#7 of Waiting For Tonight

Alright, first up: if you're here looking for a quick session, This Is Not It. This act focuses a lot more on story for like 35-40 pages before it gets to the session. If you don't want to plow through that, go find something else. You're honestly not missing too much by skipping this one.

...Still here? Okay. The next chapter of Linet's and Ari's life together, and I honestly don't want to spoil anything by talking about it. I'm a little bit indifferent about how it came out, but I don't hate it by any means. Regardless, this one is a lot more on the "Slice Of Life" side of things.

And Act 5 will most likely be the last one for this series.

I might continue Butterfly if people are interested, but I feel like the Linet + Ari story is pretty complete with this. Maybe someday I might write out a little mini-session with Linet, possibly with another mount or creature sometime, but... Okay, to be honest, I'm just soooo Done with Guild Wars 2. I love Charr and there are some good things about the game, but I've had my beefs with it since release. I won't rant about it here, but at some point I gotta put it down.

Waiting For Tonight Act 5

By Bartan Tirix

It was quiet. Shade blanketing the forest as it attempted to filter out the hot sun. Most of the trees and heavy foliage absorbing the wind blowing into the thick oasis, filtering the sand except for the scent. Making him long for those rays right then and there, wanting to bathe in the light's warmth instead of the cold of the shadows.

But the raptor tracked this rabbit all the way in here, and he'll leave the forest with it. Staying low to the ground, allowing the small leaves surrounding him to tickle across his scales. Urging them to click in a shiver, but he held back. Slowly scanning through the plant life for any sudden movement, studying any brown patches until he seen something flick. An ear. A long one.

As excited as he was to spot it, the dinosaur would only have one chance at this. Steadying his heart to not beat so loudly into his ears. Placing all four paws onto the ground, prepping his grip. The wind sending a gust his way as the rabbit remained still, looking the raptor's way for a moment. Then a little bit off to the side, then completely around-

He pounced! Sending the critter into a panic from the sudden movement of leaves, taking off into the forest before the predator even landed. Giving chase as the hare hopped over obstacles and under branches, ones that the larger theropod could easily move. Attempting to follow where the brown one was going but soon the rabbit began using the guise of plantlife to avoid detection.

However, scampering through the bushes caused them to move ever so slightly and give away the prey's position. Even when turning sharp corner after sharp corner, the raptor stayed locked onto it. Predicting where the bounty would head towards next, Ari took a risk and pounced forwards! Scraping the grounds with his fores when he landed and actually grabbing hold of the fluffy body!

Though his landing was a little rough, causing him to lose balance and fall to his side while still grasping hold of the citter! Feeling it squirm and cry loudly, eventually squeezing out of the dinosaur's grip and escaping, causing the larger one to once again give chase within the dense forest.

Almost losing sign of it a few times during the pursuit as it began darting inbetween small trees. Ones that the raptor needed to go around to avoid getting stuck, but also taking little shortcuts to lead the hare into more opened areas. Finding the perfect moment for another pounce-!

Only for the prey to suddenly take a sharp turn while Ari was in mid-flight, landing into some bushes that was hiding a downhill. Causing him to slide down it and tumble a little bit towards the bottom. It wasn't very large, but there was no way the raptor was catching up to it now. Making him grumble in disappointment and snort.

But where was he? Hills like this were very uncommon in the desert. Taking a few sniffs into the air and... Detecting something familiar. Very familiar. Something that made him really happy... Yet slightly off.

He followed it, into some of the more thicker shrubbery until he came to a small waterhole. A low platform covered in fresh grass overlooked it, and resting on it was another raptor. White, covered in black spots. Female, her back turned while laying down over the soft grass. Instantly making his heart flutter.

A purr in question got her attention, looking at him with... Very very familiar red eyes. The Charr? Was this really Linet? Now in... Raptor form? She gave a shy smile and let out an inviting purr back. Rolling herself to face Ari, only lightly keeping those hind legs closed. Knowing very well just how interested he was in such an area from the light wags and flutters of her tail.

The male crept along the lip of the waters, across the stoney path up to where the white one rested. Gently touching her form and shuttering upon contact, causing Ari to nearly huff at such a sight. Especially when she began opening that hind legs, revealing her ready sex towards the dark red one. Getting the attention of those orange discs as he couldn't stop his snout from giving that slit a nudge, loving that scent of a heated female.

A single lick was all it took to get her to whimper and for Ari's own lower end to feel frustrated with need. Taking a few more and matching Linet's taste perfectly with what he recalled before sliding that tongue up her scaled underside. Climbing up her white body and meeting that snout with a small kiss. Then a deeper one-

Only for her maw to taste incredibly dry. And like... Straw? -Doesn't matter, he needed to mount her now! Rubbing his dark pink spire against her plump folds- only to feel like he was mounting a dead bush! Something along the lines of... Hay? Damnit...

The raptor groaned loudly, getting a double take from the female and spotting her look in question. Hearing her speak, but not quite understanding what Linet said to him... And then it hit Ari, this... Foreboding wave of concern and that something was deeply wrong...

Before he woke up. Frustratingly attempting to mount a bale of hay. Releasing a growl as he attempted to thrust into it, only to receive discomfort instead. Warning him to stop before the raptor regrets it and reluctantly complying. Flopping on the makeshift bed and just trying to stroke himself off with his paws, but he couldn't quite do it like his master could. Maybe he could get her to help?

Thinking about Linet brought back those feelings once more, as he looked out into the doorway of the small barn. Wondering if the charr was still sleeping the morning away, which usually meant the raptor did a good job the night prior, but... It's been pretty frequent lately. To the point of concern for the scaled one.

And like that, his need was subsided and replaced with worry. Still leaking a bit onto the bed of straw, honestly unsure why he's been so...Productive lately. But it does make his master happy, even if the dinosaur had to deal with wet and needy mornings. It did get him up earlier to patrol and possibly hunt something down for Linet to prepare.

Giving up on sleep and relief, Ari got up and shook the itchiness from his scales. Looking down at his bed and finding that he was tossing in his rest again; sliding the blanket he used to prevent such discomfort off the bale in his slumber. Doing his best to take hold of it and placing it on top of for the next use, if only he could find a bigger one.

But this was just a makeshift bed of sorts for whenever he couldn't quite get that door opened. Seems like everytime the dinosaur left the main home, it became shut tight by the time he returned. Something Linet explained to him once but he couldn't quite understand it, apart from "If I go out, I can't get back in until she lets me in."

Granted, that didn't stop the dinosaur from trying again. Leaving the opened 'barn' that was honestly more of a large shack or a stable, and getting greeted by the warm morning air. Waters from the northern Lake Bounty looking higher than expected, flooding the walking path in and out of their home. The lush green grass along the opened and hilly fields in the distance, the mountains to the east that curved to create a wall down south as well, behind the makeshift house.

Yes, it was their cozy little part of Kryta. A little far from the big trade city, but it did give the white charr access to materials and destinations as needed. As well as privacy, nearly having an island of sorts connected to the wall of rock that divided Gendarran from Lion's Arch. Not that Ari could really keep any of that straight in his head, even after being shown the maps.

Instead, he relied on other senses, specifically scents. Recognizing this place as home after a few months of camping around. Finding a good spot where the pirates wouldn't come close, and the Lionguard wouldn't complain about 'A Dinosaur Roaming Around Terrorizing The Local Orchards'. Making the raptor snort at such a thing. It was literally one apple, why get so upset? It wasn't his fault their daughter was easily startled.

Pulling the wooden door's handle to their cabin proved it locked as per usual. Trying to remember her instructions in order to make the mechanism move correctly. Something to do with a nearby piece of wood with a little notch on it. Sliding it in the gap of the door to reach the locking mechanism on the inside, feeling something on the other end click. Then... Up was it?

The thing slid up with ease, making the dinosaur purr in question and try the door again. Still stuck. Pushing up on the board wouldn't do anything else, but that... Lock on the other side remained up until Ari attempted the door again. Hearing it fall on the other side; back into place and getting him to snort at it. He just couldn't get it and would have to wait until the charr got up and explain it to him again.

For now, he could at least get something for her. Returning to the opened stable and donning a small set of pouches that rested on his shoulders and collar, hoping to collect a few things as he walked the path down to the beach. Going down for a freshwater drink, he wondered what Linet would like for breakfast. They still had meat from a ram caught within the recent days, how the white one preserved it so well was still beyond him. All he knew is that it was in a cold box of sorts, along where she kept the chicken eggs. A certain food she's been trying to get the dinosaur to try lately, but he was having none of it.

Taking a large leap across the waters and onto the opposite end of the beach; making the 30ft jump with trivial ease and landing on the other side. Startling a freshwater crab as it squealed and snapped at the dinosaur and getting Ari to hiss at it. Scaring it back into the safer waters as he continued up to the grass and an untraveled path. One that was getting more worn as he used it.

Scanning the grounds and grassy areas for anything of use, causing some stags to be cautious of the raptor's approach. But he paid them no mind, spotting some wild onions growing and digging those out to place in the pouch. Continuing on to find the human-made buildings. A rather fancy looking one with quite the hedge garden, but the dino has already searched that one and got scolded for it. There was nothing special about it.

The one across the road a ways, however, had a couple of small gardens that held trellis of smaller plants. Still quite young, but the vines were climbing up the rows of wires and sticks. Granted, the several chickens around did catch the raptor's attention much faster. Getting both the larger one and one of the small birds to stare at each other for a few moments, taking turns tilting their heads in puzzlement and letting out soft purrs.

Only for someone inside the house to shout and dash outside, the human woman shooing the dinosaur away from her birds as if Ari were a danger to them. Making him take a few steps back and release a whimpering grunt, arguing that he wasn't doing anything wrong. But that hardly seemed to matter to these species, be it the hairless ones or the large cats like Linet; they all seemed to look ill at the raptor's presence.

It was best that he left regardless, taking the path down and across a large stone bridge, he could spot the apple orchard up ahead. Perhaps maybe he could take a few apples without getting caught? Still not quite understanding why he wasn't allowed to take them in the first place, they had plenty. And there was no way these people could eat so many apples, even during the winter.

Ari carefully approached the rows of trees, searching for any signs of the owners being around. However, instead finding a few rather large spiders near the trees and one close to the main building. And by 'large' I mean at least half-human sized. Recalling Linet stating that these things were a bit of a pest and would often poison the trees.

Well, the raptor would have none of that. Releasing a low growl and approaching the two spiders near the trees with a light hiss. Getting their attention as the beast prowled and circled around, aiming to dive them back into the landscape far away. Watching the arachnids raise a few appendages to make themselves look bigger and a threat, while the dinosaur easily matched that height in a prowling stance. Raising his upper body more and releasing a deeper screech as they started to back away.

Another growl, louder that time and they began to withdraw as Ari gave them a little bit of a chase to ensure they would keep away. Only for a slight whimper to catch his attention towards the house. Spotting that last spider searching around some large crates, while that whine sounded more like... A human's?

Quickly the dino put things together and made a giant leap towards the other spider. Landing behind it, taking a short hop over it, and ending that small jump with a tailsweep. Intentionally missing the arachnid but giving it a scare as it squealed and raised appendages like the others. Aiming its abdomen towards Ari as he quickly lept out of the way, avoiding a spray of toxic fluids that coated the wooden boxes.

The raptor threatened it further with a loud hiss and a couple of slashes from his hind legs, diving the spider away with the others. Ensuring they were gone before returning to the crate to make sure the person was safe, still detecting the whimpers and small cries of fear of... A young girl? Human, like many others around these parts. Shaken as the theropod purred at her in question, moving slowly around as the young one whined.

Only for those orange eyes to double take at her arm and notice two piercing marks within a swollen fore. That uneasy feeling returned, knowing something was wrong. Slowly, he once again moved his snout towards her other hand, giving it a small nudge that knew a bit more strength. Following a friendly lick at least helped the girl calm down, but... There was something hazy in her brown eyes. A fatigue?

Whatever it was, it seemed wrong to him. Ari gently grabbed at her waist's belt and pulled the girl to her feet, watching her use the nearby crates to balance as she whimpered again. Saying something but the only word he could make out was Hurts. Laying down so she could get on, something the girl didn't seem to understand or perhaps... Was afraid of? Honestly, the stench of fear was very strong with this one.

But he had to get her to an adult somewhere, or a medical professional of sorts. Recalling one such place within the city and wanting to rush towards there. But moving suddenly caused the human to yelp loudly and pull on one of his spines. Grumbling at it and making him wonder why she didn't use the reins like Linet- Ohhh... He didn't have them on.

The red one would just have to deal with it. Trying to be steady as well as quick, never minding the noises that she made while the girl's grip tightened to around his neck. Too focused on his movement and destination that he didn't hear people yelling at the raptor, let alone give chase before giving up.

He followed the path through the farmlands and orchards, spotting the giant wall of the city. Still hearing a whimper from his shoulder from time to time, reducing Ari's concern as the girl was still conscious. However, skidding to a small stop as he spotted quite the line up to the gate; guarded by Lionguards who were at least distracted about who to let through and such. A bit of a morning rush it seemed, and on today of all days.

The dinosaur looked back, trying to meet the gaze of the scared human but was only able to really catch her heavy breathing. He didn't have time for this, her pulse still rapid but slowly fading. A slight call to the female and she only faintly whined, hopping in place a few times to get her grip to tighten as he began taking off, abandoning the path up to the small bridge that led to the gate and cutting straight across it. Leaping from the grass, over the waters, and onto the rail-less stone archway that made the bridge.

The sudden appearance of a large dinosaur understandably scared a few people and animals, alerting the guards but Ari didn't have time to even attempt to explain things. Before the brass armored ones could box him in, the raptor took another leap on top of a wagon carrying crates, then a very strong jump over two more wagons, one actually passing through the opened gates!

Ari was in! Ignoring the startled sounds of people, more barnyard life, and shouts of guards as the red raptor took off! Faintly recalling where the medical office was, or at least the one Linet had taken him to a few times. Picking up a strong scent of gauze and creams, spotting at least one person with bandages on and throwing his destination off a little bit. But it had to be close!

A couple of turns later and the girl's grip began to weaken. Making him skid to a stop and call out to her. Breaths getting shallow, heartbeat quickly fainting. He cursed in a hiss! That clinic was around here somewheres! Trying to move quickly without making her fall off, he turned a corner and spotted that familiar symbol! Leaping quickly towards the building, sliding to a stop and nearly giving out a panicked roar as the raptor bashed his head in the door in an attempt at a knock.

Only for the thing to fly opened and frighten both staff and clients waiting inside, causing them to get as far away from the beast as possible! Only after a few more cries from the dinosaur did one of the staff members finally look over and notice the passed out girl on him. Laying down on the ground as the medical staff quickly sprung into action, understanding what Ari was trying to get their attention for. None of which really looked familiar to him aside from a small grey asura, one that took a single look at the colorful theropod and instantly recognized it. "You're that... Spotted cat's pet? What are you-?"

The large one just whined and nudged the unconscious girl's arm, getting them to take a look at it as one nurse whispered. "Spider bite."

"Bring the anti-venom!" The doctor called, leaning down and checking her vitals. Shallow breaths, faint pulse. The dino could tell that from where he was sitting, but double taking at a squad of guards coming towards them. Lowering his head, knowing he was going to get into trouble.

"Get some rope on that animal." One of them called, hearing the raptor nearly respond with a disgruntled grumble. But to everyone's surprise Ari didn't fight it. This wasn't the first time he was detained, let alone here. "We'll take him to a cell until we can contact his owner-"

"Not until I'm done with him!" The short doctor snapped at the squad captain. Spotting one of the nurses return with an antivenom kit and signalling a foldable chart that came with it. "I need this lizard to identify what bit her."

"You're joking." The captain nearly growled. "That thing has the brain the size of a walnut, what could you possibly-?"

"Did you see what attacked this girl?" The asura snapped, actually intimidating the guards despite being at most half their size. "If I issue the wrong anti-venom, she is a gonner." The captain just grinded his teeth in a bit of a snarl. "I know that this animal is nothing but trouble-" A whine from the raptor. "But if that furball's word is worth a speck of progeny's earwax, then his so-called intelligence, how little that may be, is more useful to me right now than any of you are. Only he can Help me." Without waiting for a response, the doctor opened the chart and flipped through the pages, showing it to the dinosaur. "Arry." He spoke slowly, getting the raptor to tilt his head. "Did you see what spider bit her?"

Those orange eyes looked back and forth between the small asura and the chart of spiders. Many of which looked similar to him. "Even if it's just the color, that can help." To his surprise the theropod nodded, nudging a spot on the clipboard. "Don't use your snout like a barbarian, use your hands!" A slight whimper and Ari lifted a paw, trying to point at it like Linet would do.

The doctor's stern eyes shifted back and forth between the dinosaur and his choice. Actually taking hold of the beast's chin with his free hand and looking harshly into those orange eyes. "You are certain it is that one?" A faint nod and a whine from the raptor at least 5x his size. "Because if you are wrong..." A few seconds of study, and not a single hint of doubt in those orange discs. Letting go and folding up the chart again. "Pass me the Forest Spider AV."

"Of course it's from a Forest Spider, nothing else comes around villages outside the city-"

"Unlike my line of work, captain, people don't die when _ you _make assumptions." The asura snapped, not looking up from giving the girl the shot. "I'm done with the animal, you may take it away to where-ever."

A couple of the guards looked at their boss, waiting on instructions. "...We'll lock him in the stable for now. I'll write a letter and send someone out to that charr's shack to let her know."

He never liked these boxes, even when they were more made for raptors. It made the dinosaur feel claustrophobic , not even given the proper room to turn around without needing to discomfort his tail. So many strange smells and noises, even from when he was here last time.

Once again, Ari fought with his collar and chain, attached to both ends of the walls. Further security to prevent the theropod from escaping or damaging things, still spotting some of the claw marks on the door from prior holdings. At least he was still able to sit and lay down with his head leaning up against the side or the door. Not the most comfortable, but he wasn't forced to stand like many of these other bulls.

Some talking got the red one's attention, making him purr a bit and look into the direction of the voices. Swearing one of them sounded familiar, making his heart flutter with excitement as he identified both the voice and the footsteps. Ones of her species and actually unarmored- but... A little bit slower?

She was forced to walk here, the raptor supposed. Would make sense that the charr would be tired. Scampering up and leaning his head over the small doorway to look out and call to her from across the stable's half closed gate. Spotting her silhouette as Linet walked inside, giving the dino a rather disappointed look. Even though it did make him feel guilty, it couldn't detour Ari's excitement of seeing her again.

...Until the white one got closer and that foreboding feeling returned, actually making his tail wags slow to a stop and look at her with concern. Something that was very close to guilt as the charr sighed. "What was it this time? You could smell the bakery from across the wall?" No response. "Did a bird or a squirrel get your attention? Made you jump the custom's gate?" The large one only tilted his head, shifting his orange gaze from her to outside while Linet shook her own. "You're going to keep finding yourself here more often if you keep trying stunts like that."

Ari snorted at her, but he couldn't shake off this feeling that something was wrong. Leaning forwards to nudge her and give her neck a lick, only to get an unusual amount of stray fur on his tongue. Attempting to spit it out as she took a breath and rubbed the side of his neck. Soon hearing the collar unlock and then the gate inbetween them, but he still didn't move out. Taking the moment to study her, trying to find out what is wrong...

She looked tired. Like she stayed up all evening, which wasn't the case. He knew that for certain. But... There was something off. "Come on." She coaxed him, getting the dinosaur to whine a little. "Lets just get you back home." A faint nod and he complied, walking out and feeling her get on bare-back. Going slowly out the doorway as to make sure the charr didn't get hit, only to find another charr armored and sitting down as guard. Raising up and motioning them to slow down, with a rather confused look on his lion-like face.

"Sorry for listening in, but..." He started looking between the raptor and Linet. "Were you not informed of what he was in for?"

"Jumping the gates, why?"

"No- well, yes. But he only jumped them to get through quickly." The guard stated, getting a rather unimpressed look from the white spotted feline. "Because he was trying to help her." That got a stern look from those red eyes, even making Ari look back at his partner.

"Help who." She barely asked.

"There was a little human girl, bitten by a poisonous spider-"

"Venomous."

"Whatever." Linet finally moved her gaze over to the dinosaur, almost studying his rather questioning expression. As if trying to follow the conversation. "He jumped the gate to get her to the clinic in Commodore's. He saved her life." No response for a few moments, but the dinosaur seen a fuse light up in the white one's eyes. Making him whine.

"Thank you for telling me this." She gave a few pats on Ari's neck, signalling him to move forwards.

"You really weren't told? He was supposed to... In the letter..." The guard trailed off as she started moving away. Shrugging a little bit and heading the same direction. Watching them take a different turn towards the Fort instead out of the north gate, unable to hide his grin. "Give him hell, girl."

Across the large bridge was a little bit on the busy side, expected for this time of day. Coming up to the courtyard of sorts and instantly, spotting the captain that signed the letter, giving her mount a few taps to slow down. Skidding to a stop and feeling her slip off and walk towards him in anger. "I see you've gotten your pet back-"

"Do you mind telling me what exactly he did, Collin?" Linet growled at him, nearly towering over the armored captain as he took a few steps back.

"It was in the letter I signed! Last time I checked you could read-"

"That he jumped the gate-"

"For the fourth time, I might add. You might-"

"Do you wish to elaborate on that story?" She nearly shouted, not getting a response. "Maybe mention something about a cub seeking medical attention!?"

"That is irrelevant! That animal-" Those red eyes nearly flickered like a flame. "Broke the law and was detained!"

"A Law should never get in the way of Logic, and you know this! It was a medical emergency-!"

"As if your pet can tell the difference! And don't talk as if that lizard has rights!" The charr took another step closer to the captain, an inch away from his face and spoke lowly but thickly.

"Next time I ever get a report from anyone in the Lionguard, I want every. Single. Detail. Written out. And if I find out they forgot to account for a single hair, I will come back here and separate your teeth from your skull. Do I make myself clear."

"Are you threatening a Lionguar-?"

"I will take jailtime if it means getting incompetence off the damn force." Linet gestured the raptor after a moment of thick silence. "He may not be able to speak, but he's smart enough to do your job ten times over, Collin. Maybe you should really ponder over who's the actual animal in this situation, because if your definition of one is 'Lack of Intelligence'..." She left it at that, turning around and mounting the raptor a bit hard as the two got the most furious stare from the guard captain. "Let's go home." Ari nodded at her command, and started heading back across the bridge.

Upon reaching the northern gate the raptor slowed to a stop, unable to keep his gaze away from the alley that held the clinic. Of course getting the charr's attention and receiving a pet from his rider. "Is that where you took her? To Jaara's?" The dinosaur nodded at her. "Did you want to see how she's doing?" Without actually answering Linet, the theropod took off down the alleyway. Hearing the white one on his back lightly chuckle at the action as he slid to a stop.

The feline got off and lightly patted that scaly muzzle as he attempted to peek through the door; having no chance in actually fitting inside. Even the charr had a hard time to do so as she approached the desk, spotting a rather tall female human-lookalike. "I see someone got bailed out." The norn teased, getting Linet to nod at her.

"You were here when he brought in the little girl?"

"Sarah, yes. She's doing better, looks like he was correct about what bit her." The brown haired one double taked at the doorway where the raptor released a loud sigh of relief, making the norn smile and shake her head. "Remarkable that he was able to understand what was going on, even before he got here."

"They're smarter than people give them credit for, and not just Ari."

"Yeah... My mother used to work with animals alongside a Snow Leopard."

"Not an easy thing to tame, they're surprisingly timid of many creatures."

"Especially anything bigger than them. She used to tell me that Daring Ol' Spots there was often smarter than every boy I dated growing up combined." The two shared a chuckle. "I eventually found out how right she was."

"They're honestly like tourists who just don't know the rules and language. But they can surprise you from time to time." They nodded in agreement. "Have Sarah's parents come by for her yet?"

"Not yet. She's still drifting in and out of unconsciousness, however she will make a full recovery. As common as they are, forest spiders are not something to take lightly."

"I hear you..." The white one attempted to look through the wall where she guessed the girl was resting. "How much will the bill be?" A little bit of a concerned look from the norn. "You don't make a lot of money farming apples, if that's what her family does. I have enough-"

"And you've done enough, Linet. Or, well, Ari has-"

"It's fine. Really." A disappointed look, then the nurse sighed.

"When will the Council pass the free healthcare already..." The Charr paid and left the building after some goodbyes, meeting the confused raptor's gaze. But giving him a pet to let him know everything's alright.

Upon passing through the northern gate (legally this time) Ari moved down the path the way home, only to slow down a bit when he spotted a human couple. Waving frantically and calling out the dinosaur as he whimpered and lowered his head. "Well, that didn't take long to find them." Linet half grumbled, giving him a few taps to meet them halfway. Regardless of how reluctant the mount was to do so.

"Where the hell did your beast take my daughter!?" The human father nearly growled at the white furred one.

"She was bitten by a forest spider and poisoned. That's why he ran off with her."

"He should've brought her to us, her parents!" The wife argued, getting a rather strong gaze from those red eyes.

"Are you a doctor?" Linet barely asked them. "Even if you are, how was he supposed to know that?"

"Whenever a child is in danger, you take them to their parents-"

"To probably waste precious time, I imagine." The charr grumbled. "From his perspective, your daughter was hurt and needed medical attention. So he took her to the closest one he knew: Jaara on the Commodore's northern strip."

"That's..." The parents shared a look. "Expensive."

"Yes." Linet grumbled. "It is."

"How are we going to afford that?" She didn't bother answering him, instead just gave Ari the command to move forwards. He did so, happy to get out of there and attempting to shake off their stares from afar. Longing to get back to their home, to the point where he took a few long-jump shortcuts. Stopping at the shore of their 'island' and taking a drink while the white one got off, petting the dinosaur's side.

"...Have you felt...?" A purr in question from Ari, grabbing his attention. "Off after getting here?" He tilted his head at the charr staring at the water. "I haven't felt that good lately," A whimper from him. "and I wonder if it's the water here."

Another whine as he nuzzled the white one. "I've even tested it though, and nothing is wrong with it after boiling. I just..." Linet massaged her forehead a bit. "Haven't felt the best lately. Mind feels a bit clouded and tired." A worried look from those orange eyes. "But that doesn't stop things from needing to be done." A few more pets and she finally noticed he was wearing that pouch set, digging into one of the pockets and finding a couple of wild onions. "Found something this morning, did you?"

A large nod from the raptor, which then turned to concern thinking she might get the wrong idea. "Don't worry, I believe you. They don't look like they've been planted in a garden anyway." Ari smiled at her as they started to walk up, feeling a bit of droplets on his lips and licking them off. Only to instantly regret it, detecting several more stray hairs that he attempted to spit out... Where he nuzzled her.

That uneasy feeling returned, watching his partner walk up a hit in almost a stagger. Catching up to her just in time for the charr to lightly stumble and get caught by Ari's head/neck. Helping her the rest of the way until it was level and getting a few pets as thanks. Releasing that worrisome whimper again but not getting her attention. Granted, that was short lived as he spotted the front door to their home and letting off a bit of a grumble.

That got Linet to chuckle. "I thought I heard you attempt this again this morning." She got a snort in reply as she found the board needed to unlock the door. Following the instructions slowly as he observed. "Stick it in underneath the latch. Slide it up, press in again until you hear it click. Then slide the board out and put it on top; slide it down. Press it for the second click." Another omitted, getting the dinosaur to tilt his head. "Then out again, up from the bottom and it'll come completely up." Hearing something rotate from behind the door.

She opened it and reached in behind to once again lock it. Closing the door with both of them outside and handing Ari the board. "You try it." He attempted to take hold of the board with his maw, only for it to move away. "Hands." A grumble. "You'll understand it better if you do it with your hands."

A snort and vocal in protest, but it was a losing battle. Reluctantly taking the object a bit awkwardly with his paws and putting it inbetween the doorway. "Make sure the notch is facing up." Ari did so. "Let it slide up against the latch, and slide up all the way. Now push in." Doing so made a loud click, getting his attention and making that tail wag. Pulling the object out. "Okay, notch facing down now, you'll need it later. Slide it all the way down, press in- yep." A noise of excitement, like having a lightbulb click on with the door's odd lock. Pulling the board out again and sliding it all the way up to feel the door give. Then shoving the door opened before it had a chance to deny the raptor entry again, making Linet chuckle. "There you go, good job."

A chirp in response as he entered after the charr, placing the piece of wood inside the shack without her noticing. Hearing Linet sigh and double taking, wondering if it was something Ari had done. But she just moved to the table and picked up a bottle, some liquids still inside. "I forgot to finish this last night." She took a drink out of it, and once again the raptor got that feeling. Something was wrong with her.

Of course such thoughts altered his expression, catching the attention of that red eye as the large feline emptied the bottle. "It's nothing bad, Ari. I need to take it if you want to fit inside me, you know this." A noise in worry from him as she set the onions down. "We've tried without it and you complained about how tight I was, remember?" That concerned gaze didn't lift, eventually getting her to meet it and sigh.

"Hey..." She spoke softly, moving up to his muzzle and giving the raptor a little kiss between the eyes. "If it was harmful, I would've felt any symptoms by now. I'm okay, Ari." Another noise of worry as he just nuzzled the furred one. "Come on, let's get some lunch into you. I also want to repair that wagon while it's warm out."

It was like a loud screaming that shocked the raptor awake, causing him to roll to his feet quickly and call out. Even before he got any situational awareness. Scanning the areas, both inside the stable and outside, but nothing came in terms of results. Just a slightly chilling breeze, the unusual darkness in the sky from a passing cloud, and the sounds of water below.

Yet... Something was wrong, Ari could just... Feel it. Like something happened, or that there was a danger elsewhere. Moving out of the large shack and scanning their little island for any signs, strange smells, but nothing... Then doing the same down towards the beaches and shores, only finding the occasional large crab that hissed at the dinosaur.

But he ignored it, taking a much needed drink from the unusually high waters and actually realising he still had the reins on. They've been so busy the last three weeks that he's been almost too tired to pester Linet to take them off. The two nearly flopping into bed as soon as they were done with supper the previous day and sleeping inside the main shed until the raptor needed to go out. Either for his 'business' or for a patrol, then having difficulties with the front door again.

He grumbled at the thought of it, swearing he was doing it right. Approaching the door and still getting that strange... Feeling, causing his scales to click loudly in a shiver as he shook it out. Looking up at the large cloud nearly blocking the sun... A storm that would likely approach here later in the day, causing the waters in the lake to grow and flow down, that's why they felt higher. Meaning no work today. Sure, the raptor can easily jump that, but the wagon would get stuck in the beach sands.

It was a bit of relief, but such a thing was short lived with frustration as he attempted the lock again. Down below, up, hear the click. Press in, switch to the top, pull down. Click? No click. Pull down and press in again, no click. Giving it a growl before jiggling it a little and finally getting that noise. Then straight up to finally get the door opened-

And see Linet lying on the floor.

Ari's heart skipped a beat, freezing in place for what felt like a full minute before sprinting towards her. Dropping the notched wooden plank indoors as he called. Then louder, shaking the charr who never looked so... Sick? A few nuzzles but no response, but she was breathing. Heartbeat was a bit faint, as he looked around. Spotting that same bottle she kept drinking out of laying nearby. The substance still leaking onto the floor.

It's been recent at least, but what should he do!? Linet always had an answer for him, a command! Rapidly looking around for any sort of guidance or idea before taking a breath. He was on his own right now, but maybe someone else could help-

The Doctor! That short one! He would know! As soon as the thought appeared, Ari attempted to lift the large feline up and carry her with his arms, but she was just too heavy. He was strong, sure, but his theropodic form was not built for front lifting like this. He needed to get her out of here, but how-?

wagon? But the wagon would only get stuck in the water. If he could just get her onto his back... Or, could he bring the Doctor here instead? That was his current fastest option. Giving his white mate a very tight hug and a loud whimper, hoping that she would just suddenly wake up. But no movement, and the longer he held off on finding help...

Another whine as he let go, doing one of the hardest things the raptor's ever had to do and throwing the door open. Leaping outside and hearing the echo of it close loudly behind him as he sprinted down towards the shore and taking a jump to a small island patch in the waters, followed by a massive leap to the other side. Landing on the beach, sprinting up the hill and across the meadow before finally hitting the path. The rain started to pelt hard against his scales as he ran, nearly tearing through the orchard for a shortcut and planning to take that same leap onto the rail-less bridge leading to the main city!

Only to find the gates closed this time! The guards were doing some inspection of travellers while several others waited behind patiently. No sneaking in this time, and one of the Lionguard ended up pointing at the raptor. Definitely no sneaking in now, but he had to try something! Leaping onto the bridge regardless and putting several of commoners and guards on alert as the foreign animal quickly approached them.

"Hold it, beast! You're not getting in this time-" Ari yelped at them, whimpering and constantly motioning back where he came.

"What the hell is wrong with it?"

"Is it rabid?" One traveller questioned.

"Possibly scared of the storm?" A low growl from the raptor as he tried again. "Relax, it's nothing that bad. It'll be over before you know it-" A near screech from Ari as he attempted to communicate, causing them to be a bit more hostile and putting a hand on their weapon hilts. Causing the dino to take a breath and whimper, nearly crying in frustration.

"What even is that?"

"Some ranger's pet?"

"It's that charr's pet." A sharp head lift from the raptor as he recognized that voice! Instantly looking back and around, nearly swatting one of the lionguard with his turnabout. "His name is Arry or something-" The asura grumbled, and within a near flash the raptor was in his face. Scaring the jazz out of both asura and the bull pulling their wagons with the sudden appearance as Ari yelped at the Doctor.

Of course getting the attention of the guards as they came to help. "Stop! Stop! Personal space, you!" Jaara growled at the dinosaur, only to get the same level of whines and calls. "CALM DOWN!" The smaller one barked, making the dark red raptor lower his head and take a step back, now noticing the guards surrounding him.

"Do you want us to detain this animal-?"

"Stop talking." The doctor nearly ordered the Lionguard, hearing a growl in response but Jaara's attention didn't waver. "What's got you all worked up this time?" A loud whine, which only made the smaller one more frustrated... This wasn't going to work.

Ari took a deep breath as he moved his muzzle close to the Asura, exhaling loudly in two breaths. "Hel... P..." The doctor looked at him rather seriously, a hint of surprised interest in his eyes as he turned to his assistant.

"Do you know where to go once we get inside?"

"Y-yes, but-"

"The paperwork should be in the seat." Jaara reached back and grabbed a small medical bag, turning to Ari after. "This better be worth my time-" A chirp as the raptor took a hold of the bag and moved forwards, directing the asura to sit on his back. "No saddle, great. Go slow, I haven't-" As soon as the reins were felt to be taken a hold of, Ari took off. Ignoring the doctor's curses as the mount sprinted full speed!

Moving down towards one of the river banks and getting a panicked yelp as the dino headed straight for the water. "W-wait! Don't-! I Can't Swim!!" A near cry in fear as the raptor took a large leap across it, never even touching the river waters. "Are You Insane, Arry!?" The smaller one scolded him, getting a purr in question as he dashed over the meadow. Aiming for the small lake between the mainland and Linet's home, looking back to nearly see the blood drain from the doctor's face.

"No... Nonononono-! Arry! ARRY!" The raptor picked up speed, noticing the water raised up high enough to hide that small bit of land he used earlier to get across it. "There is no way in the Eternal Alchemy that you are going to make that-!!" A loud, surprisingly high pitched scream from the asura as Ari took the giant leap. Making it to that small patch that was being flooded and then the second jump to their home. Sprinting up the wet grass as fast as he could as the asura just held on. "D-did...!? Did you just jump OFF of WATER!?"

As proud as he was over such a flawless jump, the dinosaur was just too focused. Approaching the shack's door and setting down the bag while laying down. Feeling the doctor slide off and nearly hug the wet ground. "Sweet merciful land...!" He nearly begged before sassing the dinosaur. "What part about Going Slow did that walnut brain of yours not understand!?" A whimper from Ari as he pushed the door- ... Closed?

Damnit! It locked behind him! Frantically digging through a nearby wood pile only to recall that he left it inside... Again. "What are you looking for-?" Jaara started to ask, only to see a small bit of white within the cracks of the door, and he now understood. Searching the door for any sort of lock as the raptor moved a ways behind him. "Where is the damn key!?" A call from Ari got his attention, only to nearly scream again and dive out of the way of the charging dinosaur! Watching the dark red one leap and dropkick the door, busting the lock and slamming the barrier wide open. "Oh. You're the key."

The asura scampered up and inside, looking the passed out charr over before snapping his fingers to get the raptor's attention. "Bag!" Ari retrieved it. "Turn her on her back!" They did so as he checked for vitals. "Still breathing. Pulse is a bit faint." He dug through his pack to pull out a device. "How long has she been unconscious?" A worried look from Ari as he attempted to find some way to communicate, looking outside and pointing. "Before the rain?" A series of nods. "Probably not too long then."

Jaara quickly looked around as the small handheld device scanned her. Spotting the bottle and motioning the dinosaur. "Hold this." He commanded, pointing at the small machine as he looked over the bottle. Giving it a small sniff and taking a sample. "I'll scan this later. For now, I want to get her back onto the bed."

Ari did his best to drag her in, getting a grumble from the charr in the process. Making the raptor whimper at her and nuzzle as the doctor looked over the device. "I don't like these readings, but they could be worse. The good news is this isn't urgent, but you were right to drag me out into this... Place." A look of worry from the dino as the asura looked over the bottle. "How long has she been drinking this?" That look intensified. "So longer than a week?" Ari nodded. "Month?" A nod. "Year? ...Two years?" Jaara released a grumbling sigh. "I would like to keep her in my clinic if I could get her out of here, but I take it there's a reason why you decided to come and get me instead..." The small one exhaled loudly as the theropod whined. "For now, let's try to get some water into her. Where do you keep your purified? I want to scan that as we wait out the storm."

"However, I would like a few more things." A purr in question from the raptor as Jaara began writing things down in a notepad... And taking an unusually long time to do so before ripping one page out and writing in another. Taking both and placing them in a plastic bag of sorts. "Someone should stay here with her, and since I am going nowheres near the water, I'm intrusting you with this task, Arry." He handed the scaled one the plastic bag with the letters inside. "In there are two notes: one for my assistant who will give you another bag to return here with. The other is for those brainless Lionguard at the gates. If they do give you hassle, I will have their ears mounted on my wall, as written." A head tilt from the larger one. "Be quick about it before the storm gets any worse."

The raptor looked at him a bit sadly, then at Linet. Giving her a few nudges, but no response. A shake of that bag from the asura, telling him to hurry up and Ari nodded. Taking hold of it and then braving the storm once again.

Night came quickly, or at least it seemed to due to the storm. Causing the white feline to gain consciousness in candlelight and half grumble. "I don't remember lighting these..." Linet grumbled underneath her breath, instantly getting the attention of the dinosaur who released a whimpering cry. Instantly hugging her tightly as she chuckled. "Easy, Ari. Did I leave the candles lit all night?"

"No, but I did." Jaara grumbled, still looking through the scans. "And don't you dare put them out, I need the warmth. Should've brought a cloak..."

"Doc...?"

"You passed out several hours ago. And that pet of yours wouldn't stop freaking out at everybody it saw." The asura sighed. "I unfortunately happen to be at the right place at the right time, and I believe that lizard is growing an attachment to me."

"Bird."

"Excuse me?" Even the dinosaur purred in question.

"He'd be closer to a bird than a lizard."

"Whatever, my point is Arry is a pet." A chuckle from Linet as she just hugged the whimpering beast. "You've been... Self-testing, is that it?" Both red and orange eyes gazed at the smaller one. "Trying something experimental? And for a while, according to..." A gesture at the dinosaur, but no response from the charr. "I found the bottle, scanned it, and found a lot of traces of it in your system. You cannot deny that you-"

"I wasn't..." A sigh from the white one, feeling the asura's green gaze over her coming from the dark.

"You're in the most private of places if you care to admit something to me, Charr. Anything we discuss will stay between us and your raptor." She looked at him for a few moments and took a breath, then looked over at the dinosaur who was nuzzling her. Eventually sensing something was off and meeting those red eyes with his own, puzzled at why she's suddenly so... Closed up.

"I... Just know you're going to disapprove."

"Obviously. You've been poisoning yourself. You'd be surprised how common that is." The doctor grumbled. "Be it willing or ignorance, and right now I'm having a hard time deciding which one it is with you."

"...I knew the risks. Statistics were low, and I was hoping my liver could handle it, considering I don't drink anything hard."

"Yet you took them anyway." The asura didn't notice her petting the raptor softly, and slowly Ari began piecing together what was happening.

"...I've been sleeping with Ari."

"Of course you have. It's freezing out here-" Jaara stopped himself, looking over the results of the substance and recalling hair loss. "...Sleeping how." He demanded, glaring at the two and the raptor whined in guilt. "Well, you're right on something, just not right in the head: I disapprove." Linet just exhaled. "Out of all the stupid things to do..."

"I know what-"

"No! You don't!" The smaller one nearly growled, letting the rainfall over the roof echo within for a few moments. "How damaged are you down there?"

"I'm not-"

"Trust me. I don't need to be a ranger to understand Size Difference, girl." No response. "Alright, fine. Then show me." That time he got a whimper from the charr. "I'm a doctor, I've seen these things before." A breath from the white one as she faintly nodded, tapping the gaze-shifting raptor to let her up and undo her lower clothing. "That's enough." A purr in question from the dinosaur as Jaara got out a flashlight and moved in closer underneath his mate's tail. Releasing a slightly jealous growl.

"It's okay, Ari." She coaxed him, giving the raptor some pets as he continued his noises of disapproval. Giving her licks and nuzzles, while also giving the doc some harsh glances.

"Spread out your legs." She did so, feeling the gloved hand spread apart her lower folds. Making noises of disapproval on occasion as the furred one nearly sighed in defeat. "Okay, lift up your shirt a little." Linet followed, letting him scan her lower area more thoroughly. Then a few more grumbles. "Okay, you can cover yourself again."

The charr did so, confusing Ari even further as she just hugged him otherwise. Feeling him return the hug before the asura passed the white one an object. The bottle. "Explain." Jaara nearly demanded. "I want to hear your thesis before I give you my results."

Linet looked over the bottle and took a deep breath. "I've... Had a fetish for..."

"Wildlife." Her four ears lowered a bit at his tone. "I wish this was the first time I've heard of such a thing." Ari let out a low growl, getting the thick attention of those green eyes. "You're just the least damaged one I've come across, and I don't just mean Female."

"Yeah... I knew that going in. Hence..." She raised the bottle a bit in a gesture. "I'm not a ranger, I'm an alchemist."

"So these are your doing."

"Yes. I don't have a dealer or anything, and I've... Went through several different versions of this compound in order to minimise the damages while trying to keep the effects."

"The primary effects being?"

"...Durability increase, not that different from typical 'Defense Potions' or foods you'd find on the market. Mine just focused on a certain area, making you able to stretch more and easier."

"In order for Ari to get his penis inside you, is that it?" No response, and the doctor sighed. Tending to the space between his eyes. "How long have you been taking these? He gave me a rough estimate while you were unconscious, considering his limitations."

"Yeah... He can't speak." Both the asura and dinosaur shared a small look. "Years at this point."

"...I see." A long pause as Jaara sighed in disapproval. "As a doctor, I come across a lot of Stupid." He tended to his eyes again. "People putting their bits into places where they don't belong. Occasionally attempting to find some new trill in the bedroom, so-to-speak. It's one reason why I miss working in Rata Sum; people there are a lot less... Passionate, let's call it."

"Try working at the Black Citadel." Linet lightly chuckled.

"I have spent two seasons there, and it's the second worst place for it. Less about them being curious as felines tend to be, and more the clients being Too Rough or just plain getting damaged in some areas via spars or whatever." Another breath from the small one. "I find it absolutely infuriating when people lie to me, thinking that I'm not clever enough to read between the lines." A glare from those red eyes but they were met with one of his raised hands, commanding her to stop. "The only thing I detest more is when I assume people are lying to me, when in fact they are telling the truth... And I need to acknowledge that I was wrong. It's respectable to be told the truth for once, which is the only thing that saves it, but I dislike being proved wrong."

"You mean...?"

"At first, I honestly did not believe you for how 'intact' your vagaina is. Which is why I needed to test it for myself a little." A small exhale. "I should have warned you first, but..."

"You didn't believe me..."

"No. And I was almost going to ask if you were receiving anally instead."

"I've... Tried it, but didn't like it as much."

"However, that doesn't mean there hasn't been damage." A faint nod from Linet as she could see where this was going. "You are far too young for menopause. Is this one of the side effects you were talking about?" Another nod. "Speak to me, girl. The light is very low here."

"Yes."

"And this has been happening for how long?"

"...Since I started taking it. First prototype." A deep exhale from the asura. "I thought it was just delays or something at first."

"When was the last time you had a cycle?"

"...I don't remember. Years?"

"And nothing unusual about your last one?"

"Last few were very... Low in volume?" She questioned her description, but the doctor nodded.

"And no pains?"

"Nothing. No cramps, lower aches or soreness. It honestly felt like..."

"Your ovaries have gone numb?" A stare from those red eyes, noticing Jaara studying the device. "You're lucky they haven't had any necrosis."

"So, they're damaged?"

"Possibly beyond repair as well. But they are still getting blood around them, so the organs are not dead, specifically. Just... Non-functional." No response from her. "However, that potion is still causing a plethora of problems throughout your system. If you want to live another five to ten years, you need to stop taking it."

"...And by it, you mean-"

"All versions of it." A sigh from Linet. "I admire work when I see it, and you did very well to create something that has very little side effects or addictive qualities. However, poison is still poison. And I'm pretty sure your liver has been working constantly to get rid of all this toxin buildup in your system."

"Which is why I..." The charr looked at Ari a bit sadly, getting him to lick her snout while still having trouble understanding what was going on.

"Probably haven't felt very good for who knows how long." Those white four ears lowered.

"Will I... Still be able to...?"

"You'll have to tell me, I'm not an alchemist. I cannot tell you how permanent these effects are, all I can really assure you is that if you keep taking this, you'll die." A whimper from the raptor, getting a questionable glance from Jaara. "What you do with him, or any other beast in your downtime is none of my business. But you know there are risks to such things, not just due to size differences."

"Yeah... I know."

"Yet it's so important to you that you will..." The doctor trailed off, noticing the way the two were looking at each other in the dim candlelight. Sighing in near irritation. "This isn't about that any longer, is it?" He got both of their attentions.

"What do you mean?"

"This isn't about thrill or decadance. I've seen that look before." The small one gestured them in the same wave, though with a grumble. "And I need to get used to the fact that Ari isn't just another dumb animal." A sudden chuckle from Linet made the asura half perk a single ear.

"That's the first time you've ever pronounced his name right."

"You're delirious." The doctor shot back, crossing his arms. "Regardless, I don't care what you two do in your evenings together. All I can tell you is that if you keep poisoning yourself you'll either end up in a morgue or back in my clinic. And to be honest, I'm not sure which is worse." Another small laugh from the white one. "But speaking of which, I would like to keep you inside for a couple of days for detox. However, my clinic is not, nor will it ever be, raptor-friendly. So consider what Arry is going to do for those days."

The two larger ones looked at each other a bit sadly while Jaara shivered, pulling over his spare blanket (packed usually for casualties). "When will this cursed storm end?"

"You might have to sleep with us." A glare from those green eyes. "I can imagine your body isn't used to the outdoors like ours are. But our heat will make you more comfortable." That gaze didn't let up until a heavy gust began blowing the door opened; pushing some of the objects used to help keep it closed and making the asura nearly wince.

"...Fine!" He nearly growled, getting up. "But no funny business, understood!" He pointed at the charr. "You shouldn't be in the mood for such things, but you!" A threatening small point at the raptor, making the scaled one whine. "If I feel so much as a poke I'm sedating you!" A head tilt at the new word, but the doctor didn't explain. Just shuffled inbetween them and into the charr's warm chest, only to be sandwiched by the dinosaur afterwards.

"You okay?"

"Yeah..." Another grumble. "Just filled with regret." A chuckle from Linet.

"That you didn't do this sooner-?"

"Shut your muzzle." A small laugh as they blew out the candles.

A long powerful leap was followed by an asuran cry of panic, and then a hiss when the raptor landed on the other side safely. "Damnit, Arry! Roads Exist For A Reason!!" Regardless of his harsh tone, Linet's laughter let the dino know he didn't do anything bad.

"You'll get used to it, Jaara-"

"Don't talk as if I'm going to be doing this every other week! I'll fund the construction of a bridge before I let this beast jump over water again!" Another series of chuckles as the raptor carried both of them through the meadow and towards the trees of the orchard. Spotting another few spiders coming towards the apple farm and advancing towards them a little quickly while giving off threatening snarls. Causing them to retreat before the arachnids reached the treeline and getting a few pets for a job well done, only for a friendly call to get all three's attention. "Oh wonderful. A distraction."

Distraction indeed, as Ari moved quickly towards the waving girl. Slowing to a trot so as to not spook her and move his muzzle against her opened hand, requesting a few pets. "Chasing some more spiders, are you?" She asked the dinosaur.

"It's not uncommon for Ari to go after wildlife, even if he's just being playful." The charr explained, dismounting him and helping the doctor down as well. Though leaving their gear strapped onto the raptor. "It's been a while. How are you feeling?"

"Much better, and... Alive, thanks to him." The small human admitted, giving that snout a hug and hearing the dark red one purr. That is until Jaara cleared his throat. "O-oh, and thanks to you too, of course-" She started to lean down to embrace the asura.

"No hugs. I also just spent the evening in a cold shed, to say I need a bath is an understatement."

"Trust me, you don't know bad." Linet grumbled.

"Considering your track record with animals, you're probably correct." A light shove from the furred one. "I trust you've made a full recovery?"

"Y-yes, sir. And I've been more careful around the spiders, but..."

"They've been more frequent lately, I imagine." The white one looked over towards the treeline. "I might be able to make you something to ward them off, it'll take a few days for them to make it a habit though."

"Better idea:" Jaara added in. "Why not let Arry do it?"

"Well, it doesn't take him too long to get here, but..." Linet trailed off when the doctor's green eyes looked at her unimpressed. "Oh..."

"What is it?"

"She's been looking for someone to take care of this beast for a few days while I treat her at my clinic." The asura explained, making the raptor purr in question. "Do you have the means to keep him sheltered here?"

"W-well, I'm not..." The girl stuttered, spotting her mother coming out to see them.

"Linet, was it?" The adult human asked, getting a nod from the Charr. "Thank you for... Paying her bill a few weeks back. We've been so busy here that I haven't been able to properly thank-"

"Well, good news." Jaara interrupted. "You can thank her now: she needs someone to take care of Arry for a few days. He'll work it off by guarding your orchard from the spider pests and hopefully get them in the habit that they will no longer attempt to do their spider things to your farm." The asura glared back at Linet. "Can we get moving now?"

The white one rubbed her neck awkwardly. "Sorry for such a sudden request. If you don't have a shelter, Ari can always just sleep in our stable back home."

"I'm pretty sure we can make some room in the barn for him. Let me ask Bill about it first." The mother motioned that she'll be back, heading back into the home.

"I'm certain father will say yes." The girl reassured. "He's been worried about losing those trees for years to the spiders. Having... Ari, was it?" Another noise in question from the dinosaur.

"Yes. It would only be for the rest of this week as well." The group looked towards the window where the mother was giving a signal for Yes. "I think that means we're set then. Feel like walking the rest of the way-?"

"I'm thinking." The doctor grumbled. Sighing in near defeat and lifting his arms up, making the charr chuckle before taking hold of Jaara's sides. Lifting him up onto Ari's back before mounting on herself.

"I'll get him back first and then give you guys the rundown. Probably even write it down in case you're unsure, but he really isn't that hard to take care of. Raptors are surprisingly independent, just very social, erm..." Linet explained, requesting the girl's name.

"Sandra."

"Okay. I'll be back in an hour tops, depending on how occupied the gate is."

"There's not much else to it, Sandra." The charr explained, getting a nervous nod while carefully feeding the raptor an apple.

"Seems... Easy enough. I'm just worried about how to give him proper attention."

"Honestly, just put him to work while you're working. He'll love you for it." A noise in confirmation from Ari as he bunted the charr. "No need to over-pamper him, but even a simple game of fetch will entertain him in the time off if he looks a little restless. Just get him the scent of the object before tossing it over the house or something." A giggle from the girl.

"Over the house?"

"He'll find it eventually. He likes the hunt." Another nuzzle from the raptor. "Alright, I best not keep Jaara waiting too long. I'll be back in a few days, Ari." A sad look from him, getting a hug from the furred one and returning it. But... Sensing something was definitely off. Especially when she started pulling away, only for his embrace to get tighter. "It's okay. It'll only be gone for a bit." A sad vocal from his throat, turning into a whine as Linet eventually squirmed out. Giving him a few taps before walking off.

Ari released a whine, feeling the young human attempt to hold him back as if he was supposed to stay. Looking back and forth between the charr leaving and Sandra, releasing another whimper before nudging the girl gently. Giving her a lick on the neck, which in turn caused her to attempt to wipe the area with her hand. Accidently 'freeing' the dinosaur and letting him leap away quickly towards Linet. Seeing that white muzzle toss, but with a smile as she pointed a claw at the approaching beast. "No, Ari. You're supposed to stay here. Only for a couple of days-"

But the dino made a few vocals, gesturing his head towards the entrance to the large city; not far from where they were. "You can't stay with me while I'm in the city." A head shake from the raptor as he tried again. "...To the gate?" A nod. "You want to walk me to the gate." A happier nod, making the white one sigh as she glanced back at the girl who was listening at a distance. Giving a faint wave saying it's okay. "...Alright, but you're coming back here afterwards, right?" A solid nod from Ari. "For how many days?" A single vocal, almost close to the word 'few'. Making Linet smirk and shake her head. "Alright, he'll be back, Sandra."

"T-that's okay." She nervously waved, returning to tend to some chores as the two walked away. Side by side with each other and the white one waited until they were in a much more open area before speaking.

"...I wonder how much you understand what's going on." A noise in question. "About what happened... To me, I mean." A bit of a sad look. "You know something changed, but you can't quite understand what." A few soft murmurs as the dark red one gave her a gentle hug, leaning his muzzle down towards her belt and nuzzling the charr's lower belly. "...Yes. It's in that area." He nodded. "And it does mean we probably won't be able to have sessions anymore. Not like that."

A whine in disappointment. "But do know that it's not because I don't want to-" She felt the raptor take a strong lick against her neck furs and pull his muzzle away; keeping that tongue out and all the stray hairs that stuck to it. As if showing Linet and she nodded, almost giving him permission to spit it out and make a fuss. At least getting assistance from her, even if it came at the cost of some chuckles. "Yes... It's because it is making me sick. I keep telling people that you're smarter than you look." A playful snort. "They don't listen, do they?" An agreeing noise of slight aggression.

Linet slowed to a stop, sighing as the large one followed suit. Giving her a gentle nudge and a whimper. "I know... I'm just disappointed, I suppose." She motioned the raptor to follow her down towards the waters, sitting in the grass and looking over them while Air curled around her. Offering his side as a resting pillow and feeling her lean against him. "I thought I could handle it, and I did so for years. It was just some minor side effects that were more of a benefit in my eyes: well... The lack of cycles, I mean." Another whine from the large one. "It doesn't mean we still can't do other things, but mounting... Might not be possible anymore."

A sad look from those orange eyes. "Whereas every time I've had to stop drinking it in the past, the effects retracted. Making it feel too tight, and uncomfortable for you. And that was only after a couple of days. It's possible that it may revert me back to my normal state after it's all out of my system." Linet sighed, a bit in disappointment. "I'll have to send a letter to Kyella too about it. Maybe I can read through some studies to see if I can find something else that works-"

A paw on her leg got the charr's attention, meeting his worried look and taking a breath in defeat. "...Maybe you're right. I just..." Another heavy breath as she just hugged the raptor around his neck. Ari soon detecting a bit of wetness on his scales. "Thank you, Ari."

The wind blew the grass and trees gently through the edge of the forest, almost giving away the raptor's position as he hid and remained still. Not spotting any movement and slowly advancing, being careful and cautious with every step throughout. The only sounds were the thin blades of green attempting to scratch those dark red scales as he camouflaged within the darker trees and dirt.

Only for those eyes to see movement, the sudden scurry of a small critter within the bushes. Yet, Ari did not go after it, just watching with those orange eyes as the rabbit stopped in a rather wide open area to turn about and perk his ears. Spotting the large raptor as they made eye contact, making the large one smile. As much as he would like to play and chase the critter through the forest, he needed to hunt. Sending out a small purr, but one of polite decline.

The small brown rabbit turned around completely, making himself near vulnerable to the dinosaur and give out a call to him. Only to get the same response: polite decline. Disappointed, the furred one just watched from afar as Ari stalked through, spotting a much bigger target: that of a stag wandering into the treeline.

Those beige ears flicked, making the raptor stop in place for a few moments as the deer studied his surroundings. Almost looking directly at the raptor until it heard a noise from the other side; the scurry from the rabbit. Giving Ari the perfect time to pounce and knock the large beast down! Squirming and attempting to kick the predator off before a great bite on the back of the neck and a twist! Hearing the bones within snap and getting the thing to completely freeze up.

A deep breath as the dinosaur calmed down on top of it, making sure the deed was done while the small rabbit came back into his view. Releasing a call of thanks and chuckling as the small one spun in a circle. Causing Ari to purr in question while tilting his head, casually walking towards the brown one as it surprisingly stayed in place, allowing the raptor to give it a soft lick before heading off in a direction. Requesting to follow, despite the dark one's slight uneasiness about leaving his bounty behind.

The two took off, not too far from where they were and spotting what the rabbit had wanted: a patch of wild clovers? Yet, the small one remained afar from it, looking at the raptor for a moment before stepping aside. Making the dinosaur nod and slowly walk out towards the patch, studying the area and releasing a low growl. Meeting a pair of eyes of another predator attempting to ambush any prey that took the bait, but taking off before Ari could fully see what it was.

Another sweep around and all seemed safe, releasing a small call to the rabbit who came in a bit cautiously. Hearing another scurry in the bushes as the raptor hissed in the direction, frightening another stalker away and leaving the brown rabbit in peace. Smiling as the small one kicked in the air with excitement and energy before feasting on the clovers. Allowing the scaled dinosaur to lick his coat while he ate, then pawing at that muzzle, giving it a small hug before taking off into the forest.

It made Ari smile brightly, taking a breath before returning to his undisturbed kill and dragging it through the meadow. Across the fields before spotting a white raptor in the distance, calling to him to come. He continued to drag the bounty, but she insisted, making Ari slightly worry as he dropped the hunt and rushed towards her. Following that black spotted female that reminded him so much of someone at that moment, but couldn't quite place it.

However, she led him to a large nest, not far from the treeline. A place he identified as home, and gesturing... A clutch of eggs. Making the male look at those red eyes in question until he heard a faint split. They were hatching...? They were hatching! The day had finally come!

He looked over at Linet, smiling brightly as she did back, and giving her an embrace while they saw another egg begin to crack open. Then another, all sharing their songs as if rehearsed that they would all come about together. Fluttering his heart as the first egg shell raised up enough for them to see the result-!

And the raptor woke up again, that same energy surging through his chest as he squeezed the furred body next to him. Hearing a familiar chuckle and a few pets against his muzzle, licking at the furred paw as he purred, then moving that tongue along her neck. Loving how now her stray hairs were no longer sticking to it. "Have a good dream?" She felt the dinosaur nod, once again releasing a soft chuckle as the charr began to stretch and awaken herself.

A good dream indeed, one he's been having for quite some time. Occasionally within the few weeks that Linet had returned from her stay at the clinic, still recalling how much it made Ari's heart flutter to see her again... He was in good care, and the humans there were warming up to the raptor, but... There was always something missing.

The dark red one took a deep breath, hypnotised by the scent of that white fur. Now once again healthy like he remembered, fluffy even, though not quite so much as it was in the colder seasons. Still a lot better. Even though it came at a price of Ari no longer being able to mount the large feline, it was the right choice that they made. Not quite realising how much the mystery drink was actually affecting her...

"Okay, time to get up." A soft grumble as the scaled one just bunted and rubbed his face against her fluff. Not wanting to quite move just yet. "Okay, a few more minutes, but we are losing daylight." A soft murmur as the two just laid with each other in silence... Only for the raptor to begin sniffing in the air, leading his snout down to her lower belly and getting a few pats. "It's okay, I'm just finally getting another heat cycle." A worried look from those orange eyes. "It's a good thing, Ari. Means I'm... Back to my normal self." The charr half mumbled, a bit sadly. Getting a few licks to cheer up.

"Alright, that's long enough. I want to get some more firewood ready." Another groan. "I know, another day out in the fields. But I'll make it up to you, I promise." A playful snort from the large one as he held his furred mate into their bed. "Come on." A few taps and a grumbling noise that sounded so close to a No made her chuckle loudly. "Arrri." Another one. "What do you want for breakfast?"

He glared at the smirking feline before sighing though that muzzle. Knowing that in order to answer her, the raptor would have to get up. Releasing another grumble as he moved into the kitchen area and grabbed a carton of eggs from the cold box. "I thought you would like those." Linet teased, getting dressed before lighting the small stove. "We'll have to get some more when we're heading out to the orchard next time."

A noise in confirmation from the dinosaur as he watched her crack the remaining eggs, add several thin slices of meat, pre-prepared potatoes and onions to the large frying pan. Taking some time before once again smelling under her shirt, receiving a small chuckle and a pet. "Really, I'm okay, Ari. Don't worry. I might not feel the absolute best the next couple of days, but it is normal for Charr." The scaled one nodded in understanding, trying to set aside his worries.

Yet, he could help but ponder what it all met. The red one liked the smell, but Linet has never smelled like this before. Watching her gaze as she watched over, almost lost in thought before needing to flip a few things over. Hearing him whimper and nudge the white one's neck, getting her to nod back and take a breath. "Sorry, I just... Miss it. Your tongue is fine and all, but I do just..." Another slight whine in response.

"...I've been thinking a lot lately, honestly." Linet mumbled, not taking her eyes off the cooking breakfast. "About where we are, what we have... What we could have. We're in a good place right now, financially and such. I like it out here, but I kinda wish there was more, y'know?" A faint noise in question from the raptor. "Ari... Have you ever thought about cubs?"

There was no response but those orange eyes stared at her in a bit of awe, removing all the worry from his gaze. "I know you probably haven't, and I know it's kind of sudden, but-" She felt his paws on the sides of her clothing, finally getting the attention of those red eyes as they met each other's stare. Nearly reading them without the dinosaur making a single noise.

Cubs?

"Like... Hatchlings and such? Charr just call them..." She trailed off.

Yes... Yes, I have.

"Did... You ever want to... Try-?" The raptor slowly nodded before Linet even finished, fluttering her heart a little. "And... You're understanding what I'm asking?" Another nod as that snout moved down to her lower belly and gave it a slow lick before moving back up to her gaze. "And not just for fun, but-" Another series of nods interrupted her, before those orange eyes shifted to the smoking pan. "R-right, we should talk about it at a different time. We've got work to do." A noise in confirmation as the large one watched her finish preparing.

One last chop and the charr took a breath, taking a hold of the split log and prying it fully apart to throw on the wagon. Thankful that it was the final one, green wood was so hard to work with. Hearing the raptor invite her over to rest within the long grass of the meadow, one much farther away from home.

Of course taking the offer, perhaps flopping against his body a little too hard as her body demanded rest. Happy to have a living pillow covered of soft scales and returning the favor with a few chin scratches, nearly triggering Ari's scratch reflex in the process.

The view was nice, able to see quite a bit over the surrounding treetops. Nearly dividing the grassy sanctuary from the rest of the land with only a small path connecting it, big enough for a wagon pulled by a certain raptor. Giving the two a nice amount of privacy to work, enjoy the breeze, and relax during the comfortable end-of-spring days.

Yet, something did still feel like it was missing. They had each other, but something else gnawed at the back of Linet's mind, wanting... Needing something else in life. A lick against her neck pushed the charr out of her thoughts as the dinosaur purred in question. "Just thinking." She answered him, waiting a few moments before another nudge. "About..."

Linet took a breath, looking into her mate's eyes. "Did... You really mean what you said this morning? About having-?" Ari answered with a slow nod. "Cubs?" The nod continued. "And you're not just saying that?" A head shake, making the white one's heart flutter but take a worried breath. Making him whine in question. "I want it too, Ari, but... Trying it might be hard. Now that I don't have... The stuff that I was drinking, it made me-" A snout toss from the dinosaur as he grumbled and quickly nodded, making her smile. "Be able to take you, yes. I can... Still try, but if we're going to do this, you cannot knot me." A snort made the white one chuckle. "I'm serious! It could really do some damage, and then you'll be explaining it to Jaara."

Another grumble from him as he nuzzled that neck before giving it a few licks. Trying to reach for her buttoned vest and take it off. "Easy, you. Not here-" That time, Linet stopped herself, actually looking around to once again realise just how private the area was. Then back at Ari who's eyebrows were nearly bouncing, making the furred one nearly laugh, take a deep breath... "Okay, here then-"

Finally getting the confirmation made the dinosaur suddenly get up and slide the feline onto the ground with a chuckle. Going to playfully scold him for such a thing but snapping at that white muzzle and giving it a deep kiss. A very deep kiss. And causing Linet to whimper a few times in submission while he pressed her into the soft grass. After what felt like a year, he was going to get more than a stroking off or a tame muzzlejob-

But his thoughts came back to him after a bit. No... This was more than that. This was... Unity. Companionship. Courtship. It was mating, and for the one he loved dearly. Releasing that kiss and giving that furred muzzle a few licks as it trailed up between her eyes, detecting a few of Linet's using that rougher tongue along those scales. Taking a moment to just look at her; back in the grass, the light of the sun gazing warmly at the two. The faint breeze causing all the green blades to dance. It was perfect.

Another kiss, this time much softer and delicate. Feeling the charr stroke Ari's sides a bit before doing something with her own chest. Undoing the buttons and opening the vest to her fluffy torso. Breaking the kiss so he can bunt the area and take a deep breath, loving that scent of her in season. As if beckoning the beast to just take her, but wanting more of it.

A few pets along that scaled muzzle as he shuffled backwards. Actually tripping and falling onto his underside, but resting his head on the charr's crotch so he didn't really care. Not bothering to move and just nuzzling at her area as he attempted to study how she opened the belt buckle + fly. Grumbling when she attempted to cover the process from his view. "I don't want you learning it and pulling my pants down in public, Ari." The white one teased, opening it up and grabbing that muzzle as it dove in at the first sight of fluff. Gasping and barely getting enough of the clothing down for that tongue to begin lapping at her.

The raptor's claws raked through her side fur gently, finding the belt that circled around her waist and began pulling it down her legs. Getting a bit of resistance at the back, but knowing it was just the tailhole in the pants, he left it. Knowing quite well it would slide out on it's own as the fluffy appendage wagged at the attention. Seeming to flick with every comb of his fangs through her most private of furs and where the scent was strongest.

Of course Ari was just being a little bit of a tease, learning just how much better it made the session, not only for himself but for Linet as well. Gently lapping his long tongue across those... Surprisingly swollen folds, already wet with excitement and near readiness. Was this due to the strange status the charr had been talking about? Something about cycles?

Whatever it was, it was making the dinosaur hard. Almost frustratingly so, leaving his tool throbbing in the grass while his muzzle got first pickings (again). Occasionally gazing up at his mate to meet her red gaze, one filled with sureness and excitement. Wincing with every lick, not of pain but overwhelming pleasure. Such sensitivity, even before the raptor entered her, making him ponder if he could make the feline squirt before doing such.

However, his demanding weapon protested. Impatiently waiting its turn and encouraging that tongue to lap harder, making Linet sing loudly in reflex. Attempting to actually keep herself quiet- even if just a fraction, but unable to do such. Her hind claws finding the dinosaur's shoulders and lightly digging into them as Ari licked and lapped, loving her taste. So much so that the tip of his muscle began squeezing into the feline's folds little by little. Abducting every droplet it could find, leaving the charr into a bashful blushing mess. Squirming and flexing her upper body, not knowing what to do with it.

Occasionally, she reached upwards to take hold of that snout, but just couldn't without something helping her lean forwards. Knowing what that meant and pressing his snout deeper against her sex, taking a deep breath and actually making the male himself release a jolt into the grass. Exhaling a heated breath that nearly evaporated compared to her own glow, attempting to lap gently at her while the furred one whined blissfully. Feeling that tongue separate her more and more with every repeating motion, as if widening that muscle just a little more each time-!

Until it suddenly slipped from the wetness and fell inside, getting a very tight squeeze from the female that held Ari in place for what felt like several minutes. Like just barely catching a mouse and keeping it still, feeling it wiggle in her grasp attempting to escape, but the raptor wasn't making any sounds of pain. Just teasing the poor feline until she released a small jolt, forcing her to relax and feel Ari clean her up.

A few more laps along her outside before sliding back into her tunnel, gentle at first. Studying it like he hasn't seen the place since hatchlinghood, getting a good feel for the girth and depth with his most flexible of muscles. Hard to believe she was getting this tight and rather quickly over the weeks, but with a bit of testing... Yes. The raptor's mating tool should still be able to fit inside her.

However, it would be best to prepare the charr beforehand. Starting to move his tongue progressively faster, stronger, and thicker on occasion. Driving the female wild as she squeezed and squirmed, thrashing in movements that surged through her body as the dinosaur attempted to hold her lower end still. Thrusting that red tongue into her again and again as her vocals climbed, until a very tight squeeze caused her to strain and squirt heavily into his maw. Retreating his muscle to enjoy the rewards before going in for a second one.

Ari added small twists to his movements this time, going against the constant shifts and squirms of the female. Trying to ignore the slight piercing of her hind claws against his shoulders and neck, but... It was getting much easier to slide and move his wet tongue into her sex. Surprisingly so... To the point where he wondered during his movements, could he possibly squeeze in his...?

Regardless, Linet stated No beforehand, and he should obey her, just in case. Especially if he wanted to keep doing this and keep his mate safe. Riling up the charr as she cried in pleasure, completely unable to hold back any longer before once again squirting into his maw. A bit heavier this time and it did last longer than usual before easing the grip on his tired tongue.

It worked up the raptor so, but he did need the rest. Flicking his tongue a little bit after swallowing her gift, resting his chin on her belly while the feline calmed down. Receiving a few pets on that scaly muzzle before he started to move; pulling off her trousers and tossing them somewhere before resting his large body on top of the fluffy one. Meeting Linet's muzzle with the dinosaur's own for a slow, and soft kiss, both of them already exhausted from a day's work and a small session...

But they wanted this. They both did, dearly. Taking those few moments of rest, the scent of her heat still driving his instincts to just ignore the tired warning signs for now. Throbbing that tool to the point of constantly leaking over that tail and letting it follow the fluff up to those haunches. Lightly tugging the charr by the muzzle as he moved up, not wanting to break the kiss. Finish undressing her top; pulling her arms out of the vest so Ari could embrace every inch of that soft body against his underside.

Though, releasing a slightly frustrated growl as the feline's tail tested that red weapon's patience, brushing against its length and heated flesh while that tip was left inches away from its destination. Attempting to just enjoy this moment, banishing any second thoughts the two may have before slowly breaking that fanglock. Sharing a few licks before she nodded, his loving orange eyes staring into Linet's...

And the dinosaur's penis entered her vagina. No more teasing, no more prodding. Just a steady press into those searing folds and the charr whimpered loudly in bliss. Separating her gates wide open, almost too wide to accommodate such a girth, but Ari's flare did manage to slip through. Leaving the two in heavy huffs while that weapon jerked in triumph, leaking a little bit of the raptor's preseed already.

Ari curled down to give her a few licks between the eyes, getting a pet on his neck to keep going. Whimpering constantly as the spire ventured forwards, swearing it was getting a little tighter the further in. Actually concerning the dinosaur, but Linet insisted she could take it; continuing to pet his neck and nod as she huffed.

Until a few taps were felt, signalling a stop just before his knot reached her vent. There really was no way that the raptor could fully fit in her anymore, the sad realisation lasted only for a few moments before he started to slide out. Keeping the flare within before changing direction, slowly entering her again and again. Making sure to be careful that he wasn't causing the smaller one any pain, occasionally seeing the wince but also the signal to keep going.

Such a thing worried Ari, but Linet always knew best. However, with exposure the slightly painful signals seemed to stop showing up within her expression. Leaving the female into a heated lolling feline, occasionally gripping his scaled neck or shoulders and squeezing his lower horn tightly! Actually causing him a little jolt of pain...

But it also stimulated the raptor even more afterwards! Causing him to lose more and more pre into the charr's sex and feel it leak out through the dinosaur's movements. Sliding in progressively faster and harder, always being mindful of his mate. Detecting the occasional strain or clawing, but it was only Linet's reflex or orgasm.

However, one time she let out a loud whimper, curling upwards into his chest as Ari held her tightly. Completely stopping his actions and powering through her very tight clench before feeling a steady stream of fluids near her vent. Soaking his knot and catching a heavy scent of her cum from below, making the dinosaur purr and lick at the white one as she fought to regain control of her body. Gently laying her back down in the grass and on her vest as he lapped at her muzzle, awkwardly arching so they could share a deep kiss while still being inside her.

Ari let the charr catch her breath, occasionally hearing her attempt to speak through her vocals while her body continued to have spasms. At least ones that seemed safe. "Please..." Linet nearly begged him, the same pets (though a bit on the jerky side) against his neck; requesting that the raptor kept going. To thrust into her until Ari filled his mate's inner chambers with his seed.

And never wanting to do it more than he did now. Starting up his motions again, giving that soft body a tight hug as he continued to pound into her sex. Only lightly pressing his knot against the folds and stimulating them while the male's own climax began to build up greatly. Feeling himself leak into her constantly, but not quite the full release. Needing to almost fight with himself to keep the flow up; used to having the stimulation of tying her do most of the work for the raptor.

But with every powerful thrust inched him closer! Her songs and begs aiding him greatly, releasing the occasional call himself as a load of pre shot through! The raptor feeling himself at the edge, but not able to quite get over it. Letting out a low growl of frustration, and though Linet's mind was mostly lost within the heat of mating, she could read what was happening.

The encouraging pets against his neck were still felt as the dinosaur pushed through his fatigue! Actually feeling her grip his tool hard during his pulls, mimicking that tying if not just a little! But enough to finally get Ari over the edge and release a straining whimper as a signal, this was it...! The build up being felt within him, the rapid breaths, the second wind causing the raptor to thrust harder and harder!

Their hearts beat in sync! Embracing each other tightly as the two let out one roar; Together As One. Before finally feel her mate cum heavily into her sex; letting the very hot fluids venture deep into Linet's chambers where a new sensation of sorts was felt! A powerful one; that of consummation. Giving her belly a little bulge as the raptor continued to release, being forced to the gate with every torrent until finally out of her sex.

...Where the sprays continued, soaking over her white coat as Ari shuffled forwards. Feeling her paws immediately tend and stroke his pink and red flesh, helping him through the climax while taking a few ropes for herself. Soaking her underside, some of her face and muzzle as well before slowly down to a shaky drip...

But the shaky part was coming from Ari's legs, finally collapsing on top of her and making the charr release a yelp. Chuckling afterwards and just hugging the raptor's middle, it was the furred one's turn to let his body rest. Pinning Linet in place for a few moments before shuffling down and curling up around the charr. Once again sharing a tender kiss, lapping at the mess, and purring for a few minutes.

Ari's eyes shifted down to the bulge, making Linet's do the same. Placing a paw against it while more and more of his seed continued to leave her gaping vent. Still not quite understanding it enough, at least not to the degree that the charr did, but... He still knew. That this one was different from the other sessions. Maybe it was due to the heat and his mate's new 'special scent', or maybe it was due to his dreams lately, giving him a form of guidance.

Regardless, he wanted this. And his mate, regardless of not being a raptor, was the one he wanted it with. Sharing another look and a deep kiss; loving how she didn't mind in the slightest of how drenched her coat was from Ari's climax. It was just one of the many things he loved about her. Linet was more than just his master, always has been. That's why he chose her.

Circling around the belly, their paws met and took hold. A small embrace that meant a tender Thank You. "Thank you, Ari." Or she could just bluntly say it, making him smile brightly along with the charr. "So much. For everything." Looking over the area as the roundness deflated more and more, he could see it in those red eyes; satisfaction. Not only of a job well done, but a promise of a new life. And if it didn't work this time...

Linet would find a way to make it work in the future.
