#1 of Dog Training

It was dark, and Cydnee's head felt groggy. What had happened? The last thing she remembered clearly was walking home with her best friend, Shaniqua. Then out of nowhere, little darts had pricked her skin and she had been writhing in pain. Now that her head was clearing, she could recall feeling like she was being electrocuted. Oh my God...someone had tasered her!

Quickly, she looked around, realizing that her hands were bound. Now she was really scared. To her right, Cydnee saw Shaniqua bound similarly to a wall. Both women were gagged and held in place by leather straps around their hands and feet. Both were completely naked.

Oh God, Cydnee thought, her eyes darting from side to side, looking for anything that might help her. Someone had kidnapped them, and by the looks of things, they were up to no good. She had to fight back thoughts that this was all her fault. Shaniqua had said she didn't want to walk home in the dark, not through that neighborhood. The two, strong, black women had been having a night on the town, and spent a good couple of hours dancing in a night club. Club Blue? No, it was 49th Street. Club Blue had been full that night.

Cydnee had been adamant. She wasn't afraid - women were so used to playing the victim, and she would have none of that. They had every right to walk these streets, and on top of that, Cydnee and Shaniqua were powerful. They could handle themselves. But Cydnee hadn't counted on the tasers. They had fired from the darkness, and neither girl knew what had hit them. After that, their assailants must have given them some sort of sleeping pill, but she remembered nothing. They could be miles away from anyone looking for them. They could be in another town entirely! Shit, shit, shit, shit! Her fate was finally beginning to dawn on her. Her recklessness was about to get not only her, but her best friend raped...maybe even killed.

No! Even in the circumstance, Cydnee refused to see it that way. It wasn't her fault, it was her attackers' fault. Maybe it was small consolation, but the young woman needed whatever she could get. Shaniqua was awake, her eyes wide as she glanced silently over at Cydnee. They could say nothing intelligible through those gags. All they could do was wait uncomfortably in the dark and quiet. Cydnee was relieved to see fear in her friend's face, not blame.

After a few minutes of silence, Cydnee tried to break her bonds. Fuck! They wouldn't budge! The leather was strong, but at least it was comfortable. There was no chance at all of her escaping those straps, so she quickly gave up, reserving her strength for when she was sure the rapists would come. She wouldn't give in quietly!

She tried to relax, but it was hard work drawing breath around the gag. Strapped to the wall, she was forced to stand, because going limp put painful pressure on her wrists, already sore from when Cydnee was still unconscious. But the worst thing by far was the uncertainty. She knew nothing about her kidnappers, where the two friends were being held, not even how many days had passed. Was it morning or afternoon? When would something happen? Were they left here, hanging naked from the wall to die? Was her family, her boyfriend, looking for her?

She wished more than anything (aside from dreams of freedom) that she could talk to Shaniqua. Cydnee had never felt more helpless. She had always been the one in control, working hard to get the scholarship that sent her, the first in her family, to college. Now she wasn't sure she would ever graduate. She had always put on a strong front, but when things got the better of her, and they sometimes did, Shaniqua was always there for her. Cydnee needed Shaniqua more than ever now, and she was sure her friend felt the same way. But the hours passed in silence.

She couldn't keep vigilante for so long, and after many hours, Cydnee finally began to drift off, ignoring the pain in her wrists. But just as she was beginning to sleep, something finally happened. Cydnee heard paced footsteps. They were loud and spread apart, so she suspected that she and Shaniqua were trapped in a basement. The pattern of steps was odd, but it sounded as though there were three people. Every muscle in Cydnee's body tensed as she waited in the darkness, preparing for whatever might happen. A loud click echoed the small room, and the lights blazed on, temporarily blinding the young woman. When her eyes focused, she gasped at what she saw.

A neatly-dressed white man, in a sweater, khakis, and what looked like Doc Martins stood in the room, blatantly ignoring the two black women bound helplessly to the wall. Instead, he was looking down the leash in his one hand. His other hand held a long, metallic device. Cydnee saw two wicked prongs on the end of it, which made her think of the positive and negative nodes of an electric current. It was a cattle prod. But it was what was at the end of the leash that really drew the girls' attention.

A young white woman crouched on all fours, wearing nothing but a purple, studded collar. Shaniqua began to scream through her gag, making muffled pleading sounds, but Cydnee tried to glean whatever information she could. The white woman was slender, like the two friends were. She didn't seem to be resisting the man; her leash was not taut. Her hair was neatly cut, probably recent, but she wasn't a recent capture from the streets...not judging by the thick calluses on the woman's knees. She'd been walking around on her knees for days, if not months. Except for the cattle prod, this woman had every opportunity to rise up and try to overpower her captor.

The man wasn't worried about that, though. When he looked down at the woman, it wasn't nervously, ready at a moment's notice to grab the prod. Instead, he smiled at her, in what seemed a genuine way. The man was obviously taking great care not to acknowledge the two black women, despite Shaniqua's noisy protests. What did the man want? Why was he here? More importantly, why were they here?

"Princess, heel," the man commanded calmly, as if the animal on his leash were merely a dog. He stepped forward and the woman followed, strangely obedient. Cydnee would never do that... It struck her then, that this man might be preparing the two of them for a similar fate. Was he showing them what happens when you properly behave? He was trying to teach them how to act, and the benefits of obedience. No, that couldn't be true, could it? A man, or group of men, kidnapping women to force them to behave like dogs? Regardless, all hope in Cydnee's mind of perhaps enduring rape and being let go faded. This man had no intention of letting them go, not after showing them this.

He led "Princess" to the wall, where Cydnee noticed a bowl with dog food in it. The dry kibble filled the bottom of the glossy metal bowl, and the man said, "Good girl, Princess." He used his left hand, the one nearest the cattle prod, to reach down and produce a can of wet dog food, spooning a healthy portion of the gross meal into the bowl. Princess waited patiently, sitting and watching the man. If Cydnee were in her place, she'd reach for the prod and shock the man senseless. But Cydnee was tied to the wall, and Princess didn't seem like she was eager to escape.

"Okay, eat!" the man said with faux excitement. Cydnee noticed that Shaniqua couldn't watch this part, but Cydnee forced herself to watch. Princess lowered her face into the food and began to eat the dog food, lapping it up and crunching the dry food between her teeth. The greasy, cold meat product smeared on her face, but the woman seemed almost eager. Despite the amount of time Princess had probably been here, she appeared to be healthy. Her ribs weren't showing. She looked strong. If dog food were the only food offered, it was clear that Princess had grown accustomed.

When Princess had finished, and licked up most of the food plastered onto her face, she looked up at the man and whined. She sounded strangely dog-like. Cydnee didn't know if she could have made that sound if she had tried. The man smiled down at the white woman and said, "Do you need to go?"

Though Princess didn't nod, or say anything to confirm the question, when she was led to the other side of the room, where newspapers were spread conveniently on the ground, she quickly climbed onto them. Crouching carefully, the grown woman began to relieve herself. Shaniqua's eyes were clamped shut, but Cydnee watched, a growing hatred building behind her inquiring eyes. What had this man done to her? Princess seemed to be an empty shell of a human being. She knew that the man would try to do the same to Shaniqua and herself. What would happen to them when he failed? She would never behave like a dog!

He patted the woman on her head when she had finished, and then knelt to collect the newspaper, crinkled it up into a ball for disposal. "Good girl, Princess! You deserve a treat! Let's go upstairs for your hoagie!" With sudden, renewed energy, Princess hopped around, almost pulling the leash in her excitement to go upstairs for her treat. Cydnee wondered how she could possibly eat an entire sandwich after all that dog food, but it seemed obvious what the man's message to the black women was. Behave, and you get rewards. Cydnee watched carefully, but the man never once looked toward the wall where the two women hung helplessly. But she would never forget his face. There was nothing to do now but wait until he went onto the next step in his plan. Cydnee tried to sleep, but it was fitful and difficult, and several times Shaniqua woke her with her sobs. Cydnee never uttered a sound, but had she known that Hoagie was really the name of a big, horny Great Dane and that Princess's treat was to submit herself repeatedly to him on camera, even a strong, confident woman like Cydnee would have sobbed.
