Whist running away, the crazed rabbit yelled back "you can't get me!" and cackled. Running as fast as he could after her, Alex pointed his wand in front of him. "Crucio!" he cried. A red spark flew from his wand and hit the rabbit. She tripped over with a squeal and rolled over to look at Alex. The young deer skidded to a halt in front of her, his wand pointed right at her nose, breathing heavily. The rabbit whimpered at him, putting on big guilty eyes as Alex continued to point. "Go on Alex..." said a voice inside Alex's head. Alex closed his eyes and shook off the voice, breathing heavier. "You've got her Alex" said the voice again "she killed him...she deserves it" it added. Alex looked round quickly to see who was there before looking back at the rabbit. In front of him, a mist had formed. It crept towards Alex who didn't notice. The Meer Kat's head slowly formed, hissing at Alex before forming the full body behind him. Behind Alex, stood Voldemort, a typical looking Meer Kat you would have thought however his body was covered in scars and scratches. There was a chunk missing out his tail as it swung slowly behind him. His two eyes looked piercingly at Alex, his right eye moving in a separate direction on its own, his wand was by his side. "Do it!" he hissed at Alex. The deer wheeled round suddenly and raised his wand, but bleated in shock as the Kat waved his own, knocking Alex's wand down and out of his hand, he scurried to pick it up, quickly pointing it at Voldemort again. Voldemort grinned "So...WEAK" he said to Alex. Suddenly one of the Floo network fireplaces lit up in a green light and the red husky appeared from it, walking towards the Kat with a frown of determination on his face. "It was foolish of you to come here tonight Tyrin, the Aura's are on their way" said the husky in a calm voice, staring at the Meer Kat, whose right eye began to swivel in its socket wildly. "By which time I'll be long gone" said Voldemort, an evil smile spreading across his face. "And you...shall be dead" he added, moving his wand around in a small circle before bringing it above his head to cast a spell. The husky pushed Alex out of the way as he pointed his own wand, a red glow stretched out from his, a green glow from Voledmort's, clashing in the middle and creating a mighty spark of magic crackling and fizzing. The two wizards held on, each other trying to force their magic to one another, growling menacingly at one another. Voldemort pulled upwards, sending both spells up to the ceiling with a loud crash. Alex pulled out his wand as the Meer Kat was still looking up. "Stupify!" he shouted, a red spark firing at Voldemort, temporarily knocking him off guard. Voldemort roared and raised his own wand. "Avada-" he began to shout but was interrupted by Snow shouting "Expelliarmus!" and knocking the Kat's wand temporarily out of his paw. Voldemort cackled and whipped his wand up from the floor by a flick of his wrist, holding it in front of him, a huge flamed figure began to form, taking the shape of a wolf before engulfing Snowdog. Snowdog choked in the flame circle, growling as he waved his wand around, making the flame swirl round him more controllably. Growling, Voldemort made a wad movement as if he was swatting an annoying fly. The fire disappeared and the two stood still, staring one another down. Alex went to get up. Snow turned to Alex shouting "Alex no!" and Voldemort took his chance, pointing the wand at the husky and shouting "Avada Kedavera!" Snow pointed his own wand back just in time shouting "Expelliarmus!" The two beams of magic locked in combat once again, a louder spark was heard as the Meer Kat let it engulf him, screaming as he spread his arms, the magic smashing all the glass around him, sending shards to the floor. Voldemort growled menacingly and held his wand high into the air, the glass began to form above him. Snow gasped and formed a shield around himself and Alex as the shards made their way towards him. Flying through the shield, the glass turned to sand, temporarily blinding the deer and husky. Whipping his wand, the husky stood tall again, staring at the Meer Kat. The rabbit who had been whimpering on the floor since the battle began, stood up and began to shuffle towards her master. "My lord..." she squeaked, stretching out a hand. "My lord we have him...the two of them, the boy that lived and his protector! We can take them both!" she squeaked with a little menacing giggle. Voldemort frowned and pointed his wand at the husky who ducked out the way just as he shouted "Avada Kedavra!" The Kat gasped in shock as the green beam shot past the husky and into the chest of the rabbit. She let out a shrill squeal as it hit her chest, she doubled over as the spell began to make its way up to her heart, stopping it suddenly. The rabbit stopped squealing and flopped in a heap on the floor, silent, flimsy, her eyes rolled to the back of her head. "No!" cried Voldemort as the Floo network's all lit up at once. Looking up, Voldemort waved his wand around him. "We'll meet again, potter!" he shouted as he disappeared. The ministry squirrel gasped just as Voldemort disappeared. "He's back..." he whispered to himself * * *
