#5 of Ace attorney: forever yours
The next day once I fished with my case Gadot came up to me in the break room asking if I was ready Athena looked surprised by this and started thinking we were dating but I ignored her little fangirl crazy and we left to do the investigation. We are on the crime scene at the fair where a worker was killed
"You don't have to stand there kitten you could help me"
"Please don't call me kitten and I am helping you"
"Oh really kitten, and how are you helping me?"
"Just me trying to figure out the crime scene for you while you are doing absolutely nothing on the one with the lead here"
I said crossing my arms as I was trying to impress him but apparently, it worked too well
"So you got this whole crime scene figured out then enlighten me ?"
The real problem was I had no idea what was going on but I had to make up something
"Ok well....someone is going on a killing spree right so it could be anywhere near so maybe it could be someone that works here"
"I could have thought of that "
"Hey, I'm trying to help you! But if you have a better idea then I'm all ears"
"Alright I get it but we would need to know
More, so let's keep looking"
We spent an hour looking for clues and talking to all the people that worked there if they saw anything, I was tired and hungry and he was hard to convince to even take a break
"Okay then you keep working I'm going to go find a shade and a cold drink with my name on it"
I walked away from him and found a food cart, I order almost everything on the menu and ate a hotdog on the way only to realize I didn't know where I was, I forgot how big fairs can be
"Great now how am I going to find him"
"Fine who?"
I turn to see Phoenix Wright with Mia
"Oh hello, Mr wright how's it going?"
"Good see you to tsume, are you doing an investigation here too?"
"No, just eating my life away with fast food"
"If your not careful all that junk food it will go to your thighs"
Maya said with a giggle, she and I never got along when I was helping Mr wright with his work I knew she liked the guy but man she acts like a 12-year-old brat I want to beat up.
"Your funny, it's almost as funny when I tryed to push you into a sinkhole during one of Mr. Wright's investigations"
I said sarcastically with a smile only to see her give me an unhappy look
"So Mr wright what are you doing here?"
"On a case for the murders"
"Funny someone else is here doing that but uh...I lost sight of him"
"Him? Who are you helping?"
"Godot"
"What why?!"
"Wow you seem so concerned"
"He's not"
Maya said as I looked at her then took a breath
"Look I just needed to get away from you know who"
"Really...is it that bad?"
"It was....but not I don't want things to get mix up"
"What's wrong got something wrong with your love life"
"Shut up this is grown folks business"
"Excuse me but Im 17"
"Yea says your grade in math class"
"Hey!"
"Ok you two no fighting"
"Gotta go, Mr. Wright, talk later"
"Ok bye tsume"
I waved to him then I and Maya both stuck out our tongues at each other like kids before I walked away looking for Godot, I walked around still looking at him and ate up the food. Still not seeing him I was about to give up but heard my phone go off
"It was an unknown number"
"Hello?"
"Kitten, I'm in the circus tent"
"Godot how did you get my number?"
"I have ways, hurry I believe I found a clue"
He said as he hung up, I headed to the circus tent that was in the middle of the fair,
"Glad that you made it kitten so where is my food?"
He asked that they took some time to answer
"Will you see what happened was... I ate it"
"On the way here?"
"No, I got lost and got tired of looking for you, oh and then I ran into mr. Wright"
"Phoenix Wright here? Hmm..."
He said as I was confused by the way he was looking until my tension was drawn by someone calling out to Godot. it was a big guy that was a detective name Dick Gumshoe, I pretty much found him amusing as he was trying to butter up Godot but he wasn't having it after hours upon hours on the investigation we decided to continue in the morning
"How did you enjoy our little get-together kitten?" Godot ask me as I walk over to him as we were walking to the parking lot to our cars
"It was exhausting I thought it would never end"
"Would you mind doing it again with me in the morning?"
"Sorry coffee guy but I have work tomorrow and I can't be in two places at once but I got to say it was fun," I said with a smile as I reached my car I said my goodbyes and headed home for well-needed rest.
