How It Began
that night was cold. colder than any night before on record as the moon turned a blood red at the start of winter during the last harvest of the year. though there would be no bountiful food as a near by cry and and explosion had shown that life went horrible wrong a month after a certain child was born. there was a yell of a male before more rung out as the entire village was raided everyone women. children, even the honest men who worked the farms were all dead within minutes as their corpses layed lifeless along the streets the snow turning red with blood as more started to fall that night. the men marhced up and down the dead silent village searching for servivors by order of their lord, Lord Arceius. Arceius was pissed when told that the child was not found taking the horse of one of his men and going out into the surrounding forest in search of women seen fleeing the town. the women had gotten very far but the horse was much faster having been fused with dragon's bllood giving it much greater speed and stamina. though the woman with a small basket around her back continued to run her body on the edge of callapse yet she continue run until finally she fell breathing hard for a few minutes but as she started to get up after catching her breathe she heard a snort. she turned and to her horror saw the man she knew was after her child. she tried to run taking the basket from her back and into her arms the small month old baby boy still lay sleeping as the crystal he held keeped him within his dreams and unaffected by the surrounding world. the horse however was much too quick but the woman was a bit more nibble than the dragon horse able to weave in and out of the trees more closer together and ended up losing her assailent for now she headed for a stream and drank to cold water for a bit of refreshment before running off again. though this time her luck ran out at this point as she didnt see the beartrap screaming out at the pain as her foot bleed heavily within the metal jaws of the trap.
The man slowly approached her after dismounting his horse and walked over to her and taking the basket only seeing it was filled with mud instead of the child as his gaze turned to hers only to see that the poison of the trap had taken affect already her body lay motionless upon the snow her eyes still open though a smile upon her face knowing her son was safe. Arceius grwoled loudly at his frustration at losing the child knowing full well he would meet the boy much older in the future but still set off back to his men to find out where the river went to. Though his anger only increased as he found out the river was far longer than he had hoped knowing the boy was far gone. though the child floating upon an old mini raft sailed down the calm rapids until hitting land before bouncing off back into the middle of the river. The stone still within boy's grip keeping him asleep but for how long?
The stone was able to keep the boy in a deep sleep where even the weakest of people can survive years without any food the stone slowing down evey bodily fuction within to keep the person alive at all costs. Months went by until spring awoke from winters grip the boy still flowing down river (reason why Arceius was so pissed) before his raft bumped into a rock shaking the infant loose of his stone as he soon awake after that sitting up looking around as instinct takes over. he started to cry. his crys echoed far for his mother who lay dead upriver. he continued to cry until night when a feirce gayle hit the surrounding land as he held on for dear life but as you know a little boy just cant hold on for even a for seconds before being thrown off down into the water struggling before blacking out.
Shade woke up gasping and sweating hard. his black Sergal body covered in his sweat getting up and going over to the window to open the curtains to show that it was sunrise. his naked body shiver in the cool air as he opened the window going over to his bathroom to wash and dress himself ready for today as today was the final judgement test to be a full vampire just like his master Sauren and his love Waylon. he loved them both like the parents he always wanted. very eager today as he jumped down stairs for breakfast hugging both his fathers (yes both fathers) and ran out after eating unable to wait tonight for the mass tournament between clans as was the custom to find the strongest warrior. though everytime Shade gets the chance he always wonders what his dreams mean. shaking his head as he heads to school for what could be the most eventful day of his life.........
