Journals of a Dark Elf Dancer: Part 2 The Return Performance

This is my second story converted from the log files of a very good friend of mine that dances regularly on Tapestries Muck. With some prompting from friends, rather then make this a series of stand-alones, I'm letting things progress into a series with the same protagonist each time. Let's see how things go shall we?

As always, if you are not of legal age to read adult oriented material in your region, do not read any further. N'Tanya is used with her player's permission, and the lyrics to Marilyn Manson's cover of "Tainted Love" are used under Fair Use Doctrine for copyright law. This story is Copyright me, of course. :)

Two weeks passed before I braved returning to the club. I wanted to resist the urge and forget the last visit, if only to prove that I could. I thought I would resist the silent pronouncement from the dancer that I would go back. Eventually I had to admit that she was right, I could not let things go, and I had to see her perform again. Even then I passed by the club several times as I argued with myself. I didn't know if it was my own urges that drew me in or if she had done something to me that made her an obsession in my mind. Finally I braved the club on a rain-soaked night; it seemed an ideal excuse to get in out of the rain into the outwardly dingy establishment. I also knew that there was less chance that someone was going to watch as I disappeared into the club.

The same lynx bartender was on staff when I walked in. He was idly standing behind the bar, casually wiping out glasses that looked clean enough for service while he looked to the stage. His bartender sense must have tingled because he quickly turned to face me as I approached the bar, and his muzzle broadened in a smile at my approach.

"I figured you would'a been back sooner than this, guess our little club finally got the better of yer urges to stay away hmm," he inquired with a knowing drawl and a little wink to take the sting out of the comment. Without asking, he pulled a mug from behind the bar and filled it with the same beer that I had ordered on my last visit, and then slid it across to me.

"I just thought I would come in out of the rain to a place I was at least familiar with. Who is dancing tonight anyway," I replied. I tried to sound nonchalant as I captured the beer and placed my payment on the bar.

"That's the thing of it," he replied, "You m'friend have exceptional timing, as you are about to see the dark skinned lass you saw last time up there on th' stage. She comes an' goes as she pleases, but we make space in the schedule for her whenever she shows and tonight she just showed up and said she was ready t'go. She actually starts in just a few minutes, so have yerself a seat if you want t'see her dance."

He then gestured to the rest of the club where there were still plenty of open booths and tables. It appeared that the rain had kept most of the audience away. There were still furs here and there throughout the club in couples and singles as last time but with the rain pouring outside the atmosphere the atmosphere was more subdued. I took my beer and moved towards a table off to the side of the club, where I could see the stage and the audience, but I was confident I would not be seen from the stage. I couldn't help but shudder, though I could not tell if it was the chill of the rain that seeped into my clothing or whether it was anticipation for the upcoming show and seeing the dancer once again.

There was no warning of the beginning of the show this time; the club lights descended to darkness except for a few running lights for furs that may want to find another place to sit. A pair of spotlights that flared across the club and speared the curtains at the far end of the stage signaled the beginning of the show. The dancer flung aside the curtain with the first beats of Marilyn Manson's cover of "Tainted Love" then stepped out on stage. She was stunning in an outfit of leather and silver. A leather corset held her body with silver buckles all along each side and her front that made sure it was tight. It was over a skirt that looked like someone had stripped an entire animal to leather belts, and then weaved all the belts together. Strand overlapped strand and buckles held everything together into a form-fitting leather skirt that barely covered her hips. She wore matching spike-heeled boots and arm-length leather gloves that also had silver buckles and leather straps to keep them secure. The spots widened a bit as she moved forward; the growing light showed a flogger with falls made from the same leather as her outfit in her hand. She timed each movement by the beat of the song while the flogger swayed back and forth in counterpoint to the movements of her hips. As she walked forward towards the end of the stage it seemed she had the DJ remix the song to fit her needs, since the intro seemed longer then I had heard before. The intro stretched right up until she reached the end of the stage before the lyrics of the first verse finally broke the repetition of the musical score,

Sometimes I feel I've got to

Run away I've got to

Get away

From the pain you drive in the heart of me

N'Tanya looked out across the audience as the spotlights illuminated and reflected off her. Her gaze passed across the club and then fixed...on me. Even the shadow of the table I had picked did not hide me as those golden eyes penetrated the darkness and burned into me. The smallest of smiles passed across her lips as she smacked the flogger into her gloved hand, once, then again with the beat. There was no hesitation as she stepped down to the floor of the club, perhaps the length of the song provoked the move, but it was only when she reached the floor did her gaze break from mine. She apparently had other things in mind, as even while the second verse rang out she moved across the club floor in a way that suggested she knew exactly where she was going. The destination was a mystery for the rest of us because the spotlights stayed narrow enough that the rest of the club remained in darkness.

The love we share

Seems to go nowhere

And I've lost my light

For I toss and turn I can't sleep at night

N'Tanya had her pick of the crowd as she moved through the darkness, but it was obvious she had a specific goal in mind, a goal made evident when she approached one table in particular. She took one-step onto a chair, then another step onto the table in front of where a young looking fox todd sat in a booth. The elf moved forward onto her knees as she dropped down; she crawled on all fours across the table until she stopped directly in front of her choice. She pressed forward with the chorus and ran her hands across the fox's clothes. He was wearing a pair of slacks and a semi-dress shirt; it looked like he had just come to the club from a college class, or perhaps his first day in an office. If he the fox had looked any younger, they would likely have had to remove him from the club as underage. That obviously did not disturb the dancer because she continued to stroke and caress over his chest with her hands, while the falls of the flogger dragged over his body. With no further warning, she grabbed the edges of his shirt and yanked downwards. She ripped his shirt wide so that buttons flew all over the club, one even 'plinked' off the edge of my mostly untouched drink. The dark elf then ran the handle of her flogger up along his chest, under his throat and up his chin. She coaxed his muzzle upwards so that she forced him to look at her. The gleam in her golden eyes was smoldering, something deep inside her that apparently burned and fixated the young fox's gaze even through the passion of the chorus.

Once I ran to you

Now I run from you

This tainted love you've given

I give you all a boy could give you

Take my tears and that's not nearly all

Tainted love

Tainted love

Even as the chorus song blasted through the club, a low shivering moan escaped the audience member's muzzle as N'Tanya's hand stroked against his chest. She made sure his gaze stayed on hers and provoked a low, needing, and painful moan. The sound triggered a shudder through my own body, even as I realized that I was all ready hard; I strained for her even though I was across the club and all I could do was watch. Once she made sure the young male's gaze locked on hers she sat back on her haunches and braced her body onto her free hand. She arched her back up and rolled her hips so she thrust up with the slow deliberate beat of the song. With her other hand she flipped the flogger around the other direction; she trailed the fine leather ends up along her "victim's" chest, then up over his muzzle before and finally she slid it back over her own thighs.

Now I know I've got to

Run away I've got to

Get away

You don't really want it any more from me

To make things right

You need someone to hold you tight

And you'll think love is to pray

But I'm sorry I don't pray that way

While the next verse blazed from the club speakers the dark elf dropped back onto her haunches while her shoulders pressed to the table. Her body formed a taut arc across the table even as both of her hands travelled up her thighs. Her hands met the edge of her leather skirt and continued upwards, while her fingers found the buckles and leathers that held the intricately laced skirt closed and started working them loose. As more and more of the buckles and straps gave way, she revealed her dark skin. The loosening skirt revealed a very low cut pair of body hugging leather panties that clung to her intimate flesh. The dark elf turned her head and looked to me; her lips parted into a wicked smile while she pulled the skirt aside and dropped it to the floor out of sight of the spotlights. Her gaze broke as she rolled over on the table and ended on all fours facing away from the young fur at the table. It must have been quite the view across her body from behind for him. She looked back at him, and I watched as she reached back and swung with her flogger, sending a loud 'smack' across the club as she hit her own body. The sound triggered a deep shudder through my body, and I closed my eyes and licked my suddenly very dry lips. I resisted the urge to open my eyes again, but I soon lost that battle of wills and opened them to see what was next.

The elf dancer had shifted onto the edge of the table, opposite the audience member she had drawn into her performance. It appeared that he was in a daze, he was paying no attention to the ripped nature of his clothes, and his eyes were almost glossy as he tracked the dancer when she slipped off his table. The spotlights followed her diligently and kept her centered so that the rest of the club remained in darkness. When she moved away and the lights followed her, the fox she had just teased and tormented disappeared again in darkness. N'Tanya treated the floor as her own personal stage as she continued the dance. She slid both her hands back over her own rear with each swaying movement that matched the beat of the song. Her hands went up to her silver hair that she had held in a ponytail until now. The flogger hung from her wrist while she tangled her fingers in her hair and drew it free from the ponytail. She shook her head and sent it flying in a spray of silver that glittered in the direct light from the spotlights. Her right hand dropped to her hip so the flogger swayed like a tail behind her for her swaying motions while her left descended to the front of the corset. Her eyes again sought mine even in darkness and held me, while she undid the buckles of the corset one by one with the beats of the chorus.

Once I ran to you

Now I run from you

This tainted love you've given

I give you all a boy could give you

Take my tears and that's not nearly all

Tainted love

Tainted love

The chorus ended with the corset completely released while her eyes remained locked on mine. Her lips curled in a wicked, teasing grin while she tossed the leather top back up on stage and shook her hair out again behind her. The song was no relief, the remixed version had an extended musical interlude, perhaps specifically so N'Tanya could pick out her next...participant, and this time it appeared I was going to participate in her show. I did not move, I did not think to move, I did not want to move, despite the strain in my body and the hardness between my thighs that would just not fade while I was locked with that intense gaze. As N'Tanya walked across the club, the spots followed her. The rest of the audience may not have known her destination, but I certainly did.

The dark elf circled around the back of my seat as the spotlights now included me in their glare, so I was part of the show for the rest of the audience. I tried to turn my head so I could follow her, but when she moved around behind I lost track, even though she trailed a hand across my shoulder. Through the leather of her glove and the jacket I had worn over a beaten shirt, I could feel the warmth of her body, warmth that became even more obvious as she pressed up against the back of my neck. I could not help the soft exclamation of breath that carried a moan too quiet to hear over the music as she leaned in close and ran her hands down the edges of my jacket. She parted the jacket wide, and then slid her hands up to the front of my shirt. She wrenched her hands, I gasped as the shirt tore easily under her grip. She yanked my shirt and jacket back down, which pulled my arms back around the chair and pushed my black furred chest out, it was like a restraint, a straight-jacket, not that I needed one. She paralyzed me as she whispered in my ear; I could hear her voice now while she spoke along with the song.

Don't touch me please

I cannot stand the way you tease

I love you though you hurt me so

Now I'm going to pack my things and go

Touch me baby, tainted love

Touch me baby, tainted love

Her voice was liquid honey as it entered my ear, it carried heat, intensity; I couldn't help but close my eyes while she mimicked the words of the song into my ear and raked her fingers across my chest. Her fingertips burned as they dragged through the fur all the way up my chest, and then she took a step back and flicked the flogger across my body. It was more show then pain, as she hit me with the flat sides of the falls, but despite the minimal impact another gasp left my lips. She then winked and leaned leaned in and whispered in my ear once again. My eyes opened wide at the intensity in her voice as she whispered;

"You were drawn here; you will keep being drawn to me until you are pulled in completely..."

She then slipped away, she left my heart pounding in my ears and my clothes in remnants around my arms so that I had to struggle back into them and rearrange myself while she walked back towards the stage. Luckily, the lights of the club followed her, so that the audience could not see me as I attempted to make sense of the energy and feelings coursing through me. I felt strained, as though her very presence had pushed me towards a physical peak, and I could feel the flush and heat that burned through me from her passing.

N'Tanya walked back toward the stage, the dancer kept her movements in the same pacing with the almost pained beat of the song. Even though it was impossible to see the rest of the audience, I could feel the audience's eyes on her body. I still could not stop breathing heavily from the rush just being near her brought out, and I barely even listened as the song ramped up for the final chorus. She took the two steps needed, strode back up onto the stage, and caught the center pole there as she did so. She pulled herself right up against the pole while the singer repeated the bridge over and over. She hooked her right leg around the brass pole and spun around it while the tips of the flogger dragged around the smooth stage below. She yanked herself up just as the final chorus began and pulled herself right up against the brass pole. The pole pressed up between her thighs while she slid up and down the brass length. She trailed the flogger up along her body, while the chorus rose higher and higher as it neared the end.

Once I ran to you

Now I run from you

This tainted love you've given

I give you all a boy could give you

Take my tears and that's not nearly all

Tainted love

Tainted love

N'Tanya spun around the brass pole and flicked the flogger along the entire length of her rear and thigh. The smack of leather on flesh resounded through the club as counter to the trailing moment. She turned and again her eyes met mine, she smiled and locked me in with her gaze, she made sure I was watching, though I don't know how as she bucked her hips against the brass pole. Another flick with the flogger, and another loud smack as the falls impacted her skin. She licked her lips and narrowed her eyes to burning slits as the last repetitions of the tagline echoed through the club before the lights went out.

When the show ended I don't think I could have made it outside if I had wanted to. My hand shook as I grabbed the beer and finished it off in one long draught before I stood up from my seat. The lights returned to normal levels, so I hurried off to the back area and ducked into one of the men's bathrooms. The bathroom was mostly empty, or at least I did not notice anyone at first before I walked over to the bathroom sink and doused my burning face with water. The cold water restored some clarity, the mirror showed me my darkly furred feline face, my green eyes that refocused and reflected control that I thought I had regained. Her pronouncements could not control me, she may be a good dancer, but that was all, she was just playing up for the audience, and there was no connection, I was sure of it. By then, the rest of the world was again intruding on my senses, and I could pick up muffled sounds and heavy breathing from one of the stalls near me. Those sounds of pleasure made me cringe at the feelings I remembered from the dance, and how I would have likely reacted had I not retained some measure of control.

As I quickly left the bathroom and left that fur to his (or her) pleasure, I shrugged out of the torn shirt I had as a reminder of the show and tossed it in the garbage before I put my jacket on once again. I returned to the main room of the club determined that I would not rush off again, since there were no doubt more dancers that would do just as well on the stage. The lights were up fully once again and there was a bit of a commotion near the curtain to the side of the dance stage. "What's that all about?" I asked the bartender as I took a step or two away from the bathroom door though I still could not see what was going on in the little group of furs that had gathered.

"Oh, the dancer always likes to come out to the club and do rounds. It's sort'o th' policy around here. We don't let th' dancers take tips during the show, so if th' girls want to make a bit o' extra cash, they come out after and play up th' audience."

It was then I noticed N'Tanya's head come up from the crowd; apparently, she had been leaning over one of the audience members so she could tease or give a better opportunity for furs to offer tips. She tossed her head back so that her hair went flying back and forth and laughed to some comment or other from the crowd. She was still wearing the brief leather underwear from the end of the routine, though now there were all ready bills stuffed into the waistband of the panties, and in the cups of the bra. Even as I watched, she leaned back against one of the tables and two or three furs crowded in close in flimsy excuses to touch and caress before they finally inserted various bills into what little clothes she wore. Through the whole process, she laughed and smiled, hiked a hip, thrust out her chest, did various little things to encourage the caresses, the touches. She didn't even look at the bills that ended up thrust inside her minimal clothing, they didn't appear important to the process of visiting the audience.

When she looked up from her current patron, her eyes immediately went to me. It was unerring, as if she knew exactly where I had went, and had no concern about when I was coming back. Any control I thought I had crumbled and that same feeling, that same energy and tension that had me so aroused through the entire show lanced through my body. She smiled at me and parted her lips in a lightly blown kiss. I could not take it, could not stand that loss of control, with an effort I turned away and walked out into the night. I was determined that I would not let her draw me back, I was sure that I would not return to the club, that I would not see her again.
