Cherry blossoms upon the moonlit waters

The moon hung high in the sky like some large ripe fruit ready to be plucked from the very sky, casting its soft clean white glow down upon the many cherry trees that grew wildly in the area, all in bloom in their delicate pink blossoms, the moonlight making them glow. A strong gust of wind blew a a flurry of the blossoms from the trees, taking them along in its wake, twirling and dancing with eachother in some strange gentle dance. The wind blew them towards a dim light that could be seen through the trees. As the blossoms drew closer, a small building seems to materialize out of the trees.

It was a little ornate red building trimmed with gold, the roof covered with soot black tiles made of clay. The door way was open wide, the only thing keeping the blossoms out was an ornate curtain with cherry trees embelished with little petals that seemed so delicate even in thread, one would be hesitant to brush the curtain aside stitched across its surface. Over the entrance was a banner that read 'Open air hot spring' in a long flowing script. Inside was well lit with many paper lanterns hung on a string all along the ceiling, the colours giving the place a festive feel. A small mouse hostess, dressed in a small kimono adorned with water lilies and tall graceful storks, her gentle brown fur groomed and shining in the shops warm light, bows as the guests enter one by one, presenting them with a wooden bucket filled with various soaps and shampoos, and a big warm towel and bath robe. There were to doorways leading off. One led to a changing room, the other to the springs themselves. The changing room was so if anyone wanted to adorn any bathing apparel, they could, although it was not mandatory.

Back outside, the small flurry of blossoms we were following earlier has just made it to the shop, flowing over the top of it to the back, where a truly beautiful sight awaits. There hidden behind the small shop by a high fence, was the hot springs. As you left through the door in the back of the shop, this is where it would take you. It had a natural feel to it, with outcroppings of stone rising from the steaming waters of the springs. The fence was lined with a few of the paper lanterns, but the majority of the light came from that plump moon overhead, giving everything a ghostly, but peaceful appearance. The moonlight caused the slowly rising steam to glimmer and dance dauntingly, captivating all who gazed upon it. The flurry of petals finally settled gently upon the surface of the clean warm waters, all but one, which settled squarely on the snout of the springs one occupant of the evening.

He was a black kitsune, his raven black fur gleaming in the bright moonlight, his tails raised slightly and swaying in the breeze, the blue tips glowing brightly in the evening light. He gave a gentle huff, sending the little petal spiraling down to the water, watching it intently with his icy blue eyes. After it had settled he leaned back against the rock he had been relaxing near, stretching out his toned figure languidly along its surface, enjoying the warmth it gave off from the springs natural heat. He reveled in the scenery around him, and wished that others would come and enjoy this place that he had found.
