Cloud and Tifa meet up with friends to decide their fate against an Immortal Sepiroth. Can Cloud find a place in the world for two heroes who have been changed to Chocobos? And how to defeat a enemy who death is just a minor inconvenience?

This is a story inspired by Wolfbird47's story about Chocobo Cloud. Hope you all have enjoyed reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it!

Tifa ran down the road on legs she was not born with. See seen through eyes that worked far better than the ones she was accustomed to. Her mind worked far more efficiently than what a mere human brain could process as she cruised at a comfortable pace around twice the speed of sound. There was a uncomfortable zone where the shockwaves she generated created lift under her just after breaking the sound barrier, and she scrabbled with gaining traction enough to accelerate, but here, was the sweet spot. And she ate up mile, after mile, her Buck Chocobo body warm with the exercise, but not stressed.

As she entered Midgar, and the highways she was familiar with, she slowed to subsonic speed, due to traffic, the bane of many a speed enthusiast. She was nimble enough to go around them of course, but being supersonic near glass windows ended badly for everyone. So she went back to her Angel routine, but this time warning folks of Sepiroth's return with each visit. She delivered supplies, and aided folks until she ran into a familiar face, and stopped to greet her friends.

Yuffie Kisaragi had done well in the years since Sepiroth's last incarnation, and her Martial Arts schools were commonplace in many cities and even in a few villages where they provided basic education as well as being a front for any intelligence gathering activities she chose to be part of, seeing she had folded much of Shinra's staff into her own, and became the most influential woman on the continent in many ways. Yuffie looked down at her aide, a quadruped bereft of fur, muscular in form, and vaguely canine in form, albeit with a tentacle growing from its back that was used to manipulate objects. A gruff "Mistress, There is someth.." which was Interrupted by the entrance of a large Chocobo buck, a few yards away as the Canid took a defensive position between herself, and the intruder.

"Hello Yuffie, and hello too, Cerberus." The Chocobo chirped, his mostly green plumage laid down in a non-threatening way. Yuffie looked up at the intruder, as a shadow detached from the wall nearby, and Rufus Shinra walked towards the trio. "Hello, Birdie, what can I do for the Angel of Midgar today?" Yuffie used a hand signal to allay the dozen or so of security nearby who resumed what they were doing, once again looking like folks with jobs other than protecting their boss. "I was in the area, and am warning others of Sepiroth's return, as he and Cloud have a date at Noon." Tifa Chirped in her human female voice.

"Thanks for telling me, Angel, though I do recognize that voice.." Yuffie did not finish the sentence, but Rufus did. "Tifa Lockheart, right?" He said, with Tifa nodding in reply. Yuffie sat down in shock, with Cerberus laying down in front to not block her view. "Tifa, is it really you?" Yuffie asked, and Tifa replied "It is! The lifestream found a way to combat Sepiroth now that he has several thousand clones scattered around the world. Would you mind finding as many as you can and ending them? We can hold off Sepiroth I think, now that I am this." Tifa said, puffing out her chest, proud of her strength as always, but this time with a bit of masculine swagger to back up the tomboyish personality she always put forth.

"We knew about the clones from the fight Yesterday, and are hunting any bio-lab that has the capability to manufacture such, or scholars that have gone missing recently capable of manning such." Cerberus said "Though we have found only three so far, that mostly consists of where Sepiroth first incarnated from." Finished Rufus, offering a hand helping Yuffie stand up "We need time, this was sprung on us too. Now that business is settled, can I pet you?" She said, with Rufus Shinra smiling as he went aside to make sure he was not in any photos of Yuffie and the Angel of Midgar interacting. Not that Rufus had not worked to repair his family name, but with the reemergence of Sepiroth, he was keeping a low profile as his family was deeply connected to the damage Sepiroth caused.

Tifa nodded and Yuffie dropped 30 years in a heartbeat, and charged the Chocobo in her midst, burying her face in Tifa's soft chest feathers. "Ohh You SMELL soo good! I've always loved Chocobos!" She said, with Tifa hugging her friend back with her neck. "Cloud got changed too, he's on his way here, but I arrived first due to him being on the Highwind with Cid." Yuffie looked into Tifa's eye "Why is he on the highwind if he's what you are?" She asked innocently. "He's expecting." Tifa said, matter of factly with a bit of pride. Yuffie pondered for a minute before asking "Expecting what?" Tifa giggled "Our second Egg, if he has not layed it already." Which prompted Yuffie to blush. "Please, you and Rufus have 5 kids, and you know we tried, me and Cloud. I even went to one of your fertility clinics to see if anything could be done." Tifa said, quietly, but with happiness underscoring it all. Yuffie hugged her friend tighter for a minute before noticing the harness. "What's this! Materia, and one I've never seen before!" she said, touching the new stone.

"Be careful, Yuffie, unless you want to be a sexy Chocobo too." Tifa quickly said, but Yuffie continued to fondle it "It's Eggshell, you know. I'll be dammed, a materia made of pure eggshell. And I'd not mind being a Chocobo, if the lifestream wished for it" she said, pressing her forehead to the materia, which warmed under her touch, but that was all for the moment. She held the pose for a moment, deep in thought, before disengaging. "I think I want a sample of one of your kid's eggshells, once they are not needed anymore." Yuffie said, smiling as she took a step back. "Find a few Sepiroth clones for me and it's a deal!" Tifa said, nuzzling her friend as the minutes counted down until Sepiroth's return.

Meanwhile on the Airship Highwind 3, Cloud knew the egg would arrive soon, and having traveled the airship from bow to stern, knew there were no nests here. He sighed, unable to stop the egg's progress as it matured within. Baretto watched the nervous Chocobo before Piping up "Cloud, need something?" Cloud paused his pacing, looking at the young man, young, yes, but with the blood of heroes in his veins. He sighed "Having a nest would be nice, suppose you have one somewhere?" Cloud tried to not sound bitter, but he was growing desperate, the egg was almost ready to lay. "I can help, I was raised on a Chocobo ranch, you know." He said this, taking his shirt off, folding it, and sitting down with legs crossed, patting his thighs.

Cloud thought it lucky that Chocobos did not blush, but to be honest other than begging to stop the Airship, this was the only way, and nodded, as Cloud felt the egg descend, ready to be laid. He turned around, sitting gingerly on the lap of Baretto, his tailfeathers in the young man's face, which could not be helped as the laying ecstasy began. Baretto simply hugged Cloud's rear to him, feeling Cloud's ass expand as the egg pushed against Cloud's cloaca, he felt the moist warmth of Cloud on his chest as his cloaca prolapsed, and as the egg slowly breached, Baretto's hands massaged Cloud's rear, easing the laying as Cloud pressed against the Young man, drunk with pleasure. "Careful!" Baretto yelled at Cloud, who was scooting the young man backwards in his pleasure, Which Cloud seemed to hear, but as the Egg stretched Cloud out to the Maximum, he skwaked as he orgasmed around the egg, and Baretto laid his hand on the bottom of the egg, making sure it was safe as with a slurp Cloud laid the egg in the young man's lap. Cloud paused, once the egg was clear, his instinct to sit on his "nest" warring with the protests of Baretto. Cloud reluctantly stood up, feeling his cloaca tighten as he turned around to look at his egg. Baretto was grinning ear to ear holding the egg in his lap. He picked it up, and bracing himself against Cloud, transferred the egg to a stasis cube upon standing.

Baretto blushed a bit "I've helped hens lay before, but next time, Cloud, we leave the harness off, OK?" He said, his dark complexion not quite hiding his blush. Cloud nodded, not ashamed of how he felt about laying, but aware of his thoughts about it being more of a thing shared with Tifa, generally. "I guess I owe you for that, thanks Baretto!" Cloud said as the two rejoined Cid on the Bridge of the Highwind. "If we get through this, I have a plan for you to replay me, and it won't cost you anything." Cloud tilted his head to the side, looking at the young man, who was not looking particularly horny despite being smothered in Chocobo ass just a few moments before. "Hope you don't mind being a show hen? Your feathers are not as telling as Tifa's, but are quite nice for a hen. You have excellent proportions, and would do very well in a racing circuit, but breeders pay most for eggs from cute Chocobos, ones who combine beauty with grace and power too. I think we'll do very well, and have no shortage of homes for your kids if they have the intelligence of normal chocobos." He said, having already thought out much of this ahead of time, being the son of the Head rancher and all.

Cloud had not really put much thought into his appearance compared to other hens, but nodded, trusting the lad to not go too overboard in whatever competition this implied. Cid interjected "Baretto's right, and we own a few top level hens already on the show circuit, we have been successful in producing hens that do well in racing and are graceful too, so we know a thing or two about this." He said, never taking his eyes off the controls of the Highwind, or looking out to the world at large zooming past. We are almost there, Cloud, you have a plan for this?" Cid asked as they followed the highway into town, the smoke from Sepiroth's destruction the day before now coming into view. "Yeah, I think so, but a lot depends on our friends in the lifestream." Cloud said, looking out at the battleground, and swearing he saw a silver haired man looking back up at him holding a sword stained with his blood. Cloud shivered as they made arrangements to land a hour before the time they were supposed to meet Sepiroth to decide the fate of the world.

Landing the Airship, The Trio aboard watched several quadrepedial forms gracefully approach, led by a famous, and powerful Alpha, marked with roman numerals. "Hey Red" Cloud said, thanks for coming, Aerith said you have a part to play in this." Red sat down on his haunches, and stared at the Chocobo before him. "Cloud? You look....delicious." He said, trying not to drool. Cloud returned the stare, one talon grasping the steel floor of the hanger hard enough to penetrate it, and the steel screamed as it was bent. "A little less delicious now I suppose" Red amended as his kits sniggered at their sire's expense. Cloud looked down at the steel, and let go, taking a step backwards. "Gotta be careful about that, I suppose" He said in contrition. Red nodded "Guess you have a feral side too now. If you need to talk, I'm not far away. I only ask for some Chocobo Nuggets in return" He said, trying to look innocent as Cloud took a moment to clear his emotions. "That's better" Red said before stalking out, looking over his shoulder at the two humans and hen "You Coming? That cat wants to see you, and I imagine ride you, Cloud." He said, chuckling as Cloud wished he had hands to throw something at the humorous Canine/Feline/Lab Rat as he followed.

Outside Midgar, the friends converged, old, new, and all tense as a wire on a Guitar. It was time, and The evil one did not disappoint. A flash of light, then Sepiroth appeared. His aura was such that the sun's rays did not appear to touch him, but instead he glowed with malevolence lit from within. "Nice to see you again, did Cloud run away like a scared Chocobo?" Sepiroth purred as he faced the youngest among them, Baretto holding Cloud's original buster sword, and like he knew what to do with it. Years of training with Tifa and Cid were not wasted on that one. But a bird strode forwards, wind ever so proudly ruffling his yellow feathers. "I'm here, Sepiroth." Sepiroth was always the sly one, ready for any cutting jibe, but this was beyond him. 'You, are a bird. I was expecting.....more" Sepiroth laughed until a talon caught him in the gut, Cloud not holding back this time, having put everything he had into it. Sepiroth folded under the kick, he did not even hear it coming as Cloud had broken the speed of sound, and indeed so did Sepiroth now, the sound of his spine breaking eclipsed by his passing as his body tumbled over and over.

A new Sepiroth appeared, a moment after, looking back at the corpse Cloud had left "Now, that was not very nice, I'll have to tell my Mother on you." Sepiroth purred, secure in his immortality. A bit like Yesterday, eh? You have power, but do you have stamina?" He brought out his sword, as long as Cloud was tall, and just as deadly. Tifa strode forwards, ready to fight as well, With more Materia stuck to her harness from Yuffie's materia hoard. "We don't need Holy to beat you with this time, Sepiroth" Tifa said, as the two fowl circled him, each looking for an opening. Sepiroth lunged, but was like moving in mud compared to the two avians, his only defense being the range of his weapon. As Sepiroth slashed at Cloud, Tifa moved in, her beak slashing the air at incredible speed, forcing Sepiroth to abort his swing on Cloud as he dodged her. Cloud moved faster than he thought possible, getting behind his enemy, as his eggshell materia started to glow. Tifa's did as well, and as he kicked Sepiroth, So did He contact her, and in a blinding flash, the same transformation took Sepiroth that had transformed Cloud and Tifa. Sepiroth laughed "I have stolen your power, you fools!" He said, as his body shifted, and shrank, soon a defiant looking fuzzball stared at the friends. "Go to Hell, Sepiroth" Cloud said, as eggshell formed over his enemy, encasing him in a dark shelled egg that rocked at first, then remained still.

"Got that stasis cube handy?" Tifa said, as Cloud moved to sit on it. "Cloud, what in the name of the lifestream are you doing?"Cloud sighed as he fluffed this feathers, as the egg rested on his feet "I was told to defeat Sepiroth, but without killing him. If the embryo that is Sepiroth dies before the cube gets here, we lose." She looked at Cloud, then disappeared, a violent wind being the only sign of her passing, minus the gouges in the earth from her claws. Cloud sighed as the others came forwards, all in relief that the danger was past. And as Rufus Shinra hugged his lover whispering in her ear just as Tifa reappeared with a stasis cube, which Cloud happily surrendered his prize to. The friends walked towards Midgar, chatting as fireworks dotted the sky, not waiting for dark in the happiness shared by many. "What happened? Cat Sith said, his feline avatar riding on Cloud's back. "It was Aeris's doing, the orbs made us into Chocobos, true, but it also stole 30 or so years of aging from us. Sepiroth's body was a clone, who had maybe a month of existence. So, he de-aged into a Embryo, or less." Tifa answered for him. Rufus and Yuffie nodded and touched the two at the same time, and were transformed as well. "Can you guard this?" Cloud asked Red, touching the cube with a talon. "We'd be honored" Red said, not looking a day older despite 30 years having passed.

A month later, Cloud was nervous. "It's Okay, Cloud, just do what the other hens do, you will be fine" Baretto said. "It was nice of you to share that materia with Yuffie, she did not know they would lose the ability to talk, before changing." Cloud nodded, his ribbons tied in his feathers, making him feel more feminine than before, it was true, Cloud liked being a hen, and minutes before having been filled filled with the warm cum of his lover now seeking the latest egg to fertilize, Cloud strode forwards to the stage, truly the queen of the show as applause for the savior of Midgar took a full 5 minutes to die down as Cloud flashed his feathers in appreciation and took a moment to look offstage, seeing Aeris and Zack clapping as well before walking offstage exposing Barett looking at his friend before dematerializing, a whisper of thought crossing his mind "Take care of this egg, Cloud, I'll see you soon" Barett's ghost whispered into his mind, as Cloud gracefully Lined up among the other Chocobos, head held high, knowing he belonged here, this was his destiny.
