The life of a traveling bard is one filled with action and adventure. Not only do the perils of exciting quests make for good storytelling later, but the legendary treasures one can acquire also make life easy living for months, or even years, to come.

So, when Myre heard about the monsters that have been popping up as of late, she couldn't help but to explore the rumor mill for some juicy tidbits.

"I hear that the monsters are actually animals gone mad from the way we're treating nature,"

"They say there's a fairy living in the woods who kidnaps people and turns them into wild beasts."

"The monsters aren't living, I tell you. They have skulls or heads and glowing red eyes."

These, and many others, are rumors that led Myre to the little hidey hole in the middle of nowhere. She recalled a song a bard had taught her a few years back. That singer that had the tones of an angel, but sang the song of an innocent creature who took a deal with a terrible devil, and became a devil himself. Perhaps, this creature is what is causing more of these monsters to appear, to make itself much less lonely, or to expand its foul influence throughout the realm? Either way, he's sure to have some sick loot, so Myre makes her way to the hidden entrance, and plumbs the dark depths, seeking out the lich's lair.

Quiet as a mouse, Myre squeezes through the dark corridors. The tunnels are coated in a chilly slime that gets all over her clothes. She shudders at the feeling, wondering what kind of ooze creature might call this place home, but it doesn't feel like its dissolving any of her, so it must not be anything particularly dangerous.

Soon, she pops out in a larger chamber, this one filled with strange artifacts glowing with power. She tries to wipe the slime off of her, but it clings to her clothing, becoming suddenly sticky. She tries, in vain, to pull her hands free from the slime, but it seems to creep over her form, forming long, coiling tendrils that hold her in place.

Rising up from behind her, eyes glow in the dark chamber as a figure emerges from behind. "Fascinating," the creature says, speaking up from the shadow s. "It has been some time since someone has disturbed my research. Who are you?"

Myre, snickering, uses one of her bardic tricks to slip herself free of his grasp.

The monster of the cave gasps as writhing tentacles feel for a body that is no longer there, and Myre slips free, still slimy, but no longer in its grasp. She smirks and faces him, a dagger in hand as she's ready to go up against the beast.

"A curious creature," the monster says, and soon slips closer into Myre's view.

The kobold gasps when she sees it, this slimy monster's shape ends in a snarl of eldritch appendages, yet its upper body is unmistakable.

"So, the monster is a traitor to my own race? Ha. How poetic this story shall be."

"And you come here to end me, do you?" the creature responds. "Yet, you refer to me as the monster. How typical of you adventuring lot."

More tentacles shoot out, grabbing Myre by the wrists and ankles and slamming her up against the wall. Pinning her there, the strange horror scoots closer, his eyes glowing bright with arcane power as he looks over her. "You are a magician of sorts, but not one whose study I can take. What do you offer me in return for the sparing of your life?"

Myre's response doesn't come quickly. Instead, she breathes raggedly as she looks down to the eldritch kobold that has a hold of her.

He frowns, tilting his head. "W... what's wrong with you? Have I tired you out already? I haven't even performed the proper spe-"

"Y... you know?" Myre admits. "I... I didn't think that this'd be so hot..."

The monster reels back, retracting his tentacles. "I... I beg your pardon!?" he gasps.

Myre slides down along the wall, fluttering her eyes as she looks up to him. "Oh... did I strike a nerve? Are you all alone in this cave with nobody to play with? That's actually really sad."

His eyes glow with a greater power as he reaches out for her with one of his tendrils, his clawed hand glowing in his powerful magic.

She lifts her hands up, wrapping her fingers around the tentacle, and brings it up to her mouth, rolling out her tongue, licking at the appendage.

The strange slime stuff that he's made of is surprisingly delightful, a taste that is on the tip of her tongue, but she can't quite place. Whatever it is, she wants more, and more she shall have, shoving the tentacle into her mouth, bobbing up and down along it.

"O... oooh!" The wizard says, his whole gelatinous body shaking. "T... that's certainly n-not the response I suspected."

She pulls her mouth free, lickng the last strands of goo from her lips. "Well, doctor, isn't science all about experimentation?" She says this, reaching down and pulling her top upwards ever-so-slowly.

Seeing this, his glowing eyes widen, and he shakes his head, covering his ears with his hands. "You're some kind of demon, tempting me with... with your perversity and...

"I'm just Myre," she says, lifting her shirt up over her head, showing off her underbelly to him. "And I'm looking to experiment a bit myself. But I can't just call you "monster" now can I?"

"Krazic..." he says, his tendrils gently approaching her now, moving up along her legs, under her leggings, caressing her sides, rubbing her cheeks. "My name is Krazic."

"A name to add to the fable," she sighs, crawling closer to him, her body shuddering as cool tendrils run up along her form, over her tail, between her legs. "Shall we make a story that everyone will want to recite?"
