C.J. the beaver was in need of some fishing boots. He didn't mind going about things barefoot but Flick was adamant about him wearing some cover if he was serious about trudging through a swamp in search of some rare bog fish.

When it came to shoes, the blonde mammal was admittedly inept. But his always helpful roommate gave him a recommendation to a specialty shop that was guaranteed to have what C.J. was looking for...

The shop owner was a skunk by the name of Kicks. And it was a rather slow day for him and he passed the time by simply arranging the many displays he had, making things look rather neat. Just as he put a pair of sneakers up on display, he got a call from his friend Flick. He was told of a beaver that was looking for some fishing boots. The mustlide was already glad to finally have a job to do but when the chameleon mentioned that C.J. was a first-timer, that made him very excited.

Things had changed a lot since Kicks first opened up shop and that required him to evolve with the times. With no one inside to shop, he decided to close up shop for the day and was quick to pack up a bunch of boots, planning to travel to his newest customer.

Flick had gone off soon after the call, having a good idea of what would take place. He assured his roommate that things would be fine before departing and leaving the mammal alone. And it was not soon after that a knock at the door came. Answering it brought the beaver and skunk face to face for the first time.

For a moment there was a pause, simply looking at each other. Kicks was shorter, having a lithe form. He wore some business casual clothes, and sported a rather large tail that followed close behind him.

Meeting him was a slightly taller beaver with blonde hair, a chubby build. A curious look was on his face, large teeth jutting from his upper lip. True as his friend said, Kicks could see that C.J. was without shoes to accompany his fisherman look. Luckily he had packed just the thing.

Having been invited in, he got straight to work, unpacking his wares and showing them to C.J., who seemed more unsure than before. Of course, Kicks could tell what he needed from just a glance, but where was the fun in that?

"Can you sit down for me?" he asked kindly. "Wanna get to know what I'm working with."

C.J. did so but still did not understand. He felt it up to Kicks to settle him with something that he could really use. Sitting down on his couch, he lifted his legs, exposing his barefoot paws to the other male, who was already on his knees before him. Though he had little knowledge of these kinds of things, it still struck him as strange the skunk was reaching out and gripping one in his paws.

Soft hands were already moving around, rubbing his fingers over the wide sole. Under his touch were soft pads and even a bit of sweat dotted the surface. Already, the skunk could feel himself getting excited. Keeping himself in check, he started out with a simple foot rub. His thumbs did most of the work, pressing and rubbing at the heel and along the sole. Reaching upwards pressed his dulled claws to the rounded toes.

C.J. was already melting from the touches to his paw. He had never felt anything like this before. A comfort spread through his body and the slight aches in his foot was being eased, leaving a feeling of relief behind.

Upon recognizing his customer's delight, Kicks moved onto the other foot and put even more effort into his actions. Seeing the beaver's expression soften, hearing a soft sigh and his eyes fluttering sent tingles down his own spine. As the chubbier male was becoming more relaxed, sitting back on the couch while the visitor was easing the kinks and aches from his other footpaw, starting from the heel and working up to the toes.

Once finishing up that, Kicks got ahead of himself and took hold of a foot in each of his hands. He pressed them together and was now using his face to rub them instead. At first he nuzzled the soft fur of his cheeks to the soles before he turned and pressed his nose into one of them, taking a sniff of the heavy scent that clung to the surface.

C.J. was surprised, not only by what he saw but what he felt as well. Tingles were racing through his body and even the grazing of the smooth nose made his toes flex. At this point, it was clear that this was more than what he expected but the beaver went along with it, keeping his feet pressed to the skunk's face.

Kicks was all too happy to keep taking in whiffs of the earthy musk, letting it fill his lungs and cloud his mind. In between sniffs his face continued to rub against the paws, smearing the sweat and scent along the fur of his face. Sweeping his nose along made it wet with warm sweat and brushing it along the fur that lined the pads roused even more of the smell that sunk within.

When he got his fill from smelling alone, the skunk naturally moved on to using his tongue to clean them up of the sweat, running the hot pink thing along the sole. He felt C.J. flinch but the foot remained in place, giving him a silent 'okay.'

An even stronger feeling came over the rodent as his foot was licked slowly. Hot saliva clung to the sole, replacing the sheen of sweat. Just like when sniffing, Kicks started from the heel and moved all the way up to the toes, lapping over each and going as far as to lick between them as well, collecting even stronger tastes of sweat.

This was all repeated on the other foot, worshiping it with slow and soft licks and deep sniffs in between. Kicks was in total bliss as he prepped the other paw and the soft sounds of delight from C.J. only added to it all. From the sole, his tongue danced along the sweat pads, collecting the lightly bitter taste all the way up to each digit, softly kissing and sucking on them a bit before moving onto the next. When the final was kissed and suckled, Kicks had finally eased back, wearing a smile of satisfaction as he stood up.

"Yeah...yeah... What you need is some of these," Kicks offered, presenting a pair of tall and thick boots, the perfect thing for walking through thick bogs. He offered it at a discount price, to which C.J. agreed, paying it over and sharing a grin as he started to realize the true value of shopping for shoes.

"You know who to call the next time you wanna buy a new pair or maybe even something more casual." Kicks packed up his wares and was on his way back to the car, already looking forward to their next encounter.
