Home Sweet Farm Chapter 14 After being freed and paying the company the money they owed Katie and all the other employees raced to the hospital to see how Kevin was. They had to run all over the place to find the doctor that was taking care of him. They had found him right as he came out of the room they had placed Kevin. "How is he?" asked Katie. "He's fine girls he has a few bruises and a sprained ankle but that's it so nothing to worry about." They all exhales with relief but as they were about to enter the room the doctor stopped them. "I wouldn't disturb him he is asleep and he need all the rest he can get if you want him to heal.". he said as he took out the key and locked the door. They all wanted to chase the doctor down and torture him till he said they could see him but if they did they would probably be in big trouble. "Come on lets go." said Hannah. They all walked out of the hospital disappointed. At least they still had there home and it was all thanks to a special friend that they kept it. Everything they had packed up had to be unpacked since they didn't have to leave. It was tedious work but after spending the whole day putting everything back they finally had a chance to relax. That night Katie slept a little better knowing that her friend was safe and sound but she couldn't shake something. She heard Gerald say that it wasn't over and that meant another big fight was headed there way and more will be at stake then ever. The next morning Katie didn't wait before anyone else got up she threw on some simple clothes. She tied a red clothe around her chest and slipped on her short blue jeans and shoes. She knew she looked like a slut but she didn't care she just wanted to get to the hospital as fast as possible. It didn't take her long to get a cab and in only ten minutes she was standing at the entrance of the hospital. The lady at the front desk saw her run in but she didn't mind her. She took the elevator up to the second floor and ran as fast as she could to room four twelve. She turned the door knob and the door flew open but when she looked inside nobody was there only a bed and its sheets. She saw a doctor walking down the hall thinking he must take care of people on this floor. He had pointed wolf ears and grey and white fur. His eyes where blue and he was wearing a black t-shirt under his white doctors jacket. "Excuse me could you tell me where Kevin Kamoni is located." He flipped through his sheets then looked back at her. "Im sorry but Kevin isn't here anymore." She looked at him confused. "What do you mean not here he was here yesterday." "Yeah, but his parents came and checked him out this morning about an hour ago I would say." Shit! She had forgotten about the move. He was moving today and she idn't hire him back! She ran into the elevator and went down to the last floor and ran out. She then caught a taxi and told him to drive to his address. When she got out she saw the garage shut. She managed to find the key under the flour pot and open the door. When she walked inside she didn't see anything. There was no kitchen table no chairs, no sofa, nothing downstairs. She ran upstairs and walked into Kevin's room to find it blank. There was nothing in it except for the closet and carpet. She must have been to late they were gone. She walked back to her home with her head down. She had let him escape and now she would never see him again. She walked up the steps slowly still in thought. When she slid open the door she saw no one was up but when she closed it she heard a voice come from the couch. "Ushima Farm back on top." The person had the newspaper right in front of themselves so she couldn't see who it was all she could see is there feet. "Employee at farm saves bank and citizens from madman." She walks two more steps then stopped. "Excuse me but who are you?" she asked. "Oh come now Katie you don't remember your own friends voice." As the person lowered the newspaper she could see his black hair and when he put it further down his sparkling blue eyes. "Kevin?" she said in a soft loving voice. When he put down the newspaper all the way she could see that it was him. He hadn't left after all! "You can't get rid of me that easily." he said getting up. Then Diataro popped out from behind the couch. "Me neither." he said. She was so happy that she was about to cry again. "So do you want me back?" She nodded whipping the tears away. He then got up and slowly walked to her, He slowly put his arms around her and held her in his embrace. "I know I'm not perfect but I am what I am." he said. She looked up and looked into his sparkling blue eyes. "Your perfect to me." He then leaned down and approached her lips with his. Her heart was pounding faster and faster the moment had come. Just as there lips were almost touching he slipped on something. He grabbed something to try and keep him up but it slipped and he fell to the ground. When he looked in his hand he saw a red clothe and when he looked up at her she was topless. Her face went red and she let out a shriek. "Im sorry, im sorry!" he said bowing. It was to late Mallory was already out of her room and once she saw him with the red clothe in his hand and that she was topless she pulled out the wooden pole again. "Kevin...." she said, her yellow eyes glowing. He chuckled and got up. "Be right back." he told Katie before taking off running. "Kevin get back here im going to beat you to kingdom come!"
