Judy sat alongside Gideon in the pews. She still couldn't believe they were getting married. Everyone from the ZPD attended, instead of standing tall in uniforms they were sitting side by side in formal suits and elegant dresses. Everyone looked so happy to be there. In Judy's eyes it felt as if the proposal came out of nowhere. Either way she was just as happy as everyone else to be there and witness the upcoming union.

The music started and everyone in the pews proceeded to stand. Judy watched him walk down the aisle, smiling wider than he ever had before. He looked great in a suit and his orange fur was shining brighter than it ever had before. She gave him a small wink and he nodded back. Soon after, the other groom stepped in.

I swear. Would it kill him to smile? Even on his big day? Judy thought to herself. Soon the pair were standing at the altar, smiles on their faces and their eyes gazing into the other's. It was even cuter considering one groom was looking down while the other was looking up. It was something Judy and Gideon could relate to as well. The vows were soon said, touching the bunny's heart.

"You're not gonna cry are you?" Judy rolled her eyes and looked over at Nick. Finnick sat beside him, snickering at the other fox's teasing.

"Come on, guys. You have to admit it," Judy sighed, looking back at the altar. "Look at those two. They are so cute together."

"Yeah. Those two deserve each other. I'm happy for them," Nick whispered back.

The couple had just finished saying 'I do' to one another. They had promised to have each other, hold each other and to be together forever.

"Then I now pronounce you man and man!" With those words everyone clapped and cheered for the newlywed couple of Benjamin and Bogo. Judy herself couldn't hold back tears as the couple kissed.

"Look at those two. Judy was right, they are pretty cute," Nick sighed to himself. He and Finnick sat at a table, watching the water buffalo and cheetah dance with one another. The lights at the afterparty were low and the music was soft. It gave Nick a feeling of calm. "You sure you don't wanna dance?"

"No, no..." Finnick protested, already drunk from the bar's drinks. "I'm just gonna...stay here." The fennec groaned and dropped his head on the table once again.

Nick shook his head and gazed at Finnick. "I knew I should have stopped you."

"Sorry," Finnick mumbled.

"No, no. I was the one who dragged you here," Nick said flatly. "I just didn't want to come alone."

The fox's sights returned to the newlyweds and many other couples were dancing together including Judy and Gideon. Sighing in boredom, Nick began to tap a claw against the flat surface.

A small hiccup came from the fennec. He titled his head and spoke once again. "Hey, Nick..."

"What is it?"

"Come here. I wanna... L-let me kiss you," Finnick growled playfully, his tongue flicking about.

"How about we save that for later?" Nick grinned, he enjoyed Finnick's drunk kisses. They were tender, soft, and usually left his muzzle wet and stinking of alcohol.

"Hehe. That's not all I saved," Finnick snickered, pulling a paw under the table.

"Oh really? What else have you got? Weed?" Nick pressed, tilting his head.

"Uh...How'd you know?" Finnick asked, revealing the bag full of buds.

"Lucky guess honesty. But why did you bring that to a wedding?" the fox asked, he could hardly wait for the explanation.

"I was gonna smoke it later," Finnick admitted, stuffing the bag back into his pocket. "I thought we could get high and fuck in the back of the van." Nick rolled his eyes and looked off towards the dance floor again. But the idea was becoming all the more appealing the longer he watched everyone else having fun.

"Alright... Come on, Finn," Nick said gently, stretching his arms out. The tiny fox only grunted in response and shuffled into his boyfriend's arms.

"There we go," the fox encouraged, cradling Finnick like a baby. He stood up and was about to depart but he saw Judy and Gideon approaching.

"Hey! You two having fun?" Nick smiled at the other couple.

"The time of my life!" Gideon laughed and looked closer to see Finnick already asleep in Nick's hold. "What happened to him?"

"Poor guy had too much to drink and now he's all tuckered out. He knows he's a lightweight," Nick mock fretted. "I gotta admit weddings are pretty fun. You two gonna be next?"

Gideon laughed again and slapped his paw on the table. "I could ask you the same thing."

"Gideon Grey! Are you suggesting that I like this little furball?" Nick smiled, petting Finnck's head gently.

"Maybe we should go on another one of those double date things after all," Gideon suggested. Beside him Judy nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, it'll go much better this time," Judy nodded.

"Alright, but let Finnick and I pick the restaurant this time," Nick asked, making the whole table laugh. He took a deep breath and looked around. "H-hey, where's Travis?"

"Oh, uh..." Gideon exhaled sharply and scratched the back of his neck. "He's over in that corner. He's been feeling a bit down lately. I thought bringing him would cheer him up," he pointed to the ferret sitting alone.

"I'm gonna talk to him. Here, uh, hold my baby," Nick said, handing Finnick over to Gideon. Before the other fox could respond Nick was already off.

Travis sat alone at a table all by himself. Despite everyone around him being in such high spirits, the ferret still felt down. He looked to see Nick approaching him. The fox pulled out the chair next to him and sat down.

"...Hey, Nick..." Travis sighed. "What are you doing here?"

Nick gave Travis a kind smile and explained. "Well, Finnick's blacked out and wedding's aren't really our thing," the fox shrugged. "So, what's up with you?"

Travis sighed and looked out to the dance floor. "I know it sounds selfish... But watching those two dancing... I can't stop thinking about Duke. I was sure that I'd moved on. But ever since I saw him at the ZPD... he's all I think about."

"Well... I think that you should go see him. Talk to him. Let him know how you feel," Nick suggested.

"What would be the point of that? He's always in and out of jail. I don't think he's gonna change," Travis mumbled.

"You never know. From what I can tell he still cares about you. Maybe if you just see him once again tell him how you feel things might be better," Nick suggested.

"When you think about it, Finnick and Weaselton aren't that different. If I wasn't around with Finnick who knows where he'd be now. Maybe you should just be there for Duke, if he ever needs it. I think he just needs someone who hasn't given up on him."

"A-alright... I'll try it. I'll try talking to him," Travis nodded, wiping his eyes. "Heh. Thanks, Nick."

The fox nodded and stood up. "I think you should talk to Gideon first of all, he's pretty worried about you."

Nick returned to Gideon and collected Finnick once again. "Thanks, hope he wasn't in too much trouble."

"Oh, he was a little angel," Gideon snickered. "So where are you two headed?"

""Finnick and I have things to do tomorrow. After we're done with that we could drop by your place," Nick grinned.

"Alright. We'll see you then," Gideon waved as the other foxes were nearing the exit.

They walked through the parking lot. Nick sighed as he caught sight of the van. He already had the keys ready and unlocked the doors. First he opened the passenger side door and carefully placed Finnick inside, buckling the small fox in securely. It was when Nick got in from the other side and started the engine did the fennec start to stir.

"Nick. I'm drunk as fuck," the small fox commented. The next thing to come out of his mouth was a series of giggles. "H-hey, Nick. When are we gonna get married, huh?"

Nick shrugged and smiled at the idea. "I don't know. Maybe when we can afford matching rings." He backed the van out of the lot and they were soon on route back home.

"Love ya, Nick," Finnick sighed, slumping back in his seat and closing his eyes.

For the next few minutes Nick rode in silence, listening to the soft snores coming from Finnick. It was not too long that they were in the parking lot of the Grand Pangolin Arms. Nick found a place to park and cut the van off.

He unbuckled Finnick, kissing him gently on the forehead while he lifted the other fox up. "Let's get you to bed. We owe Mr. Big a favor tomorrow," Nick said gently, carrying his best friend into the lobby.
