Quinten took off sometime in the early morning when the sun was bright enough to be seen through the trees as he rode down the asphalt path on his bike. He had a huge smile on his face as he got to the campsite, braking before getting off his bike and beginning the long walk, or at least how he remembered it when he was 9 and he, his brothers and grandfather would go there to feed the ducks in the creek. His blue striped fur felt incredible as the heat of the sun and the cool breezes washed over him, this was exactly what he needed. The large oak trees were budding with the sights and smells of the spring, stopping for a second he took in a breath of fresh air, he could feel the stress of the city washing away, with barely any sounds, besides the occasional passing car and the sounds of his bike he had been rolling alongside him, he could hear the birds, and the crunch of the rocks under his sneakers along the path. Just as he walked through the opening he hears the familiar quacking of the mallards in the small creek., he headed for the weathered bench and pulled out the bread he packed for them. "Eat up you guys he says as they fall into the water with a small splash, one male dunking his in water before eating it. He smiles and laughs as he puts the sandwich baggy back in his bag "I should save the other half for when I am about to leave." He then walked around the creek a bit counting his paces and promptly turned left "Since the creek is just off the path, lets head to the clearing and set up camp there" he says as he walks into the forest, little did he know this would be one hell of a night for him as he crossed into enemy territory.

Almost 30 meters away...a near restless werewolf lumbers through the trees, his multi colored eyes, of yellow and blue, were heavy with lethargy as he roams along the paths he's known so well since that night. His body coated in a rich black fur, as well and lighter and mid tone browns giving him a beautiful gradient of color. Along his arms the Greek letter "a" the sign of an alpha, but what you would see is far from it. He then spots a tree away from view. "Here...here should be good, it's away from view of hikers or campers" he says in relief as he lays his body down, his shoulders relaxing as he nestles into the hard bumpy wood. "I know you've been restless to roam" he says looking around one last time "...but you don't have to wait...let me rest just this once...you're free" he says as he falls to sleep closing his eyes. Not even a minute after he awakens his eyes glaring, if you were there you'd see the blue and yellow shift to slit amber yellow pupils, Jack o' lantern orange iris and dark grey sclera slowly shift to a red and his body began to grow, quite larger and his fur began to frizz and fluff up more than it already was before as a few whispy strands of yellow lightning surrounds him and enveloped his growing body . He looks around his surroundings and down at his paws, you'd think he'd stay for a bit longer, but with an air of swiftness he stands. Taking in a breath of air, and letting out a loud snarl in his exhale followed by a loud almost maniacal laughter, this was no longer the werewolf who laid himself down. He relishes in sudden heightened senses and growing ravenous desires and power he felt throughout his whole. *"Yes at long last I am free, so rest up I have matters to attend to" . * He walks around taking in the sights and smells before something catches his nose, and a wild smirk crosses his face. *"Preeeey......well, I suppose it's only right to deal with this head on and greet this intruder" * he says before cracking his knuckles and neck and breaking into a sprint on all fours.

Meanwhile on the other side where Quinten was, his campsite was already being set up. He had with him a large silver and blue tent, which popped up with a slight rustling sound as he threw it onto the ground. He had already put down a simple fire pit which he hadn't lit yet, because the sun was still out giving him ample light to explore. He also had set out a lounge chair, his spare clothes, and outdoor friendly toiletries. He was just tying down his tent to the nearby trees when he heard a noise from behind him sounding like the pounding of feet. At first he thought nothing of it taking it as an animal running from something, and as he got back to work he realized the sound was getting louder and louder. Causing him to turn around to see nothing, except two orange eyes that were growing more and more visible. His tail frizzed up in fear as he realized this animal was coming for him. In instinct he throws down his bag and makes a run for it into the other side of the clearing, but the sound only continued to get louder. It took everything in him to look behind him and see just what was chasing him. To his surprise it wasn't a bear, rather something larger and much more canine. This only made him try to run faster, but sure enough he felt a strong grip on his arm as he is thrown towards a tree knocking the wind out of him, and putting him to a stop.

The werewolf looks down at the tiger, with a large smile of victory, he pants rather hard, but he doesn't seem the slightest bit tired as he held him down. The tiger was so in shock he didn't know what to do, not only could he not move, but he could only look up into his haunting gaze, with the little bit of energy he had, as he felt it draining with every second he closes his eyes. " For a tiger, I expected a longer chase" he would hear him say, making him whimper when suddenly he felt a claw against his neck. " LOOK AT ME WHEN I TALK TO YOU" he heard him shout, which brought back the reality of the fright he was in. The werewolf smirked seeing his eyes again. " *That's better...now let's review...not only did you willingly enter into enemy territory, but you came into the territory of a strong, rather dashing werewolf I know with claws like razors and teeth like daggers who you happen to be face to face with at this very second *". Even though Quinten had heard him loud and clear, the werewolf's mouth did not move from the occasional rise and fall of his panting. This confused him even more, how was he speaking? Was this in his head? Is he dreaming? No...sadly the aches of this stranger's grip kept him awake this was real...all too real.

He looked down at the tiger, seeing the confusion on his face, which only made him happier. " Oh...you are confused, well I can't actually talk, too much energy wasted, you are hearing me through your mind...not that this is going to be useful once I'm done with you, kitty" the irises of the tiger shrank and he began to hyperventilate, but the werewolf took a finger and place it onto his lips, which shut him up, though the glow of his eyes kept him in an increasing state of fear and anticipation. " Shh...luckily for you, it's been a long time since I was able to roam around freely, so I am going to be the figuratively bigger man and allow you to explain what was going through your tiny mind as you stepped into my home...if I like the answer you can go free, if I don't....well i'll leave that for you to think".

At this the tiger was dumbfounded, not only was he in the clutches of this monster, but he was being interrogated as well. Of course he knew the answer, but he wasn't sure what he meant by "If he didn't like the answer", was there a right way to do this? And if so what was it? Just as things were starting to get silent in the forest again, and Quinten was close to stringing something together the werewolf growled in impatience. " Either you start talking or I start counting...". This was enough to get him to say something. "...I.." the tiger says in a weak voice voice. " Oh....so you do speak, I suppose maybe my grip is a bit too strong" he relaxes his grip just enough to let the air flow into his lungs, causing him to gasp. " And now that you can breath talk" he says looking down at him expecting something miraculous, at least that was what the tiger thought. "Well...I just came here because I wanted to get some air, some real air, and maybe make some new memories in a place I remembered so fondly; when I was a kid I remembered thinking the world was open to so many possibilities, and people could do no evil and I lived without ever thinking my life was broken...I guess this was some kind of sorry excuse to find something that gave me that...feeling that my way of thinking wasn't wrong, even though nowadays that seems to be all I can do..." he is interrupted by a loud yawn from Kiro, his teeth dripping in saliva that fell onto Quinten's shirt. " You know...I don't usually let my prey live this long, and I am starting to see why, so maybe start talking or I sink my teeth in you"he says with a small snicker. For some reason this made Quinten rather angry, he knew in this situation he was in no position to be so, but he was. "Look I get the whole big scary monster thing is supposed to be a threat, but if you want to kill eat me, just go ahead and do it, you'll be doing the world a huge favor...it seems like the minute I became an adult the world is after me including myself." He looked up at the werewolf whose eyes still scared him, but his anger at himself was far too great to let him try to scream out in fear. The werewolf's brow raised in curiosity as he allowed him to speak. " That's better I love prey with an energy, now elaborate on that...why would your death be beneficial, small tiger". Despite the fear Quinten felt he was too far to lie to him again, impulse was always his downfall, so he took a deep breath and spoke.

"I never thought my life would turn out like this, I always assumed my dreams and ambition would be enough to get me through, but you can't sleep forever...I'm only a few years into actual adulthood and I have to change my entire being to become this other person wherever I go, and it's exhausting, I can't be aggressive or show confidence, because that's defiant...I can't defend myself because I'm a carnivore and it won't look good in my favor, I'm terrified of everything I've done in my past and it worries me of the future." The tiger gritted his teeth and growled simply from angering himself. "I'm not seen as enough of a man by my own family to be considered trustworthy, yet I'm told I'm the rock of the family, how dare they put that on me, I didn't ask to hold everyone together...and yet when I decide to tell anyone, I'm always reminded of how horrible I treated them by...writing smut and trying to figure out why I liked guys like telling them these things wouldn't have me disowned, it's probably the reason I'm still a virgin today. it's made me hate myself...I hate myself, not all of me, but this other part of me that they hate...though it is me...I wish I could just cut it out, like the cancer it is for them, and just be enough for them, for myself, but this side isn't truly hurting me, at least I don't think so...it's more the response to it that confirms the doubts I have in myself. Then of course with how my mind works I overthink how I can be the problem in every situation in my life, and how my actions seem so right to me, but ruin every chance I have to just be normal, so I came out here...the one place on earth where none of this shit matters, the outdoors, a place I can just be myself with only the sounds of the woods, the sounds of a me who loved everything and saw good in everyone...so there that's why I crossed into your territory, and as ironic as it sounds...I'm glad I could talk to someone..." " ENOUGH" the werewolf says, snarling, a deep seated anger in his dark orange eyes, like he had said something to trigger him. His grip on the tiger tightens, and he gets closer to him. The fear filled him as he felt his wind pipe close from the intense strength of his captor, he felt himself grow faint, he began to try to claw at his face to get him to let go of his neck. " Foolish miscreant, if you're going to lie to me...at least be creative...you have wasted my time, but before I kill you...I want to see just how much of it was untrue...now look forward deep into my eyes as I peer into your soul, ** and since this takes centuries I'll let you have a talk with someone before you die".** The werewolf's eyes glow brighter and and begin to swirl around, almost as if he is being hypnotized, and sure enough the tiger found himself getting incredibly tired; before he knew it his eye fogged over as he fell into an unconscious slumber.

As he woke up he saw that he wasn't held down by the werewolf, nor was he in the forest rather a blank space of nothingness, almost like being in space. Quinten looked down and saw his paws in front of him, and his toes below, yep this was him. As he was walking around trying to look for an exit he saw a furnished little area which contained: A table and chair set with two vastly different sized chairs, a couch, and a bed that had something rising and falling under the covers. Even though he had just gotten there he knew he needed to leave, and out of curiosity he decided to get closer; upon doing so the figure bolted up, and looked around. This made Quinten scream and fall down on his butt, his eyes meeting the eyes of a somewhat familiar face. He looked similar to the one who intended to kill him, but he was much shorter and skinnier, though still very tall to the tiger. A few more difference were in his eyes, his scent, and the mannerisms that the just awoken wolf had. "Who are you? What are you doing here? Where's Kiro?" He asks rather concerned as he gets up and picks up the tiger, like if he were a pet, as if to look behind him and around the area he had fallen. Quinten instantly lost all fear as he was placed on the bed, this guy looked like the werewolf outside, but he was completely different, almost...adorable. "My name is Quinten and who's Kiro?" the tiger asked causing the Lycan's ears to perk and turn to him, his eyes that were once yellow and orange stare down at him. He then seems to ruminate and then his left eye shifts color from a pale grey to a bright white, at the same time his ears perked up and he runs over to you, kneeling to meet his eyes. "Quinten, this is very very bad, you are being tried by my other half, and he is Very particular" he says as he grabs the tiger's smaller shoulders. "How did he find you, there was no one in the forest when I checked? Why did he try you? What did you say? Did you lie to him? WHY did you lie to him?" He then looked down and saw his claws were extended and he pulled them away. "I'm sorry, just not really something I thought I would be awakened to" he says as he bows his head in shame. The tiger placed his paw on the Lycan's head and rustles it around softly "It's cool ,they didn't really hurt" he says trying to console him, the werewolf's ears perk realizing what is happening and he flinches back not in fear but rather it seems to defend himself. He looked a bit embarrassed and straightened himself out. "Sorry, to answer your questions my name is Bayzan, and you are inside our shared zone where Kiro and I live, and Kiro...well he's the one who's scanning your life events to see if you a liar" he said the last part looking away a bit. Quinten nodded "You and him are one in the same right?" Bayzan nods and sat back down in the chair "Just like my friend, he is also a werewolf and he has two parts to him, a more formal and reserved part and the wilder feral side, they get along very well, of course they had some trouble at first, but now it's all good with them; you two should meet."

The werewolf seemed to crack a bit of a smile, but then he frowned and and leaned against the wall "That sounds wonderful...to speak to someone like me, but I won't be able to as you'll be dead soon if he finds anything wrong. Quinten shrugged "Well he's not gonna find that I lied about anything; I had no reason to lie" he sighs and looks up at the confused werewolf. He then began to relay a summarized version of the rant he gave to Kiro, the name of his captor, to his lesser half and was met with earnest. "Wow...i'm so sorry to hear tha-" he stops mid sentence and his fur on his neck and back began to stand up. The werewolf stood up from his seat and his eyes closed, and once they opened his eyes changed color, somewhat similar to Kiro's with the haunting orange and yellow, but his sclera was a bright red, and the pupil changed to what appeared be almost reptilian, thin like a dagger. The werewolf turned to face Quinten head on and instantly the vibration he felt was intimidating. He backed up till he hit the wall "Don't be frightened, tiger" he says in a voice that seemed to layer the two lycans he met earlier. "Which one are you?" the tiger asks, straightening up, but still had his nerves in the back of his throat. "I am both of them...they only come to consensus like this once in a blue moon, so consider yourself extremely lucky to have witnessed my presence...I have come to deliver a message of gratitude for your honesty" he says as he walked over to the tiger and kneeled down to meet the green eyes of the smaller feline. "I've seen your heart, mind, and the myriad of things you've kept bottled inside...in Kiro's eyes you have been weighed, measured, and found truthful...and personally it's a wonderful feeling" he says with a pause "To not be alone that is" this brought a smile to both their faces, and then he reached out to him. "And now sadly it is time for you to go...no harm will have come to you and it will feel as if you have woken up from a dream" just then the werewolf tapped his forehead, and just like he said Quinten fainted once more and woke up, looking up at the large leaves with the setting sun on his fur. He looked around and saw the tree he was held up by was broken, the tiger dusted himself off and cleared his throat as he could breath right again, he then walked over to his campsite with the events running through his head on repeat, and the looming question of: "I wonder what happened to those two? What happened while I was out?"

A few moments ago the werewolf, Kiro, was furious. Not with his prey, but with his situation. He really wanted a chance to have some fun with him, but now that he had shown to be admirable by both of them feelings flooded into him. He was aiming his claws at the unconscious tiger, but instead sliced down the tree he had pinned him down by. He needed to get away, to run away from this mess, so he did he ran as far and as fast as his legs would take him. He ran for almost 3 hours, by the time he got to the edge of the forest, the sun had begun setting, and he was exhausted. The bits of oak wood were still lodged in his fur only reminding him of the moments before. For the first time in his life Kiro felt...weak. The large lycanthropy panted heavily, this feeling of utter defeat was new to him. No hunter could catch him, so why did he feel this way about a prey so easy to takedown? Why did the thought of his life make him feel? Why did he spare him? He decided that the only way to get to the root of these feelings was with his other half, though he knew it meant being imprisoned once more he had no choice, he needed to know what his feelings meant. He leaned down by the tree, and closed his eyes, as the sun set on his furry figure...now almost peaceful in his newfound slumber.

Meanwhile deep inside of their shared space Bayzan was walking over to that spot, the place he knew that Kiro would be, he only had to follow the familiar sounds of anguish and pain to the larger werewolf. The sight he saw of him, though seeing it a myriad of times, never got any easier. There the Goliath was held down by large, thick chains along his arms, shoulder, and elbows, whilst his feet and legs were clutched by hands that kept him from moving anything, but his head. This was and always has been how things were done, in Bay's head Kiro was dangerous to be left out on his own, and so his control gave him the power to keep him restrained, but to find it was so intensive was heartbreaking to him. With a wave of his hand the chain and hands disappeared, and Bayzan walked over to him, slowly. Kiro began to snarl and back away slowly " Don't come near me...I'll bite' he says baring his teeth, but Bayzan only came closer and extended a hand in front of him. "Shhh. it's okay I'm not here to hurt you, and you and I both know that though biting me hurts us both it won't ease the pain I have caused you by keeping you like this". Kiro was confused, Bay was never this reckless, so taking the new motive as it came he sniffed his hand and moved it to the top of his head. Bayzan smiled and moved his paw around the area between his ears. The smaller werewolf picked up one of the wrist of the larger one, his struggling had caused the skin to tear a bit, but after being set free they quickly began to regenerate. "You came back on your own...why would you willingly come back." "I...need answers, I feel strange" Kiro says after a pause of hesitation. "Their life is like...ours" **"Kiro...I...cannot explain to you enough how sorry I am to have kept you chained away so heavily for so long, under the pretense that you would hurt me, or us, or the world around us" his smile remained, but a tear fell from his eyes as he cupped the larger Lycan's face to get him to look at him. "Please listen...I need to tell you this now....You are NOT a monster, you aren't another half, you are not dangerous, I...am so sorry to have made you believe otherwise, we are one in the same, and yet we are our worst enemy...that has to change today...with us, and with him. Kiro looked up with a raised brow. " **The tiger?" the larger wolf says raising a brow up at him. "Yes...he could make a noticeable difference" Bayzan says with a small nod ** "What does he have to offer us other than easy prey?" Bayzan kneels down to somewhat reach his gaze. "Well he said he had a friend...and though we only talked for a small bit of time...I feel like we can trust him." Just think about it someone who just barely understands the pain we go through is better than the isolation we have felt for so long, this could be our chance to make a new start together". The larger werewolf instead of denying the advances takes the smaller one into a tight hug, Bay could feel the shiver of Kiro...crying? Just as he thought about it he could hear the stifled sob dripping onto the back of his fur. "It's okay Kiro...let it out these feelings you feel are newer to you...most of what you felt was the anger of being ousted, and I apologize for that sadness, and that empty pit in your stomach that's normal...but it can be fixed...please tell me you agree" he says fighting back full on bawling, trying to be the strong one for once in his glance. Kiro simply nodded against his shoulder, and held onto him tighter. "Now it won't be automatic, but I can promise you once we get to that point in our lives where we can merge once more...we will be an unstoppable team." Kiro stood up and smiled as he wiped his face **"After...everything, you think we can do it?". Bayzan nods with a smile of his own offering his paw to him. "If we promise... here and now to both work on this together, I know so...we CAN be whole again, the way we once were, deal?". The larger lycan smiles wide and brought his face to his, nuzzling into his neck, before looking up and nodding "Deal". Afterwards Bayzan woke up, having taken the place of Kiro who gave up the light. It was a new morning, but the memories of their talk were still fresh, he wipes away the lingering tears and bits of oak wood from his fur and decides that the first thing he'll do is find Quinten.

The forest was quiet as he walked through following the scent of the tiger, it was rather nice to see the forest in the day the morning sun was gentle on his layers of fur. As he got closer a new smell entered his nose, the smell of food, savory and warm, it was enough to fill the werewolf's thoughts with the idea of a meal, which he hadn't had in a long LONG time. Kiro instantly takes charge, the opportunity was too great to pass up. "Don't worry Bay, once we find it I'll be sure to share" ** he says as he rolls his neck and gets down on all fours, and breaks once again into a mad sprint. as he got closer he could make out more and more of the smells and once he got to a clearing they were close enough they if he jumped, which he did he'd be right there. As the light dimmed he happened to come upon Quinten, cooking a few eggs, some sausage and potatoes in a cast iron skillet. Kiro was in mid pounce when the image came to his mind it was his breakfast not him, Kiro tried his best to put the brakes on , but ending up falling flat on his face, right in front of the tiger, bits of dirt and grass covered his face and he got up. "Well good morning...Kiro? Right? You guys eat like regular food right?" he says as he holds out a plate to him, Kiro took it with a bit of a snatching motion and messily ate all of the food on his plate in a rush. Quinten laughs and pulls out a napkin. "Hold still there, you got egg all over you" he says as he slowly comes forward. The larger wolf looked down at him and is confused at first. **"The food was...delicious, but that's wasn't why I came...I...need to say something" he says as he lowers himself to his level, his ears falling down in frustration. "About yesterday...the whole trying to kill you thing, well... it was a valiant and unexpected choice to not do so on my part so...you're welcome". The tiger blinked a few times, looking at the lycanthropy who seemed rather proud of himself for that last bit."Did...did you just apologize...and insult me in the same sentence" the tiger asked as he surprisingly was allowed to clean off his fur, but before he can speak, Bayzan takes the light, as he could see from the shrinkage and the eye color change. "Um...good morning, Quinten, what he Meant to say was, we are very sorry for the disturbance, but...in a way thankful to have met you" the werewolf says with a small smile.

The two of them began to converse of things, nothing in particular stood out, but there was a laugh here and there with it ending around noon. As the two headed back to the campsite Quinten realized it was time to go. "Man...I wish I could stay out here a bit longer, but I have to head to work soon". He then pulled out a pen and paper"So here is the adress to the cabin that my friend lives in if you'd like to visit him yourself, the two of them both go by Lynar"the werewolf looked down at the paper, and tilted his head. "Quinten...do you have anything of his...it would be easier then...this" the tiger laughs "Of course" he then pulls out a small brush, with bits of grey hair stuck in it. "On the off chance I get to brush his fur I use this" Bay took the brush and gave it a long smell, Kiro then took control and began to dart his head around "That way...not too far" he says as he easily located the cabin. Quinten then began to take down his tent, and put out his fire. He and Bayzan then walked out of the woods, past the duck pond, and back to the beginning of the park where the beaten path lead back to life in the city. "Goodbye, Qui-" before the werewolf could say anything he was stopped. "We just met, but you should know I hate goodbyes, how about...so long? See you next time?" he says looking up with a smile. Bayzan's eyes shifted color, and a smile grew on his face. "Yes....see you later, Quinten". The tiger then took the bigger wolf into a hug, catching him by surprise, Bayzan was a bit overwhelmed, but slowly he calmed down and wrapped his arms around his back, before letting go. The tiger looked back and he got on his bike, and pedaled away. The werewolf watched him until he disappeared over the hill. Bayzan looked up at the sky, and took a breath of fresh air. "A new start...a friend...and an advisor" he says. "Maybe I should allow more prey to live" Kiro says as he interrupted the calm moment having the more passive side burst into laughter.
