experiment, feelings its excess skin and all the deformities all around its face until it spoke. "Get your hands off me you crazy bastard!"it yelled at Liken.

The Justicar turned around as the voice quickly got his attention. "There's no way in hell that thing can be alive, we better kill it before it tries to attack us"

"It has no way of defending itself, it only has an arm!"Liken yelled back

"Well excuse me for being paranoid around an enemy that doesn't seem to care for physics and the law of nature!"

"Liken?"asked the experiment "Is that you?"

"Ok now this is really getting screwed up"Arjun said as he tried to maintain his view on both the valgary and the Shadow Gate.

"I thought you were dead!"the monster coughed and its entire body shook. "Xoro'tanth has been trying to turning me into his new blade dancers, but I've resisted him all this time, now that you're here, it has been worth it all."

"You got to be fucking kidding me"said the Justicar who now knew who it was.

"Zhakaev..."Liken said with a heavy heart. Xoro'tanth had warped only friend into the void monsters they had been fighting for the longest time. "No!"Liken yelled. "This isn't happening; I can't go through seeing you go one more time!"

"I am dead, I can't keep my sanity intact for very much longer, I can hear the Void God inside my skull and he wants me to be anther one of his slaves. Please shut down the Shadow Gate and end this..."

"We can help you! Lord Khaos here ca-

"It's not my health that is the problem! Pandemonium is in control of my body destroy the gate, save this universe. "

"No, no, no, no!"sniffled Liken who was now completely raining tears. "I love you Zhakaev, you can't leave me!"

"I always loved you."The last part of Zhakaev died so that the abomination remains could take over, yelling in its inhuman screams. Liken couldn't bring her self to kill the monster as it screamed in pain she felt too depressed to do anything. The constant yelling stopped when the Justicar threw his blade into the chest of the monster silencing it.

For once the Justicar had nothing to say, sarcastic, annoying or helpful. The valgary let out the most primal roar filled with anger and sadness Arjun has ever heard and joined Arjun at his side, not a single tear shed after his death.

"Justicar?"Liken asked in a very dark tone

"Yeah?"Arjun responded with his view still set on the neck room, his blade flew back to his opened palm

"Let's finish this."
