A hot breakfast of eggs, bacon and hashbrowns later, with a half dozen cups of coffee to balance it out, we left the instance behind us. In my arms were an extra coffee-filled diaper with cream and sugar, and another diaper with a carefully placed breakfast of scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, and extra bacon tucked carefully within.

We shamelessly ignored the stares of the other people going about their morning, a few more humans than normal in pants or shirts, even a few with both as people began to get their feet under them. I honestly wished them all the best.

Since my hands were full, everyone placed a hand on me, either my arms or my shoulders and we crossed over the threshold together.

"Good morning gentlemen! I hope you all are having a fine day. Thank you again for the offer of a drink Steve, I do appreciate it by the way." The familiar smooth voice of the wolf greeted us, his eyes sparkling in amusement as they caught sign of my cargo.

"I'm doing pretty good, thanks for asking. Later tonight would you like to pop over again, enjoy some beer and maybe invite a friend or three over to hang out with?" I asked him curiously, and his smile brightened further.

"That sounds wonderful, thank you. Later tonight it is. Now, I'm certain this isn't a social call, what can I do for you gentlemen?" He asked brightly, placing his palms on the countertop, though his nose twitched slightly and he glanced at the diapers in my hands with amusement.

"I would like to transfer every diaper in my bank account to Lee if that's okay? I also wanted to ask you if it was possible to transfer all my furniture, console upgrades, and the window up to the fourth floor, or if there was a fee involved?" I asked. The wolf gave me a puzzled glance but he nodded.

"Your diapers will be transferred as long as Lee gives vocal approval of the transaction. But yes, your belongings, including the console upgrades, window and even the diapers in your room can be transferred for free. Be advised, it is a transfer, it is not a copy. This would mean your apartment on the second floor will no longer have your belongings inside, nor your window or upgrades." He explained, and I let out a relieved sigh. I really didn't want to have to buy everything a second time.

"I approve the transaction. I would also like to pay for everyone here to have access to the third and fourth floor." Lee replied calmly, his expression as stoic as always.

"That will come to a total of fifty-five thousand, do you consent?"" The wolf asked with a friendly smile, snapping his fingers and supposedly removing the diapers from Lee's account.

"There we go, you all have access to the fourth floor. Anything else I can do for you?" He asked.

Everyone else transferred all of their diapers to Lee without hesitation, and I knew at least Ryan had to have more than what Lee paid for the floor access. Once again, I spoke up, getting the wolfs attention.

"And I would like to get an apartment on the fourth floor please? And I would also like to have my console upgrades, belongings, window and my friends belongings transferred please?" I asked hopefully.

The wolf paused briefly before letting out an amused laugh. Not just a chuckle, but a full laugh, requiring a half a minute for him to calm down.

"Of course sir. If I may, I would suggest getting the yearly rental agreement instead of the weekly or monthly. It gives you a ten percent discount on rent. It also offers protection should you decide to leave your apartment, say, by moving to the fifth floor in the next two days, and a full refund of the remainder of your stay. If you choose, your grand total will come to zero diapers. Does this sound good to you?" He asked, his eyebrow raised as he fought to keep a grin from his face.

"That sounds excellent, thank you for the advice. If I may do that, that would be perfect. Just in case, I would like to keep my apartment on the second floor, may I add another guest pass and staff pass to it as well?" I asked, and the wolf paused before chuckling.

"You never cease to surprise, you absolutely may. Your total comes to zero diapers. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

"I would actually like to buy one of those wall, floor and stair upgrade tools for Steve's console on the fourth floor? How much would that cost?" Lee asked, taking control of the conversation with the ease of a hammer.

The wolf shifted with ease, giving Lee a pleasant smile before explaining. "A basic tool to let you place walls how you see fit will cost thirty thousand diapers. Adding the option to add floors, ceilings and stairs will be forty-five, and the upgrade to let you build walls, ceilings, doors, stairs, windows, roofs, and add texture packs should you wish for plywood or brick, or even soundproof construction instead of drywall and hardwood comes to eighty. For all of the upgrades, any construction done is unbreakable, though still affected by gravity, so keep physics in mind." He advised.

Lee didn't hesitate for even a moment before saying "He'll get the eighty thousand version." We all turned to look at him with surprise, when the wolf snapped his fingers.

"If you have nice things, I have nice things. Soundproof walls." He said, as if there was no real choice in the matter.

"After everything is done, you now have." He cut himself off before continuing. "Sorry, I'm used to humans walking in here alone, to check your balance, please check your balance by reading your account tag. Is there anything else I can do for all of you?" He asked seeming quite happy to have actual work to do.

"I think that's about everything, with the staff upgrade to the console, does it allow me to give staff access at all times, whether I invite them or not? There are a few dealers I would like to give the freedom to come and go as they please." I asked curiously.

"Actually yes, it would require upgrading the staff access function on your console. Normally that would be an additional fifteen thousand diapers, but due to your achievements, it is no additional cost. I am assuming you would like to make that upgrade now?" He asked, his eyes practically glittering.

I gave him a knowing grin before confirming his suspicions.

Unfortunately, Lee didn't have enough diapers to get another proper mattress, but I promised him that I would give him what I could after delivering letters later.

We left the wolf with a wave, everyone being basically broke at this point, and we returned up to the second floor, though instead of heading straight towards the rooms, this time we turned and faced the stairway going up towards the next floor.

"I'm sorry Lee." I said apologetically as we all looked up towards the next landing, blocking all sight to the third floor from view around an impassable corner. We could even see a slight shimmer in the air that prevented people from prematurely ascending.

"Sorry for what?" He asked curiously as we all took our first step onto the bottom stair.

"You used all of your earnings, it's going to be a huge setback for you getting your DJ stuff set up." I said calmly as we began to ascend.

"I would likely still be in the diaper pail without you, and it is thanks to you that I am going to have a massive venue that I don't have to pay fifty thousand a week to stay in. That was why I came up with the rate to charge the staff that I did by the way. Included the fifty thousand weekly rent." He said casually with a shrug.

I paused briefly. "I completely forgot about that. I was thinking about our costs, and not what normal costs would ..." I was cut off by a shout from behind us.

"Wait please!"

Callum, Jonas and Lee reacted first, moving quickly to put me and Ryan between them.

At the base of the stairs, a half-dozen feet away stood a lone man, wearing just a cheap, white diaper and a dark yellow t-shirt. His eyes had dark rings underneath showing a lack of sleep. He was scrawny, as if he rarely exercised at all, though he had a jogger's frame. Four-day-old stubble grew on his chin, and his long black hair was a tangled mess.

"What do you want?" Callum asked gruffly, his hands hooking into the pockets of his jeans, though I knew he could put them to use fast enough to be terrifying for the man waiting on the bottom stair.

"Before you guys go up, I was hoping to talk to you. Away from these guys if possible." He said, waving a hand towards me, before dropping his voice into a quiet tone for his second comment, tilting his head to the number of people crowding around on the second floor.

I looked towards the guys, who shrugged at me, obviously waiting for me to be the leader again. I let out a sigh before turning to the guy. "Sure, let's go to the apartment. Keep in mind these guys will be coming with me." I said bluntly.

He simply nodded. Seeming completely unsurprised by the statement that I wasn't going anywhere without my friends "No problem, please lead the way." He said casually, turning his back to us.

He turned towards the hallway entrance that had the smallest number of people sitting around its entrance, and I began to get the feeling this something strange was going on.

As he neared the hallway with us trailing behind, he slowly moved his hands behind his head and interlocked his fingers, lifting his shirt just enough for us to see that he had no weapons tucked into his waistband.

"Hold up." Callum said, and everyone stopped.

I turned to Callum, and noticed Jonas and Lee were all looking in different directions. Jonas was watching the guy in front of us, Callum and Lee were watching the groups of people. "Nobody is looking this way. Who were you signaling?" He asked gruffly.

The guy froze. "I wasn't signaling anyone I swear, You guys always seemed like military, so I thought that doing what police say in all those movies about keeping my hands behind my head. I didn't want to seem threatening I mean. An enclosed hallway with two exits, kinda screams ambush." He said, his calm voice from before now tense.

"Lee, Keep an eye on him, Jonas scout the rest of the hallway." Callum ordered, and the guys sprang into action without a word. Jonas crouched down low, Callum guided us towards the hallway, keeping his eyes on the room behind us, until we were all just barely out of sight of everyone else when he called a halt.

Just ten feet ahead of us was the nearest door, yet from how tense the guys were, it could have been a hundred feet. Ryan seemed borderline panicking, and even I was tense with anticipation.

Jonas returned shortly and flashed Callum some hand signal, who then ducked out of the hall, and peered around the corner carefully, before flashing another hand signal to Jonas.

"Okay Steve, bring all of us into the room, Callum will join us after. Make sure he has a guest pass for your room." Jonas spoke softly into my ear, where even I could barely hear it. I moved up to the nearest door and willed everyone inside, including the stranger.

Once I touched the door handle, a notification entered my vision.

I quickly mumbled the word yes, and I nearly groaned as another one took its place.

Second Floor 1_

I jammed my finger into the air where the notice appeared in my vision, and it seemed to do the trick as the world shimmered in a myriad of colors. Everyone save for Callum appeared in the entrance for the room in a flash briefly after I did, and I quickly moved to the console, sending out a guest pass for the room to the guys.

Within moments, Callum appeared as well, and he helped Jonas and Lee guide the new guy into the room proper, and out of the dimly lit hallway.

"Nobody followed as far as I know, but when we leave, we will have to be careful. Now, who are you?" Callum asked, turning sharply to the guy, and waving for him to take a seat on the floor. He also moved himself into a position between me and the newcomer. Lee covered Ryan in the same way.

"I promise I am no threat to you guys. My name is Marshall, I was a thirty-two-year-old guy from Saskatoon Saskatchewan. That's in Canada if you didn't know. I was hoping to talk with you to see if you would consider letting me in your gang." He said, sitting down where ordered, and placing his hands, palm up, on his lap.

"What makes you think we are a gang?" Callum asked, remaining standing, though he did cross his arms.

"Because I've seen you? He is obviously your leader, you three are the muscle, and I'm guessing skinny over there is the lawyer?" he said, finishing my nodding over in Ryan's direction, who was obviously having trouble fighting down a grin.

"Say that's true, why would you want to join a gang like ours?" He continued, his own expression betraying nothing.

"Because he is a leader who is not ashamed to get his own hands dirty, and doesn't skip out on doing hard work himself. Last night I stopped by the shop and asked about clothing sets after he told us about them. They're expensive, and only grant bonus diapers in very specific scenarios. That postmaster uniform? He would have to receive and deliver mail himself. Maybe he forced you to pool your money so he could have an easy job just deli-" he was cut off as Callum barked a laugh.

I crossed my arms and kept my expression stony as I saw everyone else was openly grinning. Callum had to clear his throat a few times before he calmed down enough to indicate for him to continue.

"What did I say?" He asked, his brows furrowing.

"Nothing, keep going." Callum ordered, barely able to contain his smirk, though his lips still twitched.

"Well, other than the goofy uniform, he gets an easy job delivering letters, but he still works. Unlike that homophobic, racist asshole you put in his place yesterday. He's treating a room he rented like the promised land, and is coercing people into giving him diapers so he can get some upgrade that lets people come and go..." He broke his own train of thought before he looked up at me with slightly widened eyes.

"You already have it! All of you already earned that many diapers? To buy clothes, two clothing sets, and even a room upgrade? There are only five of you!" He raised his voice in a mix of awe and frustration.

"Two clothing sets?" I asked, raising an eyebrow as the others fought their own amused expressions, fighting to suppress them and barely succeeding.

"The weird rubber horse thing you made your guys wear the last two days?" he said with a roll of his eyes.

"Fair enough. Now, what is the real reason you want to join us? I mean, because it sounds like I'm just the lazy, tyrannical boss who makes my minions do the hard work while I just deliver mail?" I asked casually.

"Because you're not transphobic, unlike that prick out there. At least if your speech was sincere yesterday." They replied while crossing their arms over their chest, a little bit of pink color rising to their cheeks. To their credit, they didn't look away from me.

"Oh." I said stupidly, any arguments I had growing in my mind fleeing out the window.

"Yeah." Came the reply, and a bit of red flushed to their cheeks.

"Wait so you're a-" Callum began when I cut him off sharply without apology for once.

"Here and now, I would like to confirm, do any of you have a problem with transgendered men or women?" I asked, and all heads turned towards me. I wasn't good at schooling my expressions, and I knew I had a frown on my face.

"Never. One of our squad mates who was in the same vehicle as us when the IED went off planned to finish her tour and start therapy to become a woman when she got back home to her wife. I truly hope she survived, one of the nicest folks you'd ever meet." Callum said, and both Jonas and Lee nodded their agreement.

"Not me, helped my ex-boyfriend with his, now her transitioning. Now, if you are lying just to get our sympathy, and I find out, you will regret trying to use it to get my sympathy." Ryan said calmly his own voice containing steel.

I was so proud of my friends, and I gave them a nerdy salute with a clasped fist to my heart before turning back to Marshall who explained their situation.

"Let me tell you how I died. I finally, finally got the approval to start hormone therapy. After nine years of therapists, psychiatrists, and dealing with doctors and their bullshit I was finally approved. I died on the steps of the clinic, a few feet from the door because of a righteous asshole with a knife." They finished, a single tear running down their cheek as they pushed the last sentence through gritted teeth.

I looked at all of the guys who looked at me in turn, and I nodded slightly. I turned to Marshall once I received confirmation of their approval and took my turn to explain things.

"I already made promises to my friends that I would help them out with getting their dreams off the ground. What is another promise to help someone transition? At least in this world such a thing should be pretty quick and inexpensive. I would bet some sort of potion, ring or some other thing would make it easy enough." I said casually. If it only cost thirty thousand diapers to turn me into a horse, it couldn't be much more expensive to turn Marshall into a woman.

"Before promises are made, first, we are not a gang. We are a brotherhood. Actually, thanks to our courageous leader, Fellowship would be more appropriate. These guys are my brothers and I would go to hell for them if needed, and they would do the same for me. Steve is our leader, despite having no idea a vote was even taken. It was unanimous, and without hesitation. We are only here to help him cut back on the self-sacrifice he tends to do." Lee said, opening his notebook and beginning to flip through the pages.

Marshall looked completely confused. "You mean he's not making you do the hard work for him? He's not taking all of your money for his own ends?" they asked.

"Not twenty minutes ago Steve transferred every diaper he had in his bank account to mine, so we could all ascend to the fourth floor together. Do you remember that show Terinas put on stage, that poor guy who got fucked repeatedly by dealers while strapped to a bench in a maid's uniform? Covered in piss-soaked diapers?" Jonas asked, giving me an apologetic glance but I simply shrugged.

"Yeah?" Marshall asked hesitantly, eyes shifting from Lee to me with slight suspicion.

"Well, three idiots were planning to attack and rob a dealer. Terinas came to another person and asked them to help him put on a show. To scare the three idiots, and any other person who was planning to rob a dealer or harm one, into never doing it or suffer extreme consequences. Steve volunteered to put on the show, in order to stop said idiots from making an absolutely terrible mistake."

"It wasn't entirely altruistic, I did get paid." I said, but Callum snorted.

"You were offered ten thousand diapers or a mystery box, you chose the mystery box and you didn't even open it for two days. That's how much you cared about being paid for doing what you did. Even then, you were blindfolded. That wolf..." He shuddered, and even Ryan closed his eyes tight.

"It wasn't that bad?" I asked, hesitantly.

"It hurt me. Your gut was so bloated I thought you were going to die, and they kept pumping more into you. I am amazed that wolf didn't shatter bones when he rammed into you." Lee said calmly, and despite being as hard to read as he was, I saw the haunted look in his eyes.

I stood there awkwardly, unsure of what to say before Jonas continued. "He has earned nearly a hundred and fifty thousand diapers, and has put himself in so many extreme situations that I'm not sure if his soul is fully intact, and he has only purchased a single thing for himself. And that was because the diaper fox on this floor promised he would not give Steve another hug for ten years if he didn't. He is paying for our room, our food, giving us advice, information on achievements, letting us use his clothing sets, and all we do is make sure he gets to where he is going safely."

"Okay guys, I'm seriously getting uncomfortable. You can't truly believe all of that. Plus I snore, bad." I said, trying to add some humor to the tense situation.

"We do man, unanimously." Ryan said plainly, ignoring my attempt at humor completely.

"Holy shit." I thought.

Marshall looked between us before turning to me, his eyes practically begging. "Can I please join your group?" He asked, his voice a near-whisper.

"Nope." I said bluntly without even a moment of hesitation. So bluntly that even Lee looked up in surprise.

"What? Why?" they asked, also taken aback.

"I don't know you. I met Ryan on the first day, and he was kind, and polite and took the time to talk to me. He didn't know me and had every reason to be wary of the naked guy carrying diapers around but he was kind nonetheless. Him and the other three I met on stage after they all were yelling for Terinas to let me shit myself. They were willing to sacrifice everything they owned to give me even the smallest bit of relief in my situation. For a stranger they had never met, and for all intents and purposes, had intended to rob someone." I explained casually.

"But, then..." Marshall began before I cut them off.

"You on the other hand, I don't know in the least. You thought we were a gang. That just shows me that you were too focused on the money we had, and not how we treat each other. Did you think that admitting that you're trans would be enough for me to trust you? Don't get me wrong, I'm proud of you for telling us. I respect that." I continued, without letting them get a word in.

"This place however, isn't heaven. I don't trust a single person aside from these guys to not stab me in the kidneys the moment they have something to gain from it. You have to earn my trust before I will bare my neck to you. I have too much to do to wonder if you're spying on me, or planning to rob or kill me." I said, keeping my voice steady as I ruthlessly turned them down. At least as ruthlessly as I could.

"Damn Steve, that's cold. Fair, but cold. I would expect that from me or Callum, but not you. You alright bud?" Jonas asked with sincere concern, and I began to blush slightly as I stared down Marshall, keeping my eyes locked on theirs as I waited for their argument.

Marshall took in a deep but slow breath before letting it out just as slow. Finally, they gave me a short nod. "I understand. Acquaintances as you said, until trust is earned?" They asked, moving themselves into a standing position. I gave them a nod

"I'll give you free access to this room. You can come and go as you please. I will block any access for you to invite others to this room so you, and you alone will be able to come and go from here." I stated calmly, though I didn't tell them that I would still allow dealers to access the place.

I watched their expression, changing from indignant, to confused, and suddenly wary. "What's the catch?" They asked.

"The room is mine, though you may live here for free. I'll even promise you that anything you bring in here is yours to keep even though the magic of the room transfers ownership to me if things are left inside unattended." I explained.

"So, nothing will be able to stop you from simply taking my stuff if I stay here?" They asked, a frown on their face. They seem surprised when I nodded in confirmation.

"Nothing stops me from coming in here and just moving everything of yours into my room upstairs. You would just have to trust that I won't do that to you. Or, just don't bring anything in here. You'll just have to take me at my word, or not." I replied calmly.

My friends remained silent as I spoke, deferring to me, though I should have discussed things with them first. "You will have a roof over your head for the next forty days, and then I will check on you to make sure you're doing okay."

Without waiting for a reply, I turned to my friends and grinned.

"You guys ready to go?" I asked. Admittedly I was excited to check out the next floor, and the delay had me a little bit irritable.

Without a word, they all nodded and joined me to walk towards the door. I stopped near the door and followed through with my promise, to add Marshall to the guest list.

"Why are you doing this?" Marshall called out, their voice sounding completely confused.

"What's your name?" I called in reply.

"I told you, it's Marshall!"

"Is Marshall the name you chose for yourself, or the name that others chose for you?" I asked curiously before grasping the door handle without waiting for a response and disappearing from the room in a myriad of bright colors.

"What are you planning?" Ryan asked curiously as we ascended the second set of stairs towards the third floor, with the landing almost in sight.

"Nothing heinous. I do want more friends, but I don't want to be friends with those that are looking for handouts, or to ride my coat tails so to speak." I replied with a shrug as me cleared the first landing.

The third floor was twice as large as the second floor, with more couches, potted plants, carpets and coffee tables spread throughout. The couches were three-seaters instead of two, and the cushions looked plusher than the floor below as well.

The floor was no longer dull-grey and worn carpet, but instead a royal blue, which matched the waterproof mattresses on top of the changing tables strategically placed near short wall dividers that blocked off each couch for a semblance of privacy. Altogether there seemed to be enough couches for three-quarters of the humans to be able to lay down.

There were a few large televisions hanging off of the walls on the perimeter of the floor, each showing a different gameshow or gambling table. The people that were shown gambling all had their faces and bodies blurred and rendering it impossible to tell who they were.

A row of computers, colored brightly like the 90's transparent plastic aesthetic, lined the far walls from us, in between four vending machines. One for coffee, another snacks, the third for soft drinks, and the final one for diapers, lube and condoms. Outside the vending machines were the showers, and then a familiar hallway to lead towards the rooms.

Unlike the second floor however, there were three diaper critters roaming around. A rather busty rabbit lady with neon pink eyes. The plastic of her body was pristine white, though the tapes all were a light pink color. Her breasts also seemed to have baby-bottle nipples instead of smooth plastic, or plastic nipples as expected. Seeing her exposed feminine anatomy between her legs admittedly brought some warmth to my cheeks.

The second was a bear. A big, muscular bear. How a diaper could have visible muscles under the soft plastic I wasn't sure. He did have a large belly, with a design of some sort going down from under his chin to his large and plump sheath that reminded me of the old disposable dixie cups from the nineties. His tapes were black, which admittedly was a neat touch.

The final diaper critter was a large western dragon. It's body of smooth white plastic was large, though not as big as a dragon could be. He, because it definitely was a he, stretched roughly fifteen feet from puffy nose to padded tail. The tapes holding his body together were large, and a sparkling crimson red, as if made from rubies. Unlike the other two maintenance staff, he seemed to proudly wear a diaper, a thick royal purple diaper, bloated so much from his likely orgasms, that the purple was fading to pink in the crotch.

He had claws and legs, unlike wyverns, and his wings which were held tight to his body as he inspected a diaper pail were so large that they nearly trailed on the ground. Just like his tapes, the membrane seemed to sparkle as if it was dusted with powdered ruby.

Achievement earned: Going Up 2

What? Were the showers on the second floor not good enough for you? Or are you just horny for diaper dragons? If you ask nicely, I'm sure he'll let you blow him. Let me grab some popcorn first!

For ascending to the third floor, you now require less sleep to become fully rested.

For standing on the third floor for more than ten seconds, you now require 10% less sleep than before to become fully rested. This bonus is added to previous and later tiers.

First achievement bonus: The temperature of the showers on the third floor can now be adjusted 25% further than normal in either direction

Group Achievement Bonus: The water pressure in the third-floor showers is 15% closer to your ideal pressure.

"Oh? Humans are coming here already? I guess I owe you a thousand diapers then." The bear chuckled as he waved his paw and a diaper appeared in its grasp. He casually tossed it over to the dragon who grinned and caught it with his tail. Another diaper hit him in the nose as it was tossed from a grinning rabbit.

"Hey, nice to meet you folks!" I called out while flashing them a grin, which seemed to surprise them, though the dragon seemed amused more than anything.

"Unfortunately, we're just passing through today, but I'd love to come back later and properly meet you all! By the way, I love your design, it's making me kind of nostalgic." I said, flashing the surprised bear a thumbs up.

"Also, your tapes are glorious. Any chance you might be interested in having your portrait painted at some point? I haven't seen what he can do yet, but getting that shade of red would be a helluva project for him to practice on if nothing else." I added, grinning at the dragon who chortled in amusement as I slapped Ryan on the shoulder cheerfully, as he blushed in embarrassment.

"You are odd. Not one of the traits Lord Terinas told us humans would have. Has he told us wrong?" The rabbit looked towards the bear and dragon in confusion, when I shook my head and got their attention once more.

"He wasn't wrong. Us humans are selfish, rude, and quick to hate. I am just a really weird human, and my friends are still getting used to my way of thinking. So, don't let down your guard around any humans you meet in the future." I explained, which only seemed to confuse them even more.

"Again, you are odd. Thank you for the advice, I think?" The bear spoke, scratching his crinkly belly casually as he tried to parse out what was happening in his head. The dragon alone seemed amused, somehow seeming as if he fully understood what was going on.

With that, we all turned around, and began to ascend to the next floor, my friends looking at me with amusement as I placed my hands on the back of my head and interlocked my fingers, humming out a tune until we disappeared from sight of the staff.

"You messed with them on purpose." Lee accused, amusement in his voice.

"Yup." Was all I responded with.

"Why?"

"To make them curious."

"Why?"

"So they judge every human they meet by how their interactions with that human go, and not by what Terinas told them to expect."

"Why?"

"That way they don't get taken advantage of, yet still keep an open mind. People are going to mistreat them simply because they're made of diaper. I want them to know that there is hope that the rest of eternity has a chance to not consist entirely of abuse, anger, cruelty. How miserable of an existence would that be if you didn't know that there was a possibility that someone could be kind to you? I want them to be able to have at least a sliver of hope."

"So, we better start building a pile of diapers next to the beer keg? And invest in a coffee machine?" Lee asked as we neared the fourth-floor landing.

I paused briefly, before giving him a thankful grin. "If you guys don't me spending my diapers on that, I would appreciate it. I know we have other-" Callum cut me off with a wave of his hand and a grin.

"Dude, we got you. I'll pay that slot machine of yours a visit, even I can pull a cart while dressed in a weird outfit. I'll get any winnings turned into diapers. If nothing else, it's a head start on what we are going to stock the changing rooms with."

We cleared the landing, and the massive room seemed to be twice the size of the third floor as well. The plastic plants had been replaced with real ones, and the dividers between the sofas on the floor had planter boxes in the center, filled with bright colored flowers. The thick carpets were a forest green, and the coffee tables all topped with a pad of paper, pen, and TV remote and a bonsai plant.

Oh yeah, every couch had a TV opposite it. Each couch seeming to be the bed in its own miniature bedroom, though with complete lack of privacy.

There were five maintenance staff on this floor, most of them wandering around with watering cans that never seemed to run out of water as they watered the flowers, plants and the bonsai on the tables.

This floor has a male mouse, with light-blue tapes and admittedly cute teeth that were always on display. A small puffy sheath freely exposed between his legs, only partly covered by a shiny metal chastity cage.

A male badger with orange tapes and a perpetual scowl and wearing a thick white diaper that was surprisingly clean or at least any accidents were not visible.

A sleek panther woman with shimmering silver tapes, large hips and breasts. Just like the rabbit on the floor below, her breasts had crystal clear bottle nipples on her breasts, and white fluid seemed to slosh within them. She had no visible cock or sheath, only soft puffy plastic lips between her thighs that were modestly covered by a single diaper tape. Unlike the others, she wasn't wearing a diaper of her own

A male sheep with impressive curled horns watered a patch of tulips, his diaper was visibly leaking pink goo, which seemed to be absorbed by his skin as it reached his knees and calves. His diaper tapes were a transparent green, as if looking through a plastic bottle.

And finally, my first avian. A crow with puffy wings that had the appearance of feathers despite being made of diaper. His taloned feet rustled with each step he made, as he moved to water the nearby plants, using his surprisingly dexterous wings as hands. His beak looked soft instead of sharp like most avian, and the tapes on his body were all black, though they seemed to sparkle as if silver dust was mixed into black paint.

Instead of there just being two hallways that lead to the apartments, this large floor had two hallways that looped together on each of the cardinal walls. No matter where one was in the lobby, there would be a straightforward path to their apartments.

Vending machines, changing tables, computers and even video game areas were spread out. The video game consoles all ranging from the nineties to the early two-thousands, the computers upgraded to flat screen monitors, and there were even pop dispensing machines next to the water fountains that appeared as if they were free to use.

Off in one of the corners of the floor, there was a large playground. It had soft, pristine sand, swings, monkey bars, slides, and all sorts of equipment that seemed designed for children to play on, though sized for adults.

Achievement earned: Going Up 3

I bet you can't wait to ask the badger to plow you in the sand. Maybe the sheep will sit in your lap on the swings if you ask nicely.

For ascending to the fourth floor, you now require less sleep to become fully rested.

For standing on the fourth floor for more than ten seconds, you now require 10% less sleep than before to become fully rested. This bonus is added to previous and later tiers.

First achievement bonus: The temperature of the showers and hot tubs on the fourth floor can now be adjusted 25% further than normal in either direction

Group Achievement Bonus: The water pressure in the fourth-floor showers is improved by 15%

"Guys, this floor has hot tubs." I whispered excitedly, which seemed to carry across the floor as the badger turned his head sharply in our direction.

"Seriously?" He spoke in surprise, his eyes going wide.

"Hey there! Nice to meet you, I'm Steve. We're just going to go check out the new apartment, if you folks are interested, we can send you all an invite to come check the place out in a bit. We have beer!" I said with a bright smile once the attention of all of the diaper critters were on us.

And yet again, I had to lapse into an explanation of why I was just a weirdo, and they still shouldn't trust us humans.

"You really are strange. But thankfully Terinas did warn us that there was one of you humans that seemed to honestly want to make friends. He also warned to not trust anyone, including you, and to make our own decisions." The mouse spoke in a surprisingly smooth voice, kind of going against what I expected in my head.

"I have never tried beer. I admit I am curious though, does it taste as good as diapers?" The panther asked in a slight purr. Her tongue slowly ran over her lips in anticipation, showing me a few of her pointy teeth.

"Well, we have a friend on the second floor who seems to really like it. Don't worry, we will be sure to pour it into diapers for you so you can try it properly." I promised with a grin.

"We just have to go check out the room, do some adjustments of things and then we'll send you folks an invite. I guess only a copy of you will be in the room, but your main body will still be able to enjoy it right?" I asked, to their surprise.

"Yes that's right. How did you know?" The badger asked, his slightly growling tone impressed.

"My friend from the second floor is a diaper like you folks. He explained it last night, how even while he's in my room, there is a version of him in every other room, bathroom, and on the main floor that he's in charge of cleaning. He's a nice guy, gives really good hugs." I explained with a bright smile, getting a chuckle from Jonas.

"We really should head towards the room now though. We want to get a head start on bidding on the competition and registering. To give you folks a heads up, I'm aiming for first place." I said with a grin.

The staff turned towards one another, sharing glances before shrugging. "Sure, send us an invite later and we'll pop by. I'm curious to try this beer of yours." The crow commented, their voice surprisingly female, though despite the lack of diaper they seemed to have no sexual organs or breasts identifying them as such.

I should stop assuming things by this point.

With that, I nodded at them, and all five of us made our way towards the rooms.

_Rooms available:

Floor 4, Room 1_

The world shimmered around us in a swirl of colors, to settle a moment later in a slightly familiar view.

We were standing in a hallway, ten feet wide and ten feet tall. It extended out twenty feet before turning sharply to the left into where the room proper must be.

I looked towards the guys who looked back at me, before Ryan spoke up cheerfully. "Lead on glorious leader, your empire awaits!"

We all chuckled and I gave him a soft punch on the arm before turning to do just that. We moved at a hastened pace, our feet slapping noisily on the hardwood floor with each step and the diapers under our pants rustling noisily.

When we finally exited the hall and stepped into the main room proper, I was blown away at how huge it was. It's one thing to hear a hundred and sixty feet, it's a whole different story to see it.

On the far wall, I'm actually going to say in the distance, my windows extended from the floor to the ceiling, eighty feet up, and they covered the full length of one of the walls.

The scenery had changed from on the floor below and it had left me with a feeling of awe. It was as if we were looking out of one of the windows on an old Spanish ship from the renaissance. I could see edges of the ship just beyond the window, the prow extending towards the right, and before us was a never-ending landscape, with small puffy clouds floating beneath us and occaisionally clouding over the view as we passed through them.

Trees, lakes, medieval towns and mountains passed beneath us as we sailed through the skies. A flight of massive wyverns passed ahead of us by a hundred meters, performing aerial acrobatics as if entertained by the ship sailing through their airspace. Their scales reflecting the sun with their own rainbow light.

The rest of the furniture was placed as it was on the floor below, the two sofas facing the window, though now seeming extremely small compared to before. The crib and the beer keg on the left wall, and all of the diapers stacked neatly in their own respective piles.

My moose however was placed on the windowsill, resting upon one of the sofa pillows, and placed to look out the window to watch the scenery.

We walked into the room in silence, all of us looking around in wonder at the sheer size of the place. I made my way over to the crib, where my postmaster uniform was folded and placed underneath, and I grabbed my messenger bag, unable to get my pen and notebook out fast enough.

Knowing my bank account was empty, I then moved over to my pile of diapers placed in my crib, and I placed a hundred points worth on top of my notebook. As I expected, the diapers all seemed to melt into the book, as if the dark blue cover was made of syrup and the diapers sunk beneath the surface.

On the bottom right side of the cover, in white writing was the number 10, showing how many pages I had access to.

"You know Lee has a notebook, right?" Ryan said as he turned towards me, pulling himself away from looking out the window.

"I know, but I may as well use this instead of making you guys pay for everything." I said with a chuckle as I pulled out one page from the book, the number on the cover changing to a 9.

"Whatever you say man." He chuckled, waving the guys over.

"So what are you up to?" He asked curiously, sitting down on the floor beside me as I sat down and began to sketch out a quick drawing of the current room.

"I'm drawing out an idea for how to set up the walls and stuff for the room. I was thinking to place the bar along this wall here, right near the entrance so everyone has to walk past it to get into the room proper." I said, pointing to the wall on our left when exiting the hallway.

"Make it a sixty-foot-long bar, attached to a room with a lockable door. The room should be twenty feet wide and sixty feet long, ending against the far wall with the window. I was thinking the room should have a door on the far end that exits to the right, leading directly onto a stage. That way the bartender can store diapers, and extra bar supplies like lemons and crap in there, and Lee can also use the far end as a dressing room, and where to store equipment that he's not using." I suggested, drawing it out on the paper, showing them my plans, and they followed along, nodding without interruption.

"The stage should be large. At least half of the far wall, we need that window to be the main backdrop for the show so we can save on projectors in the beginning. It should also extend out forty feet from the wall, so if we get another band, all the band members can move around freely."

I paused briefly, before I began to sketch in the corner completely opposite the stage. "Here is where our rooms should go. We own the place, sorta, so we get big rooms. If the window is north, we should have three rooms that are twenty feet square on the south wall, the last room thirty feet from the east wall. Three more rooms on the east, thirty feet from the south wall." I said as I drew.

"Why the gap? Why not put a room there and use the space?" Jonas asked curiously, his voice thoughtful.

"So we can put stairs going to an upper floor, with an extended balcony and six more rooms directly above the others. While Lee is working, us and our friends can watch him do his thing from on high. And it can be a common area for us to hang out and relax. Toss the couches upstairs, get some videogames or darts or something. A place for us to get away from the crowd without hiding in our rooms."

I drew an enclosed area in the northeast section of my drawing, if it was to scale it would be fifty feet wide and sixty feet long. I also drew six boxes inside the area on the east wall with a smaller box crammed into the upper corner.

"What's that for?" Callum asked.

"Sex area for the staff. Chuck in a bunch of bondage equipment, easy to clean flooring, and a few cases of condoms or something. The six larger boxes are diaper change rooms, stock each with a hundred or two diapers, and the staff can always ask the bar for more if they start running low. Toss a tip jar in each. The smallest room would be a janitorial closet for convenience." I explained, drawing six similar rooms on the south wall right near the hallway exit.

"For the staff not getting frisky in the sex area?" Lee asked, and I flashed him a grin.

"Yup, though for how many diapers we might need to stock, I guess an extra storage area for the bartender right... here should do the trick." I said thoughtfully as I added an extra twenty-foot wide room extending from the south end of the bar on the west wall right to the wall on the south end of the room.

That left a lot of open space in the center of the room, for people to dance, converse, drink and hang out. Still, a thought occurred to me and I drew a long rectangle area that sat twenty feet from our bedrooms on the south and east side, turning the northwest and southeast corners of it into right angles, and drawing in a gate on each one.

"That's pretty big, what's the plan?" Ryan asked, unable to hide his grin as he got a look at my design, seeming to like how it was turning out.

"I got an achievement that lets me save money when buying playground equipment sized for adults but designed for nine-year-old's and under. After visiting that bartender last night, I realized that some dealers are actually quite infantile and would probably like a playground more than a sex dungeon. Of course, it will be a low priority if it were to ever actually happen. Something we can put out a vote to the dealers for in the future." I suggested, and the guys all nodded heir understanding.

"Since the walls are unbreakable, and only affected by gravity, can you make some lattice framework over the stage and a bit of the dance area, maybe twenty feet up? To hang lights and speakers from." Lee asked, and I nodded, writing the request on the page under my sketch.

"I like it, but it's a shame we won't get the window in the bedrooms." Ryan commented, and I nodded in understanding.

"Yeah, but once we start getting an income from booze and music, it is only ten-thousand per wall. Though since it is my room, it would likely all show the same scene and I don't know if it would be from different angles either." I said with a chuckle.

"What about benches?" Callum asked, and we all looked at him curiously.

"I mean, outside the rooms here, on both the first and second floor. If you can build walls, you can probably make benches outside every room. So you can lean your back against the room wall, and watch the show through the railing if you wanted. Get another keg of beer just for us to have in the private area you made here, and we can enjoy Lee's efforts in comfort." He said with a chuckle.

"Good idea, but that raises another question. Lee, are you going to want days off? Like every first, fourth and seventh day off in any given week? Still let the staff come in, but just start up a playlist or something? And how long will you want to play for?" I asked, looking at our resident moneymaker with concern.

To his credit, he put some serious thought into it before responding. "I think that's a good plan for now. In the beginning it will just be a playlist anyways. But when I'm actually mixing, a few days off a week like that will be good. If I take days off, I should be able to manage eight hours a day. Just let me know what achievements you earn that improve stamina?" He asked, and I gave him a nod and a thumbs up.

"Anything else? I mean, we can always change things later so none of this is permanent." I added, and everyone voiced that they were good.

"Alrighty then." I said, pushing myself into a standing position with a groan, and I made my way over to the hall, my friends disappearing from my view.

Standing in front of the console, I looked back towards the room to make sure they weren't following behind me and I let out a soft sigh. My bladder released easily and hot warmth spread over my crotch as my diaper absorbed more of the coffee I drank that morning, the padding comfortably warm and swollen.

I moved slowly and placed my hands on my knees as I squat slightly. With minimal effort thanks to my achievements I'd earned, the bloated feeling in my gut eased as I pushed, and firm, hot mess pushed out of my rear and spread into the seat of my diaper.

The scent of thick rubber filled the air to my chagrin as I pushed out what I could, shuddering slightly in disgust from how easily I went about soiling myself.

My hairless cheeks were spread by my mess, and the feeling was far more gross than when I had hair, and the moment I was finished I mentally spoke the command words to change my diaper.

"I want my dirty diaper changed." I thought with as much intent as I could. Over the span of five seconds, I felt my mess get absorbed into my diaper as if it was fueling the sudden increase in bulk, leaving my ass clean once more. My crotch was no longer hot once the cloud of powder dissipated, all of my piss gone as if I never wet myself in the first place.

"Not like you to hide man." Ryan chuckled as he leaned against the hallway, his arms crossed and an amused expression on his face. Until Jonas walked up behind him and smacked the back of his head with an open palm hard enough to make him stumble.

"Don't be such an asshole you fucker. Don't you go denying anybody their dignity, it's hard enough to keep in this place without you taking the rest." He growled, Lee coming around the corner as well and giving Ryan another smack on the back of the head, without saying anything.

"Oh yeah, uh, sorry Steve. I wasn't thinking." He said sincerely apologetic as he blushed, rubbing the back of his stinging head.

I chuckled and shook my head. "It's okay man. It's just, it's one thing to be forced to do it by the dealers, that doesn't bother me at all. But doing it willingly, just, I'm still not comfortable with it." I said, stumbling over my words.

"I understand man, again I'm sorry." He apologized once more, and he tapped his fist against mine as I held it out to him.

"Anyways, this might take a while, and the changes won't happen while we're in the room." I said as I accessed the console, and opened it up to the "Construction" Tab, which showed a large screen as if it were a computer, the room displayed on it as if it were a three-dimensional image with a grid laid over top.

Taking a brief look at the sketch in my hand, I began to look through the tabs, and I decided to start with using the wall tool for building the rooms, thankfully able to select soundproof walls with drywall exteriors. As the description said, it was "100% Soundproof, nobody can hear you moan." So it had to be effective.

As if playing one of those simulation games in sandbox mode, with unlimited budget, I got to work. It took nearly an hour to build the rooms, the upstairs landing and bedrooms with soundproof floors to get it how I wanted.

The railings on the upstairs deck outside the rooms, and on the staircases for safety I made from crystal clear glass, where the description said "Repels all dirt, regardless of how much you cum on it." And so I also used it for windows inside the rooms. They could always be covered by curtains.

The benches were easy. I placed them just outside the rooms, and they were made of sturdy pine wood, giving it a nice yellow color. They were flat and solid, but getting a few pillows or cushions should be easy enough.

Next I built all of the diaper change rooms, as well as the fenced in area for all the staff sex parties. Since it was a bondage dungeon area in the making, I made the fence out of one-way mirror. So those who were inside could look out at the stage and crowd with ease, while those still outside didn't have to watch what happened inside.

Especially Lee on stage, some distractions were unnecessary.

The floor I selected to be permanently polished black latex, that was supposedly extremely easy to clean. Again the description helped explain just how easy and for what purposes the floor was made.

It even had a bit of springiness to it, for better grip apparently.

It took some effort to figure out the stage, I ended up just making a few walls in an enclosed room that was six feet tall, and I placed extra walls inside as a form of lattice. I know the walls were unbreakable, but I hoped it would cut down on the vibrations a bit.

I then laid a floor of black lacquer that was generously filled with white specks that looked like stars swirling around the center of the stage like a galaxy. I thought it looked cool, but it would be something we would be able to change to match Lee's stage persona.

The bar was easy, a simple short wall with a floor two feet up on the inside of the counter, small supports placed every ten feet to reinforce it, and an extra floor placed on top made of thick reddish-orange wood the system described as "Willow sheeting with a smooth polish" to complete the counter.

The last two storage rooms were simple, made of the same soundproofed wall with the white drywall interior and exterior.

I decided to leave out work on the playground until I was ready to start purchasing equipment. It would be too expensive and too low of a priority for now.

I placed ceiling lights in every room, with light-switches near the doors for convenient access. I never understood why some commercial buildings put the switches outside the doors.

The diaper changing rooms all had fans in the ceilings that did not suck out the air, but instead purified it. So no matter how many diapers filled the pails inside, the air would at most only get slightly gross.

As I clicked to finalize the design, I received a prompt that I could not finalize the design until all the furniture in the way was removed. I frowned as I checked to see if I could move things using the console, and I let out a breath.

"What's up?" Ryan asked from his spot on the floor, leaning against the wall.

"Nothing really, I just need to move the furniture out of the way, but I can use the console to do it. I'm claiming one of the bedrooms by the way." I said with a chuckle as I moved the image of the crib on the screen, with my clothing and plush into one of the downstairs rooms, the one on the south wall closest to the hang-out area I planned.

I adjusted the bar counter to have a small hole in it about half way down, and I maneuvered the beer keg so it would sit in the perfect spot for the tap to be above the counter with the keg hidden below. I had to make an extra shelf underneath, but after zooming in and maneuvering things, the keg glowed green on the screen.

The couches went on top of the stage near the window. I wasn't ready to stop being able to enjoy that view up close.

Finally all of the diapers we had in the room moved towards the relaxation area I built in between the rooms in the southeast corner. And with that, my design was approved.

Room design complete.

"Okay, that's pretty fucking sweet. I can save room layouts as blueprints, and I can fast load layouts. So, we could have this whole place as a swimming pool, and then five minutes to six we can turn it into a stage with a giant mosh pit, and at two in the morning get rid of the stage and replace it with bedrooms. Once everyone leaves at least." I said, and Jonas let out a low whistle.

"So, we can easily have Ryans art gallery in the morning and Lee can party at night? He can even easily change his setup for different events? Like, set up for karaoke, setup for a rave, and set up for a metal concert?"

I gave Jonas a nod, and he grinned widely. "Fucking sweet."

We left and re-entered the apartment, and my friends quickly made their way into the room proper as I turned towards the console and began sending out invites to the staff.

"Fuck dude, I don't think I'll ever be able to get used to magic." Callum shouted from around the corner, and I heard his feet slapping the floor as he ran off into the distance.

Almost immediately the diaper fox appeared in the doorway, flashing me a bright smile while wagging his tail. The wolf appeared shortly afterwards, followed by the cow, gorilla and the other maintenance staff I'd met.

The air smelled strongly of baby lotion from all of the maintenance staff who had came in their diapers throughout the past few hours, but it quickly dissipated as they funneled their way out of the hallway.

The fox laughed as he scooped me up in his surprisingly strong hands, making me yelp in surprise as he lifted me and placed me on his shoulders, his hands on my legs to keep me balanced.

"You've lost a bit of weight." He said with a chuckle.

"I'm still not as light as you though." I replied as we moved into the main room.

Even I couldn't hide my sharp intake of breath as I surveyed the changes, and I was the one who designed it.

He carried me up to the stage, the most important place in the whole room with the best view. As he looked out the window with delight, the ship seeming to fly over a volcano while Phoenixes danced through the air with smoldering wings, I looked over the rest of the room from his shoulders.

Callum waved at me from up on the balcony, seeming to choose a room upstairs on the south wall nearest the stairs. Lee was surveying the stage, a grin on his face as he ran a hand over the shimmering floor. Jonas walked into the sex area, disappearing behind the one-way glass, and Ryan was standing behind the bar, pouring beer into diapers for the crowd of diaper critters eagerly waiting to give it a try.

"This place is very nice sweetie, you designed it?" A familiar motherly tone came from behind me. The diaper fox turned in place so he was facing the chubby cow mom, and she was smiling proudly up at me.

"Thank you, it took a while to figure out the layout and the controls, but I think it turned out pretty well. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can start having shows for the staff." I said, giving her a grin.

The fox crinkled softly as he helped me down, placing me gently on the floor. "I'm going to go get a beer, you sure you're okay with me using your diapers?" He asked me, his voice hesitant.

I chuckled and nodded. "Help yourself to as many as you want, Ryan is pouring it seems, and I think most of the diapers are his to begin with." I said, giving his arm a pat before he ran off excitedly.

"You've really settled in from the first time I met you. You were so shy, I had to force you to use your diapers. Now look at you." The cow said sweetly as she waved over to the edge of the stage. We walked over in silence and sat down on the edge, her latex body squeaking and sloshing slightly with each step.

"Thank you again for that. If it weren't for you, there is no way I would be as comfortable with everything as I am now, and it's really helped me and my friends acclimate." I said with honest sincerity.

She placed a hand on my arm and gave it a gentle squeeze. "You made me a promise, and you followed through in record time. You've made friends with those even I only viewed as caretakers. Or at least one of them. I've never seen a maintenance staff so happy."

"He's a great guy. A little odd, but he's as friendly as they come. I think he's still learning that I am actually serious when I say he's one of my friends. I think even when I give him his own bedroom, he still won't believe me." I said with a chuckle, and her own amusement joined mine.

"Not that I blame him. He's known me for three days now. That is a blink for someone who has already lived a hundred years. But I hope someday I'll be worth his friendship, and I wish the same for every other dealer in this bizarre casino as well." I said wistfully as I looked over the room, chuckling as the dragon flipped a soaked diaper up into the air with his tail, only to catch it in his mouth and swallow.

I could almost feel his purring through the floor from where I sat.

"That is a big goal you have. What are your plans?" She asked as she began to kick her hooves, making them bounce softly against the stage.

"On my first day I wanted to earn my freedom as soon as possible." I began thoughtfully. "But I'm quickly realizing that It will happen when it happens and I shouldn't rush towards it. Redemption is the end goal, but I'm going to focus on trying to enjoy the journey to get there. Best way is with plenty of friends and having as good a time as possible. Music, drinking, sex. It's already a better life than when I had on earth, and dirty diapers are a small price to pay for that." I said with a smirk as we watched the diaper fox crouch down and sneak into the new sex room, only to come out laughing with a shouting Jonas over his shoulder in a fireman's carry.

Jonas fought him off while yelling before quickly giving up and laughing alongside the fox, who brought him over to the bar and set him down in front of a row of five beer cups. Five soaked diapers were laid out on the counter as well, and the challenge was clear.

Achievement Update: Friendly Beginnings

Who would have thought that saying you wanted to make friends, while watching your friends having fun with your other friends would make you more friends? Friends are weird. You are weird. Humans, can't live with 'em, can't trade them for diapers.

For proving your sincerity in your desire to become friends with the casino staff, by showing how much enjoyment a member of the maintenance staff, previously viewed as nothing but a simple janitor to the rest of casino staff, has with you and your friends, another member of the staff now views you as a friend.

_ _ "Oh wow, okay. I'll try my best to be worth your friendship. Thank you." I said sincerely, unable to stop my eyes from watering.

I furiously rubbed my stinging eyes with my fingers as they tried to spill over, eventually succeeding while the cow looked at me with concern.

"Sorry, just, in life I never had friends, I was estranged from my family, and I had no idea why talking to people terrified me so much. Then to come here, and I have four friends I would go to hell for, and now to have four friends among the staff too? It's overwhelming." I said with a slightly shaking voice.

"You are such a sweetheart, I'm sorry that you had to come here to make friends, but I can already see that this place is much better having you in it. I've seen the genuine smiles on my fellow dealers faces after you leave their instances. Whether that is because you are so kind or because they received a nice letter, I am unsure, but they seem happier." She soothed, making me chuckle slightly in embarrassment.

I saw Callum start making his way over in our direction, but the wolf banker caught his arm and gave him a slightly subtle shake of the head. It only made me laugh. The wolf must have excellent hearing because he gave me a wink before steering Callum back to the bar.

"I am so lucky." I sighed with a grin as I wiped my eyes once more.

The cow chuckled in agreement and wrapped an arm around me in a squeeze. "So are we. Now, how about we join the party? I've always wanted to see how much milk the maintenance staff could drink."

I let out a laugh and hopped off the stage, holding out a hand to help the cow down as well. I watched her walk off, her backside swaying towards me invitingly. Still I held back, leaning against the stage for a few more moments to collect myself after our conversation.

"I apologize for the delay, I had to meet with my Lord Tundra." Came a purring voice from beside me.

"Sorry for interrupting you with the invite thing. You shouldn't apologize to me though, others might think of it as a sign of weakness. Or some other stupid human preconception." I replied to Terinas who responded with an amused chuckle.

"I will keep that in mind puny human."

"You doing okay though? Must have been important if you had to involve Tundra." I asked, leaning my back against the stage as I watched the cow try to grab the attention of the diaper fox, who was blatantly losing the drinking competition between them.

"I deemed it important enough to bring it to his attention. In fact, he found it amusing, and admittedly surprising." Terinas chuckled as he waved a hand and conjured a beer in a puff of powder.

Jonas was staring at his now empty hand with confusion as the fox started to catch up, the last bit of diaper disappearing into his mouth.

"I'm glad to hear it." I said with a snort.

He let out a barely hidden belch after taking a large pull of Jonas's beer. "Yes, I have gotten permission to change the entrance fee upgrades you can purchase from the shop. Now you can set the entrance fee cost, and you can change the price depending on if they are dealer or human. You can also choose what will be included with that entrance fee, such as drinks, food or diapers. Or you can set the prices should you wish to give a discount, or charge a markup." He explained before taking a drink from the cup, his brows relaxing slightly.

Jonas seemed to notice Terinas standing next to me, and he noticed the drink. He barked out a laugh and flipped the one-finger salute before reaching over to replace his cup.

Terinas chuckled in amusement.

"I'm sorry to ask you to go through that effort, I hoped it would be a simple option." I apologized, only to have him shake his head.

"You asked to change one of the laws of this realm, to have a situation where my staff do not need to pay for services rendered. That is not a small ask, though I certainly do not expect a mortal to understand the greater workings of the universe. Tundra accepted only because I told him that you were going to follow through with his ritual should I say no, in hopes of getting him to grant it. He called you an idiot by the way. Funny, but an idiot."

"Little hurtful, but fair." I chuckled, reaching up to scratch the back of my head.

"But, no matter how much you change the prices, you will receive bonus diapers as if you sold your services at the normal price. Lord Tundra said that your intentions earned that much. Keep in mind, he is now looking forward to playing with you even more now. Don't make him wait too long. I'd suggest a hundred years at most before you call on him." Terinas warned before taking another drink from his beer and letting out a sigh.

I didn't hesitate in my response. "Thank you for doing that for me Terinas. I know your staff wouldn't care about needing to pay for drinks and stuff, but it really means a lot to me to just let them focus on having a good time. If you need anything from me that I can help with, just ask." I said, sincere in my thanks.

Terinas opened his mouth to reply, but then paused. He thought for a moment before voicing "You think I did it for you? Hah you puny humans are hilarious. Though you are an idiot, making that open ended offer. I thought you would know better by now." He said with a laugh, not entirely believable in his insults. He caught my grin.

"Easy, because I trust you. And I'm grateful. If its within my meager and pathetic power as an insignificant mortal, I'll try my best to help." I replied with just a little bit of cheekiness.

Terinas stood silent for a moment before shaking his head and letting out a haughty laugh. "Why should my staff pay you twice? You get to enjoy their company and clean up after them, the honor is enough for you mortal!"

He paused briefly and gave me a curious look before sipping his beer. "I am beginning to have my doubts though." He spoke softly.

I assumed that last part wasn't meant for me, though it did leave me curious about what he meant by that.

"Of course, my apologies my lord, please forgive this one for his mistaken assumptions." I asked, my voice as humble as I could make it, while dropping down to my knees and placing my head on the floor in submission. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a few of the people in the crowd turn to stare in confusion.

Lee, Callum and Ryan either snickered or rolled their eyes, Jonas was too busy filling a diaper with beer for a large and imposing dragon whose snout was a few inches from his face.

"You are fortunate I am so merciful!" He exclaimed imperiously, before lowering his voice once more and smirking at me. "Thanks for the beer and well done on the room, though it could use more sparkles and horny unicorns. I look forward to your first party." He said with a chuckle as I lifted my head and gave him a wink.

He disappeared in a puff of baby powder and within a moment, a thick yellow diaper appeared above the bar counter and landed softly on its surface.

"Take a beer or two for the road next time. Maybe bring a thermos or something?" I commented towards the sky with a chuckle before finally walking forward to join my friends.

With a fresh, and only slightly wet diaper, and a belly full of milk I returned downstairs once again. I adjusted the messenger bag hanging off my hip as I scanned the crowds I walked past for threats. Other than a few awkward glances I made it down to the next slot machine on my delivery route without interruption.

The world shimmered around me as the colors of the casino went dark, reforming around me as some sort of dimly lit cave system. I peered around the slot machine into the darkness, with the lights from the slot machine being the only glow in the place.

"Hello?" I called out, standing up from the seat. The sound of my diaper crinkling and my rubber outfit squeaking seemed to echo through the cave. I couldn't help but shudder as all sorts of possible phobias began to creep their way into my mind.

From deep in the cave, a pair of reflective, electric blue eyes shimmered from the light of the machine, and as I stepped towards them, the strong scent of latex permeated my sinuses, making me sneeze.

Once I calmed down, I spoke out. "Sorry about that, I don't know if Terinas has talked to you, but I am here to see if you have any letters that you would like to write and have delivered to your fellow dealers?" I asked cautiously, seeing the eyes widen slightly before blinking.

"Oh? Yes, Lord Terinas did say that there was a human who was doing letter deliveries. Do not come closer, I do not wish for you to hurt yourself." The soft male voice said calmly, though I did hear them also mutter "Or run off screaming like the others."

I even heard a slightly tired sigh.

I furrowed my brows and nodded slightly, before turning to my messenger bag and pulling out my notebook.

Honestly, I've never been a fan of dark places, and this eerily silent cavern just seemed to scream horror movie to me. Paired with the strong scent of latex, the squeaking of rubber, and the skittering sound of multiple legs moving across a stone floor was just a horrifying mix.

Wait, skittering?

I looked up from the notebook in my gloved hand, just in time to see a massive form creep slowly out of the darkness into the dim light around the slot machine.

I may have peed a little.

It was a massive black spider the size of a School bus, where instead of a segmented carapace, it was made of reflective black rubber, with white markings along it's back. It's eight legs were thick and powerful, carrying the dense body above them, and the tips of leach leg had such dense rubber that they clicked on the stone with each step.

At the base of the spider's lower body was a pointed stinger like thing that dripped thick black goo onto the floor as it slowly moved towards me. I don't know what it is called on a spider, I failed biology in high-school, but the part of the spider where webs come out of? Anyways, it was pointed enough that it looked like it could either spew webs, or stab into a victim to lay eggs.

I began to tremble as I looked it over. I just couldn't help it.

In the dark, it had only shown me two reflective eyes, though I imagine it was to set me more at ease as its monstrous head neared the light enough for me to see. It opened the remaining six eyes that it had closed to keep me at ease, and they looked me over with an intelligent gaze

The eyes were electric blue, which stood out against the smooth and reflective black of its body. When I calmed myself down and took a closer look, its body was hairless, and seemed to be made of smooth and seamless rubber instead of chitin. Like everything else in this casino.

I cleared my throat nervously before I held out the notepad to the massive rubber arachnid. "I apologize for my rudeness. If you would take this notepad, you can write however many letters you want, and to however many dealers you want. I will do everything in my power to ensure they get to where they are going. I will also wait with each dealer to see if they would like to send you a reply. Do you have any questions or concerns about the process?"

My voice may have stammered mid speech as two of the massive legs that were thicker than my torso reached forward and plucked my notebook and pen from my hands. They seemed to be able to morph slightly, as it looked like the hardened tips of the legs had become thin tendrils like that one potty monster creature.

"Thank you for not running off, I wouldn't have blamed you for it. I can tell that even you're scared shitless." The spider spoke, his voice surprisingly soft and airy, as if he was naturally trying to sound seductive, though there was a bit of a chuckle as if it was trying to lighten the mood with a joke.

To try to lighten the mood too, I reached behind myself and gave my seat a squeeze, then flashed it a slightly shaky grin as I replied "Not quite yet."

It let out an airy chuckle with its massive mandibles moving apart as if it was trying to smile.

"I do apologize, it is very rude of me." I apologized. "While alive, I had a major fear of dark places and arachnids. Not necessarily together. At this point, me holding onto those fears is just making me an asshole, and you don't deserve that."

I bowed my head towards him apologetically, closed my eyes tight for a moment as I took in a slow breath, then let it out. Then a resounding crack echoed through the cavern as I slapped myself in the face as hard as I could, causing my ears to ring.

When I stood up straight once more, I grinned at the spider as if greeting a friend, and I was admittedly amused by the shock on his face.

"Sorry about that, though if you want to give me a slap too, I wouldn't hold it against you." I said with a chuckle.

This seemed to bring the arachnid from his surprise as he began to laugh himself. He curled up his massive legs under himself and rested on them, bringing him down a good six feet closer to me.

"I do not wish to smack you. You already have been kinder than any other human to visit me. I however do only have one question at the moment about your operations." He said with amusement in his voice.

"An what would that be?" I asked curiously, sitting down on the cavern floor myself as well. I admit I was happy for the subject change.

"I just want to know if you read our letters before you deliver them?" He asked.

I shook my head immediately. "I do not. I will not open a letter if it has been given to me. At least not intentionally, but I will not look at the contents. When I can, I want to get a bunch of envelopes from the store for letters, to help reduce the risk. I also ask that if you dealers have your own written language that us humans will be unable to translate, that you use that instead of English if possible. In the event that I am mugged or robbed, your interests should still be safeguarded." I explained cheerfully.

The spider nodded and gave me a still-nervous smile. "That sounds good to me, I will follow your advice. How many letters may I write?" He asked.

"As many as you like. Just keep in mind that the more you write, the longer it will take for me to bring you all of the replies. And if you plan to write for a few hours, would you mind if I tried to take a nap in the mean time? As far as I know, you can't write letters while I am outside of your instance though I haven't tested that theory yet. Perhaps I'll need an achievement for it."

He nodded and pulled out a page from the notebook with rather dexterous tendrils and began to write while using the book as a clipboard. "I will keep it to twenty letters. I assume you will be back in the future?" He asked curiously, the pen scratching onto paper audibly.

"There are over a hundred dealers on the main floor alone, I will try to do at least three full cycles amongst the dealers every year though. To account for days I prepare for competitions and such. And gives me some leeway if I get trapped on stage after the challenge for a long time." I said with a chuckle, receiving a series of surprisingly expressive blinks as reply.

"Just a deal I made with Terinas, to put on a show for the other humans or something. How long I am stuck on stage will depend entirely on my fellow humans. So, it might be a while." I explained briefly.

"I see. I wish you luck with that. I assume you are entering the competition then?" He asked, and I gave him a grin and a nod.

"Good luck there as well then!" He said cheerfully, as his pen danced quickly across the paper.

The silence dragged on, only interrupted by the sound of pen on paper, when I finally asked. "So, what do you like us humans to do to earn free spins from you?" I asked just as he began to fold up the first letter.

He paused in his folding briefly before replying. "Are you sure you want to know?"

I nodded. "Whatever you get the most enjoyment out of. I've done some crazy stuff, and it's always good to know what makes you hardworking dealers happy." I said with a sincere smile.

He studied my face before responding with a sigh. "I'm sure you've guessed, that I like using my webs to bind and entrap people. I prefer to bind them completely before pumping them full of eggs. Ideally, they would suffocate to death before the eggs hatch." He explained as he wrote.

"I see." I said slowly, unable to suppress the shudder that went down my spine.

"Yeah." Came the reply.

"Is there a reason you want people to suffocate before you pump them full of eggs?" I asked nervously, and the spider paused in its writing before turning its eyes towards me.

he thought about his response for a moment before replying casually. "Because, if they suffocate, the eggs will hatch in a way that will turn the person into a liquid rubber version of themselves from the inside. That's the only way I can enjoy a meal, and all that will be left is the clothing. If they're alive, It would just be like I'm fucking them and giving them a very filling enema. If the eggs hatch in them when they're alive, they turn into a solid rubber version of themselves, which I can't eat, and they mindlessly beg me constantly to fill them with eggs, and bind them in webs, and change their diapers."

He let out a sigh before continuing. "If they don't suffocate, it tends to be a few months before they become used enough to the effects for them to coherently understand that I want to wean them off of my eggs and that I want them to spend their free spins. It can be fun for the first week for me, but a few months of constant neediness gets tedious."

I thought over his explanation for a few moments before replying "So, can you make it so your eggs don't turn me into a mindless egg slut when they hatch? I would prefer to keep my wits. At least the few I do actually have." I asked curiously, causing him to accidentally scratch a line across half the page in his surprise.

"Say again?" He asked, looking at me in wide eyes.

"Well, earning diapers is a good way to pass the time while you write. From what you said, as long as I can breathe a little bit, and I don't turn into a mindless drone, it would let me leave you in silence as you focus on writing all the letters you want. Becoming a rubber version of myself would wear off right? If the transformation part is something you really enjoy?"

He seemed completely dumbfounded, before he burst into laughter.

"You're serious? You really are interesting human! Sadly the options are one or the other. Either way you will end up losing out on a few days of time, if not a few months. Though you will be earning diapers the entire time you are stuck here, you would have to decide if it's worth the cost to you. Though I should mention that after repeated transformations you can regain your wits faster and faster so to speak. Think of it like a venom resistance. Is this something you would actually want to do?" He asked, the pen moving once more across the paper.

He lifted himself off of the floor once more, his massive body squeaking and feet tapping noisily onto the floor as he got his balance. He moved forward slowly, so his body was directly over me on the floor, and his visibly throbbing spidercock thing was a mere foot from my face.

The scent of rubber was strongest underneath him, and only grew stronger as a thick glob of sticky black rubber goo dripped from its tip like thick syrup, to slowly drip to the floor.

I gulped noisily as I stared hesitantly at a bus sized arachnid's version of a penis. I closed my eyes tightly as I felt a pair of the spider's legs gently brush against my thighs in an almost loving fashion.

"Once. I will do everything at least once." I mentally chanted to myself as if speaking a mantra, trying to force all of my fears to the side, and let my greed take the reins.

"But not today. This is too much right now." I thought to myself before shaking my head apologetically.

"I'm sorry but I'm not ready for that right now. Perhaps in the future, but not yet." I said, my voice breaking slightly as I fought to tear my eyes from the oozing stinger.

I was a little surprised at the response however as I received an airy chuckle. "Do not apologize, you considered it, and that was enough to make me happy. Thank you."

The spider squeaked slightly as he shifted himself, until he was laying flat on the floor of the cave once more, only his forelegs were free as he focused on writing. "Would you like to take a nap on my back? I am far more comfortable than the floor. Or I can make a web hammock for you, I won't make it sticky. Well, stickier than rubber webbing would normally be." he offered with a chuckle.

I learned today that bus-sized spiders have surprisingly comfortable and warm backs that are easy to fall asleep on.

Who would have guessed?
