Chapter 2
The boy she had seen she could not get him off her mind, she had never been this addicted to a boy before but those eyes how they shined in the sunlight that's all she could think about. She had finally arrived at the university just a couple minutes late but the teacher still excused her. As she took her seat at her desk in the middle row she heard a familiar voice.
"Sorry im late professor."
She sat down first and when she looked up her face turned red and her heart sped up. It was the boy that she had been staring at. He was wearing a white t-shirt and a red button up shirt that was open, he also had on blue jeans and black shoes. Even in the classroom his eyes still shined like they did before.
"Ah Mr. Kamoni you've arrived please take a seat." the professor said.
He looked around the room to see where there was an extra seat but he didn't see one. He looked in the middle row and finally saw one. Katie watched him as he walked up the steps. Where was he going to sit she asked herself. She didn't have a clue until she looked beside her and saw that the seat next to her was empty.
"Please god don't let him sit here."
But it was to late he moved between the long desk and the seats until he came to that exact seat. She tried to hide her face from him as he got out his books but he still was looking at her.
"If your afraid I'm mad at you for staring at me this morning you don't have to be afraid im not mad it happens a lot." he said to her with a soft and polite voice.
She peaked at him for a second and saw a smile on his face. She raised her head up even though her face was a little red.
"Whoa nice eyes." he said.
He held out his hand to her still with a smile on his face.
"Im Kevin nice to meet you."
She hesitated a bit but then took his hand and shook it.
"I-im Katie." she stuttered.
"That's a real pretty name." he told her.
Her face was now bloodshot red.
As the day went by Katie didn't really see much more of Kevin she had P.E. with him and Advanced Calculus and there first class together but the rest was only her and a few of her friends. The day finally came to a close and now it was time to go home and relax.
It was already dark when she started walking down the streets of the city. She knew it was dangerous to be out at night with all the gangs that inhabited the area. She was walking by the abandoned part of the city when she heard some voices come up from behind her.
"Well well look what we got here, a sexy ass cow."
Three guys came out of the ally way. One was bald and huge, the other two were pretty skinny but had big arms which meant they were strong.
"Why don't you come with us and we will fix you right up." the bald one said.
"N-no thanks I have to get home."
She started to turn around when the two goons grabbed her arms and shoved her onto an abandoned car, holding her down.
"No is not an answer to me."
Chrome dome grabbed her shirt and ripped it right off her body without any struggle whatsoever.
"Now were getting somewhere."
She struggled against there grip but it was no good she was pinned down tight.
"Help me!" she screamed hoping someone would hear her.
All it did was make Chrome dome and his goons laugh.
He then reached town and grabbed her pants.
"Now where getting to the good stuff."
She then let out one more desperate cry.
"Help!"
Just as she did something flew out of the shadows of the ally way and nailed Chrome Dome on the right side of his face knocking him over.
"What was that?" he asked as he got up.
Katie couldn't believe what had just happened she had been saved, but by who. She looked down to see what had hit the rapist but what she saw both shocked her and scared her. It was a human hand with a chain linked to the inside of the wrist leading back into the darkness of the ally.
"That wasn't very nice." a voice said from the darkness.
The hand then got up on it's fingers and used then like legs and walked back into the ally with the chain following it. From the darkness came someone Katie was very glad to see, Kevin.
"Now I'm going to ask you to step away from the girl and beat it." Kevin said.
Chrome Dome was back on his feet and pissed off as ever.
"You punk ass just die!" he yelled taking out a knife and running towards Kevin.
"They never learn."
Kevin then balled up his hand into a fist and pointed it towards Mr. Chrome Dome.
"3,2...."
He watched as the bald guy got closer then.
"1"
His hand then detached from his arm and this time it nailed him right in the center of the face. Katie now knew who's hand that was. It had a chain attached to the inside of the wrist just like the other one. The chain ran up inside his arm and stopped at his shoulder.
He then turned to Katie to see the look of fright on her face.
"I know this must be a shock for you to see me like this but don't worry I'm never going to hurt you." he said.
For some reason all her fear went away and was replaced with peace. Kevin had totally forgotten about the two goons who were running at him with knives too.
