Sixthday dawned bright and early in Amistad. Skunktaur Baiyoshay of House Bluepaw woke groggily from hys alarm blaring. It took a few swipes of hys hand to find the blaring PADD and disable it. With a groan, hy rose from the bed. Baiyoshay was not normally a morning person. Hy preferred sleeping in like most other people do. However, hy had to maintain the roof over hys head. That meant waking up early in the morning to head off to work. Hy was not overly enamored with hys job, but it helped pay the bills and let hym stay in this apartment. It wasn't a luxurious life. Two bedrooms, two baths, a family/dining room, and a full-size kitchen. There was just enough room for two people to live comfortably. Being able to have separate spaces for the two of them was a nice bonus, seeing as Baiyoshay practiced piano in hys spare time.

Baiyo got out of the bed with a yawn and a neck scratch. Hys hair was all sorts of out of whack. Bed head was normal for hym ever since hy started sleeping alone. The tossing and turning from the unnaturalness of being the only one in hys bed was taking a slight toll on hym. Hys emotional well-being was being taxed from the lonely nights in bed. Hy had found ways of coping by hanging out with friends. It just wasn't the same, though. Having a roommate helped immensely with the emotional loneliness. While hy would have preferred having a bed partner next to hym every night, hy was not interested in hys roommate in that regard. Baiyoshay's interests lay with certain other people. A particular Human came to mind. Hy was excited for what tonight would bring.

Baiyoshay walked into hys personal bathroom and started hys morning routine. A warm shower to wake the body, teeth brushed for the day, fur combed dry, and claws perfectly clipped. Once freshened up and after tying hys hair back into its normal high ponytail, Baiyoshay found a nice feminine dress shirt to put on. Hy was ready to start the day. A few minor checks to make sure everything was proper and hy was out the door. Hys roommate was already up and cooking breakfast. From the smell, Baiyoshay guessed today was an omelet with all the trimmings. It was quite lucky that Zackery was such a good cook. It paid to have a gourmet chef as a roommate.

As Baiyoshay stepped in, the tiger Morph turned to regard his roommate. He was an Albino Siberian and the sweetest guy one could meet. He was a gentle soul, a real sweetheart to everyone he met. This was accentuated by the fact that he was a jovial, happy-go-lucky kind of guy. He wasn't the paragon of fitness by any stretch like most tiger Morphs usually are. Yet, he didn't care. He was who he was, and the world could burn if they didn't like it. He would do his own thing in this world. He gave Baiyoshay a smile that could brighten anyone's day.

"Morning, roomie," Zackery said to hym. "Hope you're hungry. Got a Denver-style omelet with your name on it."

Baiyoshay said kindly, "Thanks, Zackie. You're a doll." The blush that passed over Zackery's face was priceless. Yet, the caring and jovial smile never fell. It instead grew wider and even more joyful.

"Aw, shucks, Baiyo. You know I love to cook."

"Exactly why you're a doll. You're going to make someone happy one day." Zackery laughed good-naturedly. He tossed the cooked eggs onto a plate and passed them over to Baiyoshay. Hy took the plate and sat himself at the table. This had been somewhat of their usual morning banter since they became roommates several years ago. They ate quick enough to get out of the house on time, but savored the food prepared by a master level chef. Once the meal was done, they were off to their respective jobs: Zackery to a five-star place in Amistad proper, and Baiyoshay to the Amistad Police Department.

The Amistad Police Department was stationed inside the Public Safety Building. This was home for all part of law enforcement for the city and the suburbs. Most of the building was dedicated to the constables that roamed the city preserving the peace. That didn't mean, however, that they could stop crime from being committed. While Amistad and Chakona in general had much lower crime rates than, say, Terra, it still happened on occasion. Baiyoshay's cubhood dream was to help people. Hy was always trying to help hys parents with whatever chores or activities they were doing. They tried to help hym learn hys limitations and not get discouraged if hy failed. Hy was fortunate enough that he could do a job that was vital to law enforcement.

Hys disability prevented hym from securing most jobs. Hy could see where things were, but details used to escape hym. When he was a teenager, hy found that there were ways to gain more details at the cost of more energy. While useful, having to take frequent naps to allow the brain to settle down would not be conducive to a productive team member. Hy later found that hys abilities gave hym a significant advantage with regards to crime scene recreation for local law enforcement. The commissioner for Amistad granted hym special privileges with regards to recovery after using hys abilities. With that idea in mind, Baiyoshay became one of the best crime scene investigators in the business.

The job satisfied the helping others requirement since hy helped procure evidence that helped put many hard criminals away. Hys testimony and scene recreation gave the constables the necessary information to find the perpetrator nine times out of ten. Hy loved being able to use what hy had for the good of the community but hated seeing the worst side of civilization. That didn't deter hym from the job. Hy focused on getting justice done for those affected. That served as the path to maintain hys stride in life. There was a little help from a friend that hy loved dearly. Hy just wished shi was around a little more often.

Today was supposed to be a slow day for Baiyoshay. Normally, hy wasn't called onto a scene unless there was something about it that puzzled the other investigators. It was also usual for Baiyoshay to work high profile or extreme cases. Hy was especially needed when there was little initial evidence of a crime. Being able to see when the subject died offered a lot of information for investigators to work off. Hy was a valid and treasured member of law enforcement.

Baiyoshay walked into the office to the usual cacophony of noise of a police department. Multiple conversations, phones ringing, radio's going off everywhere. The multitude of bodies moved around the cramped office in somewhat organized chaos. Baiyoshay searched through the crowd to find hys assistant. The impeccably dressed lynx morph was already busy at her desk. Several reports from different cases were scattered around. Every so often, she would grab one, study it for a few seconds, then put it in a new pile in whatever organization she had in her mind. Her name plate was only slightly buried in the stacks around her. Baiyoshay could just make out the "Detective Angelica Dohan" underneath. Hy could only chuckle at her hard work and drive. She was the best partner hy had in a long time.

"Well, Miss Dohan. Seems you got an early start to the day."

"I had to get started on the Brooks case report. Chief is expecting an update with the Hanson case later today as well."

"Alright, I get it. Back to the grind. I'll talk to hir when I get the chance." Baiyoshay took to hys desk and got started with hys day. Hy huffed slightly to hymself in exhaustion. While he loved hys job, it still drained hym doing what hy did every day. "At least it's Sixthday," hy told hymself quietly. Hy smiled slightly when he remembered what was coming after. The day didn't seem so bad after all.

First things first: check on the minutes for today. The special in the cafeteria was Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies from Chakona. Hy half wanted to stay for lunch just to get that meal. Hy hoped today would remain slow. Several other detectives in their unit had been sent on various investigations around the city. Baiyoshay hadn't been assigned anything for the day, so hy was free to get caught up on paperwork and give that report to their boss. There were several other minor notes that didn't bear remembering, so Baiyoshay moved on to the cases hy had right now. There were two murder cases, one of them being the Brooks case Angelica had mentioned. Hanson was a kidnapping case that had been in the works for about two weeks now. The investigation was still on going, but there has been no sign of the victim since. There have also been no demands made. The entire department was worried about the ramifications of the time since the kidnapping.

Baiyoshay had already written up the report, including what hy found during what the department called hys "séance". It was considered freaky to those who hadn't seen it. Baiyoshay didn't mind the stares too much. Hy'd experienced worse when hys family had been living on Terra. Hy was lucky they had moved when hy was a cub. Even hys kindness would not have saved hym from the wrath of prejudiced people. Haters were going to hate whether you where an angel or the devil himself. That was just the way life goes.

Unfortunately, the séance didn't exactly give much. Hy had gone to the victim's work and home to ascertain anything of note. That took several days of searching through the ambient recording that Baiyoshay could recreate. The problem was that hy could only go so far before hys abilities could no longer distinguish anything. After a certain point, it just wasn't worth spending anymore manpower or time looking any further back. Baiyoshay was able to pull some necessary information for establishing routine and possible suspects, but nothing came from what Baiyoshay could see. The victim was an average, normal person trying to make a life for herself.

Hy flipped through the Hanson report one more time, looking for anything hy or Angelica had missed. The facts were straightforward but offered no comfort to the family. Olivia Hanson was a vixen Morph, married to a Mark Hanson. They had two kids together. One was three and the other was six. The couple had been married for a few years now, coming up on their eighth wedding anniversary. Mark had reported his wife missing after she failed to come home after work. The police found her PTV hidden in the back woods to the north of the city. Nothing of value was taken but there had been clear signs of a struggle. Window on the driver's side had been busted in. There was blood from two different people splattered over the driver's side. They could confirm that one set was Olivia's. The other was not coming up properly. No database they had access to could identify who that blood sample belonged to.

Baiyoshay was stumped with the conundrum that hy was presented with. There were very few witnesses after Olivia's disappearance. She left work in Amistad proper per recordings from the brothel she worked at. It seemed to be a standard day for her. She didn't really have any enemies or estranged relationships. In fact, she was actually liked by the others at her job and the clients she served. There was no evidence of foul play by anyone in either her professional or social life. No criminal record of any kind to indicate anything illegal she was involved with. There should be no reason why she would just up and left her family. There were no marital problems, no family disputes, nor was there any indication of malcontent.

Mark was adamant that Olivia would not just leave her kids. She loved those two and would never abandon them. He was convinced that someone had attacked his wife. He didn't think this was about money or possessions. That left sexual assault, which put the entire division on high alert. If that was the case, they had a limited time before Olivia would end up dead. The two investigators that had been trying to track down her PTV were now looking in the local area to find any sign of the missing vixen. They were hopeful that something would crop up, but that hope was slowly fading. Time was of the essence and they were losing it in rapid fashion.

Baiyoshay sighed as hy set the report down. Hy had to keep pushing on. They would find her, hy had vowed to the husband. Hopefully alive--if not, then they could give Mark and their kids closure. It was the least they could do. With that in mind, Baiyoshay stood from hys desk. The time was approaching for that status update their boss wanted. It wouldn't do to keep hir waiting. That was a sure-fire way to piss hir off.

Hy hurried over to the door marked with hir name. Detective Chief Chakat Nine-Lives was a cantankerous longtail Chakat that had been working in law enforcement for decades. Shi had been through just about everything one could expect with the law enforcement life. The first twenty years of hir service were in Europe, specifically in the boot that was called Italy years ago. When shi came to Chakona, shi quickly became the lead detective. The times did become easier on hir old bones since there was significantly less crime here. However, that didn't mean that crime was non-existent. There were always bad eggs where ever you go.

Baiyoshay knocked on the door to Nine-Lives' office with a confidence that was not quiet all there. While Nine-Lives was amicable most days, the Hanson case was really starting to tick hir off. That anger came out in the gruff order to enter. Once Baiyoshay came in, the grizzled old 'Kat seemed to deflate slightly. Hir tired stare bored into Baiyoshay's milky white eyes. While Baiyoshay couldn't see exactly the color, hy knew shi was looking right at hym. It was time to face the music.

"Detective Baiyoshay. I'm glad you could spare the time to come see me. Do you have an update on the Hanson case?"

Baiyoshay swallowed heavily and gave the bad news. "Mrs. Hanson is still missing at this time. The reconstruction I was able to gain from her car showed she was stopped somewhere along the way home. Multiple suspects attacked her and pulled her out of the vehicle. One of them drove said vehicle into the forests to the north of Breezewood while another vehicle took her out of the area."

"Did you get an effective read on who these culprits were?" Here was the moment of truth. Baiyoshay did get a little, but for some reason, something was affecting what hy could see. Instead of the normal representation of what hy would call impressions, these figures showed up as dark masses. It was like they had no emotion, no feeling, no life associated with them. They were like the apotheosis of being alive. That was an uncomfortable thought to entertain.

"Unfortunately, no. For some reason, I couldn't get anything off of them. It was like they were dead." Nine-Lives' face was a stony mask of professionalism. Hir tail betrayed hir true feelings of agitation and frustration. Hir ears were laid back. A small growl escaped hir chest. Baiyoshay didn't comment on it seeing as hy felt the same way. Things were turning from bad to worse in their department.

"Explain."

Baiyoshay swallowed hard before saying, "In order to give a full explanation, I need to give a cliff-notes overview of how my Talents work." Nine-Lives nodded and motioned for hym to continue. "As you know, all beings produce bio-electrical fields. These fields interact with everything we touch. Following with me so far?"

"I believe so. I'm guessing that your Talent can read these bio-fields?"

"Close. Most objects keep records via that electrical field in the atoms that make them up. It is the literal definition of 'if the walls could talk.' What I can do is discern those fields and recreate the imagery in my head based on that."

"What does it mean, then, if you are having difficulties seeing something?"

"Well, like most recorders, trying to replay immense data often causes discrepancies if not calibrated right. That applies for major high traffic areas. If I try to find someone in a crowded mall, the overlapping signatures would make finding them like finding a needle in a haystack. Add in that time also degrades everything, and it becomes harder and harder for me to find that specific person the further back I try to look." Baiyoshay took a pause to recollect hys thoughts. The way the recreation looked to hym didn't show any signs of being old or having gone through much degradation. There was no reason why the reconstruction wouldn't show anything on the suspects.

Nine-Lives asked, "What about the Hanson reconstruction? You were on scene within days of Mrs. Hanson's disappearance."

"Very true, shir. That is what concerns me. I haven't tested this theory out myself, but it is very possible to confuse my senses using dampeners. If I had to take a guess, they knew something about me, or the fact that I was assigned to the case. That would be the only reason why they would wear such equipment just for a kidnapping." The air turned cold around them. The dread they both felt was amplified by the emotional feedback loop that was created. Now that shi understood hys weakness, Nine-Lives was certain that there was a mole in hir department. How else would they know to exploit that?

"Is that why you couldn't get a full read on them? They blocked their emotional signature?"

"It's a running theory, shir. I would have to test it extensively to confirm it. What I can tell you is that all the suspects we're looking for are Human. They have no fur, no tail, and are definitely bi-ped. We may be looking at bigotry for motivation."

"And that would make this case a nightmare." Nine-Lives put hir head in hir paws and sighed deeply. "I understand, detective." This case was getting to the point of being an incident. If they didn't get a handle on this, the mayor of Amistad would. If shi got involved, Nine-Lives was going to receive the lecture of a life time. "Alright, thanks for the update. I have two detectives trying to find her right now, so I want you to continue analyzing those other signatures. See if you can't get something out of them."

"I can do that, shir."

"Good. Dismissed."

Baiyoshay returned to hys desk in a slump. While not a full reaming, hy knew that Nine-Lives was severally disappointed and frustrated with hys lack of any new information. They were on the clock and had nothing further to give to the family. They were failing in their duty. Baiyoshay laid against the backrest of the taur chair at hys desk. Hys unseeing eyes looked up to the ceiling with a groan. Hys hands then went up to rub the stress that had accumulated there. Angelica noticed the grumpy Skunktaur and reacted as cool as a cucumber.

"Shi didn't like the update, did shi?"

"Nope. Not one bit."

"What's our next step, then?" Baiyoshay brought hys head down and sighed. Their next step would be a tough one to figure out. Baiyoshay was pretty confident that there was nothing else hy could gleam from the recreation hy had. If the two detectives couldn't find anything in their investigation, then they were truly in trouble. There was just no way that someone could just disappear like the way Olivia Hanson had. The probability of that was too small to consider.

"Next step is to wait for more information. Nine-Lives has two already looking. We'll just have to wait." No further words were spoken on the subject. They both hated the waiting game. It was the biggest waste of time a detective could be doing. Especially when said detective was easily bored and/or distracted. Angelica was lucky that she always seemed to find something to do during times like that. She was a workaholic that didn't seem to care that she was one. She kept on trucking on without a complaint or care. They were fortunate to have picked her up when they did. "Hey, did we ever finalize the Runner case report?" Baiyoshay asked after a few minutes.

"I finished the last section just yesterday. Should be in the share drive."

"Got it, thanks, Miss Dohan." Baiyoshay continued on with hys day. Hy filed reports, got updates on cases hy was working on, and joined in on some experiments in the forensics lab. A productive day for law enforcement.

The work day ended without any fanfare. The other investigators and detectives went on home for the day after their nightshift replacement arrived. Baiyoshay said goodbye to several of hys teammates and went home in somewhat high spirits. The day had ended without much change in terms of the cases, but Baiyoshay was looking forward to what came after. The date that Travis had invited hym to was just around the corner, and hy couldn't stand the wait any longer. Hy hurried home as fast as hy could to ready hymself.

Baiyoshay was usually male dominant, as most Skunktaur were. However, unlike most others, the reason for that was because being in male phase helped while out on the field. Having breasts as large as hy did didn't feel good when constrained by protective vests and other equipment. It also helped convey the professional attitude that Nine-Lives demanded of all hir detectives. Baiyoshay had been in male phase up until last night when he consciously changed into female phase. It was much easier to change right before bed and with a full dinner to replace the lost nutrients.

Hy knew that Travis would not care either way seeing as he had been fully accepting of hys Skunktaur heritage. What made Baiyoshay take this decision was to be more appealing to the Human in a carnal sense. Baiyoshay knew that Humans had a rough time dealing with hermaphrodites. Skunktaurs were especially hard since they changed phases so drastically and obviously. It would make things simpler and easier if hy used hys female phase to entice the Human before exploring the other side of hym.

Baiyoshay decided on a simple red halter top that showed off hys assets. Hy wasn't vain by nature, but hy took care of hymself quiet nicely. Hy also was blessed to be exceedingly beautiful in either form. The orange-red hair was silky smooth like the rest of hym. Hy decided to keep hys usual high ponytail after a good brushing. Hy wasn't big on jewelry since they caught in hys fur while hy was working. Deciding to continue to forgo the limited amount hy had in hys apartment, hy stepped out into the main room to find Zackery coming inside. He looked up to find Baiyoshay coming around the corner looking amazing.

Zackery whistled appreciatively then asked, "You've got a hot date tonight, roomie?" Baiyoshay blushed and nodded shyly. Hys roommate smiled broadly and stepped over to give an encouraging hug.

"Whoever they are, they're going to be knocked dead! You look fabulous!"

"Heh, thanks, Zackie. I hope everything goes smoothly tonight."

"It will, roomie. Have faith." Faith is an interesting word to use. That's something that Baiyoshay had been holding on to for a long time. After meeting that strange Chakat youth all those years ago, shi told hym about something that was going to go down. That hy would be part of rescuing a lost soul who lost his way. That hy would bring light and joy to someone who desperately wanted to be pulled from the dark. All that hy needed was a little bit of faith.

"Thanks, Zackie. Well, I'm off. I'm not sure if I'll be home tonight, so don't wait up."

"Have a good night and have fun!" Baiyoshay gave one last hug before heading out the door. There was a spring in hys step as hy made hys way to the bus stop. Hy sported a grin that made every Chakat around hym smile as well. There were very few things that could possibly bring hym down now.

Travis had said to meet him at a local seafood place in Gull Cove. It was just a few blocks away from the docks that brought in the fishing harvest and some oversized materials. Baiyoshay had been here plenty of times for business and casual excursions. Hy liked the smell of the sea air and the feel of the sand betwixt hys paws. While getting all those fine grains stuck in one's fur is normally itchy, Baiyoshay found that hys Talent kept the sand from crawling up into unmentionable places. Hy was lucky in that regard. Zackery had complained extensively when he had come home from a beach trip. Said that he had sand in places sand should never be. Baiyoshay had a hunch that he had been buried as a prank and didn't appreciate being the punchline.

Baiyoshay stepped off the bus that had taken hym this far. Hy quickly scanned hys surroundings for any sign of hys date for the evening. Hy quickly ascertained that Travis wasn't here yet, so hy moved off to the side to wait. Hy didn't have to wait long before a familiar presence came around the corner. Another bus pulled up at the normal seven-minute interval to drop off its passengers. One of them was a Human male wearing his iconic hat. As he stepped off, his eyes traversed the crowd. Baiyoshay gave a wave that Travis instantly caught and returned in spades. He quickly hurried over.

"Sorry I'm late," he started. "Missed the first bus and had to wait for the next one."

"Calm down, love. I haven't been here long. Relax." Travis took a calming breath. Within a few moments, he was back under control and ready for the night's festivities to begin.

"Okay, I'm calm. Sorry about that. Just nervous."

"There's no need to be, love," Baiyoshay said gently. "You don't have to worry about it. I'm just glad I get to spend the evening with you." Hy stepped up to Travis and hooked his arm in hys own. Hy leaned up to give a lick-kiss to Travis' cheek. As per his usual, Travis blushed heartily. However, he didn't shy away this time. He smiled so brightly that Baiyoshay was sure hy could feel it. The ebb and flow of the Human's emotions was intoxicating in its sweet and spicy nature. This was going to be a good date.

"Well, shall we get this date started, Shir Baiyoshay?"

"Yes, love. Let's." And they were on their way.

Travis led them to the restaurant which was in a beachside shopping mall. The name that Baiyoshay was told was "The Sunset Grotto". A nice establishment focusing mostly in the seafood department. It was a little more pricy than other places, but the food and service was second to none. Travis was willing to pay the price if it meant giving Baiyoshay a memorable evening. Hy was worth it just by proxy of being the person to help Travis reach his full potential. He was sure that if he hadn't met Baiyoshay, he would have been too chicken to make any move. Granted, it was possible that Serenity would have made a move, but that would have ended in disaster for both of them. Lady Luck seemed to smile on him for having so many wonderful and kind people enter his life.

The receptionist greeted them as they were guided to a table. Like most places on Chakona, the seats were built with taurs in mind. Baiyoshay easily hopped into the booth and motioned for Travis to sit beside hym. Travis took the offered spot and felt a sense of déjà vu come over him. It seemed that he was destined to always sit beside his date rather than across. He didn't mind that. It allowed him to cuddle and get whiffs of their lovely scent. Speaking of, Baiyoshay smelled amazing. Hy smelt like warm cinnamon apples. It was heady and enticing. Travis wished he could shove his face into Baiyoshay's fur and breathe that scent in.

Their waiter came by to take their orders. There was a special for two that sounded good, so they took that option. There were several available dishes that sounded appetizing to Travis. They decided on Chakonan Hush-puppies for an appetizer. Travis went with the house special of Stonecloud's Tuna for his entrée while Baiyoshay went with a shrimp pasta in an alfredo sauce. For drinks, they were paired with a wine and given water with lemon to stay hydrated. Their meal also came with a dessert to share that would come after the entrees. The waiter left to start their order which left the two to enjoy the atmosphere.

They talked about several topics as time passed. They shared stories, interests, dreams, and maybe a few fears they had. It was nice to talk to someone who was so wise in philosophy and understanding where someone was coming from. Travis guessed that having to be an investigator trained hym to be fluent in people and their feelings. Travis was a little nervous about oversharing things that could cause problems. The more they talked, the more it seemed that his fear of overburdening was unfounded. Baiyoshay offered insight into things and gave a perspective that Travis hadn't even considered. It was similar to what he had done with Serenity before, but Baiyoshay's method was different. Serenity offered a lot of emotional support during those talks. Baiyoshay's took that support and offered practical application.

The whole time they were talking, Baiyoshay had been getting brazen with a few comments. Travis had been able to match hym for now as courage was at its all-time high. Baiyoshay had been meticulous about letting his courage grow as the conversation progressed. They traded viewpoints, stories, and opinions about relationships. The whole undertone gave Travis the idea that Baiyoshay was doing this intentionally to tell him something. While he normally was a dunce, the comments were almost what he needed to get the picture. He always did say that he needed a two-by-four to the head to understand relationships.

Dinner ended with an angel food cake with strawberries to share. Once they were done, they paid the bill and headed out to the beach. The sun had already set and the twin moons were out in the sky. Travis led them down to the sandy shore where other moonlight walkers were traversing. Heading down the beach hand in hand, the two enjoyed the night air. The sound of the lapping waves and the laughter of people gave peace and joy to the area. With the backdrop of the city lights, the couple enjoyed the sand and waves. The whole experience was something that eased Travis' mind away from the dread of his insecurities. There was no need to fear since Baiyoshay was giving him all the green lights.

Skunktaur Date

They walked hand in hand together till they decided that they should start heading back to East Hill. The weekend was upon them which meant fun was to be had. However, neither of them considered themselves night owls. Travis had pulled night shifts and missions so he knew he could stay up the whole night with little effect for tomorrow. Any more than two days of that, and he started getting a little cranky. He didn't know Baiyoshay's tolerance so the smart decision was to get hym back home at a reasonable time. As he guided them back to the bus stop, Baiyoshay inquired about what else he had planned. A moment of panic befell him as he considered the question. He didn't know what the intention of that question was. Better play it safe than sorry.

"Well, I'm up for a lot of different things. Just depends on how late you want to go." Baiyoshay took some time to think about the activities they could get up to. There were a few carnal ones hy would keep for later. A couple wholesome ones were also appealing to try. Hy was pretty sure Travis would be okay with most of them. With that in mind, Baiyoshay gave hys answer.

"Well, I don't quite want the night to end just yet. How about we go to your place, love? I'm sure we can find ways to entertain ourselves." That salacious tone hy took towards the latter half gave Travis tingles up his spine. Baiyoshay was really laying it on that hy was interested.

"Uh, sure. We can do that." Travis didn't know what to expect when they got home, but he was pretty dang sure he was going to like it.

The door was hastily opened as the Human and Skunktaur made their way inside. Ever since they sat together on the bus, Baiyoshay had been giving Travis steamy looks. The kind of looks that told the Human that he was in for a wild ride. Travis was sure that something was going to go down. Sexual tension had been building since the date started, gradually getting more and more intense as the night went on. Now that they were inside, the tension seemed to come to a heated head. The resulting passion was displayed when Baiyoshay grabbed Travis and slammed him into the wall. It didn't hurt like the sound described. Travis had been through a lot worse. The kiss hy gave eased him down from the adrenaline rush.

Travis was surprised at the sudden intimacy thrusted upon him. It was a little faster than he anticipated would come, but wasn't expecting this much aggression. He kind of liked it. It was definitely something Travis was interested seeing in Baiyoshay. The usually calm and collected Baiyoshay being aggressive was a real treat to experience. Judging by how insistent Baiyoshay was, he was expecting to savor this treat for most of the night. Until they pass out at least.

"What's gotten into you, Baiyo?" he asked when they finally broke apart. When Baiyoshay looked up at him with hys unseeing eyes, Travis could still tell that a fire burned behind them. A toothy grin split the Skunktaur's muzzle that scared and aroused him.

"You've been teasing me all night. While I appreciated it, I want more." Hy licked Travis' nose and lips in fast and powerful strokes. He tried to use his own tongue to fight back and match Baiyoshay's desire. After a few more minutes of intense licking and kissing, they stopped to regain their breaths.

"Wow," Travis said once he could speak again. "That was intense. Really, what's going on? You're usually not this aggressive."

Baiyoshay gave a sharp growl before saying, "Fun fact about skunks: their courtship rituals usually end up bloody. Lots of growling, biting, and fighting for dominance. For most of my kin, that has been removed from our genes. But for me?" Here, Baiyoshay made hys point by biting Travis' neck.

"Oh, fuck!" he yelled as he felt teeth sink into his flesh. It wasn't enough to draw blood, but just enough to get the point across. When he was released, Baiyoshay gently licked where hy had bitten. It was almost akin to an apology. Not that Baiyoshay needed to apologize.

"I sort of like a little rough play thanks to our mutual friend. And you are going to enjoy every second of it." Baiyoshay finalized with by grabbing Travis' hands and dragging him to the living room. Baiyoshay then started to strip Travis of his clothes. The first response Travis wanted to do was to shut this whole thing down. That feeling was squashed by his desire for the sexy Skunktaur before him.

Once stripped of all his clothes, he was pushed to sit on the couch. He looked up to Baiyoshay who merely smirked at him. That grin had so much behind it. It was shocking to be the object of so much desire. Even after being on the receiving end of Serenity's loving gaze, he still wasn't quiet used to it. His eyes were drawn to Baiyoshay's hands as they moved up hys waist sensually. Travis couldn't take his eyes off as they went up to brush the sides of hys significant breasts constrained by hys halter top. The move continued to hys hair where hy pulled the hair tie that kept hys red-orange hair in that usual high ponytail. Once released from their shackles, Baiyoshay's hair fell to frame hys cute muzzle and beautiful eyes.

The next thing to be removed was hys halter top. Hy grabbed the bottom and gave a slight tug. The jiggle that resulted hypnotized Travis. He knew he should pull his eyes away, but the enchanting sight just wouldn't let him go. Baiyoshay could feel through hys Talent how much Travis was enjoying the show hy was giving. With a full tug, the halter top released the bounty they held. They were much bigger than Serenity's, easily almost the size of his head. He swallowed hard as he stared at the reddish-brown peaks that stared back at him. They were much longer than he had anticipated. He had a little thought that wanted to make itself known, but it was filed away for later. For now, he just wanted to suck on them.

"Enjoying so far, love?" Baiyoshay asked with a teasing grin. Travis could only nod mutely. "Good. We're going to have some fun, you and I." Baiyoshay sat down on hys belly and leaned over. Travis then noticed that he had grown fully erect in the time since they came into his home. He blinked in shock as Baiyoshay grabbed him in hys gentle paws. "Oh, yes. So much fun."

Travis went cross-eyed as a lick sent pleasure up his spine. The licks then turned to all out sucking which made him groan. Baiyoshay smirked internally at the reactions hy was getting. That encouraged hym to go faster and harder with the oral play. After teasing Travis for a time, hy pulled off with a small pop. Baiyoshay gave a few nips with hys grooming teeth. Travis laughed at the tickling sensation that gave. A chuckle escaped from the Skunktaur as hy repositioned to look into Travis' eyes.

"Wow, Baiyo." Travis said with a laugh. "That's different. I didn't expect that at all."

"You're not supposed to expect anything. This is an adventure for both of us to travel."

"Oi, philosophy during sex? What's next, me playing bass?"

"We can do that next time. Maybe with Serenity joining us?" Travis sputtered in shock, then laughed from deep in his belly. He knew that Serenity would totally join in on that. Hell, he half expected that shi might even make a picture for the occasion. In that moment, he knew that everything would be alright. Even if he had several partners at the same time, he knew that there would be no jealousy from any of them. Only thing he had to do was get his own jealousy under control. Guess that's his next project for the foreseeable future.

"Sure. If you can convince hir, we might do something like that."

"Oh, shi won't take much convincing. For now, though, we're only getting started on our night. You ready for this, love?"

"I think so."

"Good. Cause I think I want you to give these some attention." Baiyoshay shoved hys breasts into his face. He obliged and gave them kisses before moving to a nipple. His courage was allowing him to be a bit more adventourous and bold with his actions. As he suckled, Baiyoshay gave him a satisfied sigh. "Yeah, that's it, love. You like these furry titties?" Travis gave a sound of agreement and sucked harder. Baiyoshay hissed at the pleasure seemed to mount in hys breasts.

Baiyoshay wasn't idle with hys hands. One held Travis close, making sure to shove as much as hy could into him. The other had reached down to continue playing with Travis' lower half. Hys saliva made Travis nice a slippery for hys hand. Baiyoshay could feel the wet heat grow in hys own nether region as they indulged in each other. Once they had enough of the foreplay, Baiyoshay pulled him off.

"Alright, love. That's enough. Time for the main course." Hy turned around and provided Travis with a full view of what hy had to offer. He should have had an instinct to avoid this view since like their feral cousins, Skunktaurs could also spray. Instead of fear, there was a slight desire for something Travis was sure would get him in trouble. He filed that away as well and focused on the here and now.

He kneeled behind Baiyoshay and decided to get a taste first. With the same gentleness Baiyoshay gave to him, he gave a tentative lick. Hy was sweet, which Travis found strange. Did all morphs taste so good? He was near three for three. Serenity, Sequoia, and Baiyoshay all tasted amazing when he had heard that genitals usually didn't. He didn't care, though. He loved making his partners feel good, so he would have put up with it anyway. Since he enjoyed the taste, he guessed that there would be more times for oral action.

Baiyoshay growled appreciatively. Hy involuntarily bucked and ground hys pussy against Travis' tongue to increase the pressure. Travis applied a few techniques he had learned from Serenity which caused Baiyoshay to start to shudder. Hys legs gave out from under hym, forcing hym to hys side. Travis went with hym to continue the pleasurable feeling. Baiyoshay further spread hys hind legs further to allow better access. There was a slight need that hy had which hy hoped Travis would do.

"Love?" Travis hummed in response, to which Baiyoshay gasped in pleasure. Hy focused on the request that hy wanted and asked, "Please, get in me? I want you to ravage me." Travis grinned to himself and moved up to give Baiyoshay what hy wanted. He positioned himself above hys mound and grinded a bit to get some lubrication. Once he was ready, he prodded his tip against Baiyoshay.

"Ready?"

"Do it, love." He pressed in. The warm and welcoming heat was intoxicating. They both gasped as they enjoyed the carnal pleasures of the flesh.

They made love on the floor of the living room for a while before moving to the bedroom. They were able to use the backboard and some pillows to allow Baiyoshay to sit up. That brought them close enough to share in kisses and allow Travis to play with Baiyoshay's breasts again. They continued to enjoy themselves on the bed till they both climaxed. During that, Baiyoshay did something that was not usual for the love play Travis and Serenity did. Baiyoshay leaned as far as hy could and sunk hys sharp teeth in warm flesh. The mixture of pain and pleasure prolonged his orgasm. Baiyoshay growled aggressively as the coppery taste of blood filled hys muzzle.

Once Travis was spent, Baiyoshay released him. Soft licks helped clean the wound and give some aftercare. Travis had just enough energy to crawl up Baiyoshay's body to give hym one last kiss. They cuddled together in the afterglow for a few minutes trying to regain their breaths. Baiyoshay snuggled and sighed happily.

"Thank you, love. Sorry about the bite. It just suddenly came over me," hy whispered in the dark. Travis gave a sleepy nod and yawned. He didn't even care that he was probably bruised on his shoulder. He would heal up in time.

"It's fine. What's pleasure without a little pain, right?

"You're a goof," Baiyoshay responded with a happy sigh. Hy ruffled Travis' hair and got him wrapped up with hys tail behind him. "Get some sleep. You did wonderfully." Travis didn't respond as he was fast asleep. He had tuckered himself out from all the work he put into their playtime. Baiyoshay smiled fondly as Travis buried himself into hys cleavage. Serenity had warned Baiyoshay he was a snuggler. Hy didn't mind one bit, though. This was the perfect way to end the night. However, Baiyoshay's good mood slowly drained away as hy remembered what the mutual friend had said earlier that week.

Dark times were coming. They couldn't be stopped, only prepared for. There would be pain and suffering coming for them all. Baiyoshay sighed forlornly as thoughts of the future stole away all the happiness of this night. Hy rubbed Travis' hair as a way to comfort hymself. Hy hoped and prayed to whatever deities existed that they would come out of the trials in one piece. Hy didn't want to lose the possible future they could all have. Travis was the lynchpin to everything. If they lose him, they would lose everything they wanted. Baiyoshay closed hys eyes and tried to get some sleep. As hy slowly drifted off, hys last thoughts gave a warning that went unheard.

Please, love. Don't lose hope. Don't succumb to despair. If you do, you will lose what makes you Human. Then all will be lost...
