A deer takes a walk in the woods and has a run-in with the spirit of a lake.

The deer's uncertain steps came to a pause, and he scanned his surroundings. He thought it seemed familiar. Mind, between the overcast sky and the canopy of pines, the lack of light made it hard to be certain, and even then, a given place in the forest could only look so distinct - trees with slim trunks and high branches, undergrowth with light stems and sparse, broad leaves, and a floor carpeted with pine straw and littered with leaves and an occasional branch.

Still, a feeling from within nudged him in what he thought to be the right direction. As if to confirm he was on the right track - and close to his destination, in fact - a glint caught his eyes. He took a closer look and found the canteen he left behind on his last visit. He picked it up, and a recollection of said visit came over him.

He'd made a habit of walking the forest's trails every Saturday. It was an opportunity to withdraw into his own world and de-stress. On that particular day, however, the trail was too lively for his liking. It felt like he couldn't go five minutes without crossing paths with another hiker, and every time, it'd pull him back down to earth. There he'd land in a self-conscious haze - a haze that would only have just begun to clear by the time he crossed paths with yet another hiker.

After what felt like an hour spent in that haze, he looked to the forest beyond the trail. The terrain seemed level and the understory unobstructive. He had planned on a nature walk, but overprepared as usual, he was more or less supplied for a hike. After glancing about and seeing no eyes upon him, he stepped off of the trail and into the forest. As he did so, he felt an unexpected sense of liberation, and as he continued into the forest, that sense of freedom grew. Soon, the trail was out of view, but equipped with a map, a compass, and even a GPS, he had no concern that he might lose his way. Before long, he was immersed in nature, and he finally felt free to drift off into his own world.

He hiked for several hours, and he would have continued for several more, but his canteen began to run dry. After drinking the last of his water, he considered heading home. Normally, he would've done so well before running out of water, but on that particular day, he felt daring enough to continue for just a little while longer. After an hour of hiking and no water later, however, his thirst convinced him to head home.

As he prepared to head back, something caught his eyes. Off in the distance, the reflective surface of a body of water peeked over the horizon. The sight prompted a double-take. He didn't recall seeing any such thing during his hike. He pulled out his GPS, and it didn't seem to think a body of water was nearby. He pulled out his map, and there wasn't so much as a pond charted.

He began to make way over. He expected a small pond easily neglected by cartographers and missed by satellites, but as he drew near, the body of water's expanse became clear. Soon, the sound of a lake caught his ears. It grew louder as he approached, and the sounds of the forest's wildlife grew distant. On reaching the forest's edge, all was silent save for the lake.

There he stood, an expansive lake before him, waters gray under the overcast sky. He looked the area over, wondering how such a body of water had gone uncharted. Scanning the shore, he could have certainly been convinced he was the first to so much as lay eyes upon it. There wasn't a single house, dock, or any other sign of civilization; only the forest beyond the lake's beach. Even the sand appeared untouched - it was as if it hadn't been disturbed by anything save for the wind and an occasional piece of driftwood.

His thirst urged his eyes back to the water ahead. After a moment's hesitation, he stepped out of the forest and onto the sand of the beach. A chilly spring breeze picked up as if to welcome him into the open. He took a moment to enjoy the refreshing breeze, but again, his thirst urged him to the water's edge. There, he filled his canteen. He took a cautious initial sip and, satisfied, began gulping it down.

Soon, he drank his fill. In fact, he felt he had a bit more than that. As the final gulp settled in, he felt his stomach distend and push out from his otherwise flat midriff. He bounced on his heels, and the contents of his stomach audibly sloshed. It had always been a thrilling sensation to the deer. He refilled his canteen, glanced about, and having assured there still wasn't another person in sight, began drinking again. With every gulp, his stomach distended a little more. He came to a stop as soon as discomfort began to set in.

As he lowered the canteen, something a stone's throw beyond the water's edge caught his attention. At first glance, something appeared to be emerging from the water. However, the water's surface did not part. Instead, it continued to rise until it stood a head taller than the deer.

Initially, what the deer saw resembled an amorphous column. However, the upper half rapidly shaped itself - a pair of appendages sprouted and took the shape of arms; the length of column between sculpted itself into a torso; and the length of column above sculpted itself into the head of a cobra. The lower half remained elongate and amorphous. In an instant, a viscous creature resembling a naga stood a short distance beyond the water's edge. The creature began to glide across the water's surface and towards the deer.

The deer was utterly frozen. As he recovered from the initial shock, the first thought to take shape was the fear that the cobra had been watching the whole time. It threw his mind into a haze. He felt so exposed.

As the cobra drew near, a more pressing concern gripped his mind. Still, he remained frozen. It was as if his body refused to contend with the situation at hand. Fighting hard to overcome his petrifaction, the deer took one step back, then another, and then turned tail and ran back into the forest.

He ran through the woods without a thought for where he was going. His blind sprint only came to a momentary pause when he felt a dampness crawl onto his hand. His eyes snapped over. Emerging from the canteen still clutched in his hand was the remainder of its contents. It had become animate and viscous. He hurled the canteen and continued his sprint.

There it had remained since. He looked inside. It seemed the contents hadn't remained with it. What he drank, though, had remained inside him right up to that moment.

It was a realization he came to shortly after arriving home from his previous visit. Exhausted, he laid down to rest. As he began to drift off to sleep, a groan from his stomach pulled him back to lucidity. Assuming the ordeal left him queasy, he placed his hand on his stomach and gave it a soothing stroke. Something pushed up against his palm.

He immediately sat up and stared down at his stomach, eyes wakeful and wide. His breathing ramped up as it dawned on him - the water he drank earlier had come to life.

It moved within him, and he froze - a habit the deer had struggled with since his childhood. So often, fright would send him into a reflexive stillness. Deep down, he held a primitive hope that doing so would hide him from anything that might harm him. Not once had this been the case.

In this case, it was exceptionally useless. What he meant to hide from was inside him. It was inescapably aware of him. It could feel his every breath and heartbeat. More than likely, it could feel both unsettle as he panicked.

His mind lingered on that last thought. For all his fear, the thought of something so intimately aware of these vital signs and the feelings they betrayed aroused an excitement - one that mingled with his lingering panic.

He reached down and placed a hand over his erection. There was already a subtle dampness soaking through. He pushed them down and gripped his shaft. For a moment, he let it throb in his hand. He closed his eyes and focused on the liquid inside him. As if in response, it pushed up against the wall of his stomach. He began to pump his shaft, and the liquid began to roil as if in reciprocal excitement.

He thought back to the moments he stood frozen as the serpent approached. He wondered what would have happened if he held still. In his mind's eye, he saw the serpent draw closer and closer until he stood before him. The serpent reached out and into the deer's open, panting mouth. The serpent's hand was engulfed in his warmth. The hand reached deeper, down through his throat, and the serpent could feel his heart pound and lungs heave. Everything - his warmth, his pulse, his respiration - grew more intense as he neared his release. Liquid sloshed about within him as if to push him along the way. His body trembled in the moments leading up to his climax, went rigid the moment of, and limp the moments following.

Many times since then, he touched himself to the same fantasy. With time, he came to view the liquid as a partner. However, he suspected it was an extension of the creature he saw a week ago.

He continued to follow the gentle push from within. Soon, the forest's edge came into view. He approached it, and the sound of the lake began to replace those of the forest. On reaching it, all else was silent, and the gray waters of the lake were just ahead.

There, he hesitated. His heart thumped, and he breathed deeply and rapidly, but for all his excitement, he considered turning back. At the urging of his partner, though, he took one final step forward.

The very instant he set foot on the sand, something unsettled the water's surface. The serpent rose from the lake just as it had before and locked eyes with the deer, a knowing smile on his face. The deer froze. The serpent approached, gliding across the water's surface. As he crossed onto the shore, he left a serpentine trail of water behind him.

As the serpent drew near, the his heart began to race. He tried to convince himself to stay still, assuring himself over and over again that it would be just like his fantasies, but as the serpent came within arm's reach, his body took an involuntary step back. He began to turn tail, but the serpent cut to his left and pinned him against a tree to his right.

The translucent creature loomed over him, and the urge to hide in stillness took hold. He became utterly still against the tree. He was reluctant to so much as breathe. As his heart pounded and blood surged through his veins, the need for air asserted itself. He tried to measure each breath to keep it inconspicuous, but all he did was starve himself of oxygen. Each breath grew deeper out of necessity until it devolved into trembling, open-mouthed panting.

The serpent set his eyes on the deer's mouth and grinned. His teeth parted, and his tongue slithered out and towards the deer's mouth. For a moment, it lingered midway, and the deer's breath wafted against it. The deer stared at the amorphous tendril a few inches from his face and whimpered. He felt as if the serpent could taste his every thought and feeling on his breath.

The serpent's tongue continued the rest of the way into the deer's mouth, putting a muffle on his panting. There, it groped every inch without restraint - it coiled his tongue, brushed against the roof of his mouth, and ran along his teeth. All throughout, it dripped with what he could only assume was the cobra's saliva. Within moments, it filled his mouth.

A growing urge to swallow came to odds with his rigidity. He lifted his eyes up to the serpent's. They looked back at him intently, expectantly. The serpent grinned around his tongue. He took a deep breath followed by a heavy, tense gulp. The mouthful of liquid began straining its way down his throat.

The serpent's tongue immediately followed. It darted across the deer's tongue and slithered into his gullet. The deer's eyes opened wide and locked on the tongue. Before he had a chance to think, he succumbed to a reflexive swallow. His throat hugged the serpent's tongue and tugged it the rest of the way down. It emerged into his stomach.

All he could do was stare at the appendage extending out of the serpent's mouth and into his. Grinning around his tongue, the serpent gave the wall of the deer's stomach a firm nudge - enough to bulge out from beneath the deer's hide. He drew in an awkward, sharp breath, his throat only able to take down so much air at once with his gullet occupied. It almost came off as a threat, but at the same time, he reasoned the serpent wanted to put more of himself inside his stomach. As the feeling lingered on his nerves, he came to want the same. The stretch of his hide left his erection throbbing.

The cobra's tongue slithered a short ways deeper before it met the liquid sitting in the deer's stomach - an accumulation of both what he had swallowed moments ago and what he drank on his previous visit - and the two viscous masses conjoined.

Bulge after bulge began to pump along the tongue's length. Each one emerged from the serpent's mouth and made way towards the deer's. He whimpered as the first pushed between his lips. It wedged its way between his tongue and the roof of his mouth. It pushed over the horizon of his tongue and into his gullet, prompting a reflexive swallow along the way. There it pushed through his throat, visible from the outside as a subtle bulge travelling down his neck. On reaching the end of the serpent's tongue, it added itself to the pool in the deer's stomach. Each one did the same, and what little space remained in the deer's stomach shrank away.

The serpent's eyes set on the deer's slender midriff. A second right arm sprouted out just below the first. He slipped his surplus hand up the deer's shirt and cupped it over his stomach. The deer slouched back against the tree and pushed his stomach out into the serpent's hand.

Beneath that hand, beneath his hide, liquid welled up in his stomach. With every bulge that pushed inside, it distended further. It pushed out and against the hand beneath his shirt. The cobra's fingers stroked along his hide as it grew taut around his stomach. His heart above throbbed - a feeling that grew stronger as his stomach took up more and more space.

The deer's stomach began to reach its limit. Just as it felt no more would fit, a strange bliss began radiate just to the right of his stomach. Bulge after bulge continued to pump inside, and fullness and tightness crept down his abdomen. The cobra's hand followed behind, fingers tracing along taut skin.

As the serpent's hand crossed his navel, he was unable to hold off any longer. He reached down and cupped his erection through his jeans. His stomach pressed against his arm. He lowered his eyes, and his midriff eclipsed his toes from view. With every bulge that pushed inside of him, it stretched further out and pressed more firmly against his arm. He lifted his eyes up to the serpent's, and they were intently fixed on his swelling belly.

He fumbled his pants undone and pushed them down along with his briefs. His erection sprang free. He wrapped his fingers around the base of his shaft, and it throbbed in his hand. He pushed his grip up along its length, and clear liquid spurted from its tip. He drew his hand back down to the base, and his abdomen bounced against his wrist. The liquid inside sloshed with the same reciprocal excitement it showed a week ago. It was barely ten seconds before he achieved his release.

With that, the serpent closed his mouth, severing the length of tongue beyond his teeth. It slithered down the deer's throat as he threw his head back. He slid down against the trunk of the tree and came to rest on his knees. As his stomach slipped away from the serpent's third arm, it withdrew back into his body. His hand pistoned up and down his shaft. Clear, viscous liquid spurted out. It spattered against the serpent's lower half and seeped into his body. The deer felt as though the barrage of sensations could sustain his release forever - his hide creaking with every breath, his overflowing insides pressing against his lungs, his stomach bouncing every time his hand thumped against his abdomen, and animate liquid flowing and gurgling through his insides.

Eventually, however, his release did subside, and sensual euphoria gave way to abrupt nausea. The liquid pushed up through his insides, overloading his stomach, then pushing up and into his throat. He fell forward onto all fours, and the liquid came spilling out of his mouth. When every drop had left his body and set before him in a clear, viscous puddle, he gasped for breath. The puddle crept towards the serpent and seeped into him.

The deer lifted his gaze up to the serpent towering over him. As the serpent stared back, he felt that same sense of exposure he felt a week ago. He stumbled to his feet, pulling his pants up along the way, and attempted to run into the forest. The serpent cut him off. The deer attempted to escape to his left, but again, the serpent cut him off. The serpent began encircling him, trapping him in coil upon coil of his lower half. Within seconds, the deer was bound up to the hips, and the serpent's upper half loomed behind him.

The deer opened his mouth, unsure whether he meant to object, encourage, or simply scream. The serpent shoved his fingers into the deer's mouth, and there was suddenly no need for that determination. Feeling the serpent's hand in his mouth, he flashed back to the fantasy he indulged in countless times over the past several days. His lust resurged, and as it filled his mind, it pushed concern to its periphery. He opened his mouth wider, and the serpent pushed his hand deeper inside. As it neared his throat, it abandoned its shape in favor of a narrow, amorphous tendril. The deer swallowed, and the tendril did exactly as the cobra's tongue had moments ago.

There was a tug at the legs of his pants and a push down against the waist. His pants began to slide down along with his briefs, the serpent's amorphous coils working them off. The waistband cleared his erection, already stiff to the point of throbbing again, and it slapped up against one of the serpent's coils. A moment later, and his entire lower half sat unclothed within his partner's embrace.

A coil pressed against his rump, and he pressed against it in turn. Out from the coil, a tendril began to sprout. Its damp tip pressed between his cheeks and up against his rim, and his heart fluttered. It pushed through, viscous surface generating virtually no friction, and the deer's erection throbbed at finally having his partner inside him. The tendril pushed deeper and deeper until it crossed his prostate. Pleasure surged throughout his body, and he quivered in his partner's embrace. The coil began to bounce against his rump, and his body jerked in sync to every thrust. With every bounce, the tendril pressed deeper, and soon, it bottomed him out. There, the thrusts stopped. The tendril began to angle its way deeper into the deer, and a few moments later, it bulged through his abdomen. He reached down and placed his hand over it, fondling it through his hide.

Bulge after bulge began to pump through the tendril. The first pushed inside the deer, and he winced at the subtle stretch. It crossed his prostate, and he spasmed in pleasure. It reached the end of the tendril, and the latter grew an inch.

This process repeated with every bulge until the tendril poked against the deer's stomach. There, it stopped growing. Every bulge thereafter ejaculated out of its tip and flowed into the deer's core.

Before long, the two influxes of liquid met in his core. With that, the deer had been filled from end to end. Subtle gurgling caught his ears, and sparks of euphoric tension shot across his hide. He lowered his gaze to his stomach, and it jutted out with every bulge that pumped inside. The deer was completely enthralled.

Something in his peripheral vision fought for his attention, however. Just short of out of sight, the water's edge seemed to draw closer. He pried his eyes away from his stomach and to the lake ahead. The serpent was making way back to it, and he was bringing the deer along with him. Alarms began to sound in the deer's head, but they were drowned out by ecstasy.

The deer's eyes returned to his midriff, and although the encroaching shoreline remained in his peripheral vision, his swelling midriff dominated his attention. Before his eyes, it ballooned out from his frame and onto the coil wrapped around his hips. He placed his hand on the stretch of midriff just below his ribs, and it rapidly approached perpendicularity with his chest. He slid it down, and beneath his palm, water surged and stretched his hide. His hand reached his navel just in time to feel its strain before it slipped out of reach. He let his arm fall to a rest, and he found he had to maneuver it around his belly just to bring it back to his side. The deer was so thoroughly enraptured, he nearly forgot about the nearing shoreline.

As they crossed it, an inexplicable panic gripped his mind. Something compelled him to look over his shoulder. As he did so, the shore was nowhere to be seen. He looked in every direction, but all he could see was the lake's endless gray surface. His eyes stung as tears of utter panic welled up. His heart thumped harder and harder, pounding against the walls of his chest.

The flow of liquid into the deer came to a pause. The serpent's arm parted at the elbow, the portion beyond slithered down the deer's throat, and a replacement grew from what remained. The serpent turned the deer about-face in his coils, and the two were face-to-face. The deer was presented with the option to object, encourage, or simply scream. He froze in ambitendency.

The serpent reached out for the deer. The deer whimpered as the hand drew near, but as it brushed down his cheek, his concern evaporated. He leaned into the serpent's hand and drank in the soothing touch of another. He looked to the serpent. The serpent looked back to him with a questioning stare. He nodded.

Water crept up along the deer's feet. He looked down, and the lake's surface was drawing closer. The cobra was sinking into the lake, and the deer was sinking with him.

He looked to the serpent, his panic on clear display. Just as he readied to shake his head and revoke his consent, the serpent reached out and gave the deer another stroke. His hand ran down the deer's cheek, down his neck, down his chest, and came to a rest on his belly. The deer swallowed hard and tried to reassure himself.

Inch by inch, the cobra's form dispersed across the water's surface, and inch by inch, the deer sank. As the lake's surface rose and took the place of the serpent's coils, he could feel his partner's touch in every drop of the lake's water.

Again, he looked to the serpent, uncertainty on display. The serpent leaned in and touched his lips to the deer's. The deer returned the kiss, and the bliss of his partner's touch flooded in through. He began to feel that same bliss seep in through the touch climbing up his legs.

That touch began to climb up the upper half of his thighs, and his breathing unsteadied. Self-consciousness surged and compelled him to keep his breathes inconspicuous. Again, he tried in vain to measure each one, but again, all he did was starve himself of air. His manhood began to dip into the water, and he gasped. That touch closed around his shaft and exposed to his partner every flinch and throb of his erection along with the arousal they betrayed. He panted openly.

Again, he looked to his partner, longing on display. The serpent leaned in and kissed him deeply. His tongue flowed into the deer's mouth and filled it. The deer took gulp after gulp, and beneath his partner's hand, his belly stretched with each one.

The lake's surface continued to rise along his body and engulf every inch below in his partner's touch. It crossed his waistline and began swallowing what had previously blocked it from view. It overtook the serpent's hand, and its touch grew indistinct among that of the lake. The deer felt his partner's touch upon every inch of his midriff, and his partner felt every stretch from every gulp.

The deer slowly closed his eyes as the lake continued to swallow him. He welcomed his partner's touch as the lake's water carried it up past his chest and along his neck. The lake's surface reached his mouth and began to spill inside. He drew in a deep breath through his nose before it, too, disappeared into the lake. The rest of the deer followed shortly thereafter, and with that, he was completely submerged in his partner. At that moment, intimacy was the only cause of his heart's unrest.

The deer opened his eyes and looked above. The lake's surface was growing more and more distant. He looked down. There was no bottom in sight. Before long, he couldn't see anything at all beyond a few feet.

He never felt so vulnerable, but he never felt so comfortable. His partner engulfed him and filled him to the brim. His partner's touch was upon every inch of his body, both inside and out. He'd hid from another's touch for so long, and now he was drowning in it.

Inevitably, he felt the need to breathe. He exhaled, and his breath bubbled up in front of him. The last of his breath floated away, and he closed his eyes. He inhaled, and water filled his mouth. His lungs, however, filled with air. Bewildered, he opened his eyes and exhaled. Again, his breath bubbled up in front of him. He inhaled once more, and the water went no further than the back of his throat. There, his lungs pulled air out from the liquid.

He swallowed, and it flowed down his throat in a continuous stream. He began to swell as more and more of his partner pushed into his stomach. As unnecessary as it was, he continued to swallow, his throat eagerly tugging his partner along the way.

His partner's shapeless touch fondled his backside. He peered over his shoulder, and he could've sworn he could make out the vague shape of the serpent's face just in front of his. The waters of the lake wedged between his breeches then his rim. It began pumping inside of him with a series of thrusts.

His belly swelled with what flowed down his throat and bulged with what thrust in through his backside. His partner filled him, pushing his hide out from the inside and stretching it beyond anything he'd ever imagined. Tension sparked across his hide, and his partner's touch upon every inch of it made the feeling all the more intense.

His erection throbbed against his belly. As it pressed against the taut hide of his abdomen, water surged beneath, and that hide grew ever tauter. It swelled against his manhood, pushing it further and further back until it sat between his thighs.

The sight before him was plainly surreal. Before his eyes, his stomach ballooned out in every direction. As it jutted out from his frame, it almost looked more like a fuzzy, oversized beach ball than a part of his body. As he pressed his arms and legs against it, however, the spark of his nerves assured it was part of him.

He reached back between his thighs and touched his tip. All it took was that one final nudge to send him over the edge. He threw his head back and cried out, voice muted by the water. He writhed in overwhelming ecstasy as his release surged out, a mixture of milky white semen and the water of the lake. His climax spiked with every uncontrollable flinch of his manhood. His partner's shapeless touch closed in around his shaft and milked it for every drop of his release.

Again, he felt as though his climax could last forever, and as seconds turned to minutes, it seemed like it just might. Sensual bliss filled his head and drowned every conscious thought. His consciousness continued to cloud until all that he was aware of was the maddeningly euphoric stretch of his hide. As it touched the bottom of the lake, it, too, slipped away.

He picked himself up off the sand. For a moment, he didn't know where exactly he was, but then the sound of the lake registered. He turned around, and on seeing the dreary lake, the memories of what happened earlier came rushing back. The flood of memories was interrupted when it occurred to him how dry he felt. For a moment, he thought it might've all been a dream, but then the breeze against his lower half reminded him of his lack of clothing below the waist. He looked over to the forest's edge, and there were his pants. He looked down at his stomach - even going so far as to lift his shirt - and although it looked a bit distended, it certainly wasn't big enough to touch the bottom of the lake.

Growing colder by the moment, he made his way over to his pants. On having put them on, he felt a sudden thirst. He looked back at the lake. There, midway to the water's edge, he saw his canteen neatly placed on the sand. He walked over, and as he picked it up, it felt completely full. He unscrewed the lid, and after a quick glance between it and the lake, he gulped it down. Before he began the walk home, he filled the canteen back up. He had every intention of coming back at some point, but he saw no harm in a drink to hold him over until then.
