Finally at last I've gotten this next chapter up. It took much longer than I would have liked; but at least this should hopefully make up for it.

Chapter 10: Information and New Friends

Author's notes: Clearly obviously the stupid fuck troll is just going to keep at it with this bitching, complaining, and moaning, still saying his worthless comments that mean dick without even reading the chapters. That goes for dumbfuck Slugbug who posted: Came for the p***, stayed for the s*** rants!

To you Slugbug; shut up, it's facts I'm spitting out not rants. And again this can't all be about porn. Go somewhere else in a dump for that shit.

It wasn't long before Star Flight, Star Wolf, Falco, and Katt had made it to the station. In just a minute, the mother ship of the first team was docked and Bill, Fay, and their son were also on board too. "Glad to see you guys made it in one piece," the poodle told the others with a grin. Sam was in her arms and very content now as there was no danger.

"We weren't going to be taken out by scum like that," Wolf stated with a grin before getting serious. "Er... how's the kid doing?"

"He's well now," Bill replied with a smile. "See?"

The lupine did and nodded. "So... now what?" Falco then asked, his wings crossed, tapping his foot.

"Hold your beak, here he comes now," Nicholas told the avian with amusement. Looking showed the husky scientist that had contacted the team was coming towards the group.

"Now maybe we can get some answers a bit," Katt said.

The male canine certainly looked very relieved. "Thank god you guys showed up when you did," he said. "We could have been killed or worst, our research stolen."

"Just in a day's work and protecting those from evil," Nicholas replied and they shook paws.

"Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Byron and I'm in charge of all the scientists and research that goes on here."

"Nice to meet you." The rest of the ones that had fought were introduced, even though the husky knew them. It was just common curtesy.

"Well again, thank you, all of you, for helping us out of this tight spot," the husky scantest told them.

"So... what happened?" Wolf then asked. "Why the attack?"

"And why such a large force to do so?" Luna added.

"I can answer all of them, but didn't you want to contact others first?" Byron replied.

"I do, they're others who are gonna want to hear this," Nicolas said.

"Follow me." The husky led the teams down a hallway, all the couples with a special someone holding either paws or in the case of Falco and Katt, she held his wing in her paw.

Byron directed them to a large conference meeting room. The large rounded metal table in the center had a number of chairs that could be moved around it. Besides the large viewing screen on one wall, there was the huge glass panel where one could look out and see this part of the Lylat system the station was at. It was beautiful with all the stars in outer space and it seemed like there hadn't been a battle just minutes ago. "Perfect," the part Cerinian said. "This will do nicely." Everyone was then seated with their loved one next to them. The footage that had been shot of the mech, the data gathered from it, and the attack was ready to show as well. "Alright, here's who you need to call..." Nicholas listed off to Byron the names.

The husky punched in the numbers and for some seconds, the group here saw on the screen that the calls were being set out. Then they were answered to show the rest of Star Fox, Peppy, and even the Hot Rodders on three separate screens. They had been alerted by Bill and Fay and were expecting this. "There we go, we're connected," Byron said.

"We got the message, but what the hell's going on here?" Fox asked Nicholas.

The part Cerinian took a deep breath. "Listen very carefully," he began. "This is going to concern more than the Lylat." The long-haired male paused. "The Eternal Halo's become much more dangerous of a threat because of one reason..." Nicholas looked to the ones viewing with dead seriousness on his face before saying this more to Krystal as he knew this would affect her the most. "Krystal, we just fought against a mech they had... And it was using Cerinian technology."

Everyone on the screen had different reactions of shock. Eyebrows went up, some had their jaws dropping, and others let out gasps of disbelief. "Wha... Wait, that can't be!" she exclaimed. "Are you certain, Nicholas?"

"I know, it's hard to believe," he replied. "I thought I was seeing things too. That's why luckily I had Bill and Fay record as much footage and data during the fight."

The poodle brought it up and the rest who hadn't been there watched the video footage, stunned. "Maybe they faked those markings?" Kool suggested.

"No... I'm afraid those are real..." Krystal said slowly. "Yes, they could be faked but I'm looking and seeing they're not..."

"I thought the same thing you did Kool, but believe me, it's the real deal," Nicholas added. "And Krystal knows what Cerinian technology looks like just as much as I do. I'm part Cerinian after all."

"But... I thought they were all gone," Falco pointed out.

"Only the pure ones," the long-haired vulpine told everyone. "Yes... What Andross did, though it's unforgivable, that mad ape certainly made it so Krystal is the last of the full 100 percent Cerinians out there. Hence why she's considered pure." Nicholas and the other part Cerinians knew the destruction of her planet all too well having sensed and learned about it when it happened. "But they were very advanced in technology and space travel was very possible. In fact some of what they had is a sense more advanced than what Lylat has."

"So... they could have started exploring space and settling on other worlds, leaving things behind..." Peppy said, thinking hard and already guessing where this was going.

"Exactly. And why Krystal knew how to fly a ship and how she got to Sauria according what she told me."

"Oh, so that's how you came aboard so easily..." Fox told his vixen and then blushed, remembering how she had looked walking onboard to thank him for rescuing her.

Krystal giggled and looked to her one and only with such love since they were sitting next to the other while this call was going on. "Yeah, and you were all shy and blushing..." she teased and wrapped her arms around her boyfriend with love. They both knew that's where it had all begun for them as it was meant to be.

Nicholas cleared his throat. "Uh, not now Krystal, I'm not finished yet," he told her with a bit of amusement but a bit of annoyance at the same time.

"Er... yeah, right... sorry," she mumbled. She did let go of her vulpine but grabbed his left paw.

"So... I guess this group found some tech lying around?" Falco asked. "That shouldn't be nearly enough though..."

"Plus wouldn't there be the chance of something that old not being able to be used?" Katt suggested.

"You're both correct on that," Nicholas said to that couple. "Some of the Cerinian technology most likely is so ancient, it would be nothing more than dead weight or a doorstop. But most of it would still work well the day it was made. You'd be surprised. However, that's not the only way one could get it. Remember what Peppy said."

"Wait..." his wife Fara said, getting it and where her husband was going with this. "You don't think... you mean the part ones?"

"I'm afraid so honey," the long-haired part Cerinian answered. "I think everyone can guess what that means with the Eternal Halo."

"There must be part Cerinians among them," Fox stated with a frown. "And they supplied the Eternal Halo with the technology."

"Yes." Everyone was silent for a bit. "This group is no longer just a problem, they are a real threat. And it's not just going to affect Lylat, it's going to affect the system where my home world Eladard is. Every place that has part Cerinians living there will be affected by this."

"Any idea who they could be?" Luna then asked. Wolf was frowning like Fox and thinking.

Nicholas let out a sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose. "No, I don't," he admitted.

"Um... I might have something," Fay then said. The whole time, the poodle had been busy with something on a personal computer. Even if she was just the mechanic of Star Flight, she had picked up some data skills. Not like the level of say Slippy or Amanda, but what the poodle had would be enough.

"What is it?" her husband asked while holding their son.

"During the fight and gathering data on that mech I found something else. It was a log I found in the thing systems."

"Really? What kind?" Dash asked.

"Some kind of list; I'm going to put it up now."

Fay brought it up and what the group saw was what appeared to be a list of names with each name having a picture to identify who was who. "It looks incomplete, but it might have a clue we're looking for," Fay suggested.

Everyone took a look. "Huh, nobody I know," Falco stated with a shrug.

"I don't know either," Fox said.

"Wait..." Nicholas then said slowly. "Fay, scroll to the second to last name please." The poodle did and up came the image of a male with purple colored eyes and different looking glasses than the part Cerinian vulpine. His hair was brown and the fur color was a dull tan to the point of being light grey. As for what specie this male was, he looked to be some kind of feline.

"Do you know this person?" his wife Fara asked.

"I do... and this isn't good," her husband replied. "That is Kit Deegeo. And he's a part Cerinian who's a small time criminal."

"Wait hold up... why is someone that minimal with a group like the Eternal Halo?" Luna asked, confused. "He's only a minor criminal; so why?"

Nicholas looked back to the list, thinking over what had been said with fighting this group so far. "Maybe it's deeper than that," he slowly replied. "Do any of you remember what those we've fought against in that organization had said about us guys and our ladies?"

"Yeah, and I don't like it," Wolf growled. "Especially the shit they said about my Luna."

"I didn't either," Fox added and everyone agreed.

"Well I wonder, what if there's something more than just say trying to cause trouble or take over?" Nicholas suggested. "What if they want to destroy the love each of us have with the one we're meant to be with?"

More silence followed. "Like jealousy?" Panther said with a snort. "Some kind of petty crush?"

"No, this feels different. It's almost like they don't want us to be with who we truly love. Tell me, are all of you aware of things like say, somehow Krystal being with the wrong male, female or thing? Or say for some fucked up reason the guys being female instead of male?"

"Yeah," Fox growled with anger. Wolf did as well as the lupine knew this all too well.

"Yeah, and neither the stories or animations; hell all of it are nice," Miyu added. "And that's putting it very mildly."

"Exactly. And now seeing this I think that's one of the goals of the Eternal Halo. To destroy what we have by showing otherwise with things that aren't true."

"Is that so?" Dash said. "Well I'm gonna fight against them. I may not be like most of you with a girl, but even I find what we've seen to be disgusting and horrible."

"Well apparently, they want to take our loved ones," Nicholas said with a frown and glare. "And I'm not going to sit back and let that group get away with anything. And especially not when my wife Fara's on their list. They made it clear with what they said about her during the past times fought. And that also goes for the rest of you who are my friends and teammates."

"Same here," Falco spoke up. "I ain't letting them get away with shit. Not when I can do something about it when it involves you guys, my girl Katt, and me."

His pink feline girl looked to her avian with love in her eyes. "Aw, Falcy," she cooed.

"Katt!" Nicholas barked, causing the feline to jump. "Not now; this is serious!"

The female blushed a little but got a reassuring wing on her shoulder from her guy. "Later," Falco whispered.

"So we're all agreed then, we take out the enemy eh?" Leon said.

"Yep." Nicholas then turned to the husky scientist Byron to ask the next question. "So, mind telling us why the Eternal Halo attacked this place?"

"Seems excessive to attack in such a large force," Bill said.

"They were probably after what Beltino Toad had developed," the husky answered. "The same stuff you guys helped get to Corneria."

Everyone knew what the canine meant. Even the ones who hadn't with that job had heard due to the others warning them about the first encounter with the Eternal Halo. "Hold on, what my dad made?" Slippy asked.

"Yes. You guys know how ships can travel in space and where we stand with that technology, right?" Everyone nodded, even those that weren't as tech savvy or as smart. "Well Beltino seems to have made a breakthrough with others on how to not only improve that technology, but to jump into faster travel in space and warp much faster."

"That is true, the wrapping does go a bit slow and it's not useful in a battle," Peppy said.

"Exactly," Byron agreed. "But with what he's developed, I think the Lylat will soon have a new and much improved way of space travel."

"Now I'm getting it," Fox stated. "I bet the enemy wants that because with it, they could launch a much faster invasion and God knows do what else with it."

"And given how they have Cerinian technology, it wouldn't surprise me they could combined it with this," Nicholas added.

"Is that possible?" Luna asked.

"Some things I know for a fact are impossible to combined with Cerinian stuff. This ain't one of them."

"But wait... how did the enemy learn of it in the first place?" Fay then asked. "It's topic secret right? Is there somebody here who's secretly working for them?"

Dead silence followed before Byron spoke up. "I thought of that already and during this I ran a scan." The husky pinched the bridge of his nose. "We've been hacked..."

"Not good," Slippy gulped.

"Wait hold on; your security should be top notched," Peppy pointed out.

"It is," Byron insisted in a tone to show he was serious. "But apparently, it's not enough. Which can only mean the enemy has hackers of the highest class in their ranks."

"Damn it," the male toad muttered, his right hand covering his eyes in frustration. "You know what this means, right Nicholas?"

"Yeah," the part Cerinian said. "You're going to have to really up your game Slippy. That goes for all those here who can hack systems. And who knows what else they've managed to find out."

"And we'll triple down on stuff here," Byron added.

"So what now?" Katt asked.

"I'll get everyone in Lylat alerted to this," Peppy replied. "We'll need to prepare."

"And I think the rest of you need to head with me," Nicholas added.

"Where to?" Fox asked.

"To the system where my home planet is; we're going to Eladard to warn everyone there."

"Oh really?" Krystal said. "That does make sense as your system, like the Lylat, needs to be and prepare."

"Exactly," Nicholas stated. "Plus we're going to need all the help we can get."

"If that's the case, I think I need to get something out I haven't used in a long time."

"Your staff?" Fox guessed.

"Yes love." All the stuff she had worn when she and the vulpine had met had been safely locked away. "If we are fighting against Cerinian weapons, what better way than to do so and show what a pure Cerinian can do in battle?"

"And I think it's time I got my weapon back out," Nicholas added.

"You mean...?" his wife Fara began and her husband nodded.

"Hold up, what are you talking about?" Kool asked. He had never seen these before like some of the others.

"Well most of you know Krystal and me aren't from the Lylat, right?" Nicholas said and everyone nodded. "And you know how she's from Cerinia, correct?" Nodding happened again. "Well what she and I are talking about are weapons, one for each of us. These are given as is Cerinian tradition. Every pure Cerinian or part one is granted a weapon. These can range from all kinds of melee ones, to even a few ranged ones." The vulpine with yellow hair looked to Krystal. "You got a pic of your staff?"

"Yeah, I brought some after being alerted of this meeting," the blue vixen answered and took a moment to bring them up so all could see her staff in the fully extended mode and compacted mode. Everyone who had or hadn't seen saw all the details from the markings to the golden colored ends and gems too.

"Whoa... that actually looks kinda cool," Fay said. "But I see the markings on it. It's just like what that mech had."

"Do they mean anything?" Luna asked.

"Other than identifying the weapon from where it comes from, no," Krystal answered. And then she and Nicholas went on to explain how Cerinian weapons worked in general. The materials that made each one weren't just metal and wood, but the kind to resist laser swords and blasters. That made them nearly indestructible as the only way to destroy them was by melting them down with say lava or caught up in an explosion like a ship blowing up. It was also stated that no two weapons were exactly alike because everybody was different in their own way. Sure, there were some weapons that looked similar at times or were in the same class in terms of type. But even then each one still had differences to stand apart from all the others.

In order for a person to use such a weapon, it had to first accept the being itself. So nobody under normal circumstances could just pick up Krystal's staff and just wield it as an example. Now why Fox was able to right away at such a masterful level could be explained by two theories. One, the staff had the power to bond with the user. And that made sense as Nicholas confirmed it was true for all Cerinian weapons as even his had bonded with him upon receiving it as a young child. But unlike Fox, he and everyone else had to train with the weapon to master it. Which then brought up the second theory as to why the vulpine had been able to wield it so well. Because the staff had sensed that Fox was the best chance of it return to the rightful paws of Krystal as the vixen had been in danger. This would also explain the psychic massages to him to hear when the staff had been separated from the original owner.

Besides these things mentioned and combat, the other abilities of each weapon were the same. This meant that besides the materials made, the properties were also identical. That meant no weapon was more superior over another. True, every weapon had their own strengths, advantages, weaknesses, and disadvantages when pairing against another weapon. But in the end what it really boiled down to in a fight was who the wielder was. Which meant when it came to Krystal's staff, that didn't mean she was stronger or better than Nicholas when it came to his own Cerinain Weapon. Another thing each weapon could do was be shrunk into a more compact, portable size. For staff like weapons and polearms, Krystal's weapon in its smaller form was a good example. But when it came to every other weapon, these took the shirking into a smaller form to a different level. Nicholas explained that his weapon and all others that weren't staves or polearms could shrink down to trinkets or jewelry that could be worn on the body of the wielder. The advantage of that was the weapon could be hidden out in public and nobody would know. The disadvantage was that the wielder had to call out the name of the weapon to bring it froth from this smaller compacted form, or as it was more popular called, its sealed form. Nicholas explained that these weapons all had a name and was either chosen by the wielder when given the weapon, or was told what it was if the weapon was passed down.

The final part of the explanation was talking about the offensive and defensive capabilities that each Cerinian weapon could use. The first was the Fire Blaster, which allowed the weapon to shoot out small energy blasts that were colored red. This was a good ranged attack and packed quite a bit of a punch when it made contact with an enemy. The second ability was the Ice Blaster, which allowed the weapon to spew a trail of ice. This ice could freeze targets and put out fire. But it was limited in range than the Fire Blaster so enemies had to get in close for the ability to even hit. However, those who had practiced hard had learned how to fire the blast at certain sections of the body, rather than the entire target which led to more interesting, and sometimes more devastation results. The Ground Quake was third and this was an attack to deal with multiple enemies at once. The user of the Cerinian weapon would jump up and slam their weapon onto the ground which caused an earth-shattering pulse to spread out in a circle around the user. This circle would extend out some feet before dissipating and the color was blue. For small foes, this was usually powerful enough to wipe them out. Medium-sized opponents usually were stunned and exposed openings to exploit. That is unless they were already unbalanced and could be knocked back flat.

Unlike the other first two abilities shown and talked about, this third one could be upgraded to a more powerful version called the Super Ground Quake. The color for the circle was more orange in color and handy for dealing with larger enemies in addition to the first two types when it came to the size. But there were things that one using this ability had to keep in mind. While this ability was probably the most powerful in terms of offense, there were some drawbacks; more so than the first two abilities. First, the Ground Quake in the basic form could be interrupted during the windup if the user was hit. On the other hand, the upgraded version couldn't be interrupted if the user got hit, but it took a bit longer to unleash due to how much power was needed. But in most cases, one had to master the Ground Quake first before learning the upgraded version. The reason Fox hadn't gone through that kind of training unlike say Krystal or Nicholas was most likely due to circumstances of his mission when wielding the vixen staff.

The final ability that was handy in combat was the ability to produce a temporary force field. It looked like a cocoon made of transparent energy that was shot out of the top of the Cerinian weapon and surrounded the user, protecting them from most attacks. It was so strong that it could repel the crushing feet of one of the main enemies Fox had faced against. But while using the shield, the user could only kneel or crouch, not able to move an inch or the field would stop. One interesting fact was that the color of the shield could be different colors depending on the user. In the case of Krystal's staff, it was blue while with Nicholas's weapon, it was green. Now there had been some other abilities Fox had used with the staff on the Sauria mission. But these were so obsolete due to the circumstances they could be used in. While Krystal's weapon could create a SharpClaw disguise for the user, that would only work where that being was stationed at in abundance. The Rocket Booster could propel a user into the air but this ability could only be used by inserting the end of a Cerinian weapon into a Rocket Booster pad which were permanently fixed in certain spots. The final ability was opening magical doors by taking one end of a Cerinian weapon and inserting it into a hole on the door. These could be made of metal, but Nicholas stated they could be made of stone, wood, or a combination of all three type of materials too. Besides the hole for the weapon, the other dead giveaway were the black lines that formed a pattern to make the doors look mythical like. The part Cerinian at this meeting did predict though that anywhere where there were say ruins left from pure Cerinians would most likely have these doors and places to use the Rocket Booster.

Nicholas then went on to explain that these abilities couldn't be spammed because they all required energy of the mythical kind to use. Like with physical strength of the individual, there was a limit to how much of this energy one had at their disposal to use the abilities of their Cerinian weapon. While it was true Fox had been able to obtain upgrades on his mission, in the case of Krystal and the part Cerinian vulpine, both of them, like the rest, had to train and increase an aspect of their being to increase the amount of energy needed. Age played a role, but training was needed too. Due to the mythical like natural of being pure or part Cerinian, anyone born as one of those type of beings had the ability to tap into this energy. But anyone who wasn't could, and that was assuming they were trained or they bonded with a Cerinian weapon like Fox had. How much of this energy one had at their disposal could be sensed and each ability drained a certain amount depending on what was being used. But there was a way to replenish it. In most cases rest, eating, and sleeping were the key. Someone could be fully restored in a matter of a couple of hours, to needing a night's sleep, or a bit longer depending on how much energy needed to be replenished. There were other ways around this like elixirs made to be drank to restore the energy. The only other way was more on the circumstances like the location or planet. And that was by finding magic plants that grew energy gems. These things were about the height of Fox, and looked like palm trees with the gems growing out of the top in the center of the few large leaves. It took one hit to knock the energy restoring item loose and the plants grew back in a matter of seconds. There were four different colored gems, each one allowing a different amount of the mythical energy to be recovered. Green was the most common but restored the least amount. Red and yellow were in the middle and blue was the least abundant but the best of the four for energy recovery. The way a user got the energy from these gems was by touching them and the object would disintegrate, with the energy being absorbed into the body. But these plants and gems could only be found in locations or plantes where the magic content was extremely high. Given how the planet where Fox had rescued Krystal had that kind of energy, with it being forced from the core, it explained why these gems were found there with the plants drawing on the energy from the soil. These things would then crystalize the energy into what was needed to restore what was needed for the abilities of a Cerinian weapon.

Nicholas then went on to explain a theory he had as to why Krystal staff which wasn't from Sauria could work as it had on a totally different planet. The vulpine with long hair theorized that the magical properties of the second planet was very similar to Cerinia. And it made sense as the part one not only had been to Krystal's planet before its destruction and seen plants almost like what was found on Sauria, the male knew a few other locations and planets that also had the same kind of magic that was identical and being forced from the core where magic plants grew. These were exactly like what was being described and shown on the screen. Others had come up with this theory too and while not 100 percent fact, was very close. "It's exactly the same on my home world of Eladard," Nicholas concluded. "And I bet it's the same for anywhere Cerinians left structures behind."

"Does that sound right to you Krystal?" Fox asked his beloved.

"Yes; I've been to Eladard a number of times in my youth and I'm certain Nicholas is onto something," she answered. "I remember seeing magic plants grow on his home world just like mine and Sauria."

"And I've been to Cerinia many times too," Nicholas added. "So I remember what it was like and how it matches up to the places mentioned."

Falco stretched in his seat, clearly having heard enough and was itching to leave this meeting. "So what about your weapon?" Emily asked the part Cerinian. "You mentioned having one."

"Normally I would say that's asking me something personally; a second date kind of question." Nicholas had a smirk on his face. "But for those here who haven't seen it, I have no problem showing at all."

He then brought up footage to show everyone who wasn't a part of Star Flight his weapon. The mother ship of this team with the training room had cameras as part of the security and surveillance just like with most of the other areas of the vehicle. What everyone saw was the part Cerinian in his workout attire of a shirt without sleeves and pants that were conferrable and yet allowed a lot of flexibility like sweat pants. The footage then show Nicholas taking a fighting stance with his right paw out in front and the left in close to his body. Both paws were open, exposing the palms. It was here the ones watching noticed that besides the usual necklace the part Cerinian wore there was something else attached to it. It stood out being in a cross like shape and it had the same kind of markings seen on Cernian stuff like Krystal's staff. Then the footage showed training holograms of enemies appearing and surrounding Nicholas. But there was no hesitation in his eyes or stance, not even showing fear. The only thing the part Cerinian did was quickly register how many opponents were against him with some quick eyes glances. Then from his mouth came a word, and even with this recording, all that were watching could tell by the tone and way Nicholas said that word was that it carried power. It was the name of his Cerinian weapon. The cross on his necklace disappeared, materializing as the weapon came forth with its true form. What Nicholas's Cerinian weapon wa were a pair gauntlets, one for each of the vulpine's paws. These were grey in color and the gauntlets covered up to about the middle of the forearms. On the back or dorsal side of the weapon in the middle was an emerald, one for each gauntlet. Connecting both was a flexible tube made of the same materials as the weapon that went behind Nicholas's back. The markings of a Cerinian weapon was on this tube and even the gauntlets that ended at the palms and where the knuckles were.

The recording then showed the vulpine leap into action, showing why these gauntlets were a weapon in their own right. Nicholas was fighting in close quarters, punching, striking, and kicking at the hologram like enemies. The latter were solid enough to act like real opponents but disappeared when the part Cerinian did enough damage or struck a point that would knock out an enemy, incapacitate them, or in some cases, deal enough damage to kill. Nicholas used every part of his body that was capable of being a weapon besides his protected fists which the Cerinian gauntlet weapons were doing very well of shielding. His knees, elbows, and feet were chained in with the punches and strikes from the paws. Nicholas even used his Cerinian weapon to catch and block blows from the holograms when put on the defense. The footage then showed the part Cerinian using the Fire Blaster by snapping his fingers, the Ice Blaster by bringing his paws together, producing the shield to protect from blows by crossing his arms, and the Super Ground Quake by jumping up and slamming either his left or right fist into the ground. But the gauntlets were then show to contain one more secret, and something that added to how Nicholas could fight. The footage showed the vulpine at one point flex his fingers which caused razor sharp claws on each digit to emerge. This allowed the part Cerinian to stab and slice at his enemies which made his attacks even more lethal.

The footage then came to an end as Nicholas had shown everything he could. "So? What do you think?" the part Cerinian asked.

"My god; that was quiet something to see," Wolf said. Even Leon looked impressed. Fara on the other hand looked to her darling vulpine husband with love burning in her eyes. She even reached out to touch his right arm with a paw since the married couple were sitting next to the other.

"So that's what you meant by the other abilities; it's a lot different seeing them in action," Emily commented.

"You sure kicked ass in that!" Mouser said with his usual rodent grin.

"Thanks, but it never was always like that for me," Nicholas replied. "I used to be quiet bad at fighting."

"Bad you say?" Kool said. "That doesn't seem likely."

The part Cerinian let out a small sigh. "You wouldn't be saying that if you had seen me as a young kid. Truth is I was actually kinda bad; a completely helpless case at times. It was like no matter how hard I worked at points, I would end up getting beat pretty badly."

"That's how you got that scar on the chin then?" Fox asked. For Nicholas, the part Cerinian had a thin, one inch scar on the right side of his chin and was one of his defining features. That thing did give his face a bit of character after all.

"No that was from later in life. I got that scar from a nasty fight against a crime boss my team had been tasked to take down. I was able to deliver the killing blow but he got me on the chin before that. I honestly thought I was going to die during that but I still came out on top."

"I do remember that actually," Katt commented. "I was with Star Flight during that." Falco looked to his feline love with a bit of surprise in his eyes. She hadn't mentioned this before. But the female looked to her avian boyfriend with a smirk that told him she would tell him the story later.

"Well you must have gotten better," Peppy said to Nicholas. "How did you do it?"

"It took a lot more extra hard work, help from those that were patient as teachers who didn't give up on me, and above all on my determination and spirit for not giving up," Nicholas answered. "At times I often wondered if there had been a mistake in been given a Cerinian weapon. But every time I felt like quitting and leaving it all, I had to stop and think. I thought what I would be giving up if I did, as well as letting all I had put into learning and improving so far be for nothing and put to waste. Then there was also letting down not just myself, but all those who had my back and truly believed in me. It was these things that kept me going, as well as to prove to those that always tried to put me down and didn't believe I could do it wrong."

Fara nodded in agreement. "It sounds a lot like what some of us had to go through to get better as pilots," the vixen said to her husband.

"And I say let's use what we've got to take these assholes down," Falco concluded. "Even if it takes us fighting through armies."

Everyone at this meeting nodded in agreement. "So... where do we start on Eladard?" Fox asked. "Who do we even talk to warn and alert of this?'

"Besides those in charge, I think I know who we should contact," Nicholas answered. "There's some old friends of mine who will be of great help if they work with us directly. And they're the kind of people who support me and my wife being together along with the others in relationships right now."

"Sounds good; me and Luna could use more of that," Wolf stated. With that in mind, plans were formed on meeting up, getting to Eladard for all the teams, and for work to begin for truly fighting against the Eternal Halo. Things had finally begun to move.

Author's notes: Okay so those following and truly having my back, again I apologize how long this took to get out. But the Moonlace story and Helluva boss one took up all my time and energy. And for those who hate what I do and trying to stop me; give up, it's not happening.

Now as for why Cerinian and Krystal's weapon was brought up, and things related to that? One could argue I could do it in a story more related to her. However I feel given for what I have in mind and how things have turned out in this story, this is the perfect way to delve into things from Star Fox Nintendo has never covered and to the best of my knowledge probably will never do. While we do know things from Star Fox Adventures, there's just as much we don't know when it comes to Cerinia. So while I could be wrong with what I came up with so far, after doing a lot of hard thinking, this is something that not only works, but would make sense. A number of things mentioned here I had come up with all the way back in 2013-2014. And the fact this then creates new lore to explore really excites me and for expanding the universe that is Star Fox. Which means new locations and weapons to see. I hope people do like that and where this can lead. But what I don't want are those who fight and hate what I do and argue/get in a debate with me over this. Especially from those who don't do art or write; only follow and can't do anything for themselves.

Ugh took so long to get up.
