After 3 cases I started to head to my car until I saw Godot leaning on it
"is there something wrong Mr. Godot?"
"I just wanted to see if you're alright"
"huh?"
"I know we just met and all but I couldn't help over hearing the fight you had with your boyfriend"
"he's not my boyfriend and Athena is dead for telling you that"
"you know kitten not everything has to be a bloody battle with you, you're cuter when you smile"
"flirting will get you nowhere coffee man, now please excuse me I want to go home now"
"of course, but for what it's worth if a guy like him makes you that mad then what he lost is his fault"
he said as he walked away leaving me confused, I got in my car and headed home once home I took a shower and went to bed not before making sure my door was locked. I woke the next day from the sound of my alarm clock I sigh wishing he was with me but I knew it wouldn't happen. I had the day off today and I thought to spend the time at the cafe
"What would you like to order?" the lady at the register asked me as I looked up at the menu to make my decision
"a cappuccino, please"
I said with a smile as she typed in my order
"Will that be here or to go?"
"That would be here"
"Alright then 2.19"
I paid for my order and took a seat until a familiar voice catches my attention
"I'll take the blackest, hottest and most bitter blend you have to offer."
I turned to face the man, to see Godot, He sat down next to me give me a grin
" Fancy meeting you here ms tsume "
" What are you doing here don't you have work?"
I asked him only to hear him chuckle
"No, I am off just like you are and I always come here for fresh cup of coffee"
"well im sure you busy so I'll leave you to it"
" actually I wanted to talk to you about something"
he said as the waiter handed us our coffee, I drank it only spitting it up from how hot it was
" oh my God I almost died"
I said breathing Heavenly as I look to Godot who was laughing
" don't laugh at me"
"I'm sorry, now as I was saying I have a case has come up and I wanted to know if you would like to do it with me"
" so you're asking me to come with you on your little Witch Hunt case detective thing?"
" yes, it would give us more time to get to know each other"
" work and an introduction... Not really my style but I will accept"
I said What A Smile as I saw that he seemed pretty happy himself, I stayed longer in the cafe with him than normal as we talked about a whole lot of other things he was very mysterious to some things that I asked him and some things that I really wanted to know about was often ignored, after our talk at the cafe we both headed outside to see that it was raining
" no I didn't bring an umbrella"
I said as I looked at to the grey clouds
"If you want I can take you home?"
Godot said as shook my head declining his offer
"It's okay my apartment isn't that far from here anyway thank you for the talk it was nice talking with someone that isn't as crazy as my friend Jake, bye"
I said waving him off as I ran down the street to my apartment building in the rain, once home I lock my door and was surprised to see a bouquet of flowers on my coffee table. I picked up the bouquet of flowers to see a card as I opened it and read it
