It was a splendid and lovely day on the planet Mobius and of course it's hero, Sonic the Hedgehog was running at his well know supersonic speed. And, sure enough, the Babylon Rogues airship was heard and, the leader of the Rogues shot out with his Extreme Gear, the Type-J sailing around and it indeed was, Sonic's most irritating rival, Jet the Hawk. Sonic growled, this wasn't the time for Jet to butt into his personal business. But Zack looked on in curiosity. It had been a long time since the couple had seen Jet and..it looked like Jet had a glow up, instead of the gangly and skinny teenage hawk the two knew, Jet was now toned, taller, and slender. He also had a no-sleeve vest that went to his midriff and a faux fur trim along the armholes of the vest and red and black flame patterned jeans that blended into the birds signature boots.

"What do you want Jet, now is not a good time! And, you're butting your feathered ass into business that isn't yours!" Sonic snapped. While he didn't hate Jet, the two had a respect for each other after the World Grand Prix's that taken place when they were teenagers but, after the first one, Sonic still held a grudge against Jet after the hawk one the race in Sand Ruins. "Sorry Sonic, but I'll be with Jet, maybe you'll join us when you're in a more civilized and better mood, but I'm sure you can talk to Tails or Knuckles. Later babe." Zack said softly then blew a kiss to Sonic and then, Jet shot off with Zack, leaving Sonic shell-shocked as he sat on the picnic blanket and the hedgie sighed then groaned in annoyance and flopped on his back. "What a date this turned to be." He huffed and gathered his stuff, putting his sneakers back on and walked home, deciding to sleep alone tonight.

Next morning at his Uncle Chuck's Chili Dog restaurant, Sonic talked to Tails what had happened on his date with Zack. "And that harpy with a dick came in and swooped Zack off! I'm telling you Tails, Jet wants to date Zack and steal him from me!" Sonic complained as he took a big bite of his chili dog. Tails' eyes were wide as he heard everything. And he loves you, Zack wouldn't dump you for Jet and, honestly bro, you need to let go of your grudge against Jet. I let go of mine with Wave, and even though it took a while but thanks to Zack, Knuckles let go of his grudge with Storm, but with you and Jet...it's like a bomb waiting to blow." Tails said. Sonic huffed and crossed his arms, "I can never let go Tails...Jet robbed me of my dignity after that race in Sand Ruins...he humiliated me. It was one of the worst moments of my life. And I can never forgive anyone who does that to me." Sonic said. Tails then looked at his brother. He knew that Sonic was one to hold a grudge and if things got personal, Sonic would do anything to make sure things never go down that route again. Tails remembered when one of Eggman's Obliterator Bots nearly killed the fox and left him badly damaged, Sonic nearly teared Eggman apart but luckily Sonic calmed down and looked after his buddy, but when it came to Zack, things would take a whole new level if things got personal.

The two's ears perked when their heard laughing and giggling as Jet and Zack entered the building with Jet's arm around Zack's shoulder, Sonic growling softly and gripping his plastic drink cup tightly. "Sonic..." Tails said. Sonic huffed and crossed his arms, but still kept a tight grip on his cup. "So, I'll see you at the skate park Jet?" Zack asked. Jet grinned and winked, "You bet. See you later." Jet then walked off with Zack smiling and then gave Tails a brotherly kiss to his cheek. Sonic raised his eyebrow, "And just where have you been?" He asked. Zack gave his boyfriend a smile, "Jet showed me around Babylon Garden, it's beautiful and things have changed a lot over the past years. Sonic weakly looked at his boyfriend and then growled as he then snapped his cup in half making Tails squeak in surprise. Sonic's Uncle Chuck walked up hearing the commotion. Uncle Chuck turned to Tails for translation. "Sonic's convinced Jet's trying to steal Zack from him after Jet burst in on their date last night." The fox said. "What happened then Uncle Chuck?" Tails asked. Amadeus and Jules never spoke to each other again after their fight but...they managed to patch things up after Bernie made them talk and soon things were better again. But...knowing Sonic and Jet...I don't think things are ever gonna get better between those two." Chuck sighed as he looked at his nephew's retreating back. Tails felt bad, he knew his best friend loved Zack deeply and the two had a deep love for each other but since Jet's now involved he knew things were gonna get heated. "This is gonna be a long week..." Tails sighed.

And, indeed it was...days had passed and soon enough Zack and Jet were hanging out more leaving Sonic in the dust and Sonic was now upset that his boyfriend was now spending time with Jet and less time with him, along with the jealousy and hatred Sonic was now harboring for Jet. Everyone stood very clear away from Sonic, when Sonic was mad or angry, it was best to keep your distance. But at least today Sonic was now calm and relaxed as he was running on a treadmill and Zack came down, giggling as he wore one of his fancy tailcoats and his cute top-hat Vector got him for his birthday, and his comfy dress pants. "Well for one thing, you're faster than a peregrine falcon, faster than a cheetah and if you run real fast on a treadmill...your speed will probably make it malfunction and blow up in a spontaneous fire." Zack giggled. Sonic rolled his eyes and smiled, kissing his boyfriends cheek. Then raised his eyebrows at his loves fancy outfit. "Where are you going all dolled up babe?" Sonic asked as he gently stepped off and stretches his legs. "Going out to dinner with Jet." Zack smiled as he grabbed his jacket and Sonic growled, "What?!"

"Jet's taking me out to some fancy restaurant in downtown Station Square. It was actually a restaurant Chris recommended for me, I was gonna take you with me but...knowing you and fancy don't really mix, Jet's taking me." Zack smiled as he slipped his jacket on and wrapped his messenger bag. "Babe, it's been days and you haven't spent any time with me! And all you've been doing is hanging out with Jet!" Sonic growled. Zack then narrowed his eyes at his boyfriend, having just about enough of Sonic's attitude. "Okay, that's enough Sonic, what is up with you lately? Anytime I mention Jet, you get angry. Anytime Jet comes near me, you get mad, or even if Jet touches me, you get mad. Sonic for real what is up with you?" Zack retorted.

"I just don't want you near that glorified pigeon on legs and I don't like the way he looks at you." Sonic replied then Zack realized something. "Oh my Chaos...Sonic...are you...jealous?" Zack asked. Sonic's eyes widen and tried to play it off. "What? Me jealous? Of Jet?! No! Of course not!" Sonic denied. Zack crossed his arms, "Sonic..." Zack said softly.

Sonic then groaned, "Yes! Okay! I'm jealous of Jet! Babe, he's been hogging you all week and I've been all alone at home and, even though I have you in bed with me...but I haven't had any time with you! And, I don't with that hawk having his hands all over you!" Sonic ranted. "Look, Sonic, I love you, I really do and you mean everything to me..but we see each other all the time. And...honestly that grudge you held against Jet for years after that race in Sand Ruins has got to stop. And you need to learn to let go Sonic. Look, Sonic, I really don't wanna talk about this, so can we please put this aside and, can you at least be happy for Jet?" Zack asked, gently wrapping his arms around his fiancé's shoulders. Sonic said nothing but...he gently nodded. "For you babe...I will." Sonic said. Zack smiled and kissed his loves cheek. "Aww thank you baby. I love you so much. I'll see you later, and be good." Zack ruffled his hedgie's quills and hair and walked out.

Zack smiled as he arrived and sees Jet and the two walked into the restaurant but the two were unaware that...Sonic had followed them all the way! Sonic watched through the window and growled at watching Jet act all cool and making Zack laugh. '_Hmph, that dumbass thinks he's so cool and a bad boy. He's not so tough, I remember when Knuckles told me Storm accidentally knocked over a portrait on top of Jet, and Jet began to throw a tantrum like a little kid. Hehe.' _Sonic snickered. But then his eyes widen in shock and horror as he watches. Jet then gently held Zack's hands in his and...leaned in. "Zack...you are the sweetest and most beautiful boy I've ever seen. "Stop right there birdbrain!" Sonic growled. "Sonic!" Both boys yelped. Jet groaned, "You always did have a way to muck up things." The hawk snarked. Sonic growled and...he slapped Jet hard across his beak, sending Jet off his chair and breathing in shock. Zack and everyone watching gasped in pure shock while Sonic glared down at Jet. "Stay.. away from my boyfriend you bastard!" Sonic snapped. Jet growled as he slowly got up, "You know...I was willing to be nice just once for you...for Zack...but now, I'm starting to think you were never right for him! He should've picked someone with a whole lot more class and attitude!" Jet snarled. "Oh and who's that? Storm. At least he'd be better boyfriend material then you'd ever be, chicken knees!" Sonic taunted. Jet growled, "Do not, call me chicken!" He snapped. "Guys." Zack said, wanting this to stop before things escalated.

But...things now got heated as Sonic now began to mock Jet by calling him chicken and acted like a chicken. And by that point, Jet snapped, slapping Sonic back, this time harder then Sonic slapped him. Zack gasped and covered his mouth. Sonic turned his head back, staring blankly at Jet. Espio growled as he held a kunai to Sonic's throat and the hedgie gulped. "Understood."
