Right, this is my first story to be published to this site, and as a result I'd love to hear your opinions. Sorry about all the car stuff, I'm going through that phase of my teenage life where cars are all I think about. Oh yeah, girls, too. Thinking about maybe a sex scene later on in the story, we'll see where it goes from here. If you want something put into the story in particular, post it in a comment and I'll pay heed to what you say if I find it to be a good idea.

His heart was pounding, blood hurting as it thundered through his veins, eyes pinned open. _'I can't do it,' _Bill thought, his mind racing, a v8 engine without a throttle as he saw the clock tick closer and closer to the end of the period. _'All she did was dance with me,' _He sat there, pondering everything he'd done the weekend before. _'Yeah, but it was grinding, and she pulled you up to her, she must be slightly attracted,' _The bell rang, and Bill's heart stopped instantly, his arms feeling heavy and his hands shaking. He stood up, grabbing his books, and striding from the room, trying to look more confident than he felt. His eyes scanned the Annex hall, students jostling around every which way, most on their way to the block one lunch. Bill, however, was on a mission. He knew that he'd run into her in the main foyer, which meant that if she didn't have a class in the basement he would indeed have a chance to stop her and ask her on a date. His arms swung at his sides, his legs carrying him ever faster down the tiled hall, out through the doors and into the icy Maine air. He had no time to spare, opening the door and practically racing by the auditorium doors into the music room's hallway. He heard people's voices, but hadn't a care for what they were saying. He took a left, feet carrying him into the tunnel that separated the High school from the Junior High school. Bill's eyes were still scanning every inch of the corridor, never stopping in one place for more than an instant. He was walking past dozens and dozens of blue lockers lining the halls, an icy bolt of adrenaline stabbing his body, making all of his joints ache, and his stomach turn. There she was. She was a tan-skinned girl, fairly short as compared to the six foot tall Bill. Her hair was the most silky smooth brown thing in the entire world, her eyes an impossibly clear but deep brown themselves. She was wearing a colorful band shirt, and dozens of those rubber livestrong type bracelets. She was emo, but not in the way that means dark eyeliner and black clothes, but one that loves colors and was more than happy all the time. One of her most appreciated features were her breasts, as they were impossibly large, but surprisingly Bill wasn't concerned about them like most of the other men were. Bill was seriously interested with her personality, and was about to walk right past her. "Hey! Makayla! What's up?" Bill said in an excited tone.

"Bill? Oh hi, not much, you?"

"Nothing much. Hey, would you be interested in hanging out sometime this week?"

"Wait, you mean like a date? Umm,"

"Yeah, I guess it would be a date, yeah. I was thinking we could hang out at the football game on Friday?"

"Sounds great!" She said, a welcome surprise to Bill, who had not expected so much as an answer from one of the most attractive girls in the entire high school.

"Cool, I'll pick you up at like six o'clock and we can get in a little bit early,"

"I'll send you my address later," She said, smiling at him before walking off.

_'I have got to tell Eben about this!' _He thought to himself, almost yelling out with joy. He was also nervous, of course, since he would have to make sure that she would have fun at the game. He had, of course, never so much as kissed a girl before, let alone one as popular as her. Needless to say he would definitely have fun, as he was really new to the whole world of dating. As he walked down the stairs to the cafeteria, he skipped past the entire line, sitting down next to one of his best friends, Eben. "I did it," He said, putting down his books and looking into Eben's eyes.

"No!" He replied, incredulous.

"Yeah, I really did do it,"

"Well don't keep us waiting, what'd she say?"

"She seriously said yes, no joke,"

"Makayla, for real?"

"Yeah!"

"You horny bastard! As if she says yes to you you malformed freak!" He replied, laughing.

"I could not believe it myself, and I even did it!" Bill was even laughing then, his deep guffaw ringing out through the crowded cafeteria. He pulled out his walled, handing Eben four dollars. "Want to go get me some pretzels and a gatorade?"

"Yeah sure," He said, grabbing the money and walking up to the registers. Bill leaned back in his chair, letting out a huge breath from his lungs. For a Wednesday, that was not something that left him feeling energetic and peppy. Adrenaline seems to take a lot more out of you than it gives you, and he'd just really taken a hit off the adrenaline joint. Eben returned, dropping a gatorade and a bag of pretzels in front of Bill.

"Thanks for lunch. I'll pay you back tomorrow,"

"That's what I heard two weeks ago, there, chief," Bill replied, ripping open the small bag.

"Only this time I mean it,"

"Mhmm, I believe you," Bill ate quietly, mulling over the most interesting part of the week so far before the bell rang and the entire cafeteria emptied in minutes flat. By this point, the day flew by and Bill then found himself standing outside his most beloved possession, a 1980 Dodge Power Wagon. It had a 318 V8 engine, stepside longbed, and was a nice sky blue color. It had the original design flaw where they were tilted off to the side a little bit. He was beginning to turn the key to open the door when he heard a voice.

"Bill? Can I get a ride home? I missed the bus," Bill looked back, seeing Makayla walking towards him with her bag.

"Of course, you'll have to give me directions, though," Bill replied, walking around and opening her door for her. She stepped in and he closed it before getting into the driver's seat. He depressed the clutch, turned the gas and shifted into reverse. Turning to the left, he shifted back into first and started off. The engine was _much _louder than most other cars of today were, but then again this wasn't any ordinary vehicle. It was old. It was powerful. It was painfully slow! But it was his, and he loved every single inch of it.

"Left up here," She said, almost yelling over the sound of the engine. He clicked the signal on, pressing into the gas and shifting into second, and third moments after that. Five minutes later, they were in top gear and he almost had the throttle pinned and they were pulling about 55 miles an hour. "So, this is your vehicle?"

"Yep, this is she," He replied, looking at her for a fleeting second before slowing near a stop sign.

"Your parents must hate you," She joked, laughing at their top speed and the amount of gas the thing drank.

"It used to be my Dad's, but now he decided it was just expensive enough to hand down to me,"

"Yep. I was right. First one on the left," She replied. Bill turned into the driveway, slowing to a stop. "I'm really excited for Friday night. Can't wait to see you there," She said, leaning over and kissing his cheek before getting out and walking inside. Bill pulled out, driving a few miles down the road before turning left and getting onto the highway. _'How can she possibly like me? What on earth is happening?' _He didn't stop thinking about it until he pulled up to his house and parked on the drive beside his house. He got out, walking up to his Dad, who was emptying out his Chevy Impala of everything he'd kept in there.

"Hey, kiddo. I'm going to go get that new car today, feel like going?"

"I guess, yeah,"

"God, you really are obsessed with driving. Yes, you may drive us there," Bill's heart jumped, because even though the Impala was ten years old, it was still pretty fast and reliable. Since they'd recently allowed for an Autobahn type road in northern Maine, he would be able to drive as fast as he'd like. And without doubt, he would be driving as fast as he could. Bill sat in the vehicle, turned the key, and it sprang to life, all of the gauges flipping to the maximum before settling back down. It was no sports car, but it was the sportiest packages that was available for the car back in 2000. He pulled out onto the highway, taking an exit onto the Autobahn and immediately pinning the gas pedal. The old car took a second, but immediately roared and sent them tearing forward, the spedometer and tacometer flying towards the right before falling back to a steady acceleration.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, keep it calm," Jason said, tapping Bill's right arm.

"I've got it, I've got it, calm down. How on earth can you go from this v6 to a 4 cylinder? The one we test drove was so slow and weak,"

"Look, I could buy a v6, but it's about five thousand dollars more, and I'm not really looking for a car that can do what this one can," Bill let up on the pedal a little bit, keeping them an ninety eight miles per hour. This road had slow steady curves, and it made every car that drove on it seem like a sports car. After all, nothing is quite as much more fun than pushing a vehicle to speeds like this. Bill saw a car in front of them, so he pushed down on the pedal a little further, overtaking them easily and swerving back into the right lane in front of them. Looking in the left rear mirror, he saw a yellow Camaro SS pulling over the hill and speeding along.

"Just think of being that guy right now, I'm so jealous," He could hear the other vehicle roar as it neared them, the engine working hard as it neared them. The passenger waved forward at them and revved the engine as they pulled up beside them. "He wants to race!" Bill said, immediately nodding and kicking the pedal down. Their car made a coughing sound, the engine sounding like a raging beast as they took off past the Camaro and down the tarmac. It took no time for the other machine to start puling up towards them, but the Impala was still speeding up at an alarming rate for a car of this age. Bill turned the wheel to the left as they approached a turn, power sliding around the curve and straightening out as they got back on a steadier curve. Bill had taken professional driving lessons for years, and as a result was a stunning driver, and he both knew and loved it. People underestimated him because of his age, but he'd been in countless races, both professional and illegal. Many of which he won and by a lot. The Impala was really far outclassed by the Camaro, but the driver was inexperienced and as a result it was behind. Bill kept them in the lead, but slacked off on the pedal quite a bit.

"Maybe they crashed," Bill said, looking behind them for the vehicle. It was nowhere to be found.

"I hope to hell they didn't," Bill said, thinking about the Homecoming dance as they sped along. He remembered how his date left him, and Makayla grabbed his hand and lead him into the midst of the dance floor. She pushed her ass up against him, and the both of them ground and rocked back and forth for almost half an hour, her placing his hands on her hips. He had gotten an erection, and there was no way she didn't feel it, but she didn't seem to care. She smelled of baby powder and flowers, her hair done up perfectly and her dress accenting her personality well.

"Eyes on the road!" Bill's Dad suddenly shouted, pointing to a truck ahead of them.
